Stopped in to visit a friend. The rooms where cute. There was a little desk area by the front door, and a living room space with a couch and a chair. The TV on the wall was decent quality but not a smart TV. Past that was a "kitchen area that had a mini fridge, microwave, and a sink. Directly behind me in that area is the bathroom . I liked the fact that the bedroom area was able to be made private. It had a cozy bed, a bigger TV, not smart either. And a separate A/C unit.

I have only been here about an hour and have had the best customer service that I have ever received. I am on vacation and Steve has shown exemplary customer service. He is terrific. I will definitely visit again!

The staff was friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast with a cook to order option. They have a complimentary evening reception at the bar with snacks. The rooms were a bit dated, but still nice enough. The bathroom sanitation could be better.

The Mall is within walking distance and we were able to walk to dinner. The location is nice and many shops and restaurants are within walking distance.

Not a bad experience at the actually hotel, but the 800 number for reservations was a nightmare. They booked at the wrong Embassy for starters, and then talked about promotions that no one else heard of. There were individuals named Danny and Nick, I believe at the actual hotel who have been incredibly helpful in trying to mend the situation.

Room: wasn't bad, there was an odor but dissipated fairly quickly. They were timely and great with bringing up requested items i.e.; extra towels, linens etc.

Breakfast: surprisingly there is seemingly better quality options. Redskins potatoes and eggs as well as pancakes and French toast were made to order. Biggest issue was that the potatoes were quite oily and cold as they were made in advance which is contrary to the sign. I understand it can be necessary when they're slammed, but it was around 7am and it wasn't quite busy yet.

Pool, plan on using pretty soon, but overall seems like it might be a decent bet. Will update at a later time.

I enjoyed my stay but the suite my boyfriend and I were in was not up to standard. The coffee table had a piece missing, the shower had a piece missing, the door was missing the lock and the shower did not drain properly. I didn't complain but I expect more for the price. The front desk staff was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and happy hour was as expected.

It was a great place to stay!! Crystal that work in the restaurant was l amazing!!! She bought us room service on our first night. We talked for maybe 2 mins. Then my daughter wanted some more of the drink we had in the evening earlier . So I took her down to see if they still had some, she went out of her way and made her a glass just for her!!! When the next evening she remembered that we planed to go to the beach and asking about it to my girls. Simply amazing how friendly she was!!! She deserves a raise!!

CLEAN spacious 2 room suite. Staff friendly and the made to order complimentary breakfast was the best I've ever had. This was our family vacation and we had never stayed at an Embassy before but we will be from now on. Absolutely the best.

Anytime we travel we stay at the Embassy because 1) family friendly 2) can't beat their breakfast. We enjoyed our stay here will definitely stay again but I would like to see the pool are cared for a little better.
The pool area needs work, paint was bubbling off the walls and some had chipped off, the ceiling looked a little yucky too. One of the nights the kids decided to go swimming it was around 8pm I sat down at one of the tables trying to do some work on my computer. The outlets didn't work. There were towels everywhere and the basket of dirty towels was full only 3 clean towels left on the rack. I started to pick up the towels and sweep out the water because the floor was full of water the comer area opposite to where the hot tub is was full of water. I doubt anyone checked on it all day. I passed by the next morning just to see if anyone had checked on it, but it all looked the same.
On the bright side the breakfast was good, the staff was friendly the lady that serviced our room Lucia was awesome💗 the manager (I think he was the manager) that worked Saturday and Sunday was cool too, Very helpful and friendly. Had fun meeting people during reception hour, the husband even played a round off chess with another guest 😃 and the kids loved the swans and were able to feed them during reception hour as well. The hotel is the perfect location to visit Houston will definitely stay here again.
One thing is for sure we have yet to stay at an Embassy that is better than the one at Lubbock!

Room are nice. They are either currently doing renovations or they need to soon. There are some water leaks on the b6 to floor and I had 2 co-workers that said there is water damage in their rooms. We are also having issues some refrigerator is not cooling. They also need to keep up on the snack refills on the premium floors. We have to request for refills multiple times. Not a real deal breaker but it's a pain nevertheless.

Always have a great breakfast no matter What! Then there is happy hour with complimentary cocktails and snake foods. The place is well taken care of. The pool has too much chlorine and the only negative things I have to say are they are a bit pricey and my god someone rescue those poor swans that have nowhere to go just trapped in this tiny "pond". Feel that being this is 2018 that HILTON should have realized that is not classy and just makes them look bad!

This is a really nice hotel. We have enjoyed our stay. The staff is friendly, the room is very clean and comfortable, the amenities are great, and the food is wonderful. We will be back!

