Update-The manager has not only emailed me about our terrible night, but she has called as well. She was very apologetic and assured me that she was doing everything possible to make sure the partying and keeping people awake all night will not happen again...super happy about it, and look forward to our next stay!

Hyatt House is always a fun time for me. The rooms are comfortable, with all of the amenities one expects on hand. Local shopping and dining is right there within walking distance or a very short drive for most things you may want or need. Its easy access to and from the freeway as well.

Had an unexpected stay here that I enjoyed. The room was quiet and spacious with a mini-kitchen (didn't use it), a nice dining table with comfy chair, and a decent-sized living room with surprisingly comfortable pull-out bed. The bathroom was large and everything worked well. I also like the location, it's a short walk to a bunch of restaurants and also has very easy access to the freeway. Good option if you need to stay in the area.

One of the best hotels I have been to. As a traveling service technician comfort and peaceful nights so I can get some sleep is important to me.
The bed was very nice and the sheets and pillows we're nice and soft with a nice fresh smell. The towels a very white and soft not like 80 grit sandpaper like a lot of hotels I have been to.
I have been here a week so far and they have done a great job of cleaning the room everyday including the dishes I have left in the sink in the kitchen area.
Hotel area in general is well kept and the desk personnel are very friendly and helpful.
The area around the hotel is filled with restaurants, and other stores that are convenient to travels such as a Rite aid drug store, BofA, Sweet tomatoes restaurant etc.
But more importantly the hotel is very quiet so I can get some sleep at night.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Had such a great experience at this Hyatt. The suite was everything I needed and more. Had everything I asked for, promptly delivered. Breakfast was included with our room fee and it had several choices. The amenities were great (including convenience shop and office/printing area). Staff was attentive. We stayed here instead of lodging in SF. Definitely doing this again!

The room was amazing. We got a king suite and it was perfect for our family. It had just enough space for all of us. The pool and outside area is high quality as well. I would definetly recommend this hotel.

I loved my experience at the Hyatt House. My family and I were there for the 1 night, and the front desk agent (Jose) was so nice and helpful with all the information he shared with us. It was our first time in San Francisco and he gave us a lot of information of places we needed to visit, such as The Palace of the Finest Arts. The rooms were so great, so spacious , my family and I definitely felt at home. We will definitely be going back.

We had a very good experience and stay here. Nice room with kitchen, fridge, dishwasher, sofa and king bed. Also included was a nice hot breakfast at the lobby restaurant. Downtown Pleasant Hills is right across the street. That was a nice bonus. I was able to walk over to Pete's coffee shop at 5:30am.

Expansive breakfast selections including custom made omelettes and plenty of meatless options (a rarity for some reason at most hotels), pleased the vegetarians in our group. Hotel location is in the heart of Pleasant Hill town center, an upscale shopping district, with terrific shoppes and fun eateries within walking distance. EZ freeway access. Bay Bridge and SF just 35 minutes away. BART station nearby as well. Small parking lot only negative, creating some availability problems on weekends. Parking is FREE.

The staff here is very friendly and accommodating, they acknowledge you right away. The check-in process was also quick and easy taking the total of maybe two to three minutes. They have a bar and restaurant that opens from 5 to 10 p.m. and complimentary breakfast starting from 7 to 10 a.m.
The rooms are also very nice, very clean and very modern. I'm only staying the night but I could see staying a few nights would be easy. A definite recommend for everyone.

Great stay. I highly recommend. Even eating plant-based it was easy to put together a decent breakfast lots of fruit and oatmeal. Comfortable bed. Clean and spacious.

The staff and room were great. Very accommodating! I asked the front office if I could get a late check out (2pm) because I was at a class and they were able to adjust no problem.

Went to Hyatt to price check rooms for my wedding night. The clerk's at the front desk were friendly and very helpful. We will most likely be back to get the room.

We went to the Hyatt House in pleasant Hill to get some information about renting a room for our honeymoon on Valentine's day. The people were very nice and very helpful with giving us our options. We will be getting the room there for our honeymoon.

Visited a friend here in one of the rooms. Very nice small rooms with small kitchenettes, 2 burner stove with a nice fridge. Couch was pretty comfy and it's a pullout.

