I am a big holiday inn fan and prefer to stay at there hotel. But I was let down on my stay here. The hotel staff were bickering with each other. We also had them double book a room and some walked in on my coworker in his room when he was changing. Needless to say we were not very happy and we switch to a Marriott hotel. This hotel is clean and well kept. They survey afternoon happy hour and snacks witch is really nice. If they get there S*^% together they could be a 5 Star hotel for me. I’ll give them another chance if I comeback threw town. Hope they do better because I’m not usually disappointed yet the HIG hotels.

The hotel was a pleasant suprise! Very nice pool for the family, lobby and lounge area were clean and very welcoming. We met with friends who were staying there so we dis not stay in a room, but based on the first impression, I would definitely stay here.

We rented a block of rooms for a wedding event. Our guests were treated very well. With large rooms, good-sized bathrooms, and good customer service. The customer service representatives were all kind. However the bridal Suite was significantly smaller than the rest of the rooms that they offered. They also were not ready for us to be in our room even after checkout time. My bridesmaids had to check me into my room later in the day

The staff here was great the breakfast is awesome they got a lot of choices they're great room is welcoming and they have a social every Monday through Wednesday.

It might be a bit different than you'd expect from all of the other hotels, but it's not too bad. I'd recommend staying here if you're trying to cut corners and save money. In the end, it's a pretty decent hotel to stay at.

We are so glad you had a room for us. We had a reservation at another hotel but all the had left was a smoking room that smelled like an ashtray. The desk clerk was helpful and was able to provide some complimentary items that we had forgotten. Very nice hotel. Very clean.

I am amazed at the customer service I received here earlier today. I was at there for a child's birthday party. My little girl was getting fussy, and I knew it was time for her to eat. I went to the front desk to ask for a quiet room I could nurse my daughter in. I wish I had gotten the names of the 2 employees working, one was a woman and the other a gentleman. They felt bad they did not have a special room for me, but offered me their employee break room. I was so appreciative!! The gentleman walked me to the room showing me there is a lock on the door so I could have complete privacy and not worry about someone walking in on me. Fantastic staff!! Thank you so much!

Disappointing! I usually enjoy staying at Staybridge Suites , but this location was below par and frustrating! My room smelled of stale cigarette smoke ! It supposingly is a smoke free hotel, but this smell was embedded in drapes and carpeting! I booked a suite which was suppose to have a seperate bedroom. This was one room that wrapped around a small kitchen. I requested another room and overheard another person complaining about her accomidations. The second room did not smell of smoke, but had a musty odor. Thankfully there was a hotel across the street!

Close to everything and great price! They do a lot of cooking in the lobby so you often smell different foods being prepared when entering and exiting.

We made reservation at the same place on our way home and I will get to sample the last 1/3 of their breakfast.

Our room was a double queen suite and it was roomy. The prices are affordable and well worth it. The pool is warm and is open 24 hours for adults, but the kids have a 10 P.M. curfew for the pool. I would stay at this chain of Hotel again.

What a pleasant discovery on our trip South frim St. Paul to Searcy, AR! Rhonda, at the front desk, gave friendly information over the phone, graciously answered all my questions, and greeted us warmly upon our arrival. Our lovely room and common areas were clean snd attractive -- pleasant areas to eat our "social hour" supper (served Mon, Tues, and Wed evenings) and variety-filled breakfast. Well-priced with an attitude of welcoming/pleasing the guests.

The first room I was given had unclean linens and not properly cleaned and prepared. I requested another and was given good service in a promptly manner. The next room was better. I was pleased with the price for what it was worth.

It's a great place to stay. Staff is awesome! The first night we stayed they had a dinner that was nice coming off the road. The pool and amenities was great. The pond in back made the stay more relaxing. Great job!

Overall nice place. Good breakfast. Good room layout. Plenty of space in the king suite to set up kids beds. Minus 1 star because the garbage can under the sink was overflowing with the last person's trash and the fridge had their half used items on it too. There were a couple other things like that too, nothing major, but need to do better.

From Monday to Wednesday they have a Social Hour with free wine and beer plus some food from 5:30 to 7:30 my room came with a fully stocked kitchen obviously not food. The bed was very nice and very comfortable. Had a couch and a TV and a DVD player. The bathroom was wonderful the shower was amazing the bathroom sink and vanity was nice as well. Very good experience would definitely stay here again. The free breakfast in the morning had a wide variety of choices and we're very delicious. The hot tub was also very relaxing. Did not use the fitness center but that is available along with of a swimming pool and laundry

Loved everything about the place. Stayed for three nights was very comfortable! Staff was so friendly and helpful! Sitting by the lake and having cookout was great!

It is an older hotel and the rooms are showing some age but it is priced right especially for having a full kitchen. Staff was very friendly and the area around the hotel is beautiful. Breakfast is above average but still a free full breakfast so all heat and serve.

I went to Stay bridge for my family Christmas. The staff was friendly and helpful. My immediate family did not stay in a room but did see the high quality of amenities that are available.

Nice hotel. 24 hour pool and hot tub. Kitchen in suite with refrigerator, sink, microwave, dishwasher and stove top. And a full sized coffee pot. Hot buffet breakfast and outdoor grills available for guest use. I will be definitely staying again.

I had a comfortable room with a large bed. The location is close to dining and shopping. I really enjoy the pet friendly rooms and lake area. I wish the breakfast had better egg options.

Good price for the room. I like that there amenities don't shut down, so o got a late night swim with the kid to expend some energy after being in the car all day. The breakfast was good as well, big selection food. Overall a great stay.

I'm in the Navy I stayed at your hotel during my move from the west to east coast. I thought your hotel was great. There are little things that bug me at most hotels like paying a huge price to stay there then having to turn around and pay to do laundry but the little things were fixed at your hotel. I would recommend your hotel to any one. The way your doing business keep it up

I have to travel to Des Moines on a regular basis for work. Usually it's just a single night's stay. I am a big fan of the Holiday Inn brand, but I love the atmosphere of this Staybridge Suites more than most. I have never had any complaints about their staff, or the service I have received. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. I also like that it isn't too far from the bike trail, which I have taken advantage of, and close to the freeway. I love the social during the middle of the week as it frees my time from having to find something when I don't have dinner plans. I just can't say enough about how nice my stay is every time I come here. Thank you, Staybridge Suites in West Des Moines!

Excellent staff and clean rooms. We stay here each year for a family get together. There is a reason we go back each year. Their hospitality is unmatched at any other hotel I have ever stayed at.

24 hour swimming pool, spa, and gym. They have several kinds of beer at convenience counter. Will definitely be staying here again!

The environment and the people that make up this Hotel are unbelievable. I had 18 high school students with 4 adults that stayed here for 6 nights during state basketball. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was going well. We could not have had a more positive experience. I would recommend this place and these people to anyone travelling to Des Moines

My wife and daughters scheduled a Surprise birthday party for me and many guests. My guests came from MN, MO, IA, KS and AZ. Every room was in perfect shape, staff was extremely accommodating and the facility was absolutely beautiful. We were all pleased with the "going beyond the call of duty" attitudes the Sales Manager, General Manager, and other personnel had towards us and our guests. I cannot say enough good about this facility and the staff.

I know my wife and daughters were afraid that our guests would be too loud, too noisy or too demanding, but they all said that this place is somewhere they would come back to in a heartbeat.
