We went to this hotel for a night in Charlotte with friends for a Valentine’s Day celebration. My friend paid for our rooms online ahead of time. When we tried to check in, we discovered there was a slight problem because the online site had not sent the new code after we switched from Friday night to Saturday. The girls at the desk were wonderful and said it was not our fault and they would handle it and sent us to our rooms. The hotel is very clean and the room was a nice size. The bed was comfortable. I did not like our pillows. We had a king size bed and each had a standard size pillow that was not comfortable. My friends next door had nice pillows so it seems ours had probably been out there by mistake at some point. The 7th floor has an outdoor heated pool that’s handicap accessible. They have a smoking section for guests and an outdoor propane fire in o help warm patrons. There’s a beautiful bar on first level. The price was very good for this room. We’ve stayed in higher end hotels and this was a better experience than some. Will definitely come back.

Overall the hotel is very conveniently located, and the rooms are very nice. The staff is so nice and welcoming. It would be nice if they added at least 2 bottles of water per room. Other than that, our experience was a good one.

Hyatt Houses across the country are on to something. Great ambiance and feel to the decor, great rooms with kitchens, good price. My last 3 stays, and frustrations with Hilton Honors, have me enjoying Hyatt like a breath of fresh air.

Charlotte fit the bill perfectly. Up early for flights, the hotel staff was kind and helpful, offered my kids some hot chocolate to go (frigid morning)... super customer service. I appreciate that! Well done Hyatt House.

I stayed here for one night for an event at the Spectrum Center. The 1-bedroom suite was spacious, modern, and clean. The front desk staff was very nice. I appreciate that they offered complimentary breakfast (including made-to-order omelets), which seems to be uncommon at nearby hotels. There is no option for free parking, but the parking lot directly across the street had overnight parking for $15, which was $12 cheaper than the parking garage. I would stay here again.

A fantastic hotel with a fantastic staff.

The hotel accommodated our late check in and Michael, at the front desk, was extremely welcoming, pleasant and helpful, as much as anyone could ask for.

Since the hotel is downtown so they provide complimentary valet parking, which is very helpful!

The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable and it was immaculately cleaned. There was a nice view of downtown Charlotte from our window as well.

Although it was closed, there was an awesome pool deck about halfway up the hotel building. Would be a great place to hang during summer months!

The breakfast was the best, and I mean BEST hotel breakfast I can remember and they serve till 10am on the weekends! The scrambled eggs were REAL eggs! Everything was prepared with actual care to quality of the food. They even had a build your own omelette bar. Again, the staff working breakfast were all friendly and working very hard to provide the guests with a great experience.

No question, we’ll be back.

This is a pretty hotel. I was there for a training.. The facility was very nice clean. The food sucked and the dishes weren't clean. I probably wouldn't recommend it for training or conferences. I also don't like that it's across from the bus station. You come out and are surrounded by beggers, vagrants and the like. Staff that I met were friendly and nice. I rate a 3 stars.. Nothing exceptional but nice.

My first day the shower water was cold. They sent a tech, and he supposedly got the water to 105. I tried again, cold again. As it turns out if you're on the 15th floor, let the shower run for 5 full minutes and it will warm up. The food was excellent. The chicken sandwich with avocado was fantastic. The bar staff is very nice too. In all a good, but flawed experience.

Enjoyed staying at the Hyatt House, rooms were very clean and neat. The king studio had plenty of space and was comfortable. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Convenient location to get anywhere downtown. I would stay again if back in Charlotte.

This hotel is located within walking distance of the epicenter and only a $6 uber ride to the amphitheatre. Everyone who works in the hotel was amazing and helpful. The room was beautiful. You have to use your key card for the elevator and your room which made me feel safer. All in all, it was a really nice stay. And free breakfast in the morning! :)

Great stay! Nice rooms, quiet, great lobby and the continental breakfast is excellent. Staff is warm and down to earth. Nick and Drew, the valets were especially helpful. Hopefully, we will be returning.

