Despite the extra amenities being closed due to COVID-19, our stay at this hotel was well worth it. Traveled from El Paso for a mini get away and stayed here 3 nights. The room and staff was nice. The facility was clean. Will definitely stay again! Thank you for making our stay great!!!

The hotel and room itself was ok, but still dirty and found deodorant from previous people I'm guessing. I expected better from here. When I called about the cleanliness of the room they didn't seem to care. With Corona virus out breaks I thought the sanitization would be top notch. And the general manager is the least friendly of the other employees. Bottom line I expected alot more from this hotel will not be returning.

The stay was comfortable but not great. The sofa bed was not very comfortable and had to go down to front desk at night for sheets and pillow cases. Our girls had fun at the pool, but had to ask for pool towels. Breakfast was good although not many hot food options. The staff was very nice and welcoming. The breakfast attendant was very helpful and really nice. These are small details that could've been amped up (for a Hilton). Definitely not a deal breaker, but wanted to give an honest informative description of out stay. Thank you!!

Rooms look to have been recently remodeled. The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and amount of outlets in each room. The only thing they need is more movie channels. If I ever had to stay for an extended time in a hotel, I would stay here.

Overall the experience was good because staffs were friendly and helpful. But I couldn’t stop noticing cutbacks. First it was the pool, not clean at all. My son and I kept our heads above the water the whole time. But still got eyes infected by splashed water. Second it was the elevator. There are only two elevators serviced the entire hotel and one of them broke down during this busy long weekend. So half of the guests in the building needed to take the stairs. I would much prefer to stay at Home2 again.

Let me focus on the reason I was visiting by taking care of breakfast and dinner. Really friendly staff and good location near local businesses. Rooms are big and comfortable.

Homewood Suites San Antonio NW is a great place to stay when you're looking for something comfortable and spacious with almost everything you might need from home. The room I stayed in had a separate kitchen area from living room and bedroom and felt more like a small apartment than a hotel room. Would definitely stay again.

Beds are comfy. If you get two full size beds they are pretty darn small. Rooms are clean and didn't hear any loud neighbors, nice and quiet. Breakfast is ok. Had a variety to choose from, but if you want a good hot breakfast go elsewhere. The fruit and hard-boiled eggs met my breakfast needs. My main complaint is coffee was horrible and the hallways were dank feeling/smelling. Staff was pleasant. Forgot my toothbrush, purchased on from the mini store at front desk. Overall decent place to stay if you want a little more room than a traditional hotel.

We liked the room but we didn't like the lack of TV stations. I know that might sounds crazy to some but we have kids and having kids TV stations is important.

They only had one and the rest of them didn't work even tho they had them on the paper. But other than that the stay was great.

This is our go-to hotel in San Antonio, since the early 2000s when we first stayed. Our most recent visit was a couple weeks ago. While some hotels go downhill after 15 years, this one has not. Enjoyed a light meal before heading downtown in the evening, as well as breakfast in the morning. If you're looking for more variety, there are plenty of great places just a short drive from the hotel. It's also not a bad drive from UTSA, Six Flags, and some good shopping centers. I wish we could have stayed longer, but we were just passing through this time around.

The only two things I would comment on are not criticisms of the hotel, but just some FYIs...if you're not familiar with the area, the turn into the hotel can be easy to miss. I missed the turn into Spectrum One the first time around. Also, the ceiling in the kitchen/dining area is a bit on the short side, which wouldn't be an issue unless you're particularly tall. At 5'5" I was able to touch the ceiling without tiptoeing.

We had several issues starting at checkin. Declined cc that were approved later only to find out they never ran it first time. Dirty dishes in room that they promised would've returned following day. No service during our stay. No coffee at 11 am. Kristina who was at desk at checkout was very helpful and very apologetic of all our issues. We were issued our 100% guarantee after she only offered one night. Became an hhoner member and told her I would be notifying them and she agreed to both nights. I feel that for 100 bucks a night. I should have expected so much more. Especially when I was told I would not receive any points for stay since it was booked on line. Not sure if we would consider this hotel again. This is the pan from our room which was in cabinet.

We have stayed at many Homewood Suites in several states. This one was ok. It did not look old, but we had issues with the drain in the tub, the extraction fan in the toilet room, and the pull out bed mattress was almost non-existent. The breakfasts were great, the staff was awesome, very spacious rooms as always, and I loved that they had USB charging ports EVERYWHERE in the room. I would stay here again, but will check out certain issues before emptying the suitcases.

We booked 2 rooms for our family to visit San antonio and Six Flags. The room is a little small for the price we paid. It seems the place need a little remodeling especially the elevator. Breakfast was good, work out room is ok...

