Went here for afternoon tea with a couple of friends and it didn't disappoint. The staff was fantastic and don't get me started on the pastries and sandwiches. Everything was delicious and enjoyed in a luxurious environment. Sure, it's on the expensive side but when I paid i definitely felt i got my money's worth. I'll be back for some more pink champagne and baked goods!

I was at the Westbury to celebrate my engagement with my friends. The staff were lovely and very hospitable. They even gave me a Happy Engagement Desert. Thank you so much.

Very good hotel located in Grafton street right in the heart of Dublin. Service was great! Room amenities were good. Food was good. Grafton street shopping is right at your doorstep. Lots of restaurants and pubs around offering plenty of food options. Concierge service was excellent. I didn't have local currency with me and they ensured that I had a cab that accepted credit cards for my ride to the airport. Very thoughtful. Loved my visit and highly recommended this hotel.

Location and staff are amazing! I would definitely stay here again. I read some other reviews about the room being dated and small. I find they are pretty typical or better than average rooms for Europe and especially Dublin. The beds are comfortable, everything is just a few minutes walk away. Great place to stay when exploring Dublin.

We had a small business breakfast with one of our customers. The service was nice and quick in response to our order and we got a good coffee, tea and soda for the start. During the breakfast we concluded we were in need of a meeting room for presentation and privacy. The event manager provided us very fast and for a reasonable price a room. Personally I would schedule customer meetings more often here.

Such a lush hotel. I had a great experiece with staff. They are very much friendly and always asking if they could help you in anyway. I love this space. For a solo tea and magazine or a bit of prosecco and share a plate with pals or family, it is the coziest and most luxurious experience ever. Everyone has to experience this place - it is such a visually beautiful hotel. Ireland's best Hotel😍

Gorgeous food, top notch service- told them we were in a bit of a rush and they were brilliant about keeping things moving. Also the special had run out, but the chef offered a lovely substitution immediately. Will be back for sure!

This is a high end hotel with high prices but this is reflected on the quality of the food, drinks and service. We came here for cocktails and dessert after a not so good dinner elsewhere and we were not disappointed. Avocado cake (yes) with espresso martinis were superb.

Start from the best... Really nice bar, comfy seats, great service and decent cocktails. Very professional. Check in was quick and efficient, got couple surprises over the stay. Restaurant has really good layout, great decorations. Food was awful and overpriced. Wouldn't call it even restaurant, more like a weak bistro. However location is great, so plenty of restaurants around in the city. Avoid this one.Was no hot water in the room, tryed to report it on check out, no one wanted to hear about it. Room has unpleasant smell of mould and dirty walls.

We stayed here for our honeymoon trip and the entire staff was so professional, helpful, and kind. We especially enjoyed the breakfast (the Red Berries tea is incredible). The location simply can't be beat either - we were able to walk to all of the things we wanted to do in Dublin.

This is a very nice hotel and the staff was pleasant and tried to be helpful. However we booked this hotel months in advance for my wife's birthday and they gave away our front facing room as the hotel became overbooked for a concert. This in itself is a problem yet was made worse when the front desk staff confirmed we booked a front facing room, charged us for it, and gave us the keys. To our surprise we found ourselves in a rear alley facing room. Upon calling the desk they informed us that our room was not available and had been given away. We were given a credit and Champagne as an apology which was a nice gesture. Again the hotel is very nice with pleasant staff but I would warn against booking this hotel for special events or occasions as your request may not be honored.

Came here for afternoon tea to celebrate a family birthday. The lounge was very elegant and while full, the seating was very well spaced and thought out. The food was everything you would expect and more. Service was attentive and friendly and the whole experience was wonderful and refined. Would certainly return and recommend.

Actually (very) good Hotel. Great location. Staff very attentive and friendly, also forward looking. Very pleased with that. Food is good to excellent, depending on what you choose, but you can‘t go wrong. What needs a bit of make up are the rooms, spacious but have out-reached the lifetime in terms of furniture and equipment. Such a cool Hotel like this should have more contemporary, modern rooms. Having said that, and as picky as I am, I‘ll be back!

Visited the bar upstairs recently for a cocktail and it was really excellent. The staff are friendly and the service is quick, especially as it was a Friday night and the place was busy. The live band we're doing Rat Pack style songs and they were brilliant. The atmosphere is lovely, very classy, and just a really nice experience.

