Great hotel! Clean, great staff, rooms were very nice had everything you need even a microwave! Breakfast was good they have a Chef making fresh omelets had a great stay

Very luxurious and very clean. Beautiful interior design. Easy to navigate. This hotel is convenient for wheelchairs users. Nice parking. And comfortable for trucks drive around without problems. Just some mosquitoes around this area and inside hotel.

the staff is responsive and friendly. The breakfast buffet is excellent! They have the best hotel buffet eggs that I've ever had in my life. The hotel is clean and has everything that I could need.

I just have to say that I was so very pleased and moved by a gesture that the staff made towards my husband and I. We were staying at this hotel in preparation for my sister's wedding (her reception was held at this location as well) when my water broke during the night. I guess the staff noticed my husband and I leaving early that morning for the hospital and a few weeks later, we received not only a cute little onesie but a card signed by all the employees. This was so unexpected but so kind and thoughtful. We really appreciate you all for going the extra mile and noticing your guests.

I was very impressed with the hotel and staff. Everything was so clean and upscale. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I live in Birmingham and I was just dropping by to set up a display to welcome the teams and fans who were visiting for the SEC baseball tournament. I had not been inside before but now I would highly recommend this hotel to our out of town friends.

The room was set up nice for a banquet. We had chicken parmesan with asparagus, potatoes, and tomatoes. They were amazing and cooked to perfection. Then there was a peanut butter and chocolate cake that was to die for. The staff was very pleasant and refilled drinks without asking.

Hotel staff is amazing, especially bartender and wait staff. Rooms are very spacious. Hotel does have smoking rooms if requested, they are on the top floor only. Restaurant is very good. Nice location near lots of shops and food. Very close to highway. Will definitely stay again.

It was really not an Embassy Suites experience. This was not my typical Hilton/Embassy experience. I can't express my disbelief to how unhappy I am with this stay. Nasty coffee. Worst pancakes, ever! Couldn't get fresh pancakes from the grill, that's new. Other locations are open to making fresh pancakes from the grill with the omelettes. This location also doesn't have irons and boards in their rooms, either?

Great location! Just down the street from the Galleria Mall and a short drive to Milo's Hamburgers. There is a parking lot as well as a parking garage. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room on the 7th floor was great with a great view. The breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. The bathroom needs some light maintenance, but other than that we really enjoyed our stay.

Nice hotel in Hoover with spacious rooms. The style is south state and not modern, but well equipped with a TV in each room, sofa area, small dining table and a kitchenette.
The hotel has a decent breakfast (including a chef for making your custom omelette) which was included.

Stayed here for two weeks for a conference. Fantastic complementary breakfast with a made-to-order cook on site. Suites are large with TVs in both rooms. Executive hour (two hours) every evening offering free drinks and snacks. Shuttle for close by transportation. The gym is a bit lacking but enough to work up a sweat. I would recomend an extended stay here to anyone.

Convenient location but Hoover is not designed to walk. No side walks so even thou you are walking distance from everything you can't safely walk there...hum. Hotel is nice.

Great stay. Comfortable, quiet and spectacular breakfast. Room showed signs of use, such as stations and lighting was the same as many hotels....dim. The flush of the toilet didn't seem to be made to move material down, weak flush. But the start was made great by staff courtesy. Willing to go the extra mile to help. Breakfast was great and Novella was a star. Had made to order omelets along with buffet of eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, grits and more. Hope to have the opportunity to stay here again.

Clean. Nice staff and great breakfast. The happy hour comes with complimentary drinks, even some alcoholic ones. The pull out couches could be better. But maybe thats a complaint for the pullout couch mattress industry. Either way, it was an overall positive experience.

Very nice location, easy to deal with, beautiful facility and huge rooms. And breakfast was outstanding. So glad we stayed. Staff was equally amazing and accommodating.

Frequent guest and have seen the quality fluctuate quite a bit over last 5 years. Employees are all excellent and provide great service. Exercise room is more consistent than previous couple of years. Food is pretty good but it takes way too long to get supper when eating in and is a bit over priced.

