Great place to stay. The employees are really nice but with everything that's happening a lot of the amenities aren't available.

There was no turn down service unless you were staying 5 days and this was not mentioned untill half way through our stay. We stayed 4 nights and there were towels and trash piled because they wouldn't come get it. The hotel over all was clean and the beds were comfortable but I wish we knew about the turn down service before hand.

Awesome! Dzenita at the front desk is a pleasure to be around. Always had a smile and hello when she saw us. Very clean and nice hotel. Look forward to staying there again.

We were suppose to stay for a night because I am not wanting to go home. We have been here for 3 days probably are not going home until the weekend. This place is very nice! I am a picky person but for the price it is awesome. We paid a lot less then we did at the Godfrey and the room is much nicer.

Staff was awesome! Breakfast was phenomenal. Happy hour was pretty neat. The gym could use improvement. And the wifi was non-existent so I was unable to work unless I used my own personal hotspot.

Worked perfectly for our needs, 2 kids and wife and I stayed one night on the way south. Convenient location, close to highway, but quiet.
Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Definitely met the Hilton standard.
Kids loved the breakfast.
I can recommend staying at this hotel.

Staying here on a business trip, hotel is located right off the I-75 and couldn't be easier to find. The rooms are fully equipped for my stay with refrigerator, stove, microwave, pots, and silverware. The bed is very comfortable and the room has a spereate living area with tv and couch. All the staff has been very courteous and friendly. They offer breakfast in the morning and in the evening they have a small dinner. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.

Very nice hotel! They were willing to welcome myself and my two cats in an of situation. Be aware though, their pet tolerance involves an additional $100.00 fee. They notified me of the fee, but we're not forward about the actual cost.

Wifi did not work in room for all guests. Not enough towels for all guests. Room slept 6. Towels were not replenished after first day's cleaning. Breakfast was pretty good. Daughters loved the pool.

Great place and the full hot breakfast was very good. We had a suite since there were 8 of us and we had plenty of room! Definitely will stay again!

We always have a great experience when we stay at Hilton properties. The service at the front desk was wonderful. Everyone we spoke to was very polite and friendly. Check-in and check-out was quick and easy. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable, the pillows were divine! Great location in Brandon. Close to lots of restaurants and entertainment. Walking distance to Dave and Busters!

Great room. Not a great location. Unpleasant staff

We had a house fire in September of 2017, we needed a place to stay our insurance company set us up here and we couldn’t be happier. Elizabeth especially made our experience very good. Every morning we went down to get breakfast and there she was greeting everybody with a smile and talking to everyone making sure they where ok and were comfortable.

Elizabeth is amazing, she speak perfect Spanish. We came driving from CT (20 hours trip, we are a family of 5. Mom, dad and 3 kids.) We were clueless where to stay and my wife choose this hotel because it was the most inexpensive one at $169 per night. When we arrived at 1 AM the service was great and the next morning we met Elizabeth who explained to us a lot of the places to visit and enjoy like iFLY and a few others plus she gave us a couple of booklets to learn more about what else to do here in Tampa. Thank you very much Elizabeth, you made our stay super awesome.

The room was standard and had everything I needed. I enjoyed the spacious, stand up shower. The room was super warm when I checked in, and took well over an hour to cool down. The hallway outside the room also had a smell akin to spoiled milk.

Decent spot for a work meeting. Not as many ground floor amenities as other hotels we've done meetings at (vending machines, coffee, etc). Biggest issue was men's bathroom had only one urinal and one stall. Every time we took a break most of it was spent waiting to pee. Overall, it was clean, staff was friendly and it was easy to find.

Clean room, convenient location, breakfast not so good

The size of the room was fantastic, we had a suite with two queen beds and a sofa sleeper. You could have probably blown up a queen air mattress in the bedroom. The kitchen had full size appliances. Overall lovely presentation.

However, there's no mechanism on the suite door to slow it down so it always slammed to a close, which was particularly troublesome for people sleeping in the bedroom who were woken every time someone came in or out. The bathroom can only be accessed through the bedroom, so it made sharing a room slightly awkward.

But the reason they get 2 stars is our toilet didn't flush properly, which we discovered after returning from a wedding in the middle of the night. I went down to the front desk and asked if they could "send someone up with a plunger" - and about 15 minutes later there was a knock and a guy handed me the plunger despite my obvious distress bc I thought my request was a bit obvious in that I expected the person bringing the plunger up to handle the situation. Fortunately I was sharing a room with a guy who was willing to plunge the toilet, but this is a huge fail in my book. We later heard we were not the only group from the wedding who had a clogged toilet which leads me to the conclusion that this isn't an isolated incident.

Not a bad place. We have stayed in other Homewood Suites with the exact same layout as this room so you shouldn't be surprised with your stay if you are familiar with the brand. We got a great rate when they matched over the phone the price we were given by our Verizon Hum app.

The hotel itself was very nice. The parking was plentiful, free, and open. The hotel additionally provided free food for breakfast and dinner, as well as a free happy hour. With regards to the the room itself, it was very nice. Plenty of room, comfortable furnishings, and a king bed that was like sleeping on a cloud.

I was greeted well and got upgraded due to lack of rooms available for what I requested. Ended up in a beautiful suite that was super comfortable. I got in late and didn't want to go out to dinner, and fortunately they had a good selection of frozen meals to purchase in their vending area. Breakfast was included with my stay, and I was pleasantly surprised by waffles, eggs and sausage, oatmeal, yogurt and fresh fruit.