Hate to write this as I am a big fan of Embassy Suites. This particular hotel is pretty dated. The rooms are good in size and ok overall. During my Stay my TV did not work, nor did the microwave in the room. The hotel staff was friendly overall. Price for parking is very high compared to other hotels. For the price you can probably find a better place to stay.

This hotel service was good, only issue was one elevator was out. This establishment really needs to consider remodeling rooms are a bit dated. They did allow us to use the service elevator. The swans were nice and the free breakfast was delicious.

My husband and I recently moved to Houston from Arizona and stayed at the Embassy Suites for almost 2 weeks while looking for a place to live. Everyone there was so friendly and helpful. Truly felt like a home away from home. Rooms were super clean and the kitchen staff was awesome. The front desk staff were always there with a smile and willing to help. Definitely somewhere I will send my family and friends

The Embassy is ALWAYS a good choice when traveling. Having a hot breakfast to start your day is a plus and the manager's reception is a welcome after finishing business. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. They also have a pair of swans. Can't beat that.

Nice facility....two really large swans in the water feature in the atrium. Decent bar when open. Good for small conferences or get togethers.

Everything and everyone, we're amazing. The swans were an added bonus. It's beautiful inside, and our room was so inviting. My husband and myself have decided to go there one weekend out of each month for a getaway.

Best hospitality from management that I have experienced. Love the swans and the children being allowed to feed them with management assistance. A memorable Christmas trip!

We had a couple of issues with the room itself but the staff were amazing and they helped as much as they could. The breakfast was super tasty and the swans are beautiful. Shower had hot water and by far one of my favorite hotels I've been at.

We stay at Embassy Suites hotels around the nation, and the Houston Galleria location is one of our favorites. Glenda was very welcoming and so nice to our children, and she repeatedly checked in on us to make sure all of our needs were met. Our children loved the swans, and our oldest was even allowed to feed them with Glenda. Breakfast and managers reception were great as usual. Our room was modern and comfortable. We will definitely be back

The location of the hotel is perfect for a shopping trip at The Galleria. It is within walking distance. Just a block or so away.

Best thing about this place was Roger the bartender. I swear to you this man was awesome. I went to happy hour with some family whole visiting Houston and we did Happy Hour before going out. I seriously just wanted to hang out with him and learn about all the drinks he knew and the history behind them. Roger knew his drinks and taught me a lot. Gotta hand it to Embassy Suites for having a guy like that. Really made me feel welcomed.

Nice area, premium floor does not include snacks as in other Embassy Suites. Extra 30.00 a night. Had mold stain in the ceiling of my room and a small water leak around it.

Nice, really large rooms. Free happy hour! And pet swans swimming around in the lobby.

We evacuated the flooding in our area to this Embassy Suites and I have been so impressed with the kindness and hospitality of every employee I've encountered. The manager even fed the Swans with my kids which totally made their day. Thank you for making this difficult time that much better for my family of 5!

The staff was friendly. The check in was smooth and quick. The room was as it appeared on the website. Plenty of room for our group. The room was not very clean though. The shower curtain was pretty dirty as were the floors. The water fixture in the bathtub was very difficult to turn on and there was no cool water. When we got the water on you could not stop the constant drip. The mini refrigerator was not anchored down and ended up scratching my daughters foot. We did leave early due to the weather but when checking out and telling the staff about the problems, it was one of those moments where you knew nothing would be done about it. Maybe if the the same amount of time was given to the rooms as the cleaning of the swans area it would be a 5 star.

Staff was amazing, friendly. Rooms were good size and had everything we needed. Breakfast buffet was very good.

Nice, but...
Hotel is excellent, very comfortable and rooms are very spacious. But they do not have WiFi (seriously!?) and our hotel room was not clean.

I stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Houston.

Pros:
Large clean rooms.... The rooms were large enough that even though the room was right next to the elevator, we were never once disturbed.

Breakfast.... They have a very large selection and you can have stuff made the way you want it.

Walking distance to the Galleria... It's literally a 2 minute walk around the corner.

Water pressure in the shower... Finally, a hotel that you can actually rinse the shampoo out of your hair quickly! I hate it when you have to stand there forever with a trickle of water falling out.

Cons: I can't really think of any.

I recommend.

Great place to stay especially with kids. All the rooms are a living room/ desk area, also has a fridge, microwave, sink, coffee. Great free breakfast, and indoor pool. My kids fell in love with the Swans, so beautiful and serene.