This was my second time at Hyatt House Charlotte Center City and once again it was great. They are consistent with the service they provide. The front desk clerk was friendly and when I got in the elevator, another person on the staff spoke to me immediately and said to let them know if I needed anything. The room itself was great...clean, modern, the bed was comfortable and I got a great night of sleep...even with my room being right by the elevator, it was still super quiet. The food from the bar was good and the prices were reasonable. The free breakfast was impressive too...bacon, eggs, and an omelet station. Positive experience all around...I would stay again.

Amazing!! The location is right beside the Hornet's Stadium and the Epicenter. I couldn't have picked a better location. The staff was very helpful and polite and my room was clean and I loved the layout. The breakfast was probably one of the best I've ever had at a hotel! They make customized omelettes that are so good and the cook was very friendly! I loved everything about this hotel and will be back!

The staff is very friendly. The pool is great!! The fitness room is very nice and clean. It's very spacious. There are many things within walking distance. There a library that is free close by that my kids love. Also try to children's museum this can be an all day event. Also the black history museum has a great scavenger hunt for the kids.

This place was really nice... big showers ( for two 👍) the bed sucked comfort wise but the room was nice size w/ cozy bathroom, kitchen nook all in one. Coffee maker didn't work either but full kitchen of all other appliances and little desk. Very cute

By far the best experience I've every had in a hotel. Extraordinarily clean, polite, and respectful. My friends and I were treated like royalty the whole time. Two employees who stood out the most is Andre and Verna, who went above and beyond with their service and kindness. Definitely my new favorite hotel.

Our client Ron Herron is a heavily touring entertainer, and he knows what it takes to be a top-notch property like this one. The rooms, and property are very well decorated and clean. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and very knowledgeable about the area. There is a free breakfast in the morning, and a very nice rooftop bar/restaurant to enjoy if you have an evening to relax (as a touring performer, this is very rare.) Thank you for taking such great care of our client, and we're already looking forward to booking more stays in the future!

Awesome hotel right next door to the Spectrum Arena. Great clean modern rooms and a super friendly staff. Great complimentary hot breakfast with made to order omelettes. Full restaurant and bar. Very kid friendly.

Loved staying here! The staff was friendly and our room was very nice and clean. They do have valet parking that is 26 for over night parking so if you don't like that, you may want to consider looking for off sight parking. I did order some buffalo wings through room service during my stay and they were delicious. They weren't too hot and they were crispy. I would definitely stay here again!

The rooms are huge and expertly decorated. Everyone I encountered was friendly from the valet staff to the front desk to the bar. I disliked the fact the valet parking is mandatory. Sometimes I just want to grab my own Damn car and not wait not to mention I was running in and out a bit. I also disliked there only being 1 set of elevators. Guests were constantly crammed in and if not too many people then it was trash bins or cleaning carts as staff didn't have a separate elevator.

Rooms aren't really very soundproof - could hear every time anyone opened or closed doors anywhere nearby so clearly that I actually got out of bed once thinking someone had entered the room. Forced to use valet, which is relatively minor until you consider the steep required fee of $26/day. Included breakfast is pretty nice, hot and cold options. Comfortable beds. Pretty nice location with reasonable walking access to downtown.

Beautiful hotel. Breakfast was goooood. Lady making omelettes, the best. The only gripe was the $26 a day parking. Have stayed at other hotels for volleyball tournaments and the reduced parking fees. Otherwise I would give a 5 plus because I have no complaints.

We have our office Christmas party here every year. We keep coming back because Hyatt House does an outstanding job with everything. They make it an enjoyable night without any worries!

The location is great, and the higher floors give a good view of the Charlotte skyline. I appreciated the thoughtful design of the bathrooms (good lighting for putting on makeup, small trash can by the toilet as well as under the sink) and the bed seemed new. Breakfast was quite good and the staff were all very friendly and accommodating.

This hotel was absolutely incredible. Everyone in our group got the best night of sleep we had in a long time. The rooms were spotless and the building seems close to brand new. It’s centrally located in the downtown area, with loads of shopping and food nearby. Great for business travel, as it is very close off the interstate. The food service and lobby area are very chic. We also eyeballed the rooftop pool, which looked awesome but a little too cold outside to take a dip. Hotel staff were also courteous and welcoming, making sure to get us swiftly in our beds after checking in late at night. Don’t second guess yourself on this hotel, 10/10 recommend.