I have been there for a medical conference, and the conference hall is big and clean enough. However more care needs to be given to the wall mirrors (seems dirty I think). The big screen on the front is absolutely not good for purpose, it need to be a single big screen than several screens in an integrated mode.

Location is second to none. We stayed in a superior room but I've stayed in 4 stars that were nicer. Lobby is very bland. Next time I'll stay in a 4 star 10 minutes walk away for a third of the price.

I just spent a few nights at the Westbury with my family. It was a beautiful hotel with excellent restaurants. It's located right in the heart of the town and you can walk to everything from there. A special thank you to Joseph Downing, Rory Rooney and the Italian hostess in Balfe's. The Westbury has an amazing staff but these three people went above and beyond to make our stay so special.

We booked it through the amex hotels and resorts program. We were upgraded to a luxury suite upon arrival. The room was spacious and immaculate. The breakfast and dinners in the hotels restaurants were top notch. I would highly recommend starting her if you are visiting Dublin. Central location and a Serene oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city.

The Westbury provided an excellent experience! The location was perfect for getting out and walking around the town! Literally a 15 minute or less walk from major tourist sites and an even shorter walk to restaurants, pubs, and shopping! The hotel staff was friendly and helpful with any questions we had for them! Also the bar on the main floor of the hotel was really cool!

“Splendid”

Super central location off Grafton street.
Very well decorated, with great taste.
Nice bar, deep house playing, for an informal meeting or just a drink, with friendly staff and a great choice.
Recommended.

Afternoon Tea at the Westbury Hotel was absolutely superb. The experience was so phenomenal from start to finish, including the reservation process. Truly one of the highlights of my 10-day trip to Ireland. They reserved an elegant table for me right next to the windows, so I had a great view of the hustle and bustle of Grafton Street below, and a nice proximity to a very romantic roaring fireplace. Oh so perfect. The service was just so fantastic. I was taken care of by what seemed like a small army of extremely nice and extremely helpful and professional servers. We had such nice little chats. Really a delightful staff. They also made great recommendations of all the great tea options, and I thoroughly enjoyed each tea I tried. You can try as many as you like. The champagne was wonderful and the food was quite excellent. Each tier contained multiple delights; so creatively conceived, fantastically executed, and beautifully presented. It was a perfect, charming, delectable food-tasting adventure. If this is the kind of thing you'd appreciate, then you absolutely must partake. Enjoy!

My go to place for cocktails and a good warm bed in Dublin. Honestly the drinks are fantastic - give a Gunpowder a try, or an Old Fashioned, both will leave you order a second, or third, or fourth.

Just a fantastic place to stay, especially for Christmas. Location couldn't be better, right in the centre of Dublin.
The hotel itself had a great feel to it, not just a bed for the night but a real treat.
Staff couldn't be any happier or helpful and they all contributed to a great stay. Bars are given preference to residents which is needed at this time of year, breakfast was superb.
Couldn't ask for a better place to stay in Dublin

Elegant contemporary hotel situated in the heart of Dublin. Clean, bright rooms. Excellent and friendly service. Would have been five stars if water pressure would have been stronger and the tables at breakfast had not been low lounge chairs with tables to match. You basically sink in to the chair which is awkward while trying to consume your morning toast.

Great location and decor. Disappointed by the phone service. I tried to book their famous afternoon tea and I was told they would ring me back, which it didn't happen. So I called back and booked and I was told I would receive an email confirmation, which didn't happen either. The afternoon tea room is fabulous but the food itself was nothing special and overpriced gor what you get. Nevertheless the service at the table was excellent

I don't get all the 1 star reviews because "... It's expensive". Been here 5 days now (4 more to go) with great service in this very nice somewhat largish boutique hotel. Reception/tea room is large and elegant, room service has been great although the self closing doors can be loud as they clean the rooms while you're trying to recover from a late night and the rooms have two dual pane windows which blocks out ALL street noise and live bands playing across the small street. Perfect central location close to everything. Valet service/self parking was very convenient when we rented a car for two days during our stay. Highly recommend.

Westbury Hotel is a very good but expensive hotel. You get what you pay for which is an upmarket, centrally located hotel in Dublin city centre. Lots of nice touches that remind you that this is not a run of the mill hotel. I couldn't possibly afford to stay here on every trip to Dublin but have enjoyed it when I did.
