Beautiful hotel great staff. Extremely clean facilities

Such an amazing hotel - suites felt upscale and modern. COVID-19 cleaning protocols are in place and everything felt super clean - they even had "clean tabs" which was a nice touch and made me feel like they did a thorough job disinfecting. Check-in was easy through the app and I used a digital key via my phone to enter the hotel/room. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the Edgewater area!

Decent hotel to go to NYC while in an upscale and safe suburb with shopping nearby. Walk to 158 bus to Pabt and back to City Place or shuttle to ferry port imperial. Parking garage with elevator to lobby is convenient. A good unique Japanese shopping plaza Mitsuya is a mile north. Breakfast is good with above average pastry choices. Seating is crowded during my labor day weekend trip. Front desk is helpful navigating NYC with their bus schedule!

Thought long and hard about staying on Manhattan but instead went with the wallet and stayed here. So glad we did - forget about the ferry into Manhattan that everyone else talks about- the number 158 bus takes you to PABT in Manhattan for $3.50 from almost right across the road and it was actually quite nice to escape the busyness of the city back to the Homewood suites after a full day’s sightseeing. Lizette at reception was super helpful. Bareburger and Izzy’s pizza right next to the hotel provided us with 2 of the best meals we’ve had on our 3 month road trip.

Great location along the Hudson and a view of the NYC skyline. Very good customer service. Clean and bright.

The staff here are amazing! Lizette and Samantha at the front desk were very helpful with our questions and check-in/check-out. Cookie, the breakfast attendant, helped us find a seat for four on a busy morning. The shuttle driver gave us awesome suggestions of what to do in NYC. Such a good experience. Definitely on our list of places to return to.

Great location and convenient for families. Close to Manhattan. However, the hotel does not have a good plan for emergency situations. Our AC was malfunctioning during the night and they sent an employee who is part of the kitchen staff to troubleshoot. The entire hotel was booked and initially were told that no rooms are available only to be called back later saying conveniently someone had cancelled. That room was smaller and we would have to move all of our stuff in the middle of the night. They had no fans and could not contract outside technicians to fix this. We spent the night in heat with a 1 year old. Not happy.

A stellar experience for a reasonable price. Clean, modern, and quiet, as well as being conveniently located within walking distance to a number of shops, restaurants, and a cinema. The ferry to Manhattan is close by, and the hotel has a free shuttle to get you out and about within 3 miles if need be. Pleasant front desk staff and a splendid complementary breakfast round out this great hotel. Definitely the place to stay in the area.

Free parking, decent breakfast, fitness room with a view, shopping and restaurant near by... overall a very nice stay. The room were large but dated and very very loud. Ended up switching to a different Hilton location due to the noise.

Plenty of parking. Decent rooms. Terrible wifi. Many of the dishes/cups were not properly washed at the breakfast.

My suite was exactly what I would expect from Hilton. I was able to see part of the NYC Skyline. I also saw fireworks on the Valentine's Day. Definitely was a great stay! Another nice part was that restaurants are walking distance from the hotel.

Parking is easy; Many stores within walking distance (a movie theater too); Courteous staff; ok Breakfast included; free Wi-Fi connection was working intermittently; overall it was pretty good

We enjoyed our stay. We loved the convenience of the free shuttle back and forth to the ferry. Made it very convenient to visit the city. Good restaurants and shops within walking distance too. Would stay again!

Very convenient place to transit to NYC and some of NJ areas. Facilities are getting aged, so renovation desired.

I have stayed more than 1,5 months in July-august 2017 here. First thing about my experience is the Wifi. It is a murder. It is terribly terrible even if you purchase premium wifi for 5 usd per day. It does never get better. You cannot even browse your social media accounts. It cannot get worse than here. I cannot tell you how bad it is.
Other than wifi, in general it is a nice hotel. Breakfast is too American and full of sugar, but it is ok. Receptionists are all friendly and very helpful. Free shuttle service and the drivers are good. Room service is generally good. But maids do not speak English. If you do not speak Spanish, it is not easy to communicate with them. I am not sure if it is common for the area.
If you do not need Wifi at all, you can choose this hotel without thinking if it is in your budget. If you somehow need Wifi then you need to think twice.

Breakfast and the kitchen staff were excellent, although it was a mild variety of food. There is no pool, and that's a bummer, but the exercise room is decent.

Lots of technical problems during my stay. Room is nice, hotel itself is very clean and well-kept, but several sub par interactions and fire alarms at odd hours leave something to be desired.

Nice area, easy to get around. Amenities were good and appropriate for that price point. We stayed in a suite and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was included and your typical setup. Restaurants area would get a little crowded in the morning but there were seats to be found. Check in and out were easy as always.