Stayed for 3 days. Not a single problem. Service was perfect. Food was great. And accommodations were clean and comfortable.

Great place to stay!! Staff is friendly and very helpful. Rooms are very spacious and clean and there is a 24 hour Gym. Parking can be a little tricky in the area but the hotel does offer parking for $26. They also have a great breakfast. This location is located about 15-20 minutes from the airport.

If you love southern hospitality then this is the temporary stay for you! I don't remember the younger lady at the front desk name, however, her kindness and attentiveness were unmatched to any experience I've had yet staying overnight somewhere. The breakfast in the morning was hot, fresh, and so tasty; it was the perfect start to my busy work day. The room I stayed in was extremely clean and very cozy. Overall I will be a returning guest based off this experience.

My husband and I always stay here when we come to town because of the excellent service and friendly staff. The property is beautiful, exceptionally maintained, and very convenient to anywhere we want to go but truthfully, it's the people that make the experience. All of the staff we've encountered are first class and make you feel right at home. We can't wait to come back!

Great location in the uptown charlotte area. The breakfast is really good and the staff was really nice. The room was nice and very clean with a nice view of the city. My only complaint was my iron wasn't working and by the time I got another one it was time to leave to go to my event. I also hate that I have to pay for parking. Other than that great experience and ill be back.

Next time my family visits Charlotte, this is where we will stay! Customer service was impeccable! Food was hot and good all the time. The entire staff....no matter what time we came in and out, greeted us with smiles daily. A young lady who was always on our floor, her name is Jawana....she is amazingly nice and kept us with any and everything we needed. Again, we WILL be back!!!!

I attended a training program at Hyatt House. The staff was very courteous from the valet to the event staff and the property is well maintained. One member of the staff well exceeded my expectations. Her name is Monique and she serviced our training class for three days. Monique is very customer service oriented, has an infectious smile and personality. She addressed any and all concerns, no matter how small, with professionalism and grace. I looked forward to interacting with her each day. You have quite a GEM in Monique!

This is a nice hotel in the heart of Charlotte. It is close to the Metro Credit Union Ampitheater which was the main reason for our visit. It has attractive, clean rooms with a very comfy bed. And the free breakfast was really wonderful. The reason I did not give a 5 star rating is because the parking is $26 a day extra fee and the pool is super small. Also, there was no fan in our bathroom. Lastly, the desk attendent when we first checked in did not provide any information that was not requested.

Passing through Charlotte, we made a last minute decision to stay the night after finding a good rate. This is a great location and we got a room on the top floor with a terrific view of the city. The staff were professional and accommodating. Our room was clean and nicely decorated/layed-out. The complimentary hot breakfast was fair (though, we didn't take advantage of the omelette station). Valet service was prompt. This will be my first consideration if I'm ever back in Charlotte.

Centrally located to downtown, excellent service, immaculate room, & full-service breakfast included. Wasn't informed in advance that there was no on-site parking except for valet service for $26 per day (billed to the room), although after being in the city, I realized that it's the cheapest way to go since every block has a parking lot or garage that costs & not all are daily rates but hourly or half day. So that price for valet service is worth it but you should think of it as adding to the cost of the room rate.

I've stayed at a bunch of Hyatt House, Place, and Townplace suite hotels recently and this one is the most upscale. For the price I didn't expect to be staying in such a posh hotel.

Located in the heart of Downtown Charlotte, this hotel had everything I needed for my stay. Including a pool deck. It was a great place to unwind during the day.

My room was huge and included a full fridge. The bathroom also included a roomy shower stall.

I recommend this hotel to anyone staying in downtown Charlotte.

Beautiful and clean location. I was visiting family who stayed there. My nephew stays here every time he comes to town for work. He loves it and the staff. It's a great location and close to everything. You are next door to Hornets arena and a block away from the Epicentre which has dining, bars, a bowling alley & the movie theater. You are also a short walk to the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center. I love this place. It's beautiful and spotless.

