Staff was very nice. Extremely short staffed. I had twp rooms that were not cleaned all weekend. Management did a 100% comp to accommodate the lack of service.

Overall: disappointing and I’d not return here with so many other nearby options to leverage. A few minor changes and this could be a fine place to stay.

Good things: beds are cozy, refrigerator is cold, kitchen area is ample size, quiet neighbors, great location, decent breakfast, beer on tap, lobby clean.

Bad things: outdoor lounge area was filthy for days, outdoor trash cans rarely emptied, night shift guy parks his car in the check-in loop, no stock in the little store for two of our three days here, one medium glass and nine small shot size glasses in our cupboard, day staff parked in front of building, pool was about 90 degrees, shower didn’t drain (calf high after a short shower) and no one fixed it after asking for repair four times, cleaning staff cursing in hallways.

Lessons learned: getting in a hot tub before getting in a too-warm pool makes it feel normal and slightly refreshing. Filling a bath for your wife with your dirty shower water does not make her want to take a bath. The night desk guys car is more important than guests checking in. My kids have already heard and understand words I wish they did not.

Staff was friendly and professional. The breakfast was a little lack luster but over all I really enjoyed my 1 night stay. Beds were clean and room was modern. Water pressure was abysmal but it got at least hot in the shower.

The rooms were nice but definitely dated. The carpet could be replaced. I did enjoy the gas fire in our room and sitting area. The pool area was large and also offered a hot tub. The fitness center is quite small but it had a 2 treadmills and some free weights. There was a free continental breakfast that was small but nice.

The rooms were great however at the time the staffing was low so the clean time was very slow. The only issue I had was when we checked out. Instead of the young lady at the desk listening when she was told who's card to add the room onto she did what she wanted and caused a multitude of issues. When I called to inform the supervisor they fixed the issue speedily. Other than that my stay was awesome. Good location to where food and shopping was.

We travelled with our 10 month old daughter and it was perfect because all the rooms were suites. They even upgraded us to a two bedroom suite so we were able to setup her pack n play in the one bedroom. A few things were not perfect, the carpets were in need of a vacuuming since we found a flosser on the carpet. Also, the tub was full of pubes and needed a cleaning before I bathed my baby. Breakfast was great and staff were very accommodating.

We had a fire in our home.the suites are very nice. This will be home until our damage to our home is fixed and able to live there again .

This hotel is currently undergoing renovations. They are updating the carpet in the corridors. The new look is very pleasant. The suite I stayed in was roomy and comfortable and included a mini-kitchen. Breakfast is served from 7-9am and had many options including hot food, DIY waffles, and continental fare.

Let us start with the good shall we. Spacious rooms and bathrooms. Stayed in a two bedroom, two bathroom suite. Breakfast was good with lots of choices. Weekday evening meal was okay and nice not having to go out. Now the bad. Carpet was worn and ripped, rooms and bathrooms not clean enough. TV guide sheets were dirty, wood tray broken, stain on office chair, and fireplace only allows for it to be turned on for 15 minutes at a time. Needs major updating and cleaning in the rooms.

Good hotel for families, having a separate bedroom helps for getting young kids to sleep. For being nearly full when we were there, it was very quiet. Good breakfast options, kids love the pool.

Great overnight stay. We arrived late at night but were still met with a smile from the front desk. Clean, spacious suite with some extra free treats included too. We'd definitely stay there again.

The location is great, near several stores and restaurants. The staff is very accommodating and the breakfast was much better than your typical hotel breakfast. The room is very nice as well.

All of the Staff from the front desk, preparing breakfast, and the cleaning staff were wonderful and super friendly. Everyone always had a smile on their face and were happy to help in anyway they could. The rooms were very clean and a nice size. When I travel I will always look to see if there is a Homewood Suites in the area before I book anywhere else from now.

Solid Homewood Suites property. Evident that it is very pet friendly. Property in good shape although could use some updating. Needs a little more attention to breakfast, including food selection and preparation as well as closing off service area from dining room.

Stayed there once before, prompting us to stay again. Wonderful room, very clean and well maintained. Coffee bar at the front is a plus and breakfast is great! We look forward to staying again.

Located in Maumee right off the 90 interstate freeway. All rooms are suites with a living room and small kitchen. Very clean and friendly staff. Brought my dog, the only fall back is there non refundable pet fee of $125.

Loved the room set up; we traveled across country and stayed in a couple hotels and this one was actually our favorite. We only stayed for the one night, but I wish every hotel was this comfortable.

Staff -was friendly & helpful. Room -2 room/bath suite - clean, large and comfortable. Timed Fireplace could use a longer timer as it is annoying to get up and turn it on again just to relax and read a book. Bathroom supplies were acceptable and the La Fresh make-up remover wipes are the best. We were missing hand soap and dish soap for kitchen. Breakfast was very well done and delicious options! Only real downside was elevator. Small, narrow and awkward to get into with luggage cart due to wall in way. What is it with hotel designers? Can they not figure out that elevators need to be VERY accessible with full size door?. Only cart and two people can SQUEEZE in. We would have to wait for it again if other people were on it. As is maybe consider carts with FOUR swivel tires for easier maneuvering.

Room was comfortable and we'll kept. Outside door to the hallway never locked which seemed a bit unsafe. We would stay there again if traveling through the area.

Friendly staff, good rooms. The new bathroom lights take minutes to fully turn on. The bathroom is dark at first, it seems the light is broken. Otherwise its good.

Quite possibly the best Homewood Suites I have ever stayed at. Clean, quiet, and with a courteous staff. Will look to stay here again on business.

Our first trip to Ohio was last week for our grandson's graduation. While we were in Ohio we stayed at the Homewood Suites in Maumee. I would like to say thank you to everyone that works there you all were polite, friendly, and made us feel welcomed. Special thanks to Brian for making the stay possible. The hotel is very well taken care of and the housekeeping does an exceptional job the room was clean and organized it had everything you needed in the room. You really do feel like you are at home. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that is planning a trip to the Toledo-Maumee area. Our stay was truly amazing hope to come back again in the near future. Sincerely Steve and Twyla Studanski

This is a great hotel for business travelers and families alike. We stayed in it over the holiday with our 1 year old son, and the atmosphere, setup, breakfast, and customer service were all TOP NOTCH. Would stay again in a heartbeat! And, this stay made us seek out other Homewood Suites on the journey. Thank you!
P.S. No water pressure issues for us like was mentioned by other reviewers.
