Really pretty nice for an airport hotel. Room was a little stuffy and dusty but once the AC ran for awhile it wasn't that bad. Everything was clean though. 1 bedroom suite was a nice size. Breakfast was about average, but is included and was nice enough.

Great Hotel very nice very clean. The staff is friendly. They can give you assistance with anything you need.

Great helpful staff took care of my group when we stayed overnight. Location was very convenient to the airport. The rooms were clean and spacious and very comfortable of a bit dated.

Having stayed in quite a few hotels recently, this was a pleasant surprise. The room is well appointed and clean. We were in a king suite with a separate bedroom. The attention to detail was great. We liked the kitchen layout and the variety of cooking items was great! Having stayed in an extended stay during a work move this beats it hands down. I liked the week time events which just adds a little extra.. the basketball court and patio area add to the overall stay. We didn't get to the pool as there was a large party in there. Its convenient to the airport and their are plenty of restaurants nearby.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Only complaint is that I called the front desk at some point to ask for a restock of sugar, cream and coffee, which never came.

The hotel rooms were a little dated; however, they were clean and comfortable. Easy access to Richmond airport. The staff were friendly and helpful. Had to wait a little for the shared shuttle to be picked up from the airport, we didn't know there wasn't just a sole shuttle for Homewood.

Great value for a Hilton run hotel. The lobby is warm and inviting, the beds and pillows are very comfortable, the rooms are clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful just like you would expect from a Hilton run establishment.

If you are looking for granite and high end fixtures, this probably isn't your hotel. However, if you would like a small kitchen with microwave, stove, and full size fridge, a large bathroom with a real shower door, and a nice continental breakfast all at a great price, this is your stop.

The staff here is very warm and friendly. The amenities are great and make you feel at home. Love having a full-sized fridge, dishes and a dishwasher. Outdoor grills and a half-court basketball court are a nice touch. The complimentary "light dinner" was heavier than most dinners we have. It was decent and kid-friendly. I could have done with some adult beverages but those were unavailable. In the room there were some scuffs and a little dinginess, but everything was clean. The walls were a little thin. The rest of the hotel, including the pool, was nice and clean. Overall it's a comfortable spot, a very good deal and excellent for families.

A wonderful place to stay. Great staff and wonderful food. The hot tub was relaxing and my son had fun swimming in the pool. Highly recommended!

Very comfortable and remote location. Staff is super friendly. They really make you feel at peace my home was destroyed from soot damage and I was here for a few months and it became my second home. Not to mention the amenities are awesome

This is certainly not a 4 star hotel. while the rooms are large like most any Homewood, the rooms are severely dated in décor and amenities. The room was in great need of remodeling. The beds were not queen sized. They were full size as best. The fixtures, including the ceiling fan, thermostat, stove, and reading lamps at the beds were all "dangling" by a thread. You could tell this was a much older hotel. They only have one two bedroom suite as well, where most Homewoods have one on every floor.

Also, after a group of folks left the pool dripping wet the staff came in to warn us about shutting the pool down for water in the hallway. and not in the nicest tone. We had nothing to do with the water in the hallway. I wouldn't have minded a polite comment to us about it, but the gentleman was obviously irritated that he had to mop up after the other group.

Taking this one off the list of hotels I will be visiting again.

I have been there twice and my stay was very nice. They're food is marginal. But everything else was great.

Rooms were quite nice with plenty of space and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was courteous enough.

The rooms were adequate for multiple people staying one night. The staff was kind and helpful.

First. The evening social is alcohol free. A fact that you do not learn until you are there. The hotel gets used by lots of longer term guests. So although it's got well equipped rooms. It's worn. Our room had three things that were broken. Left a note with the front desk. Wonder if they will be taken care of for the next guest .Service was helpful and friendly. Have stayed at a lot worse places then this. But kind of expected more from a Hilton Property

Partially remodeled older hotel. Very convenient to Richmond Airport. Comfortable suites. Noisy air conditioning.

Very convenient to Richmond airport and great shuttle service. Driver was very friendly and courteous. Hotel staff mistakenly recorded our shuttle reservation for 5 am but when desk clerk saw us in lobby at 330 am was quick to ask if we were expecting 4 am shuttle. She contacted shuttle driver and made sure we got to airport at expected time. Rooms are a little dated but clean and spacious. Will definitely stay there again. No fee for leaving car at hotel while gone on our trip for several days.

I have stayed here multiple time and always enjoy the customer service of all the staff. Only few hiccups in our stay was the fact that there was too much chlorine in the hot tub causing my eyes to burn a bit. Also, the toilet would keep running after we used it. But overall, its a great hotel to stay!!!

There were 4 in our party & the suites allowed us more room than a regular hotel room. The kitchenette with full size refridgerator was very convenient. The room felt very clean & modern too.

This hotel was great! the room was clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the ceiling fan made it very comfortable during this very humid and wet time of the year. everything worked the rooms seemed just a bit dated but overall I would stay here anytime a great experience for two brief days

Nice location right off the highway and near highway. Make sure to take advantage of free breakfast and evening social. Staff is very pleasant.

