Was very happy first night but thought room was warm even with ac. On day 2 when we returned to the hotel I could tell something was wrong with ac. Called desk and a guy tried to look at it at 930 at night. No other rooms were available so the gave us a portable. Would have rather had new room since my niece was sleeping on pull out couch and didn't have ac. Then for the free breakfast there are not enough chairs or tables so went to the room to eat and when sitting on the kitchen chair a nail was sticking through and I cut my thumb. Was a lot of positive but a few negative. All the did for the rest of our say was let us use the protable ac unit and say sorry.

The hotel was is a nice location, as it had many restaurants near by and easy to get to Hershey Park. The rooms are very nice, ours was spacious and clean and up to date. Love the suite set up with full kitchen. The pool area is nice, as is the outdoor courtyard area which has some recreational options too. The morning free breakfast was good, with a lot of options. And we definitely used the hotel store as well for snacks and toiletries. All staff were really nice and helpful, will definitely stay here again!

Very nice and clean hotel. Excellent customer service from everyone the I came into contact with while visiting. Breakfast was very good. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the bed was extra firm causing me to toss and turn all night.

Has a pleasant stay. Room was comfortable. The breakfast was not that great. They could add prepared oat meal, some muffins or banana bread, pancakes or waffles to make it a more complete standard breakfast spread.

Loved staying here. I stayed with my two kids in one of their studio suites. My favorite feature -- something I miss when I'm on the road -- was the ceiling fan over the bed. There's nothing that beats that gentle white noise and breeze as you're falling asleep. The bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen area looked quite adequate as well, though we didn't use it as we were only there for the night. Breakfast was delicious, and there were plenty of hot and cold options -- sausage, eggs, waffles, toast, cereal, yogurt, cottage cheese, and fruit. There was also coffee, water, and juice. My kids and I enjoyed our stay.

Extremely well kept hotel with all the amenities I needed and more for two night stay. The rooms are nice, cleanvand big. The lobby has plenty of seating and the hotel even offers a social hour and hot breakfast, both for free. It's centrally located with restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The area felt safe and welcoming. I highly recommend this hotel for business and families. There's a pool and workout room but I didn't check them out.

Rooms were clean and the breakfast was above average. Staff seemed friendly enough. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were a little small, and I usually bring my own travel router that I plug into a hardwired connection, but the lan port in the room wasn't operational so I had to use it wirelessly. The bathroom tub seemed to back up and slowly drain after a shower. There was a group staying at the hotel, and they were drinking in the meeting rooms, and the next morning during breakfast there were still empty beer bottles on the tables, I think the hotel staff could have done a better job cleaning before breakfast. Overall, it's a nice hotel, but I think the staff needs to be a little more attentive.

The hotel was very comfortable for our family. The kids liked the indoor pool and met other kids to play with. Breakfast was the typical Continental breakfast but the changed things up every day with different items. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel was close to Hershey Park and Hershey World. It was a nice stay.

We enjoyed our 6 night stay at the Homewood Suites during a trip to Hershey Park. We had the 2 bedroom suite with 2 queen beds in 1 room and 1 king bed in the other room, plus 2 bathrooms. The suite was spacious and very clean. A daily breakfast buffet was included and it was just ok. There was something for everyone but it was only available until 9 Monday through Friday (10 on weekends). 10 am every day would've been nicer so we could've enjoyed sleeping in more on our vacation. Overall though, we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We would definitely stay again if we go back to Harrisburg.

Hotel was very clean and neat. Rooms are spacious and well accommodated. They are equipped with a good size fridge, stove, microwave, sink and much more. Front desk staff were very nice. After I knew I wouldn’t go back to Philadelphia because of the blizzard, I wanted to stay for one more day but they were completely booked, but they send me a notice that if anyone canceled they would put me first on the list. Next morning they called me and they got me the same room for the same price. Thank you so much for everything!

Great experience. Got there late due to weather, but staff pulled food from evening social hour back out and made sure we were all fed.

Perfect place for a clean and comfortable night with our kids. The staff was very attentive and friendly, the suite was clean and comfortable, the hot breakfast pleased all the kids and the adults, plus the pool and hot tub were an added bonus! Would definitely recommend!