The service was amazing, people were nice, breakfast was great, and by far my favorite part was the complimentary happy hour. They were very wonderful and the room was very clean. I had an amazing experience at this hotel.

We had to evacuate during Hurricane Irma and this was an almost week long stay while the storm blew through and we waited to get power restored and cleanup started back home. They got us great family-suite accommodations, last minute for our family of four and my parents. The staff was very busy with so many people in the same situation, so we didn't have much interaction, but when we did, they were helpful, friendly and welcoming. We thank management from the bottom of our hearts for also breaking protocol and allowing our two fur-babies to have comfy accommodations as well! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Moreover, I must say, if we ever decided to move elsewhere in the southeastern US (which is doubtful, since, with all of the heat and humidity, I'd not be willing to do all of the work involved in moving our family for anywhere east of Colorado, lol!) Birmingham Alabama is breathtakingly beautiful and the people are SO VERY WONDERFUL, kind, warm and inviting! God bless the welcoming folks from the real south!

Staff is great, location is super convenient to restaurants and shopping. Rooms are nice, great layout. Kitchenettes are just what you need. Clean and comfy. Definitely coming back.

This is a really solid hotel in a good location. The rooms were well designed, but could use some service. Breakfast was a big letdown though. The service was great, very friendly, no complaints there.

Love this place, come here every time. Had couple things needed some helping with, it got fixed same day as reported. Highly recommend thed hotel.

I stay at this hotel a few times a month and I absolutely love my stay every time Corey at the front desk is always so helpful. David at the bar is awesome also. My wife and I will continue to come to this hotel for years to come.

So far my stay has been excellent! Location is great, right next to a shopping center and an IMAX movie theater. The rooms are fantastic. But the staff is what really makes the stay amazing! Excellent service all around!

Great staff, great room, free made to order breakfast, indoor pool. It was my first Embassy Suites stay and will not be my last. Room was very clean and silent. I never heard anyone else in ther halls or anything. They have a nice happy hour in the evenings as well. I recommend this place.

Came on a business trip rooms are spectacular. Very comfy and roomie, the dining in food was great no need to leave to get anything. Customer service was very nice and respectful. The pool was great! I would come to this hotel more then once.

The location was great and the free breakfast was amazing. The room was a good size but the cleanliness was lacking. Several of the towels were already dirty and there were balls of hair on the floor.

The rooms are spacious with beds for 6 people. The reception from 5:30 to 7:30 is always a nice way to end a long car ride, and the breakfast is good. 10/10 would go back.

Frequently stay here and always have a great experience with all of the associates. Have noticed that some aspects have declined - fitness room and room furniture especially. They do have a new treadmill and this week they are updating the fitness room floor. Also was told sofas in room will be updated. When all this is doe, I'm sure I'll give it 5 stars.

This is one of the BETTER Embassy Suites that I have stayed at. We absolutely love it. This place is literally our home away from home when we visit our home town Birmingham. It is always very clean. The staff are always very attentive, and the breastfast is great! They alson offer a really nice Evening Reception with complimentary drinks and snacks. The rooms are nice, welcoming, and comfortable. Again, I love this hotel.

So we loved it here... It was a awesome Valentine's day. I love embassy suites and this property was no exception. Rooms and service from check in were wonderful.

The rooms were comfortable and clean. The color scheme was so elegant and rich. The couch with the built in chaise lounge was just perfect for me.

The area is beautiful and everything is convenient and within walking distance.
The food is well.. Let's just say when I was done....a nap followed 😪😪😪!!

We have stayed in many Embassy suites locations. This one was exceptional for customer service and staff A1. The room was not so great. It was just not clean. Mystery stains on the couch etc.... The staff was perfect but the rooms are not on par with the brand.

The service and amenities at the Hoover Embassy hotel are always excellent. It's affordable, and it's one of the only places to offer free drinks and snack food. The meeting area in the lobby is a great place to host a gathering for family visiting out of town.

Attended a Young Living Essential Oils Rally. The hotel was clean. Since I was only attending the rally, my access was limited to bathroom use and hotel staff. The staff were very accommodating and the bathroom were kept clean and functional.

