These guys are the best! We mentioned in passing that we were staying for my child's birthday. They put a nice little plate of dessert treats with a note. Can't wait to come back again! Great location next to the shops.

Very nice hotel, reasonable rates, free buffet breakfast and on site bar. The area and attached mall are full of entertainment, bars, restaurants and pretty much anything you could want to buy. Staff were friendly.

Nice breakfast. Decent rooms. Located right in the middle of a large mall, which is amazing or terrible depending on your preference. No in house restaurant, but you have a dozen options at the mall. Same with the bar. Really small...but there are alternatives nearby.

This hotel is simply amazing! Very high end looking at a relatively decent price. Rooms are very comfy and bright and homey feeling. The staff was so very helpful and nice. Ray really helped my soccer team out while playing in a tournament (the tournament travel.agency really screwed my team over :( ) the hotel is right within walking distance of s great mall.area with tons of food options as well as shopping, a cinema, etc. Highly recommend this hotel.

We loved our stay at the Hyatt House for this is the only hotel that we have been staying at since we have been coming to Richmond. I love the area of short pump, we will be returning within the next few weeks.

Today I was a guest at a Family Reunion event at this outstanding hotel. Needless to say RSVPs don't always add up. Nevertheless Abby Murphy and her staff were excellent in their efforts to accomadate the family. She was professional and humble in her responses and assistance. They did the best they could with who they had on staff. As an event planner myself I wanted to say "Well done Hyatt House!" Not only was Abby delegating but she was hands-on the entire time.

I was there to cover an after wedding function. The staff was helpful. The place is neat & clean. There is pool, Gym, facilities there. It’s situated next to Shortpump mall. Lot of Parking there.

Stayed here 2-3 times. Positive experience all around. Breakfast bar is awesome and filled with choices. I generally end up eating more than I should.

Excellent stay! Very clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast was excellent and included an omelet bar. Staff were kind and pleasant to talk to during the stay. Outdoor pool, hot tub and fireplace are on the second floor in a private type setting. Workout facility was also clean and offered a variety of equipment including weights. Would definitely stay here again!

Conveniently located in Short Pump on the back side of Short Pump Town Center. There's lots of parking available. It's easy access to I-64, I-288, and I-295. Theres friendly staff and the rooms are nice.

Rooms were spacious and clean. Pool deck on the second floor looked really nice, and the fitness center was good too. Great complimentary breakfast!

Large room with a kitchen located in the middle of an upscale shopping mall. The evenings were quiet and it was a quick 25 minute drive to Richmond for a conference.

We booked a corner tub, 1 bedroom suite and it was fantastic! Let's talk location first. It's not really Richmond, it's about 20 minutes from the city, but it's right off the highway, located within a very large shopping center. Believe me when I tell you it is well worth being outside the city! We arrived late, but the hotel was well lit and there was plenty of parking. The lobby, breakfast area, and bar are all readily available when you enter the hotel. Now that that's out of the way let's talk room. Clean and modern, and most of all spacious! When I booked the tub suite, I was actually just expecting a bathroom with a bathtub, and since we travel with our kids that's always a plus. I had no idea it was a huge stand alone tub in the corner of the living room! I actually hopped in as soon as I got the kids to bed, and am happy to say the water stayed nice and hot to fill the whole tub and it did so fast! There was a curtain to divide the area if you wanted a little more privacy (they were sheer curtains but hey they are there). Nice comfy bed, and a beautiful large bathroom with a double sink, separate toilet area, and a beautiful large shower. Since we arrived late, my husband requested a late checkout and we were obliged. The complimentary breakfast was a hot buffet, including home fries, bacon, french toast sticks, and a fresh omelet station, along with cereals, yogurt, bagels and more. I'm just upset we were only there for 1 night!

We stayed in the corner tub, room. Very clean, stylish... definitely wasn't what I thought it would be as it labeled a 3 star hotel. I would definitely recommend it, and look forward to coming back.

Great place to stay! I loved the convenience of being right there at Short Pump mall and near good restaurants. We had the King suite and it’s nice! Loved being on the corner not close to any another rooms. Only downside is the hallway smelled of smoke. Breakfast buffet was wonderful. Only thing I would recommend is to provide a meat option for those that do not eat pork or beef. Overall I enjoyed my stay and will be returning here again!

I stayed here with my wife for her birthday and our anniversary on January 1st. We stayed in the executive Corner Suite with the two-person tub. The service and the accommodations exceeded my expectations. Although this was a four hour drive for us it was well worth it and we will be back again

Beautiful place. Stayed here for about 4 days and it was very enjoyable. The rooms are clean and spacious. Lots of restaurants in the area and a short hop to the interstate. Unfortunately didn't try the breakfast. But no complaints from me

The hotel was located in the Short Pump mall area, so it was located near many shopping areas. It was also in a convenient place to get to where we needed to be.

Hyatt House is conveniently located within the Towne Center. The suite was perfect for our family, with a kitchen and separate bedroom. Breakfast had many options.

Great location, clean room, nice amenities! Would've liked the pool and fire pit to be open past 10pm, but still had a great stay. I will definitely stay there again.