Went to NY with my 2 kids and we finally arrived at 1am to Time Square. I called every hotel on the Google search list in the surrounding cities and vicinity for almost 4 hours and couldn't find a room. Finally , I called this hotel and Robert was able to help me out. It felt like God sent....lol. By 5 am I finally was able to get my kids to rest, we were placed in a suite, the price was unbelievable, beautiful view right next to the water, shopping plaza right next to the hotel, and parking was included. Thank you so very much Robert, you will never know how much I appreciate your assistance because you'll say you were just doing your job, but for myself and my little girls it was God send.

Awesome views, good breakfast, fast shuttle to the ferry. Probably the best hotel to stay if you want to go to Times Square much quickly. The ferry take 8 min to the NY side. And there will be a bus that will pass from 33rd st passing by broadway, near Times Square and 5th ave .

We aré million We are milers and eventhough We have a Higher status with the neighboring hotel chain and we would be upgraded on the other, this hotel is our first choice. It is extremely well managed.

We have been staying here for 33 years and were amazed with the accommodations. The staff could not have been any nicer and professionalism. They ensured yet another great conference and went above and beyond in meeting our needs. Highly recommend for your next event and/or vacation! Thank you

We had the suit with a stove and dishwasher, home like amenities, and it was a wonderful experince.

It's also close to a few restaurants, which are accessible by simply walking.

This is one of my favorite hotels. It's well located on the NJ side of the Hudson with stunning views of Manhattan. The staff is always helpful, and if you desire something to eat other than what the hotel offers there are plenty of options within walking distance. The free shuttle can get you to the ferry just a short distance away and soon you'll be walking the streets of New York.

Very glad we choose this hotel. The stay was beyond great, even know the weather wasnt. All the staff was friendly and poliet. Keith at the front desk, printed out directions to local malls and into NY city for us. Very good breakfast every morning. Great views of NY from our room. The rooms were clean and big, full size fridge, microwave, dishwasher and stove top, along with all kitchenware. The shops right outside the hotel are convenient. Free shuttle within 3 miles. Very convenient to ferry for NY City. Would definitely come back to this hotel and recommend it any wanting to explore NY City.

Great location. Spacious, clean and modern facility. Agree that shuttle could be more van than minivan, but service was excellent and free to/from water taxi to NYC is great. We have stayed here twice and will again when we return to NY area.

This place is absolutely amazing. Let me start with the fact that we were due to check in Thursday at 3pm but plans changed at we needed to check in wayyy before then at 2am Thursday I was worried we would be turned down or be charged an extra night. But Danny who works at the front desk made sure our room was saved and we were able to check in at 2 am. When we arrived the girl at the desk new who were and was extremely friendly and had us taken care of right away. The shuttle service is amazing it takes u to and from wherever u want in a 5mile radius. No worries for getting to the city the ferries are literally a 2 min shuttle ride there and the multiple ferries will take u to which place u need to be. Everyone we ran into at the ferries and in the city were amazing and kind i thought with a busy city it would be opposite. So we took the ferries then jumped on the 42 bus and got off at time square we were there in minutes. Everything was amazing and each time we got off the ferry the shuttle picked us up. The shuttle took us to lunch and dinners. To have such a clean and amazing hotel with full living room and kitchen , free breakfast and dinner with drinks and free shuttle service the money is well spent here and our room had amazing views out every window. The hotel was extremely quiet and parking is completely free and the hotel sits on cute shops and restaurants. It was the best vacation we had. My biggest fear was bad area and parking and both were exceeded this place is 100000% amazing I loved it. Definitely a go to place. Half the cost of nyc hotels and better staff and services :) Thanks Danny and the whole stay for a beautiful stay!

This hotel is my go-to place whenever I visit the Big Apple! My family has been coming here for years and it never dissapoints. The staff goes above and beyond to make our stay memorable, the rooms are gorgeous and the lobby is so cozy and comfortable. My favourite time to vacation here is around Christmas time, and the hotel decorates beautifully! Another highlight about this place is that it's a 3 minute walk from a bus stop that takes you straight into the heart of downtown NYC within 15 minutes. I would definitely recommend!

I have stayed here many times on business. The staff is the best and the shuttle service to and from the water ferry is a great help. Best to keep their number in your phone to call when you return on the water ferry.

Excellent hotel! My wife and I just spent a week and the service was the best ever! First things first... the view was spectacular from our room and the river walk was right outside the hotel. Our room was perfect! The room was clean and had everything we needed.

Now for the best part, the hotel staff... This was our first visit to New Jersey/New York and I was a little anxious about transportation and getting around to see the sights, but the hotel staff made it so simple. The shuttle took us to the Ferry if we were heading to New York and they also took us to train to go to Liberty Park to see the Statue of Liberty (the island was closed from the government shut down, but the tour was well worth it - best $50 spent).

I would recommend anyone should stay at this hotel if you are going to the New York City area.

Just a side note - other people I met at the conference had stayed at hotels in New York and paid twice as much and when I asked if they had a nice view they laugh and told me that the view from their window was a "brick wall".