Nice comfortable bed and made to order breakfast is simply delicious. Also in a nice area with a mall right down the street full of options to eat at.

We reserved 25 rooms for dozens of guests for our wedding. The staff proactively reached out to us prior to the event, provided high-touch help pre-event and every aspect of our guests' check-in and stay went smoothly. Several guests mentioned to me they received "over-the-top" courteous service during their stay. As a loyal Hilton customer, I was delighted and happy with this experience and will use Embassy Suites again!

The hotel is only a few years old. It's still pretty clean. I didn't want to give up the bed. It was the most comfortable bed ever! The breakfast was descent. Much better than most hotels, but not the best as far as Embassy Suites goes. The chef on the omelettes wasn't mean, but wasn't exactly the most friendly and entertaining either.

This hotel is very nice and clean. I'm giving lower marks only because the sofa was extremely worn and the tv's could've been bigger. Other than that, I'd plan on staying there again. Great customer service as well.

As one of the attendees for our company's annual agent summit, this hotel was perfect! The rooms are spacious and super clean. The meeting rooms were well laid and the catered food was excellent. An amazing summit at an amazing destination!

The staff was very friendly. They made up our bed, changed the sheets and gave us fresh towels when we were out. However they did not give us fresh sheets for the pull out bed, nor even made it up. Otherwise it was a great experience.

Great comfortable place to stay. Made me wish I was staying longer. Double queen suite was spacious, clean and stylish. There was nothing I could complain about. The free breakfast was great. Not just your normal continental breakfast but a full buffet and custom omelettes. Most hotels charge $20+ for the buffet you get for free here. If I'm in Birmingham again, this is where I'll stay.

Wonderful experience! This hotel is exactly as described on the website. It is across the street from the Riverchase Galleria Mall. The rooms are suites. We had checked in before supper and it had been a long day. They offered my family complimentary snacks. The room had 2 tvs and internet access-made our stay very comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was delicious! The staff was kind and helpful during our stay!

We were on a long road trip from Tampa to Kansas City, and this was the halfway point, so this is where we made our reservations.

From the minute we walked in the door, to the minute we walked out, we experience nothing but the ultimate in hospitality.

The lady who checked us in was FANTASTIC! She listened to what we said about the long drive, and she truly had enough energy to restore ours. We asked her if the restaurant was good, and she said it was. She recommended two items that she loved, and got us our keys, and got us up to the room.

As we entered the room, we noticed just how HUGE this room was! I know that all Embassy Suites are two rooms, but this is the biggest Embassy Room I have ever seen! Aside from needing some slight refreshing on the furniture, the room was clean and the ultimate in comfort.

We are sure glad the Guest Service Agent recommended the restaurant. We were the only ones eating in the restaurant, so it was not crowded, and our server was very friendly. We each got a sandwich and fries, and they were NOT your run of the mill sandwich. They were truly amazing. The lady from the front desk saw us eating, and asked if she could sit with us. We said yes, and we sat and talked during her whole dinner break. She was an absolute HOOT!

We enjoyed a fantastic nights sleep, in some of the best beds I have ever slept in. Upon waking up the next morning, we headed to the breakfast area, and all I can say is WOW. Cooked to order, means just what it says! Pancakes, Waffles, Omelets with every topping, hot and cold cereal. If you can't find something on this breakfast buffet, your in trouble. Best part is the it is included in the rate.

The lady who checked us out was super nice as well. Everyone at this hotel truly loves their job, and it shows. I stay in hotels a LOT, so I know good and bad service, and this was one of the best I have ever experienced.

October 16-18 2015..Our experience was great until we smelled a foul odor on the 4th floor after getting off the elevator. The smell was so bad it smelled like 100 toilets had over flowed. I went down stairs and mentioned it to one of the managers and he stated we will look into it. I later went back up stairs and someone had sprayed so much air freshener to try and cover the odor, that it triggered my asthma. I thought that was very lazy because the next morning the smell was back. I guess they don't care about the brand! People spend the money to stay with the Hilton brand because they expect the best. Stop being lazy, that's why the Embassy on Woodcrest Place is so rundown now.