Roomy, lots of space, but my room had poor air conditioning (and, if you've ever been anywhere in Texas, you know how important good a.c. is). I had the thermometer set to 60, room felt like it was in the mid 70's.

Embassy Suites by Houston has earned my loyalty. They worked through any problem we had with no problem. I love the rooms and was upgraded to a premium room just for being a loyal customer. I give this hotel 5 stars.

Don't get me wrong the staff is great and helpful, the hotel has great things about it. But it also has some not so great things. Some of the renovations aren't executed correctly. My bathtub in my room has been recoated but is now peeling. I want to stay in a place As nice or nicer then my own home.The decor is nice. They have swan that live in the indoor water feature but I think it should be cleaned better. Nothing is just out right awful, there just need to be some changes made. These hotels can afford the up keep so they need to do it and do it well. The breakfast is great, and they keep it so neat and clean.

This place was a pleasant surprise. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside has a spacious atrium with Swans (seriously!) Outside of the complementary breakfast, central location, and swans in the middle of the place, my room was big and awesome. I wish the windows had more of view, but what can you expect when the building is sitting in the middle of a retail commerce wonderland (from 7734).

The Embassy was a very nice hotel. Clean and smelled nice. Right near the Galleria mall. Plenty of restaurant choices in the area.

Very clean room. Quiet, comfy bedroom. Staff was friendly and helpful. Self parking in their lot costs $15 a night. Nice looking pool and workout room. My tub drain was running slow but maintenance took care of it during the day. Only negative was that the computers in the business center didn't have working USB ports so I couldn't print documents I need for work. Enjoy the manager's reception and say hi to the swans!

The Embassy Suites was really clean and the staff was nice and professional. I was there for a training in the meeting room and the chairs were very comfortable.

I had a wonderful experience. We had our 5th year Richards Women Retreat there. William the General Manager, he was exceptional wonderful. He was very professional and well relaxed. He made you feel welcomed. When William saw kids by the swams, he took the time to have the kids feed the swans. They really enjoyed that. The food was great. Although one chef was not so pleasant, I didnt get his name but he was a tall african american maybe he had a bad day. I look forward to staying there in the future to come. Another concern that I had was, the water pitcher by the wall with the strawberries in it. When the water was very low, I saw several guest remove the top just to get the strawberries. If someone can please correct this. Other than that , I have a wonderful stay. The rooms were very clean.

Great place to stay and get some rest after visiting local museums, parks and malls. Near to Galleria Mall, just need to go thru parking zone and cross the street. Rooms are clean, breakfast service is very good, wifi also works very well. Family option for 3 or more.

Room was fine. Shower head was too low. Shower head didn't have good settings. Breakfast was good.

Great bed, love the breakfast options and cook to order grill but the cook NEVER whipped his spatula or the grill off in between orders. The result was omelet flavored pancakes. There are also mosquitoes EVERYWHERE and my shower leaks constantly in addition to not draining properly. The maintenance person came to "fix" the shower but really all he did was make it harder for me to turn the shower on meanwhile I'm still having drainage issues.

Great location near restaurants and shopping. Spacious rooms were clean and comfortable with complimentary evening happy hour and full breakfast. On the negative side, I was not advised about fifteen dollar parking when I made reservation.

I was attending a meeting at this hotel. The hotel is in a great location, was beautiful inside and provided a nice meeting space. The hotel staff was very helpful and accomodating. If I have to stay in Houston in the future, I would stay at this hotel based on this experience.

What a great property! The entire staff has worked really hard to make us feel like guests in their home, they're welcoming, warm and they've even allowed our kids to fees the swan. The hotel itself is comfortable and accommodating but it's the team that's really made the stat memorable.

Even if they messed up our reservation, I still like Embassy Suites. Very nice here. There was a construction on top of us so it woke us up for 2 days with the sound.

Nice place to stay with kids or multi family's. Mr. Khan took care of any problems that happens while traveling. Bar service was excellent, breakfast was good and the kids loved the pool and feeding the Swan Cheerios. It's not the Ritz but descent place to stay.

First room had no lock on the bathroom door, who doesn't lock the bathroom? They said they send up engineering , never came. Moved us to another room the next day and the AC didn't work, finally fixed that. Had to call for extra towels, twice. Free breakfast was just ok the first day, after that it was awful. The oatmeal was literally cold soup! The third day, I skipped breakfast! Don't plan to return.

Everything was as I expected when I travel. My stays are either with embassy suites or Homewood. The only thing I saw and experienced that wasn't 100% was friendliness. Just get your staff in better spirits! Great facility, thank you!