Great service and Great rooms plus they allow dogs. Gave 4 stars because the mag cards that are used to get into rooms are quite unreliable. Had to walk up to the receptionist once every three days in order to get the cards fixed.

The Hyatt House hotel was a great place to stay and I have barely any reasons to not recommend it to people. The location is not as close as you would probably want if you were visiting SF and Oakland, but it's a good place to stay that's not in the city. It's located right next to downtown pleasant hill, and the downtown area is lighted up at night so it gives a cool affect to people with a good view. In addition, the freeway is right there, as well as many shopping facilities.
The room could not have provided more comfort and cleanliness. It had a great little kitchen, and a large workspace. Our bed was quite comfortable, and the setup of the room was great and suitable. It provided all the resources that you needed, and it would be a great place to stay. They call it Hyatt House, and yes, they do try to make you feel like you are at home.
One hit was there were two computers in the lobby which you could use and then print things using the printing next to them.
The only thing I would recommend doing is getting your own food and cooking your own breakfast in your room. The complimentary one wasn't very good, and the area wasn't clean at all.
Overall, this was an amazing hotel.

The rooms are very spacious. The one we were in had a full kitchen in the room including big fridge, dish washer, glass plates and cups, silverware, convection oven/ microwave combo, ironing board and iron, hair dryer, nice bathroom with a shower (no tub), ample lighting in the bathroom area. Great complimentary breakfast. Only complaint I could make is the tv doesn't turn all the way to be able to watch from the bed.

Fantastic breakfast! They had waffles and everything in a standard breakfast but they also had a cook that would cook omlets! The rooms are nice and clean and room service was great

This was a really good experience. They are very informative and explain everything they do. I will definately go again the next time they are in the area.

It was stanky in the hallways but not the room. I was on the second floor and the pool was cool. Also the sofa bed was uncomfortable but the king size bed was comfortable. They also have a big refrigerator.

I'm staying here for a couple days and so far my stay has been very good. I got here a bit early before my room was ready and the lady at the counter took my info and called me when the room was ready. When I got back, she had everything ready for me and all u had to do was sign. My room is very nice. There's a living room, kitchen, and bedroom area. Granted its small for a studio but hey, this is a hotel room, not a studio! If I ever need to come back to the area for ANYTHING, I will definitely try and get a room here.

I live two blocks from the Hyatt House and recommend it when friends and family come to visit. Everyone has been very happy with staying there. They've stayed in the one-bedroom suite, and the two-bedroom suite. There is a living room and kitchen in the suites. The kitchen has a stove, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge (I'm sure much more, but I only visited the rooms so I'm mentioning what I remember seeing). Each room has a TV.

I heard only one complaint from one visit: the hallways hadn't been vacuumed while they were there - a piece of string was in the same place the entire time. But even with that complaint, they've come back to the hotel the following years and no complaints. There are many choices for breakfast, but they're not high quality. The made-to-order omelettes are small but tasty. The scrambled eggs taste like they're from a box. There were bagels but no cream cheese. But for a hotel breakfast, there are plenty of choices and it's easy to get your fill.

Oh, there was one other complaint - they said you couldn't close the shades and people could see through the windows. When I visited, I noticed that there were sun shades (it gets hot in Pleasant Hill), and the regular shades were behind the sun shades. So they were able to pull the regular shades down at night for privacy.

The Hyatt House is across the street from downtown Pleasant Hill, with two blocks of restaurants, theaters, and shops. Easy freeway access.

Lovely space, clean, quiet, good filling breakfast. Well located and a reasonable value for money. We had three families in three separate units in town for a wedding.

We had problems with the air conditioning in our two bedroom suite, one room received all of the cold air and was quite cold, the other bedroom received none of the cold air because it was further from the air conditioning unit. Maintenance was unable to correct this problem.

Otherwise, the stay was fine. I used the fitness center it also was clean and well maintained.

Nice room with pleasant colors and amenities. The bed was just a tad hard so plan accordingly if you need soft. The complimentary breakfast is where they really shined, offering a good setting, food that was actually good for a hotel, I had a custom made omelette and belgian waffle. Although small they do provide a tennis court as well as other games. If you need a hair dryer or charging cord ask. Expensive but worth kinda worth it.

