Good staff, a little better than most Homewood Suites and they do have a bar which is rare for the brand. There is plenty of parking but because of the many business and Davidson College in the area, sometimes it can be tough to get a room. Reservations are a must.

Nice rooms with a bed that is far better than most hotels. Breakfast is high quality and the happy hour between 5 and 7 is an excellent meeting spot. Great experience and I would highly recommend an extended stay.

Everything about the hotel was great. Our little boy called it his home away from home. Room was always clean and bright. Breakfast hot and many choices. There were even small practice holes for putting outside the hotel. It's also centrally located and a short walk away from a small park with a pond and little playground for kids. If you're in the Lake Norman and Davidson area, this is the place to go.

Nice comfortable rooms, beautiful breakfast/ dining area. Evening snacks and drinks. Very clean and well maintained. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops and Harris Teeter grocery. Nice indoor pool and connected outdoor sitting area. Highly recommend.

Great value, good rooms. Good location. No complaints. I stayed there for 2 weeks with a 2 month old baby in the middle of a move from out of state. The small kitchen, downstairs laundry, and grocery store a Ross the street were life-saving. There was also a great place to walk my poor, cooped up dog.

PROS: We experinced a beautiful, clean room. , nice staff, wonderful bed and pillows (we slept great)! There is a heated indoor pool (no hot tub) and a great fitness center. The complimentary breakfast, during our stay, offered hot grits, corned beef hash, breakfast burritos and bacon. And make your own waffles, etc.
Cold foods included a wide variety of fresh fruit, pastries, cereal, etc. The seating area was nice and the breakfast bar was well staffed. There was something for everyone.

CONS: GPS did not take us to the hotel, but to Harbor Place Marina and restaurant. We thought the hotel was situated near the lake, but instead it sits at the edge of a traffic round-about, with lots of traffic just feet from the rooms. The on ramp for 1-77 is a stones throw from the hotel and there was lots of traffic noise.

We had a wonderful seafood dinner at the marina restaurant which is right on the lake, a few minutes from the hotel. We were there in March and would LOVE to return in the summer!

Had a great stay! Spent the night on our way to Disney. It appeared that our room was upgraded to a suite which was amazing! Great service and a great breakfast! We will be staying there on our way home.

Located just off of I-77, this has been one of my favorite stays. The room was big, comfortable, clean, and the staff was very attentive to needs. The breakfast provided was amazing, I'll definitely come back if I'm ever in the area.

Pretty much your standard experience. The room was homey and the bed just incredibly comfy. Staff was very friendly in my limited interactions. I will say though for some reason the AC was off upon arrival and the room was stuffy - had to immediately pump that up!

Outstanding room! Would be a hands down 5 stars but the breakfast was pretty awful. They didn't even have a waffle maker. For the quality of everything else I expected a lot more from the breakfast.

This Homewood Suites is nice enough even if the design is a bit dated. The service provided by the staff is excellent.

Hotel met expectations, but staff far exceeded them. We were in town for a memorial service for a family member and the guest hospitality manager was extremely generous to our family. They offered room upgrades to help larger families stay more comfortably and even gave us the boardroom suite one night earlier than we reserved since it was unoccupied and provided a good gathering space for the group. Truly the definition of southern hospitality shown to us northerners.

Being sent to Davidson for work training, I had no say in the hotel. However, I was pleasantly surprised throughout my stay. Accommodations were fantastic, staff was very helpful and courteous, and meal services provided were above and beyond expectations. Thank you for a great stay! I will be back in the future, and look forward to it!

I've found this a good place to stay when in the Davidson/Mooresville area. The décor is starting to get a little dated but the rooms are large and the staff is always friendly.

We chose Hilton Davidson as the host hotel for our wedding guests. They were fantastic to work with! Nicolette and her team made sure our guests were well taken care of. The rooms... SO spacious! Not your typical hotel room by any means! They gave us a competitive group rate and were happy to hand out goodie bags to each of our guests as they arrived. We had 22 guest rooms booked, so that was a lot of bags! They even made a nice sign at check-in that said our wedding party name. Everything was nicely organized and we really appreciated their hard work! We had a couple guests arrive that never told them they were with our group. We only made enough goodie bags to cover those that were under our room. The front desk graciously let them select a couple items from their convenience store. Definitely above and beyond!
We hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner at the hotel as well. The open bar went was great and the bar tenders kept up with our plentiful orders. The food and staff working the dinner itself were so gracious and kind! They made you feel special and were great to talk to!
Overall, this place is fantastic and I am happy to recommend them as well as return in the future!

Really, really like this hotel. I will always stay there while in this area. Rooms are H-U-G-E, with nice desks and comfortable beds. Very clean and the kitchen area is very "cute" - not sure if I'd do any serious cooking in there, but having it available for a night in is very convenient. Also, this exit off the interstate is not as busy as the others so traffic is not a concern. 2-3 decent restaurants within walking distance is also a plus.

This is the nicest extended stay hotel I have been stayed in to date. I will look for this brand when travelling for work and pleasure in the future. All the staff I experienced were polite and helpful. The hotel is not brand new but is very nicely up kept. I ate breakfast and dinner in-house most days thanks to the kitchen staff. There was a decent variety of served food and a menu is provided in your room so you can plan meals accordingly. You have the ability to dine in or carry out for the meals they provide and beer and wine are also free each evening. There was a full refrigerator in the room I stayed in and a newer grocery store (Harris Teeter) with easy walking distance so I stocked up on milk and fruit and a few other necessities early in the week. If you choose to eat out, there are 4 places (that I've found this week) that are easy walking distance. Sabi and Subway are directly across the street from the hotel. Just a little bit farther away but still easy walking distance are Char-Grill (a burger and chicken place which I did not try) and Ming's Bistro which I would highly recommend. (I reviewed the restaurants that I visited separately as well.) If you are coming to this hotel on business and you have loved ones (or coworkers for that matter :) that you have promised souvenirs to, you need to either pick gifts up at the airport or rent a car. I did not rent a car and stayed at this hotel with no problem what so ever EXCEPT for the souvenir issue. There is literally no place less than a 40 min roundtrip walk that has anything to purchase that isn't food. A minor problem for sure, and certainly not anything to reflect poorly on the hotel- but I did feel it was worth mentioning. Otherwise, the hotel suggested a transportation from the Charlotte airport to the hotel and everything was walking distance from the hotel from that point, no car needed. I stayed on the 4th floor, not on the street side. My room was very quiet. I used the gym several times and it was very nice with newer machines and fresh towels available. I did not use the pool but it looked clean and sat in a glassed in room that was reminiscent of a patio with tables and chairs. All in all, I felt it was an excellent bargain for the money and I would stay here again any time I was in the area. (Also, anytime I see pictures posted by the owner or management, I am extremely wary that maybe they were taken when the property was first opened or taken professionally with staged lighting for advertisement purposes. I took pictures with the intent to post them and it is totally unnecessary. The beautiful pics you see posted are accurate to what I experienced while staying here.)

I just stayed there for 4 nights and it was very nice. The rooms was spacious and very nicely decorated. The staff was freindly and very helpful. The gym was very nicely maintained and had brand new equipment. It was a short walk to just about anything that Davidson had to offer. I would stay here again for sure.
