The sky is in in an awesome location, just skiers right at the base of Aspen. 39 degrees is a favorite for aggressive apres. The food has gone a little downhill in the last year, but it gets the job done. Rooms are small, but well apointed. Very hip modern vibe.

Bought a Groupon that said king bed but got a double Queen room. Not the worst but shouldn't say that if the hotel room is going to be something else. Hotel itself was great. Located close to the ski slopes and has a nice pool area and buffet breakfast.

39 Degrees is for sure a hot spot place to be and be seen. Après ski pool party powered by great drinks and DJ. Def check it out!

I'd give it two stars but the Apre Ski scene is wild. I'm a big fan of controlling the temperature in my room I'm paying $500+ for. This room baseboard heat is programmed by the hotel not to go above 72. I'm also not a fan of bartenders pricing the exact same drink higher 30 min later just "because". I get paying $8 a drink at the hotel bar but 1 hour later and last call it's $10, shady.

The bar was a home run or strike out, just need to pick the right night. They are trying to completely redo the property so the upkeep is somewhat lacking and the staff has more temporary people or so it seems. Still you cannot beat the location.

Service was friendly. Furniture was tasteful. I liked it.

My favorite hotel in Aspen. Nearly ski in ski out, ski storage, free wine hour, huge apres ski crowd, cheap compared to other ski in/out places, and quietly tucked around the corner from the noise of the main downtown aspen. Rooms are standard hotel room size, beds and pillows are very comfortable, and nice decor.

Staff was very friendly and helpful and room was nice. Beautiful views and right next to the ski lift.

Every thing was good. Great atmosphere friendly staff. Though, there is no where to smoke. Not one designated area

We loved the room and that the pool was heated. My biggest issue was that the only option for parking is valet and costs $27. This should be included in the cost of the room. Also, the bathrooms were not updated - they look to be 20 years old. Service was great!

This hotel is great. We came for the tough mudder in snow mass. They are pet friendly, and we have an awesome dog that we bring everywhere. They had free wine tasting while we were there as well. The hot tub is great and the service was great too! Definitely coming back here when we come to Aspen!

Great place with really nice staff. The hotel is well kept up and in the evening around 5:00PM they have a complementary wine hour in the lobby.

The location is pristine. The gentlemen in front and the ladies by the pool did an outstanding job of making us feel both welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay. We enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay one night and can't wait to stay again during the winter

The Sky Hotel is a very nice. The pool and hottub were very pleasant and relaxing and warm. We are located very close to the gondola and the ski options are plentiful. The main downside of the hotel is the parking acomidations, but it is $28 a day for valet. This hotel is very nice and located in a great spot within walking distance of anything you may need.

This place was pretty sick. Bartender was a bit of a dink to be honest but to his defense we came 20 minutes before closing.

For the money it looks a lot better in pictures and from the curb. The room is pretty disappointing, and it's one of those hotels that won't give you damn near a piece of toilet paper without charging you for it.

Good location though.

The hotel has a bar which is a nice apres-ski place.

All-in-all, I feel the price for our room, even considering that we stayed during the off-season, was way too high for the basic type of room we received. There have to be better deals in town.

We booked our 2-night vacation in July here through Priceline (our first experience with purchasing a hotel before you see it). We walked into the lobby and noticed how swazzy and modern it is. Very pleasing.

We were directed up to our room which was a little confusing to get to since it isn't accesible by the elevator. The room is one of the smallest rooms I've ever seen for the price we paid, and it doesn't include any special ammenties: just a king, flat screen tv, and bathroom. Rooms at the Hampton Inn are larger. The Sky Hotel rooms are modern looking, though, with yellow walls and zebra carpets. You can tell the hotel is older and that it has had some aesthetic updates. It is extremely close to the gondola which was a plus.