Stayed an overnight at this location using a reward stay. Hotel is older and there were no problems to speak about. Check in was very nice. We were on the fourth floor and the floor plan with the full kitchen etc was welcomed. But being an older hotel the bed and furniture was not so comfortable. The breakfast and staff were all very nice and the staff were all excellent. They provided us instructions to the local HEB, they also have DVDs for watching in your room. In all my travels this is an average hotel. Location is very good with much to do and eating establishments are close. I would still recommend. Thanks for reading. Video on the YouTube Channel.

Clean rooms, good service. Didn't have much of an issue. They do have a shuttle van outside but it doesn't even go to the airport, despite being only 12 miles away.

We booked this motel and it was paid by our travel share, we confirmed that it was prepaid before going there too, we print out our confirmation from their website and it showed paid by travel share too but as soon as we went there around 10.pm at their front desk and front clerk (Tommy Davis) gave us real hard time to check in, stayed there at lobby for 1hr and finally i have to give my credit card then he let me go inside. He was not willing to resolved this problem but blaming other front clerk and because of thanksgiving break we couldn't get hold our travel share agent either, and Tommy wasn't willing to pay attention on my confirmation e-mail or my hard copy of confirmation either, he simply said that "It doesn't mean anything to me". Really very rude customer service, other then everything was fine.My only request to Homewood management that please educate your counter person for this kind of problems, It was really embarrassing situation for me and my family.

Good clean big rooms. Tv's are dated and old. But other than that rooms were great

The conference room is small, the music is loud, and the hotel location is not ideal for business purposes. It is adjacent to the highway and congestion from I-10 makes traveling difficult. The staff is friendly a daily helpful.

Layout of this location is a bit odd. Two elevators that each serve a different portion of the hotel. Choose the wrong one and it's a full trip back down and around. Beds were stuff and not all that comfortable. Evening reception was nice, but food messes made by guests were still around the next morning at breakfast, not a pleasant sight. Staff was courteous and house keepers were excellent.

Enjoyed my stay! Dining area too much for all guest to sit. On Sunday, I had to sit outside to eat breakfast, several guests had finished eating but occupied a table. Today I took my food back to my suite .

Very nice rooms. With a full kitchen. Breakfast is included with usually eggs, bacon waffles and coffee. There is a social Monday through Thursday that I have not made it to you. Convenient location and friendly staff

Have to be here for a month and it's really nice. Staff is really accommodating and friendly. Free food and drinks Monday through Thursday. Can't beat free food and drinks. Free gym, pool, and basket ball hoop. Laundry room and laundry/dry cleaning service available as well. Full kitchen(no oven but microwave available) utensils and cookware and dishwasher. Shuttle service to and from airport. They've really made my stay homey and welcoming. Highly recommended. Also grocery store and other eateries within walking distance.

The room was clean and comfortable. The gym room was really nice! The pool was very tiny and packed. Breakfast was great, but also extremely packed! Our hotel room was sadly next to the elevator and it kept waking us up. Besides that, everything else was great.

Nice place to stay. Staffs are helpful and nice. Breakfast or social (snaks in the evening) not suits for vegetarians. Sometimes even omlet has meet. It'll be helpful, if they put note on each food

Very nice hotel. They serve breakfast and dinner which is a plus. Big open space for relaxing on the couch or doing work on the table. Bedroom has a wall and door for separation. Only minus is that I did find one cockroach.

Staff is great. Tommy was very helpful and always friendly. The breakfast blows other hotels away. Free dinner on weekdays is a bonus also. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed.

Concierge is really nice. The rooms are spacious and well-kept. Beds are very comfortable and the sheets were clean when I arrived. Bathroom is a little small, but clean. Employees are friendly and helpful. There's a fitness area and a business area. I'd recommend this to anyone.

It's a good hotel. There's a little bit of a funky odor in the lobby and the elevator. Breakfast is great. Location is awesome for visiting USAA.

We did not get the room we reserved the previous day. The view was of a satellite disc and rooftop 8 feet in front of the window. The free internet was slow and we got disconnected a lot. The room was clean and it was what we expected as far as size. I would stay again. I really like Homewood suites.

Hotel rooms are very clean and spacious. There is a great hot breakfast spread and it is delicious. The service was exceptional and they are very prompt with any request.

A GLORIOUS Stay!!! Had a short notice business trip pop up, and needed to stay in north west San Antonio. Homewood Suites always takes good care of me, and this visit was no exception! Clean room, friendly, accommodating staff, competitive rates and a nice breakfast spread. What more could I ask for! It was GLORIOUS!!!