The staff was friendly and courteous. The room was nice and clean and large. Loved the space! The staff even held our luggage after checkout, while we had an engagement to attend.

Hotel was very nice and receptive. It's a little hard to get to from the main road. Staff was friendly and lent me a ice scraper for m my rental car. Breakfast is delicious and has plenty of options. Social hour is like a whole meal with alcohol. Can't recommend Homewood Suites enough.

Very nice family hotel to stay at although the guy working second shift at front desk needs to know that he works in hospitality business vs him paying more attention to his phone and 2 tablets that he was watching,it atleast took this guy 1min before my presence was even recognized,i manage in hospitality and that was all the way wrong

Overall great stay. Kitchen and 1 bedroom king. The cookies didn't end up showing up, which saddened my wife. While we were there, the breakfast hall had no heat, which meant our breakfast was at approx 55 degrees, according to the wonderful lady who worked there.

Wonderful hotel! Extremely comfortable. Convenient to shopping, food and a fantastic local brewery with the best double chocolate stout I've ever tasted!

Solid hotel in most ways. Basketball court and indoor pool was a hit with the kids. Patio and lobby nice, but at night the outdoor space was full of smoke and beer bottles. Otherwise, a pretty great place to spend a few days. The breakfast buffet was as expected

Very nice place to stay. If I am working anywhere within a 30 mile radius this is definitely where I will be staying if rooms are available. The service is excellent, the breakfast well prepared ( for what it is) and always well stocked and tidy. The free diners in the evening where a nice break from cooking in the room or having to go out. One of the quietest hotels I have ever stayed in.

Free breakfast. Room was upgraded to a one bedroom suite, which was clean and spacious. The breakfast was lacking in quality, and they started to clear the area even before breakfast was over. That's what the -1 star was for. Also, the room service staff can't at 9am when we were still sleeping to do room service. That was unnecessary, especially since we were staying only one night.

Stayed here about a dozen times and have loved it each time. Everyone is very courteous and friendly here. The rooms are nice. The indoor pool is a big hit with my kids and the daily breakfast is always good. I highly recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel and great for multiple families traveling together. Location is a bit weird to find. We stayed here with 4 adults and 3 kids under age 6. About 20 minutes to Hershey Park.

The one bedroom King suite was very spacious. We had a huge amount of room for our four family members. Delicious breakfast. And a full kitten if we had wanted to cook while on vacation!

Set your expectations correctly and you will love it, food is good, room size is good and room Price is good but consider this a good all around hotel close enough to the park plus it has tons of restaurants and a mall within 2 miles. Great for families.

It was comfortable and good rooming. The hallways were a little dark, making it a little eerie. Only stayed there two days. Wasn't spectacular, but got a good quiet night's rest while visiting Hershey.

Stayed here for a quick weekend getaway to Hershey Park. This hotel was a great choice. It's located near restaurants and a big shopping center. It's in close approximately to other stores and about a 15 min drive to Hershey Park attractions (easy drive). The hotel was clean, the outdoor area was very relaxing, the kids had a blast with the basketball court and the indoor swimming pool. My family took advantage of the free breakfast and we enjoyed a dinner meal at the Mexican restaurant across from the hotel ( 5 min walk). The staff was friendly and were able to assist when needed. They even offered to text me once my room was available because we arrived much earlier than the appointed check-in time. I will return to this establishment. I stayed in a two bedroom/bathroom suite on the bottom floor. Close to the pool and gym.

Really good hotel. Good service and a pretty good breakfast. I thought it would be more continental but they had hot breakfast. The service was really good and the rooms were large for the family.

When we walked into the hotel, we were greeted by a nicely decorated lobby!! There was an amazing smell provided by air fresheners. They offered complimentary cookies. The staff was very friendly. Our room was very clean and exactly what we wanted. Great hotel!

This place is a bit aging, but very homey & clean.. staff is exceptionally friendly.. the convenience store is nicely loaded with great stuff..

