Wonderful staff! Nice and clean rooms with a variety layout options to choose from! Staybridge is located about 10 minutes from Duke Eye Center and is reasonably priced for the amenities provided. The kitchenette was a nice touch and would be good for people who need an extended stay.

Clean, roomy suite. Helpful friendly night manager checked me in. The luggage cart was missing, but the people at the front desk let me use a wheel chair to move my stuff upstairs.

My wife is a periodic patient at Duke and we found Staybridge after disastrous stays at other motels. Once we discovered Staybridge we found a home away from home. The rooms are very clean, the staff is extremely personable, and the rates are unbeatable. Throw in a fantastic breakfast and you can't help but enjoy your stay. Thank you Staybridge.

Would’ve given it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the creepy Mexican guywith the weird hair and the black guy with glasses that kept staring at my 13 yr old step daughter while she was in the pool great rooms just watch out for your children

Awesome stay. I was there for a conference with the CDC. I slept well and breakfast was great. The bed was sooo comfy. Clean room and great front desk help.

A bit dated, but decent. Beds are comfortable, kitchenette is convenient. Strong chemical smell in the room, presumably from cleaning products. Almost headache inducing at first.

Breakfast is average. Typical eggs, waffle maker... you know the type. Nothing special.

If you can get a deal on the price it's a good option. Not worth going out of your way though.

Great room for the price. This was the second time I stayed at this particular hotel, and the second time I had a bed that felt more like a concrete slab. I probably won't stay there again.

The service was remarkable. The rooms were clean and cozy. The location is very close to the pubs and nightlive.

This location is easy to find and convenient to Chapel Hill and Durham. The building is attractive with ample parking. The 2 bedroom suite is very spacious and really made my stay more comfortable than I expected. The complimentary breakfast offered a good variety of options - even three different coffees. The staff always speak, and very are friendly. They know everything about the area. I enjoyed my stay.

Personnel and management staff at this property are some of the best folks you would want to meet and get to know. I stayed at this property during my business trips to Durham and I will be returning if I'm back in the area. The property is supposed to be getting a renovated gym...I can't wait to see it...

She called to tell me I see that you just booked a room and, before you drive all the way here I just wanted you to know that I only have one room left and it’s a smoking room. I didn’t want you to drive all the way here and be disappointed to find that out.”

I have been traveling for many many years and that is the first time someone has ever called me because they didn’t want me to be disappointed. I’ve shown up to find out that, even though my profile shows I want a non-smoking room, I am presented with a smoking room unexpectedly. Great job noticing what’s in my profile! I chose to stay here anyway because of her going out of her way.

I’m Diamond with Hilton and usually Platinum with IHG (dropped down to Gold temporarily) and that has never happened. I just want to say that because of Lauren’s thoughtful call, they get five stars. Rooms were clean and the free evening Fajitas, wine and beer were welcomed after a long travel day.

Great Hotel. Good location and very friendly and helpful staff.

Overall it's a nice place with friendly helpful staff. The room was clean, and much larger than usual. It even had a full kitchen and living space. The breakfast bar was a bit sparse and some of the hot items weren't the best. It was pretty similar to a Hampton Inn.

What an amazing place. Very close to lots of food options, easy highway access and close to the university. The lady at the front desk remembered me from 8 months ago! Staff here is the best and the rooms are very decent. Highly recommend this place.

The 2 bedroom suite is awesome. The space accomodated my family comfortably. The breakfast and dinner provided was better than the run of the meal fare.

The room itself was nice. Very spacious, with two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a living room, a kitchenette, and three large flatscreens. But, the hotel itself was not without issues. First, it smelled very funky throughout the hotel. We requested another area of the hotel but they were fully booked. Second, the elevators were uncomfortably hot. When we got there, I noticed some salad and dressing on the floor. Also, when I went to buy drinks, the cooler in the "Pantry" was broken so my beverages were warm. I was still charged full price for these subpar products. They have hot breakfast that was 'meh' at best. It had many items missing. That being said, the staff was courteous, and apologetic for their shortcomings. The beds were very comfortable, and I loved the soap. If this place got their act together. It would be at least a 4.

I have stayed here on and off for almost 3 years now when I'm in Durham. All the staff here is professional and nice. They do make you feel like you are home. From front desk to the house keepers, every one is all smiles. Great team.

Free breakfast and 24 hour coffee. Free dinner Mon - Weds. The food is quite good.

There is a shuttle service. Laundry machines are available for free, just have to buy your own detergent and fabric softener.

We are currently staying here while my wife is getting cancer treatment at Duke and staff is excellent, the rooms are very clean and spacious... They are very professional and willing to make things right all the time. From the manager to the house keeping personnel, night and day crew, the kitchen personnel, they are awesome.

They offer free washing and drying service .
But you use them during day time because the house keeping staff use them to wash the towels and sheets in them
It take them all day to do this
They should not do this in public machines
They should have there on to do this

Really nice Staybridge. Room clean, comfy, great breakfast, but what makes this hotel standout from the rest is 2 people. They make you feel like friends. John at the front desk is so friendly! My children went down to breakfast and they met him. They only had nice things to say about him. And the other is the man at the breakfast, he literally makes you feel served. These men make all the difference in the world.,they are awesome people!

Nice place in convenient location. Rooms are clean and have plenty of space. Although the parking spots are a bit narrow and it is sometimes hard to find a spot when the hotel is completely full.

Would like a king bed. Had to ask for shampoo, and dirty clothes bag. Could use more parking. Great breakfast selection. Grape and pineapple juices.

This place ROCKS! We lost power during the recent snow storm. We have 2 young boys will food allergies, so we needed a kitchen to cook for them (electric stoves suck). Called in at 8:30 AM, spoke to a friendly rep at the front desk (not forwarded to some stupid call center like some other places, like the hilton right next door to them). Had a room immediately available that was already clean. Moved in right away. Check in was a breeze. I had actually forgot to request a non-smoking room, which they had automatically given us anyways but was on a smoking floor. I told them, and they swapped it out for us and had us on a non-smoking floor. So simple and easy. The rooms and kitchen are superb! Really just what's needed for a family of four needing a place to stay with a kitchen. Really liked how the bedroom had doors to partition off the space so our little one could nap while my older and I watched tv or cooked. Breakfast bar was pretty damn good for a complimentary meal. Unfortunately wasn't able to stay for the dinner meal, but that looks amazing as well. All the staff I conversed with or ran into in the halls looked genuinely happy to be there doing what they do, so the atmosphere was just pleasant. Wished more hotels were like this.

A few years ago I visited the Staybridge Suites for a work related meeting. The staff were very helpful in assisting me, and very polite to my coworkers and I througout our meeting.

My stay at Staybridge Suites was wonderful. I was here for three weeks and do not have one complaint. The hot breakfast every morning and dinner's on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights were wonderful. The wine was good too :) The rooms were quit and the beds comfortable. The staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to help you. If I come back to Durham again I will for sure stay here. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff and management at this hotel should pat themselves on the back!!!!!

I cant always do a rating 100% but this nails this! We had our dogs and a great little walk out into woods. a perfect score! I work at a 4star,4diamond hotel , so I guess I may be hyper critical of others, you made for a wonderful stay! i hope this going to those who may our stay so great! not just some robo big brother to send it out there!