Clean and great rooms. The area around the hotel is beautiful. This town center does close after 11 which is lame but it's a nice walk when you can. My one complaint was the elevator was very slow and I couldn't find the stairs to go up floors because they all seemed to exit to the outside.

Great place to stay. Attached to the mall and plenty of places to eat. There's a bus that will take you to tour sites. Complimentary breakfast omlette station and the rooms are comfy, clean, and more than adequate.

Attended a work training at the hotel. Very nice area with a responsive staff. The wifi worked very well.

Overall, very nice. Clean comfortable and quiet. Breakfast better than average, good outdoor pool. Several great choices for dining all at walkable distance in the nearby shopping area. Unusual and roomy shower, some patience required for hot water at our end of the building.

Very modern, very clean, very friendly. Staff was great. Room was above average with ours having a kitchenette including a dishwasher! Walking distance to dozens of restaurants, a comedy club, movies and hundreds of shops. Nice buffet breakfast. Very enjoyable stay!

I stayed in the tub suite and it's one of my favorite hotel rooms I've ever stayed in! The staff is very friendly and made me feel welcome. I'll definitely be coming back.

We love Hyatt House when we want to get away, do some shopping, and get some great food. Highly recommend it.

The staff is very courteous and there have not been any issues in any of the times that I have stayed here. Lovely place and definitely well recommended.

Large suite and a friendly and supportive staff

The Hyatt House is conveniently located within the short pump shopping center amidst popular restaurants and high profile department stores. The rooms are modern, spacious, and clean. I stayed for two nights and felt like home. The best part of my stay was the hot breakfast buffet.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and its staff. Its a modern, comfortable, sleek hotel with incredible location at the mall. Breakfast is plentiful. Staff is extremely accomodating (one of the most friendly and helpful I've ever met). Ammenties are high-end. You will not be disappointed!

Courteous staff, good amenities. Executive suite was comfortable and the sitting area was a nice feature. Expected a kitchenette, but the did not have one. Not a problem if you plan to eat out, just plan for a tiny fridge.

Typical hotel. Was clean. Bed could be better but it's not bad. Tv from 2009. Very slow changing channels as it is directv, only with no guide. Just a static guide on channel 02. Overall a good value. Very good service and friendly staff that are willing to help if needed. The mall that this hotel is attached to is very nice as well.

Great hotel with an unexpected Diamond amenity. The room was well appointed and overlooked the fancy infinity style pool.

Room was great, breakfast was wonderful and staff was helpful. Upon late pm arrival, no carts were available until after if already made multiple trips from my car to the 6th floor.

While minor (and staff was checking floors for available carts), it was still an inconvenience after a long drive.

That said, given the opportunity, I'll definitely stay there again.

Nice hotel attached to the mall. One of the nicer Hyatt Houses in my travels. Breakfast was good but the food area is small. Rooms are nice but the shower setup is a little quirky. Plenty of good chain restaurants within walking distance.

The Hyatt House is in a great location and uniquely situated in Short Pump Town Center mall which offers may things to do for guests. I had a meeting to review their event space and am looking forward to see how they are when we use them.

Stayed 2 nights, once on 5th and once on 2nd floors. Both rooms clean and well maintained. No complaints. Breakfast was amazing. All staff was very friendly. Would definitely go back.

This is my top choice for a hotel when i stay in richmond. The location is great as its in the mall and you can walk to stores and restaurants. The studios have small kitchenettes that are very well equipped if you want to stay in for meals as well. The beds are super comfortable.

It is a very well kept place to stay at, quiet at night with an excellent staff 24/7. Breakfast was amazing.

The business center computers could use an update. Still using windows 7 and whatnot.

I stayed at the Hyatt house for business and I really couldn't beat the location. The rooms are large and clean. Within walking distance of many amenities.

Amazing! I tried to convince my wife that we should move in here.

I stay there about a week ago and was please with everything I was most impressed by housekeeping a young lady name Hannah James was my room attendant and I have never had a room as cleaned as she did it. She went above and beyond because of her I will make the Hyatt my first choice. need more employees like her.

One of the best locations and hotels I have stayed in, I really can't think of anything negative about this place besides a few nitpicks which I will mention soon enough. But on the positive side, The Rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious. At the time I was traveling for work and the Internet/Wi-Fi connection is stable and fast (Automatic 4 stars or above from me just because of that XD). Staff were friendly and full of information. The location was nice being right near a town center and it had plenty of places to shop and eat. But my favorite was the fire pit and comfy chairs near the pool/hot tub.

As for Nitpicks, I can only think of a few and they are very minor. The free breakfast was nice although the food quality was a little on the ok side but I can't complain, it's Free!! This hotel has a workout room (A must when I travel a) but it was small and 4 or 5 people there at once can feel cramped. On site in the lobby is a small "Store" for buying toiletries, snacks, drinks and such but the prices were high.

Besides the small nitpicks, I loved the Hyatt and would recommend to any in the area.

We stayed at this hotel over the Xmas holidays, and it literally felt as if we were staying at a Ritz level hotel! Incredible rooms...spacious and with every amenity you could want, including a professional makeup mirror..Decor was lovely in the room as well as the lobby. Breakfast was sensational .... linens were top rate as well. Having an awesome mall right next door was a dream for my teenage kids and kept them busy. We will be staying here whenever we visit Richmond, for sure!