Location is easily accessible. Nice outside area for sitting and another area for using the pool. Receptionist, Rose, at the front desk is super sweet. The rooms are nice and clean, the suite I stayed in has a small kitchen and living room area and a door to the bedroom sleeping area. Complimentary breakfast and nice dining area. Also has a nice gym as well but the phone in the room doesn't work.

Me and my wife just stayed at the Homewood suites in Brandon Florida during hurricane Irma. The staff was awesome. They made sure we that we were comfortable and safe . Good job guys. Thank you for all you did for me and my family

We like to stay here whenever we come to Tampa, because the staff are so nice, and the rooms are great! Really big, with a sitting room and kitchenette, and the beds are comfy! Love staying here!

This is a nice place. The service was great. We really loved the fact that they had bags for when we walked our beloved canine, Snoopy. The ice machine had plenty of really cold ice. The elevators were lit up with bright lights. We would definitely visit again.

Quite, clean and friendly staff.. what else do you need? Maybe little better breakfast. It's good but same as Hampton inn good I don't know why but I was hoping for better. Either way we lived it here and definitely will return soon.

Stayed here on business. Beautiful hotel. Nice pool and basketball court. Great breakfast and the social evening with free beer and wine was awesome. The dishwasher leaked, and the maintenance guy had it fixed in about 10 minutes. Awesome hotel.

Rooms were spacious and clean. The food served in lobby was awful. If you're booking this particular location just because of the included meals, book elsewhere. There are however lots of dining options nearby.

Very accommodating for a family. My son loved this "no-tel" and was sad when we had to go home.

Stayed here for a few nights when our house flooded. Prices were good. Rooms were clean. Veronica at the desk is great help. Bed is a bit springy for our taste but comfy. Shower head could lose the restrictor for better flow/pressure, but we'll enough. Would stay again. Would recommend.

Great stay. Purchased two nights in a suite. 5 people -> 2 doubles and a pull out couch. Fit comfortable/almost roomy. Hotel management amicable and responsive. Continental breakfast as you would expect. Staff takes care to provide a clean and comfortable stay. Would recommend.

Great location. Staff is very nice and accommodating. Hotel is a bit outdated, but most clients are here for work, not pleasure so this fits the bill.

We stayed 2 nights in the 1 bedroom suites. The rooms were clean and very modern. A cooktop, refrigerator and microwave were in each room. A king size bed in the bedroom and a pull out sofa. The hot breakfast was good with waffles, eggs, sausage, fruit, cereal, juice and coffee. I had an issue with check-in because I booked through Expedia, but management honored all the rates and the issue was resolved. Great location! Shopping Mall and restaurants right down the street!

Rooms were very clean and the staff is super accommodating! The morning breakfast has a nice variety and is filling. There was also a happy hour with food and wine which is unexpected and very nice. There is a pool and basketball court, pool is a little noisy because it is next to the highway but you cannot hear highway from inside hotel. Dog friendly, convenient location, will definitely stay here again.

This is a good hotel if you're traveling with a large group or family. There is a large area with complimentary breakfast, and appetizers most evenings. The rooms and bathrooms are very large, with a well appointed kitchenette area including full size refrigerator, cook top, microwave, sink and eating area.

Friendly staff nice quiet and cozy, definitely quaint, just over all and nice quiet and peaceful place to rest, it's soo peaceful I over slept thru my 4 alarms by 3 hours.

When we were displaced for a week because of a flood, this place was our home.

The staff were all extremely kind and accommodating and housekeeping was incredible. I felt bad that they visited every day since we stayed a whole week in the efficiency suite but they really outdid themselves. (Even nicely arranging/straightening our toiletries while at work. Lol)

We didn't have any dish soap to wash dishes and they hooked us up with a little bottle of Palmolive and a couple extra hand towels and dish rags. It was the most comfortable we could have been without actually being at home.

Wifi was good, noise level was good and the location was very convenient. Parking lot is well lit and we never felt unsafe at all.

The oooooooooonly teeny tiny complaint was that they don't have AMC. Lol So no walking dead. (Which is my problem not theirs!)

Oh also, there are a lot of places that deliver food close by and they give you a lot of menus which is convenient too.

This hotel has been great for us. Near wide open spaces for us to walk the dog. The breakfast selection is nice but it ends at 9:30 which can be a bit early when on leisure. Overall a good experience.

Kitchenette was disappointing. Room was OK but small. Cleanliness was fair. No all day coffee, which surprised me.

As a weekly business traveler, small things that we take for granted at home are not always easily accessible on the road.
Christine Portera reached out to me after a week long stay last month and I told her all was well, just wished I had access to a fresh drinking water source near room.
I came back on business and what may seem little to most folks made my day.
Christine, Anthony and there team had stocked the refrigerator in my room before my arrival and of course had snacks upon checking in.
Personalized customer catering no matter how big or small goes a long way. Hilton Honors and this Homewood location will be my choice at every stay in Tampa.

Besides a crappy check-in where we had already checked in earlier in the day online but arrived to be told that they made a mistake and would need twenty minutes to correct it before we could go to our room, everything is OK.

I've been here a few times and it is a great, quiet hotel. Room was clean upon arrival and the staff was very helpful. The hotel also has great amenities, but it does get crowded during breakfast when food constantly runs out. Overall, the stay was nice.

The bed was very comfortable, but breakfast was spotty. 3rd shift front desk help was very poor.

The rooms are pretty good, and some of them have a bathtub, which is nice.

They recently changed the water filter so whenever you use soap you get a slimy feeling that it's hard to rub off.

This hotel is very clean and elegant. Up keep is very thorough. The gentleman who worked the front desk at night was very attentive and helpful. I think his name was Ernest, I only glanced at his name tag. Overall I enjoyed my stay here.