Comfy beds. Good service. Rooms were a bit small for the price. In-room luxuries, like television, left some room for improvement. I understand prices will be cheaper based on it's central location however I didn't feel it was proportional to the end product you receive.

Loved this place. The breakfast was top notch. Like the elevator only working with a key. The room was normal. The only thing I did not like, but most will love, is valet parking only. Guess it is cool. No worries of people parking to close to you. Also safer. I just like the freedom to park and leave.

Right in the thick of downtown with easy access to plenty nearby activities. Staff was sweet, the room was pretty large, and I'll be back here for sure! Thumbs up for Hyatt House and all they provided!

Nice location, good restaurants, convenient. A Whole Foods is within walking distance. Rooms were clean - toilet paper was in a strange place that made it difficult to reach. The breakfast was standard and well presented. It seemed that small groups commandeered the breakfast/lounge area during the afternoons and evenings. This was not considerate of guests who may be looking for large common areas to hang out or do work.

Very clean, comfortable room. FAST, secure elevator. Very courteous staff. Brief, late-night hallway noise before other guests entered their rooms, no problem. Centrally located downtown, walking distance to most places.

Great Location -- Close to the "happenings" in uptown of city. My husband and I really enjoyed the comfort of our King/Suite. We initially did not think we would use the full kitchen, but was really pleased we selected this room. The rooms were clean. Really like the safety of the hotel -- need access card to ride elevator to room. Also, the breakfast was superb -- really, really good. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Oh. Need to mention -- valet parking in garage is expensive -- $26.00 on our visit. There is ample parking surrounding hotel, but we chose to go with convenience. You pay for what you get. Already planning to stay there again on our next visit real soon.

This place was gorgeous. Very clean and the room smelled amazing. The restaurant in the hotel was very good and reasonable. Valet parking was good and handy but make sure you got everything out of your car. I left something in the trunk and was unable myself to go get it. However the valet did run up into the garage and retrieve my items. Overall loved this place

I visited the Hyatt House in Charlotte for a business meeting and workshop. The furniture, decor and amenities were very well maintained. Their choice in hotel personnel upholds the professional standards in the hospitality industry. The staff was very polite, I had little to no trouble making my way around, you're going to get A + service even if your not a guest. You'll be drawn to its charm and sophistication. The view from the upper floors is fantastic. Would love to visit again for the spa treatment.

I stayed at the Hyatt House for a business meeting. Overall the hotel is very nice. The food was good. Of all the things I had, I really enjoyed the triple cream mashed potatoes, tomato bisque and cheese grits. Those are awesome! Matt the bartender is great and Monique is fantastic to work with there. The room is more than...

We had a great experience. Mattress was a little lumpy but the breakfast was awesome. Bacon, sausage, eggs, omlets, potatoes cheese grits, breads and juice - coffee. The rooms were very nice and modern. Polite staff in Charlotte

I have been to both the Hyatt locations in uptown Charlotte - Hyatt House and Hyatt place on different occasions. Both sre very close to the city center. Stayed a night at Hyatt place cheaper than luxury yet very chic and place with a great breakfast service free for guests staying overnight. At Hyatt House it was an office party, was pleased with the service. It has got a nice bar on the first floor.

Awesome hotel, this is the place to stay when you are in Charlotte! Breakfast is killer, rooms are very new, super clean and the staff was great! The bar stays open late and has a great selection.

Location location location! It doesn't get much better than the Hyatt House Charlotte. Loved being in the middle of the city on a gorgeous October night. I spent hours sitting out on the rooftop patio surrounding the pool and walking around the Uptown area. Everyone from the valet to the check-in staff were incredibly professional and helpful. Hotel had a very modern and hip vibe. Room was large and comfortable. I slept better than I have in a while. The breakfast bar was incredible. I ate way too much bacon. Overall experience felt vary first class. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotels like this set the standard for all others. Clean , Modern , Kind and Professional staff. Valet attendants are professional and offer prompt service. Breakfast is excellent, great value ! The hotel is obviously well managed and maintained. I will return!

