Excellent customer service, great room (comfortable bed), breakfast included, but...on our stay of 4 days/3 nights they never clean the room. Garbage basket full, never vacuum the floor, never made the bed or clean the bathroom. We told at Reception and the lady didn't give an explanation or apologize, she just race her eyebrows and move her head, "hope you'll be back", that's it. That's why I give 3 stars.

Not only were we extremely early for our 4:pm check in time, but we had all our luggage with us! Lany had no problem checking us in, checking our bags, inviting us to take part in their breakfast that was still open, and giving us a key to the pool while we waited for the room to be ready! Lany has also continued to go out of her way to help us get settled! So far, I’m blown away at the friendliness and efficiency here! The pool is beautiful and really quite large; 2 corners have jets, one wall has a waterfall, there’s a seating area, and a kid zone! The room is great and very spacious!

The service was great. Just know you will pay for parking everyday. Breakfast was phenomenal. Place was clean and chic.

Myself, I think first responders were a gift to the island. Thanks to all!!! As far as they’re staying on the governments dime, they stay wherever hotels are working and able to offer a government rate. It’s people that post hateful things who show their ignorance. These people are away from their families for months at a time and working long 12-14 hour days, 7 days a week! Thank you to the hotels for welcoming and appreciating their hard working responders.

The room is great but the customer service sucks. It's hardly anyone at the front desk. I wanted to order room service and the guest host said someone would be up with the menu. Well 15 mins later no one showed and I ended up going downstairs and the guy at the front desk just brushed us off as if he had other important things to do.

I'm sure many recent reviews in Puerto Rico are by first responders who must think they are gods gift to this island. In fact many of them just came for a paid vacation on the governments dime. This hotel has an excellent location and the pool area is one of the best of many the brands you might expect to do better. The breakfast buffet is such a nice touch and very delicious.

I will absolutely stay here again if the opportunity presents itself. The room was spacious and accommodated five people on the two double beds and pull our sofa. There was live music in the lobby on the weekend and the service was great!

It was a lifetime experience for me to stay at this place. I got a suit with kitchen staff and all other great amenities. Excellent harbour veiw, airstrip veiw, a bit away from 6he happening places. But should be an excellent choice to rest and enjoy the warm hospitality of a great chain hotel. Love to go back there if I get a chance.

It had free breakfast. It was also very secure. You have to have a key card to use the elevator to go the rooms. It was a beautiful hotel and close to the airport as well as where my cruise ship was docked.

Great location if you Uber or have a rental. You can park on the main street between designated white parking lines. Do not park in the back, police was ticketing cars every night. Hotel parking is $14. Pool is awesome especially if traveling with kids.

New hotel located in San Juan City center. Just a quick ride to Old San Juan and conveniently located across the Convention Center. Rooms are very clean and decorated European style. The bathroom is big and includes a massage shower head. Will definitely come back to this property on my next visit to Puerto Rico.

Nice place, spacious clean rooms. Nice lobby, adequate gym, and OK pool. The staff was very nice. Great @ multitasking and showed care about the guest. Just need more rooms with tubs. Bar area was nice And other amenities were a nice fit.

Loved this hotel 🏨! Had a nice warm breakfast. Excellent cleanines. Very comfy beds. Had a mini fridge in the room. Restaurants nearby the hotel. Good option to stay.

Stayed here in May 2016 and had a great experience. The room was nice and clean and new. Great central location and easy to get to different places. The hotel concierge was efficient and friendly, they had a great breakfast buffet and small cafe and general store. Had a live band one night. The pool is amazing. Great place to stay if you are traveling with kids.

We love it. The rooms have a large flat screen TV, two queen size beds, a sofa/bed, coffee​ table, closet, desk and chair, three dresser draws, refrigerator, coffee maker, you will find a full size ironing board and steam iron. There is a hair blower in the restroom which is of great help. The pool is a great addition and a smaller gym is just right for having a wonderful stay. The lobby is where you go early to have a great breakfast each morning of your stay.

I wish there were more food places walking distance but besides that had a wonderful experience staying here multiple nights. Rooms were pretty good size and beds were amazingly comfortable. Had a great stay.

Everything was everything for our stay at the Hyatt Place in San Juan. The wife and I spent 9 days here as guest. Giselle was by far the best poolside bar maid, Jason was an awesome guest services host. Were giving 4 stars because there is always room for improving. The only downer we experienced was that the Hyatt Place shares their pool facilities with the Hyatt House. When a lot of those House members come over, the pool can get crowded. Other than that? SPOT ON STAY!!! Thanks guys for a wonderful stay

excellent hotel accommodations. Jason is an awesome receptionist/ host. He has a lot patience. While at were about to check in he was dealing with a family who wasnt actually paying attention to what he was trying to do to help them. While they were getting argumentative he was solid in his resolve of the situation. When we came up next he promptly apologized for them and for not being able to check us in pronptly, which clearly was was not his fault. I respect him and the hotel staff PLUS I am having a great stay

The hotel it self was fantastic and the location was great. The rooms where very clean and the staff very helpful, I absolutely loved the pool. The added benefit of breakfast was one of my main reasons for staying since I didn't want to rush out in the morning to find food. The location was great being minutes from Ashford Ave. And 10 min Away from Old San Juan. I also liked that it was very close to the airport which made coming and going a breeze. My only gripe would be having to pay for parking but there isn't a place to park In San Juan where you aren't paying.

Glad we chose this place, it is centered around everything. Family friendly environment and the place is Clean. Free breakfast everyday was great. The pool area is clean and the kids had a ball. We decided to pay the $14 a day to park after witnessing a car accident across the street, where parking is free.

