We did everything on line, including checking in. When we booked, we had a room on the 5th floor. When we actually checked in, it was a room on the 1st floor. Not a big deal, but still a small mixup. The room appears to be very nice, but we have not stayed the night yet (meaning this is just a first impression review).
Very nice looking room, with stove top, full size fridge, dishwasher, even a toaster. Sink has a garbage disposal, but it didn't work.
All things considered, it'll be a nice getaway for the next couple days with my wife.

Would have been a 5 star if not for the breakfast. One of the waffle irons was not working, the waffle batter was out for a while, the "egg product" was horrible. Love that breakfast was included, but I think you should only do it if you can do it well. I know eggs are hard to produce en mass, but that stuff they had was really bad. Waffles are delicious though.

It was a really nice hotel. They had cribs available for the baby (even though we brought our own). Breakfast was great, good selection. The room itself was really nice, comfy bed. One thing that we didn't really like was the bathroom was in the bedroom. We stayed here with another couple and one of us had the bedroom, the other had the pull out couch. Luckily we're all family so it wasn't awkward but something to keep in mind!

This was our second stay. It's a great location if your kids are playing soccer at National Sports Center in Blaine. Both times, the hotel was full of soccer players! We were always greeted by the staff with a friendly hello. They only earn 4 starts this time because our room was right next to the elevator, and we could hear the motor at night.

The best hotel I've ever stayed in. I was here over an extended stay. Our family was displaced by Hurricane Irma, my fiance and I plus our two kids and our two cats. During our entire stay, which lasted a couple months, we felt welcomed and cared for the entire time. This place was clean, the staff was incredibly polite and the food and drinks were amazing. I would recommend this to anybody and we will definitely be going back.

This hotel is beautiful. The rooms are large and comfortable. They have an evening reception with food and drinks Monday thru Thursday. They serve free breakfast every morning. They have a wonderful patio and pool area. I'll definitely stay here again.

I love this hotel. My family and I stay here regularly just for the fun of it. The staff is awesome, the rooms are amazing, and of course my kids love the pool. Its located in a wonderful area conveniently off of 2 major highways, and there is many places near by to go shopping or just for fun.

I am so impressed with this place. Very courteous staff. The room (1br suite) is really nice especially for the price. The bed is comfortable and the towels are soft. It's nicely appointed and there's a good amount of space. I was not expecting this to be so nice...wow!

Staid 5 nights. Other than eating one breakfast we did not avail ourselves of the facilities. Would have liked to have tried their complimentary dinner. Room was no larger than a large hotel room. Service was acceptable. Liked the security

I had stopped in to check out the room and confirm if it would work for my parents. The front desk person (can't remember her name) was very cordial and gladly showed the room and a tour of the rest of the facilities. It was perfect!
I'm currently staying here and the room is clean, comfy and had everything that we needed! Added benefit of breakfast and the social hour! I haven't had the pleasure of using the pool yet but pretty sure I will before leaving.
Everyone on staff that I've talked to is marvelous! Can't say enough good things about them. They are very professional, courteous, friendly and helpful!

We had such an amazing experience here! Our wedding guests stayed here and all of thrm told us very positive comments about your hotel. They had champagne, chocolates and a beautiful card waiting for us on our wedding night. It was perfect, thank you so much to the staff here!

Good place. Just a little tad noisy on the freeway side, not wake up noisy, but a bit loud. Love their Happy hour, breakfast is good and the people are extremely nice.

Very nice place. Clean rooms, friendly hosts, they provide light dinner with drinks including the alcoholic type, and there is a nice sized parking lot. I did not see a pool, business center, or exercise center. To be fair, I was not looking for them either. All in all totally recommend!

This is a great place to stay especially if you have kids. It was like a small efficiency apt with a separate room for the kids to sleep in. There was a small kitchenette with a dishwasher and stove as well. I'll stay again!

Great place to stay if you're in the area. I noticed the hotel has the older Homewood Suites layout and hasn't been modernized. Overall, a good value if you're looking for a suite with kitchenette, but they need to work on getting complementary wifi and breakfast selection improved.

The staff were friendly and helpful, BUT not the mosquitos from the nearby lakes. My only complaint would be the terribly useless complementary wifi (typical of hotels) and the poor selection for breakfast buffet.

Location was perfect being next to the highway. Room was way more accommodating than we expected!! They had a full kitchen with cook and dishware! The seperate bedroom was also a bonus! It was more like apartment my familty and me loved it!

The hotel itself was nice, with spacious rooms in all accommodations. That said, the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, so if you're walking to find any nightlife, there isn't much to be seen. There also isn't a kitchen that provides room service. The staff was kind and helpful.

Great rooms, staff is friendly and understanding. They helped my friend who had credit card issues and did not charge any late or cancellation fee either.

A very pleasant hotel, the rooms each have a full kitchen with some dishes provided. Complementary breakfast. I was just looking for a place for my family to stay close by and was surprised at how nice it was when I helped them check in.

Room had a few issues at check in. Some were resolved, others weren't. Not major issues, just very small inconveniences. Staff is very friendly and very attentive.

The rooms are very spacious and clean. The pool and hot tub area or wonderful, perfect temperature. The workers at the front desk were very very nice. Breakfast and dinner during the week is very appreciated. Great place, would stay there again if we move again abd ned a week buffer.

No real complaints typical Homewood Suites. Well, its cleaner and nicer then most and some of the front desk people seem unhappy or maybe they just felt that ways towards me. Overall, I would stay again if I was in Minneapolis.

Quiet, large rooms, friendly accommodating staff, decent meals. We love the Homewood Suites and have stayed here a number of times.

Everything was pretty good. For a change, the water was soft (just about every hotel I have stayed at has had hard water). The only issue was that there was a hockey tournament over the same weekend, so there was a ton of pre-teen boys running around. The pool was really noisy and busy, as was breakfast. The staff had a hard time keeping up with keeping the food stocked at times.

Huge room with comfortable bed! The hotel is so quiet and peaceful and the staff is amazing. Very secure place.

I wish the kitchen area would have been a little bit bigger but otherwise the stay was great. There were 6 of us staying in the suite and the sleeping space worked out perfect. We also took advantage of the pool and workout facilities and were pleasantly satisfied with the quality of both.

The location was very close to my point of interest and the room was wonderful. Dinner and breakfast were included, and the suite aspect made it feel much better than a hotel room. I would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic looking room, excellent amenities...but... I could not sleep. I'm writing this review just because I can not sleep... I'm writing this review because I am currently not sleeping. Why you ask? Maybe because the highway is about 100 ft. away and the walls are thin.... but mostly due to the massive, red trimmed neon sign outside my window. The curtains do not close all the way! I don't like to sleep with the lights on... if you stay here, request you don't have a room on the highway side and you'll probably have a good night.

Definitely worth a little extra to stay somewhere that doesn't feel like a motel

Very clean hotel with spacious rooms. Very kind hotel staff and a lot of amenities. Only complaint is that there isn't a larger trashcan in the room for longer stays. However I may have overlooked this.

I spent 4 nights at the New Brighton Homewood Suites. I have traveled for over 44 years and found this facility to having one of the best staffs anyone could ask for at this level hotel. Everyone was professional and super friendly. I was traveling with a Syncro Skating Team from Dallas. Two teams, all young girls. Their every need were met. I want to make a special thank you to the staff that handled the breakfast. Those two ladies plus the dinner staff are a true asset to the Hotel. The director of sales was SUPER as well. Thank you again for a job well done. You are first rate .