Initial room a/c didn't work but they promptly moved me to a different room. The conference area was not the greatest bathrooms on separate floor. Snacks we paid for were not very appetizing only provided one type of coffee no options. Business center printer didn't work. hotel a 4 but the conference area brought down to a 3

The common area was tastefully decorated. Breakfast was hot and tasty however we missed the evening meal because the time was incorrectly stated on the Hilton Honors app. The room was clean and the housekeeping staff did a nice job of refreshing our room daily. We stayed 5 days during peak season and were satisfied with our accommodations.

It is always a great experience what I stay at a Hilton property. The staff was friendly and helpful as always and I would stay here again. I would also definitely recommend this to my friends and coworkers!

For a family of five, the 2 double bed Suites are an amazing amount of space. I particularly appreciated the full size refrigerator freezer. The furniture is a little worn but that's because of the heavy use the hotel gets. If you plan to do much cooking, be sure to bring your own dish washing liquid. They do provide dishwasher soap.

My room was older (suffering from wear and tear) and in need of TLC refurbishment. The workout room is meager and one of the only two treadmills was noticeably out of order during my entire one week visit. The staff and housekeeping were kind.

If you're​ on a budget and staying in the area, the complimentary breakfast and staff were surprisingly very good and plentiful. If the weekday evening social meals are the same (I was unable to visit as I had dinner plans each night). You could eat enough good quality calories for breakfast and dinner without having to leave the hotel.

The laundry facilities (3 washers at $2.25 and 3 dryers at $2.00 for 60 minutes) were enough for my needs and all working. The laundry is on the second floor so expect a lot of traffic if staying on that floor depending on the clientele when you're staying.

For someone on a budget with a family or staying for 3 nights or longer, this could be a very good to excellent hotel. Someone not on a budget going solo or on corporate business, this is an average hotel.

It was fine accomodation for our brief vacation in Richmond. We came on a busy weekend and managed to get a room. Location was a plus, short drive to local breweries, and downtown Richmond. Room had a well equipped small kitchen with anything you'd need to do some moderate cooking. Clean and quiet, even on a busy weekend when they were almost fully booked. Breakfast was buffet contintental style and met our needs. Overall we had a good stay and would come back for a weekend in Richmond.

The hotel is clean and the staff was friendly. My big gripe would be that they cut the breakfast off earlier than said. If breakfast ends at 9 they basically don't put any food out past 8:30. If you're a very light sleeper the airport noise may bother you, though, I found that there would only be a flight that you could hear every 4 hours or so. Good access point to Richmond. I would stay there again.

Good spot if you to travel early, only a mile from the airport. Beds were uncomfortable and while they did schedule a wake-up call it never came. Free shuttle also never came to get us upon our return back from vacation, great that they allow you to keep your car there for no additional charge instead of paying for extended parking​in the airport.

Clean rooms, checkin/out process was very quick. The room met the needs of myself and my family while we were in town for the weekend. Proximity to the highway was an added bonus.

As a former housekeeper from 3 separate major hotel brands, I am very impressed with the Homewood Suites by Hilton located in Sandston, VA. Since arriving in Virginia not even a year ago, I've stayed at a number of hotels out here already and was nowhere near OK with the status of their rooms or level of service. Not only do I have experience in housekeeping, but hosting and guestroom inspection, as well... I'm far from easy to impress and I tip my hat off to the friendly staff at the Homewood Suites in Sandston. Our room was clean and well accommodated. Everyone on staff was friendly and smiled as you walked past. As somewhat of an introvert, I'm pleased that I didn't have to engage in small talk, as that is what I was trained to do at my previous hotel jobs. A friendly smile was perfect for me and if I said HELLO they responded in a welcoming manner. There is so much to say about my stay, bit in a nutshell- you definitely must stay here if landing at Richmond International or even passing through... and I have to add... it was very peaceful and on top of complimentary breakfast- they have complimentary dinner Monday thru Thursday!!!🤗🤗🤗

I love everything Hilton! I stayed there several times already, that's my go to place when I want to get out the house but not leave Richmond.

Close to the airport convenient to the highway. Homewood Suites is normally the best value especially for long stays or stays with children.

Good hotel. Not super modern, but nice enough. Rooms are big and have a full kitchen, if that's what you need. Bathrooms are good, as are the beds. Breakfast is large - typical hotel free hot breakfast.

Room was clean. Staff were friendly. Parking was a little thin, but not bad overall.

Very enjoyable hotel. Comfy rooms and a sweet jacuzzi. Some paint was chipped in the bathroom but other than that no complaints.

We stayed one night to break up a long drive. The suite was well priced, and everything we needed was there. And service was prompt. Breakfast in the morning was good as well. And best of all, the friendly and helpful staff!

When I am in the Richmond, VA area, I almost always stay at the Homewood Suites. I like having the kitchen and full sized refrigerator for the times when I am tired of eating out.

Rooms were relatively clean. Hot breakfast and service were all good. The beds aren't the most comfortable but if your tired enough to crash with planes taking off and landing you probably won't notice.

We stay at Hilton properties frequently, and this property is not up to par, our floor and room dirty, hole in wall, broken fixtures, bugs in room, and smelled bad. Not what we expect from Hilton chain. Hilton Garden inn across the road is new and clean.

The hotel was very nice, but not nice enough for the price I paid. I was expecting something exceptional since my husband and I were on our honeymoon. The room was nice but nothing out of the ordinary, and if you ask me, a $134 room should be out of the ordinary.