Room with kitchenette and blackout shades. Double shower head, no tub. Large bathroom with odd pocket door which kept getting stuck. Adequate parking, $14/night. Just a few minutes drive to Viejo San Juan, Wal-Mart, Barcardi Factory/Museum, and other fun stuff. Several restaurants within walking distance. Very nice free breakfast included omelet station and spacious indoor/outdoor seating area. Friendly staff.

The hotel itself was nice. We loved the location and we also liked the room. However the employees were terrible. The lady at the front desk was not welcoming at all. We asked her how was she doing she responded fine and begun to walk away. The man Pablo was very unwelcoming as well. They both seem irratated and they took it out on us. I would not recommend this hotel because the employees are so rude it does not make up for the other qualities of the hotel. Very disappointed.

Everyone at the hotel is so very nice and so helpful. They make you feel instantly at home. JellyBean at the bar - she is an absolute doll and makes the best drinks and is personable and talks like a beauty!!! The rooms are clean, the breakfast is delicious and the atmosphere is comfortable and happy

Very pleasant experience - staff at front desk extremely accommodating and helpful. Location is very convenient to Pan American Cruise terminal and was perfect for a post-cruise stay. Parking on street is free and hotel pool is nice ... just get towels from inside before coming to pool in case all pool towels are gone!

We booked a standard room with King sized bed. When we arrived we had to wait for our room because it had been cleaned but needed an inspection. The room was spotless. It has blackout curtains which was very nice. The lights needed some figuring out since there was a master switch we had to turn on for the bathroom lights. Shower is very roomy. Has a desk, closet, sleeper sofa, small fridge, and a 1 cup coffee maker. My only issue with the room was the TV channel selection. You have like 20 channels and that's it. Missing a lot of standard American channels. Also you might have to wait for the two elevators if its busy. Pool has a pirate ship that takes up most of it. Food at the bar is overpriced. Breakfast has a great selection though.

I'm glad I chose Hyatt Place for my first vacation in Puerto Rico!! Room was very modern and they cleaned the room everyday not once did I have to ask for any towels! Staff was great and attentive. Hotel is located in a great location close to everything!

Location in Miramar was perfect for our needs. Restaurants within walking distance, easy access to park system, beach, jogging trails. 6 dollar Uber into center of old San Juan. Free breakfast too. Nice pool. Staff helpful. Clean and quiet, liked the bed.

Location is waking distance to restaurants and bars. Clean, comfy bed, and spacious one room fit 6 adults. Pool is nice even has a little area for kids includes pool side bar. Breakfast isn't the best but still good. Has a little gym, but has everything you would need for a workout. Has outside seating in case you want to relax outside. Also, it gives a nice sense of security you can't really do or go anywhere without a room key.

Great location especially if departing from nearby cruise terminal (short taxi ride away). Breakfast is included and was tasty. Staff are very friendly. Pool is great for kiddos. Our room was modern with comfortable beds but the room wasn't super clean. No big deal.

Pros: clean, free breakfast. Cons: not a great location. Very few walkable food options. I had to get my parking ticket validated at the front desk every time I left.

What I got is late check in...room wasn't ready, and a room on one of the lowest floors next to the power generator and a connecting room with loud people. This was a disappointing Hyatt experience. I think I'm going to find another hotel brand to go to when I travel.

So after a really bad first day, not having a room ready by 3pm checkin so being stuck with whatever room was available (which was a sucky room) I can better assess the hotel. The room I had had was not horrible. It did have an offputting smell though perhaps due to the AC a mixture of urine moldy wet clothes smell. I hate connecting doors to other rooms. Especially with loud neighbors and other hyatts I stayed at didn't have this. I invested in earplugs cause you can hear everything. Parking is way to expensive if you are a paying guest $14 a day?!? Unnecessary expense. They don't have a lot of restaurants in walking distance (olive Garden and sizzler basically). Overall it wasn't bad. Most staff were friendly. I wouldn't stay again thougha as none of my requests were honored and for the price there are other hotels with better perks/cheaper parking.

WIN!! Whenever I see "new hotel" I get hyped because who doesn't love new jawns. We picked up the rental and headed over to this spot which is SUPER close to Condado and less than 2 miles from old San Juan. From check in with Ithzia who was super sweet and welcoming to Andrea who gave us LOADS of options to see around the island, Christian who made sure we had everything we needed, nothing messed up the vibe. The breakfast every morning was great with a omelette bar as well as a Bar to get Ya drank on - which I did, the parking was not bad even if it's $14 a day BUT you don't have to worry about your car on the street in full view for people to mess with. Bed was super comfy and access to each floor was by key only and I'm talking key only. Clean hotel and SUPER great staff.

A very nice surprise! This hotel was beautiful, service was great and the amenities were perfect. Location wise, there is nothing around, other than the convention center but from now on this is my place to stay when I have a convention in San Juan.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Largest rooms in San Juan, FREE breakfast and WI fi, loved the game room and outdoor terrace. Frankie the GM was super attentive and even serving breakfast. Felt like home away from home. Oh, and the landscaping is so lush and gorgeous!

Convenient location with several good restaurants just a short walk away(Lima/Melanzana/Yamburger),Hyatt House is also very short drive to Old San Juan..

Excellent service and attentive staff! Rooms are really comfortable and modern, just like a really nice apartment in any big city. It's great to have a kitchen on your hotel room that way you won't over spend eating out all the time, and if you don't feel like cooking or going out for breakfast, at the lobby lounge/café they serve a pretty decent full breakfast.

The amenities are great as well, nice pool, outdoor patio where you can have BBQ's just like home, billiard lounge with tv screens to watch any sports game, and a gym.

From our experience there I would recommend it to anyone.
