Convenient parking garage, very friendly staff from the breakfast bar to the front desk and management team. Had an issue with my toilet and someone was sent up immediately to repair it. This hotel had huge rooms perfect for families! COVID-19 safety measures were top-notch!

Been here during lockdown. I am from out of town and they have done a great job of taking care of me!

My wife in I were in town for a concert and stayed at Home Suites. The best part of the stay was meeting Lisa the lady that did an amazing job with the breakfast area. She was very professional and made our experience the best. I hope that the GM recognizes what a prize they have in her. She as well as the staff is what makes a great experience at any hotel. The room was comfortable and the area felt safe enough for my wife and me. Please give Lisa an encouraging word while you stay. You can't miss her :)

This wasn’t my first visit and because of the impeccable service and selfless acts of the managers and staff during hurricane Michael (& other business trips), it will not be my last. Thank you for accommodating my family and we literally weathered the storm. There was always a kind smile, fresh linen, delicious meals and snacks a plenty. The kitchen staff and cleaning crew were first rate and friendly. Managers were supportive and informative when I had questions regarding my extensions and billing. I know that it’s been a while but once again, Homewood Suites made us feel at home. Thank you again for going above and beyond.

Staff were fantastic. Clean room. Nice breakfast. Quiet atmosphere all around. The sad part about our stay. My son use my laptop the night before, and forgot to pack the mouse (gaming). Around 40 minutes after our check out. We stop to get gasoline, he proceed to get the laptop out the trunk and found out that was left back at the room. We immediately contact the front desk, to notify them about our incident. Upon housekeeping cleaning the room, the item mentioned before wasn't found. I know that we didn't check everything before we left. But to think that this item should have been found immediately at the room, upon cleaning.

We stayed in a large suite with 2 king beds and separate living room. The suite itself was excellent. Very spacious and complete with full fridge and stovetop and sink with dishes and silverware. 1 full tub in master and 1 shower in other bedroom. Hot breakfast was good, kids liked the waffles. Pool was well maintained and great.

My only big complaint (and it's really non-negotiable for us returning) is that the trains went by at night multiple times with their horns, waking us up. Minor complaints include broken closet mirror and the phones being down for a while while I was trying to order room service.

This is a fantastic hotel, and even more so after their recent renovation. However,the trait that truly separates this particular location from it's competition is it's truly excellent staff. Knowledgeable, helpful, courteous, and friendly throughout.

I was pleasantly surprised with my Homewood experienced. Located on the Jacksonville South bank of downtown, the area has much to do but it is not as crowded as the north bank. Also the transient population is also much lower on that side. The hotel is really 2 in 1 with it sharing the. Building with the Hilton Garden Inn. The rooms are nice and comfortable. Tv is directv. Additionally the happy hour includes free beer and wine which is a deal maker. Overall a good place to stay.

Staff was friendly and helpful for the several requests we had. Rooms were nice and spacious and we'll kept. Quick half mile walk straight to the water taxi too.

Hotel was clean, rooms were nice. Linens and bath towels didn't feel cheap and the place is central to both downtown and San Marco. This is a nice option when visiting Jacksonville.

Nice rooms, nice staff, strict no partying signs/policy apparently - according to other folks we talked to. Parking was 10$ a night. Close to downtown and cool place to eat across the street

I can't say enough about Homewood Suites. Every one that I have been to always exceeds expectations. This particular one has a detached garage with easy access to Jacksonvilles Sky Rail system. There is also a heated pool and a very large jacuzzi, both being handicapped accessible. Dinner is served M-Th in the dining hall as well as a delicious breakfast every morning. The suites are always immaculate and the service is far above the rest. Highly recommend

My wife and I really liked this hotel. The room was spotless and we appreciated the Happier Hours promotion of free drinks and snacks. One employee Alex, from kitchen staff I guess, was working very hard to make sure we had all we needed.

Great hotel in staff. The room is very friendly. The breakfast team does a great job serving a variety of products. The hotel is due for renovation. Frankly the hotel is overdue for renovation but I'm glad to see their moving forward with it. Location is handy. Will stay here again

The hot tub Jets were out of service. Freeway noise is present but not that bad. There are railroad trains that go by, horns and bells that will wake you. We were woke twice by those which is about 3 minutes of rumble each. The staff at the counter was nice. Room was excellent. Garage is covered and close to the hotel. There is a pool table... Adding a 🌟 back into the review just for the pool table. Evidently pet friendly.

Good stay for one night business trip. Very friendly staff. Free breakfast and wifi. Free parking in parking garage next door. Hotel is located near train which woke me up several times during the night when blowing its horn. At checkout informed front desk clerk and she apologized and suggested next time I should ask for room in the inner side of building which would not hear train as much. Furniture in room could use some cleaning.

The hotel staff I encountered were amazing and super friendly. They even had complimentary dinner the night I arrived, unfortunately I was about 10 mins to late. The hotel is situated near a few restaurants, which is always a positive. The hotel also offers complimentary breakfast. When I arrived to my room I was surprised by the dirty walls throughout the room. The furniture had lots of stains and I decided it was best not to sit on the couch. The carpet was also pretty stained up. The bathroom was large enough and clean for the most part. One of the beds in the room had blood on the sheets, thankfully it was just me so I picked the other bed. I did not make an issue of this as it was late in the evening and I needed to be up at 6am. The breakfast was decent and the staff working were super friendly. I assume this hotel is on the older side, just by the wear on the room. You also need to pay for parking at 10 dollars per day. Would I stay again? Maybe, if I had to. But surely not my first choice.

Great hotel with a great location. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We traveled with our dog and had no problems. Complimentary breakfast is always a plus.