My family and I do a lot of weekend getaways and we stay in a lot of hotels. Hyatt House charlotte is in the upper tier of what I like to call midrange hotels. Midrange meaning not a mom and pop spot at the low end of things and not a super high end that goes for $400 + a Night. The staff was great the room was clean and the entire hotel had a pleasant updated look. We will gladly stay here again.

The beds were huge and comfortable. The staff was extremely accommodating. There was a great 24 hour gym and rooftop pool. We didn't have the best view, but it's right in the heart of uptown Charlotte and within walking distance of tons of cool bars and restaurants including Time Warner Cable Arena. The breakfast was amazing and the whole atmosphere was fun and elegant. I most liked that room keys are required for the elevators. Great security feature! I definitely recommend this to weary travelers or locals that want a fun night on the town with an affordable crash spot after that still feels swanky.

Great room, great amenities, and a wonderful staff!

We stayed here before a few years ago, and we were happy enough to stay again when the opportunity arrived.

I only have a few small gripes. Lunchtime room service is not available, I'd really like to just get a sandwich midday, but with services like Postmates, this isn't much of a concern.

The only other problem is that we got the same level of room this time as we did last time, but for some reason, we didn't have a balcony this time. It's not a huge huge deal, but that should have been clearer.

Overall, great place that I'd highly recommend!

I loved this place! One of my best hotel experiences yet. Everyone that worked there was so overwhelmingly friendly and welcoming. Even riding the elevator, a staff member asked if there was anything they could do to improve my stay. They have a great hotel bar, and the hotel itself is in a perfect location within walking distance of everything in downtown Charlotte. The room was very comfortable and big too. And they have walk in showers! I love that!

Front staff very friendly.. Ordered room service multiple times and they were super quick... Finished the night off at the bar and enjoyed two of their signature cocktails.. I'd recommend the mango martini... Overall it was an excellent stay in the heart of charlotte

Great Location and Good interior. Front desk can be more friendly with repeat or long term customers and House keeping can be a LOT better. Wireless connectivity is pretty average.

Great hotel in Uptown with a reasonable price. Clean everywhere and the room was well designed and decorated. Staff was all friendly and helpful. H Bar in the lobby was a nice last stop for the evening with friendly bartenders and good prices.

The Hyatt House in Charlotte, NC is a really nice place to stay. The room is quiet, clean and very contemporary. There is neat art all around, and this is one of the fancier places I’ve stayed. If you’re worried about staying down town, this place feels really safe. They have a fantastic breakfast where you can have custom made omlettes and there is a bar in the hotel. Not just that, it’s only about 2 blocks from plenty of bars, theaters and lots of fun things to do downtown. This was a great place to stay, and very reasonably priced for the amenities this hotel provides. There is a really cool outdoor pool on the 7th floor. The only thing was it closed at 10, I wish it had been open longer. The fitness room is way more stocked then most hotel fitness rooms. I travel a lot, and this was a really relaxing night stop.

Great location if you are going to the arena.

If you are going to a game or event at Time Warner Arena, then you can't stay any closer than at the Hyatt House. Great hotel, mostly great staff, great free breakfast in the morning (including omelet stations), and clean well appointed rooms. Plus you just walk next door to the arena. Plus just a short walk to Epi Center.

Valet parking is pretty much only option, but very convenient and the valet guys are great.

Only negatives are that there are never enough luggage carts, and when you ask the staff they are never helpful and on my last stay very rude. So, you have to search each floor to find one, but sometimes the valet guys will help you. For a hotel this size and no bell men, they need more carts, and the staff need to go out in the hotel and retrieve them.

Also, for this hotel being literally on the same lot as the arena and inches from touching the arena, there is no direct entrance from the hotel to the arena. You still need to go outside and walk all the way down the sidewalk to the arena main entrance. I would think by now they would have a direct entrance or allow access to one of the entrances close to the hotel.

I have been going elsewhere lately due to the luggage cart issue, but still a great hotel in the heart of uptown Charlotte.