Homewood Suites Harrisburg East-Hershey Area is In the outskirts of Harrisburg, but easy to get to from here. Hershey is a few exits down on Highway 322, East. Very good, flexible location. Check in was pleasant, we were welcomed and told of the hotel's features/amenities and were given the amenities sheet. The hotel is spacious and likely had been attempted to be decorated to the regions tastes. The room, 210 with 2 queens that we stayed on for 2 nights, is spacious and functional. The entire room is clean and comfortable. The kitchenette is equipped with a full size refrigerator/freezer and microwave(I appreciate this because you can produce your own ice by pulling down the ignition lever), basic kitchen dish ware, a cook top, sink, dishwasher, a dining table with two chairs, and descent counter space. The living area has a separate work desk with plenty of outlets, 2 plugs and 2 USB chargers. The desk is big and has the hotel manual is on it. The couch can seat three mid size people and doubles as a Hida-Bed, lines are in the closet. The entire area is very well lighted, both natural and fixtures. The TV works well, gets good reception, and you get the popular HD TV channels. There is even a DVD player in the lower console, the suite shop aphasia rental movies so that is a time shaving/rest option. The bedroom area is of adequate size, there is a separate TV in there, room for your luggage and bags, a nightstand with the same outlet scenario as the Desk. The beds are very comfortable and clean. They offer plenty of support and comfort. The bathroom is adequate, the shower is fantastic, might have the best water pressure I've seen in a hotel. The vanity area is well lighted and has descent counter space and has a shelf below and a closet to the left with extra space on the top rack. The closet has standard hangers, hida-bed linens, ironing equipment, and laundry order forms. The wifi does well for most light to intermediate computational tasks. The air conditioning is not fantastic, it serves its job, but struggled to bring the room anything below 70 degrees without running for 5 hours straight, note that the outdoor weather was dry and did not get above 90 degrees so it was hot, so I'll cut it some slack for it. The Suite Start breakfast is your basic Homewood suites breakfast with plenty of options and tastes good. If there is one thing I really appreciate about Homewood Suites is that they host Evening Socials, which run from 5:00-7:00 pm, they serve a variety Lite Fare food items, like salad, chicken, snacks, pasta, free drinks, and other items. The food is on a rotating menu, which can be found on your room's refrigerator door. After dinner, you can go to the terrace and sit and have a drink on the patio tables and furniture, putt on the putting green, play basketball, or play shuffleboard(note, the sport activities equipment can be acquired through the front Desk. Please also note, that the putting and shuffle board is unique to this Homewood Suites Property and I have not stayed in any other Homewood Suites property with them). The pool looks nice and big, we never used. The laundry is adequate, the machines appeared to be clean. We had trouble turning on the washer, after dispensing our coins, placing detergent, and adjusting the wash settings, the machine would not start, it just lit up on its wash cycle setting. Though, after a bang to the box above the coin taker, up the machine started. I reckon the coin got stuck and did not go through, and the thump knocked them in. Check out was peasant, everyone was friendly here. In summary, this hotel stay has been fantastic, I would highly recommend to anyone looking for lodging in both Harrisburg and Hershey Pennsylvania.

Very satisfied with the place. My usual spot when I come to Hershey. Little disappointed the the Jacuzzi wasn't hot. After riding coasters my body needed that liquid massage. Otherwise,.the complimentary dining was on the money

Kind and attentive staff, in particular the ladies serving breakfast who are on the lookout for guest satisfaction and offer help before being asked. The suites are spacious and comfortable and the location close to the highway is convenient for travelers on the road as well as people visiting Harrisburg

Rooms are clean, food is delicious. Service is friendly. Got my wife a hypoallergenic pillow in ten minutes. 10/10 would stay here again.

We stayed to celebrate our anniversary in Hershey. When we arrived at our suite, there​ was a complementary bottle of wine and a card wishing us a happy anniversary in our room! The staff were super sweet. The bed and pillows in the room were very comfortable. We also made use of the fridge and microwave to store and reheat or leftovers from nearby restaurants.

Great hotel! We got a suitesuite with a king size bed. Great service. Rooms are a little old and need to be redone.