The room had a beautiful view. We had a great time in the Jacuzzi. The only issue i had was the sewage smell while trying to park my car.

Hotel is South Central of Jacksonville. Free parking garage located right next to the hotel using your room key to access the garage. Rooms are clean, quiet and spacious. All the hotel staff have been extremely professional and friendly. Connected to the Hilton Garden inn conjoined as one building. I was on the 8th floor but the elevators are FAST and open quickly, LOVE the quickness of the elevators. Has a pool, spa, gym with weights, laundry room and food/items pantry. Free dinner Monday through Thursday and free breakfast. The ladies working the breakfast area are the friendliest people I have ever met. Just from my experience at this hotel which I've stayed at twice now, I have a positive view on Jacksonville, Florida.

I had a great experience. I travelled to Jacksonville to watch a preseason NFL football game. The room was clean, bed very comfortable, and you had a very good selection of cable channels. I think I paid extra for it, but the included dinner and free breakfast was nice as well. I will definitely come back again. P.S. For the Football fans, there are shuttles that will take you directly from the hotel to Everfield for the game.

Needed a large room for my bridal party to get ready in. They where more than accommodating and made sure we had a room we could check into at 8 am. Very reasonably priced. I can not say enough on how awesome the staff was on my big day.

Rooms need some updating especially when compared to Residence Inn. The lobby is mice and the breakfast was very good. Staff was excellent. Downside, parking is not free.

Clean and convenient to downtown. Not much around to walk to. Neighborhood doesnt feel safe after dark. Good free food, friendly staff. Signage lacking to actually find where to go once arrived (connected to another hotel). Ten bucks a night to park seems unreasonable, but no other option. Need your room key out to access garage when you leave each morning...when your hands are full with everything else...annoying and not clear why since you can just walk through car drive in door, so it cant be a security issue. Feel like there are more perks to staying here that have yet to be conveyed by staff.

Very spacious inside of the room. Myself, three kids and hubby had a king bed with a sofa let out couch. I didn't give five stars because of the drabby colors in the room which didn't make me feel comfy at all. The bathroom was nice except for a few paint scratches on the walls and ceiling. The night stand had a few scratches as well. For the price I expected more up to date interior designs and close to perfect appearances.

In a good location of Downtown Jacksonville. Nice size room and very clean. Great breakfast. Different varieties every morning. Friendly Staff. Would definitely stay again.

Nice clean room and small but clean and heated pool. In an ok part of town with interesting view.

Very very clean. Large oversized suite with full fridge, dishwasher, stove top burners making extended stays feel like home. Beds are comfortable with extra soft pillows. Pool is large with a hot tub and plenty of chairs and tables to relax and enjoy your visit. Staff is over the top friendly. The breakfast is usually good, except this past stay it was horrible. My favorite is the biscuits and gravy. Within walking distance to dining and shopping. Cheap Uber ride to the arena. Pool table in the lobby. Plan to visit again when visiting Jax

A frequent visitor to this hotel, it never let's me down. The beds are comfortable, the TV is provided by DirecTV so lots of options, and the rooms feature full size fridges, microwaves and hotplates. If you are staying for a while it is a lot like home. Great restaurant options within easy walking distance.

It's a nice place to stay,but will be better if the housekeepers would be required to wear hair nets because there was hair on the edge of the tub and in the shower. But overall it was nice because everytime we called for something they got it to us right away. I'll definitely return and recommend others to stay there.

Room was great. Staff tending to breakfast looked like they would rather have been anywhere else on the planet.

OH MY GGGGG. I love this hotel to deathhhhhhh. I get free food because I'm a celebrity, I own the hotel (not), it is orange friendly, the rooms are very very very very very orange like they have oranges EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!

I loved the rooms. The beds are a little hard but that's is just my preference. The breakfast was great and the pool was very clean.

Im giving this location only a 3 star rating because when we got into our room it had a smell of toilet water. Also the bed pillows were horrible. We woke up with pain in our necks every morning. Now with the bad also comes with good. The room was spacious and very well equiped with all the necessities we could need during our trip. We did have a train pass by in the early hours but the staff had earplugs ready for us in the nightstands. When we complained about the smell in a matter of minutes house keeping came to fix the problem , he was super nice. Over all very friendly staff and great location. Unfortunately because of the uncomfortable pillows we probably wont return for the price we paid.

The staff is like family. We spent almost 2 months here while my husband had proton therapy at UFPTI. If we ever told the staff of any concerns, they promptly took care of them. We feel like this is a home away from home and stay here whenever we come back to Jacksonville.

I have an upcoming reservation, but I just had to say what an outstanding experience I have had so far. I was leery about a reservation I had with another hotel and after speaking with Demetrius at Homewood, I immediately booked with him and cancelled the other. He has been over the top gracious and accommodating. In this fast-paced world, he is a rarity. He was very patient with me and answered all my questions. Kudos to Homewood Suites for having such a great guy on board!

The reason why i dont give 5 stars is because its pets friendly which i thought they do not allow pets, and the other reason is because they allow bikers to park at the entrance of the hotel, so all night till 1am i have to deal with the noise of the bikes and their loud music, otherwise was ok

The hotel is located in the San Marco area. There's a Hilton Garden Inn right next to it and they both share a parking lot, for which you have to pay $10 and I wasn't informed of the fee during check-in. We requested a baby bed and they've provided although we booked the hotel a couple of hours before arriving. The room was clean but the suite is not as big as the pictures might show. It is a big room compared to normal rooms. Amenities are very basic like soap, shampoo, and lotion. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, microwave, and dishes. There's a small table right next to the kitchen area. In general it's a good one and the price is not bad at all.