Amazing hotel for the price. It's difficult to get a hotel room for 6 people under $200 a night but we did it! Who knew Hilton was hiding this gem of a hotel? I was happy to find it on Expedia. Spacious rooms and a full size kitchen is super convenient. The kids enjoyed the big breakfast selection (two 15 year old boys, a 12 year old boy, and an 8 year old girl) and it was free. They were sad the pool opened 30 minutes later than specified so it cut their swim time short. They also wouldn't let the boys check out the basketball. but let an adult right after them do so. Would've been a 5 star except for that and the fact that the beds paid for were supposed to be queen size and they were only full size (remember 2 per bed and 4 males, 2 females) so it wasn't as comfy while sleeping. Also the hotel strip is on the opposite side of the interstate from the restaurants so walking was out and traffic is insane here. We did walk to a Jason's Deli (which was super yummy) that was less than a mile from the hotel.

Nice rooms and great food for breakfast and dinner. I would have given 5 stars but desk clerks were not very polite. No smiles and rude attitude when talking to them.

Nice hotel. Same breakfast as other hotels. I just wish the beds were Queens instead of doubles.

Second visit here. Much better since the renovation. It was quiet and the two room suite was perfect for our family. Breakfast was consistent and we love that it was included with the room. Pool area was nice. Lots of good places to eat and an HEB nearby. We were there on a weekend so can't speak to the manager's reception.

We were pleasantly surprised with the size of the room. This was our first time at a Homewood, we often stay at Hampton. It was a great experience, the staff were all very friendly, the included breakfast was plentiful and good, and the location is great. There are many restaurants located very close to the hotel, several within walking distance.

The new renovations look great! Homewoods have the best rooms. They are huge apartment size rooms with full kitchens. Awesome for extended stay. Nobody does overnight accommodations for business travelers better. Keep up the good work!

My new favorite hotel in San Antonio! Clean rooms, excellent service when I requested an extra blanket. Close to many restaurants. Not far from great shopping & the city's many attractions!

Recently remodeled and looks and sleeps great. Only complaint I could think of is a slight mothball smell from the faucet water.

Friend had a birthday here recently - there was a used condom in the toilet (not ours). Other than that, we loved it.

Updated. Nice suite. Too bad the tvs in the bed rooms didn't work and the front desks suggestion to unplug and replug was not successful. No drain plug in one bathroom so no bath. And then they don't answer when I called the second time. However the morning clerk exceeded my expectations by giving me a generous credit.

Loved the hotel and the employees there. Everyone was so nice and friendly. The swimming pool was a really good way to relax after a long stressful day.

I've stayed in plenty of hotels and this one just didn't meet my standards. My room is ok. Things are outdated but they are remodeling of course I didn't get a remodeled room but whatever. My biggest issue is the non vacuumed floors and things not being as clean as they should be. My bed was made but clearly my sheets weren't changed because there was a spot I noticed on them when I got there and lip stick on the pillow case. When I got back to the room later in the day both spots were still there after housekeeping had supposedly cleaned the room! That just doesn't look good. They brought me some new linen to replace the old ones. I had to change it myself because now no one else could and the comforter had a not so good smell. I just know not to go back!

Nice hotel very nice helpful staff, but come to breakfast its a mad house. They need a bigger breakfast area! But beside that love the rooms and the little kitchenette!

My room was spacious with a good layout. The kitchen area was big enough. The central air was controlled by a digital thermostat so I could set the exact temperature I wanted. Good-sized TV in living area and a smaller TV in bedroom. Plenty of closet space.

While the building is a bit older, it appeared to be well-kept for an older building. The building layout is a little weird - there are two main corridors of rooms which don't connect on upper levels, so if by chance you need to go from one corridor to the other you have to return to the ground level. Finding this location the first time may be a little tricky since the access road off the feeder is small and hard-to-find in the dark.

I did not use cleaning services while there, so I can't speak to that.

The free in-room wi-fi is extremely slow (less than 1 Mbps - yes, that's lowercase "b" for bits not bytes). So I guess that's my only real knock.

Awesome staff and service. Stayed several months on a project. Highly recommend great Family Environment and Adult. Evening Dinner was a great addition with spirit s to boot.. Only place I'll stay when on this side of S.A.

Excellent!
Family of 5, three kids a 4yr, 2yr, and 10 months. They provided a roll away crib with no problem. Room was excellent, room was cold just like we like it. Breakfast was good but busy (weekend). My wife forgot her purse in the room and they called us promptly. We missed the call until we reached home. They mailed us her purse and nothing was missing. This place has a great integrity. We definitely will stay again.