Nice clean rooms. With separate kitchen/living room. They had free food, wine and beer in the lobby that evening. I was with a group meeting for dinner out, but had a few meatballs and some wine before going out. What a nice surprise.

A palacial atmosphere upon entering, white marble and good accents, a statue of an eagle sits perched near front desk. Staff was very friendly and helpful, try rooms were large, clean, and comfortable. I look forward to my next stay there.

Excellent hotel. Not 1 complaint. Stayed here for 1 night for business. Very clean, comfortable. Slept better than I do at home (that bed was AMAZING), I was texting a girlfriend and next thing you know, I was KO'd!! LOL

The complimentary breakfast was great, although the front desk said it started at 7, when it actually started at 6. Really wish I'd known that. Could've had a little more time in the morning, but it's all good.

This property was close to the highway and also very close to the Harrisburg mall. A few restaurants nearby made for easy dinner selection. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. We were quickly checked in and the amenities were explained. Free wifi was reliable and quick and the room was large, clean and well appointed.

Words cannot express the thankfulness We have in our hearts for the entire staff of this awesome hotel. We arrived at Homewood Suites - Hbg East with practically nothing as fire victims. From the moment we stepped in the door, we felt at home. The staff at this hotel went above and beyond any expectation we had!

Our long stay allowed many of the employees to become our friends. From the smiles and conversations with management and front desk staff, to the warm meals from the kitchen staff, to the cleanliness of our room from housekeeping, and any odd job or request we had from engineering, THANK YOU! You hospitality and genuine concern were greatly appreciated.

I stayed Friday night and Saturday night on the first floor in a two bedroom suite. The room was clean and the beds are form but comfortable. The facility is maintained well, the free breakfast is good. The gym, pool, basketball court, and lawn all look like they are kept up well. The staff is friendly

Plenty close to Hersey, rooms are nice and very large. Free hot breakfast and coffee all day. Pool and hot tub are nice. Only reason not 5 stars is the room was a little dirty, nothing crazy or gross just they should have vacuumed a little better.

We stayed at this location last week. It was great. It was pretty central to everything that we wanted to do. The staff was very friendly, but wanted to give a pat on the back to Dollis for being super nice to us. I'm sure she is very nice to everyone! The rooms were very nice. No complaints about this place. We would stay there again.

Clean rooms, great breakfast. Slow front desk but if you have the patience they'll get you whatever you need. All in all, a great stay.

My husband and I had our small wedding reception here a few months ago, and everything was perfect! All of our guests stayed at the hotel and everyone loved it....they couldn't have complimented their time here and our reception more!!

Each and every staff member is exceptional and friendly. The manager (Sara) and Sales Assistant (Kathy) are extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel grounds and rooms were perfect.

My husband and I HIGHLY recommend this hotel to everyone...no matter what your reason for visiting the area is! HIGHLY recommended!

If I must be in Harrisburg, I must stay here!

I had the privilege of staying in this hotel for an extended 6 week stay. The hotel staff is amazing from the front desk, managers, chefs and housekeeping staff. Sara and Ashley are fantastic and any hotel would be lucky to have managers as capable as them. Everyone is helpful and extremely accommodating. The front entrance, dining area and rooms are immaculate. Rooms are large with a king size bed, fold out couch and a flat screen television, wireless and wired internet and DVD player with a selection of DVDs at the front desk. The rooms also contain a large bathroom area, wardrobe closet and kitchenette with cooking dishes and dish sets for four.
Hot breakfast is served daily with a hot dinner served Monday through Thursday. The food is always tasty. The nights that dinner is not served several restaurants are located within walking distance to include Ruby Tuesdays and Lancaster Brewing Company (highly recommended). Many attractions are near the hotel from Hershey Park to Gettysburg. The hotel is conveniently located minutes from the highway.

We stayed here during our recent trip to Hershey Park. Rooms were very spacious and clean, staff was very friendly and welcoming. Pool and hot tub are nice and were never crowded. Only 10 minutes from Hershey and a straight drive. Also, Ruby Tuesday's is right next door - great food! Would highly recommend and reasonable pricing w/free breakfast in the morning and light dinner Monday - Thursday. :)