Very nice newly renovated hotel. We got the 2 queen and 2 bedroom king suite. Both are spacious and have well-equipped kitchen. Bathroom can be a little brighter and unfortunately the toiletries are really minimum. Only shampoo, conditioner and bar soap. No lotion, shower cap etc. Asked for comb as well but they don't have it. The island in the kitchen have 2 bar stools and 1 nice swiveling chair. It's nice that there're lots of exit door in every corner. It also has basketball/tennis court, gym, pool (not heated enough), jacuzzi. Breakfast is a little underwhelming. There were sausage, scrambled egg, potatoes, oatmeal, Greek yogurt, toast and bagels but no muffin or croissant. The omelet bar is nice. It's right next to shopping complex and movie theatre. Definitely recommend this place regardless some of its flaw

Staff was great. Very cosy makes you feel like home. I hated leaving this place. Very quite and peaceful. This place is a great get away very relaxing. Great breakfast choices. My kids also loved it. Would go back again. I would recommend this place to anyone great spacious rooms.

Good place, close to everything including many food joints. Rooms were sort of tinier then expected. We usually stay in Best Western. It was our first time at Hyatt House. We were pleasantly surprised to find well equipped kitchen. Full of plates, pots, pans, and cutlery. House keeping is neat. Showers could use more pressure. Plenty of parking. Taking one star away for Crappy coffee. I don't know why but so far every franchised place I have stayed serves the crappy coffee and we are left to wonder what could be the deal. Perhaps they got a side agreement with Starbucks. Other than that the continental breakfast was fully loaded.

My favorite hotel in Pleasant Hill. Love the view of the pool from the room. The morning breakfast is sensational with a very wide variety of quality food and drinks. Everyone is very nice. Very clean rooms. Having a kitchen in the two-bedroom Suite is like a home away from home. Upscale. Excellent location yet still quiet. My suggestion to anyone visiting this area.

The hotel is well appointed and very convenient, I love having a kitchen and a living room of sorts. Feels more like a house that a hotel. While I usually stay here on business trips, it would be wonderful if I were to bring my family and they could make full use of the amenities. The hotel could do a better job with maintenance and it isn't the cleanest hotel I've stayed at but I have no concerns staying here either. All in all, a good hotel with some room for improvement in only a few areas.

Was there for only a night, but everything was great!! From the front desk to my room, and the breakfast was awesome! Bed was comfy, room, was clean top to bottom!! Had everything u would need for a home away from home!! I would definately stay here again!

We had a family event that was being held in PH. We choose this hotel for the suite option. This is a great hotel. Very clean rooms, nicely appointed rooms, and friendly staff. The double pull out bed was decent. Wouldn't want to sleep a week on it. My parents said the main bed in the separated bedroom was super comfy. I would stay there again when I am PH. This would be a very family friendly hotel, because of how well the rooms are done. Thank you for an amazing stay. Breakfast was fabulous and filling.

I've really enjoyed the Hyatt House hotels. They're consistent and clean. Typically easy to deal with. This particular one is very nice, and newer. Good beds, and nice styling. I liked it!

This was a terrific place to stay. We stayed in a king studio and it was very spacious. The buffet breakfast was great and they had a made to order omelet bar. Overall an amazing experience.I even joined their rewards club afterward!

Although my visit to the Hyatt House was brief (I was only there to visit relatives and swim in the pool), I was able to observe just how luxurious the place really is. The hotel has a laid back yet modern atmosphere, and this can be seen in the sleek and comfortable furnishings in the ample rooms. In addition, the hotel staff is courteous and helpful, and the on-site restaurant has all manner of delicious comfort food. Nice little additions such as firepits, a basketball court, swimming pool, and well dressed fitness center complete this hotel. All in all a good choice.

Was here for a conference. Facilities seemed older, but still clean. Conference room service was great and friendly. Didn't have much interaction with the front desk but they were smiling and greeting guests. Had a nice pool area and probably something I would have taken advantage of had I stayed there.

Needed a place to spend the night close to Clayton, but not have to stay in the crappy little places right there. Decided this was convenient enough. Clean hotel. Interior was pleasant and even nice. I had a two bedroom "studio" and it was super nice. Had I really thought about it I would have brought snacks and drinks as it has a functional utility kitchen. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was included and it was fine. I'm not a big breakfast person so just giving me some things to eat is fine. If you are a fanatic, then you will be underwhelmed, but I thought it was fine. If I had to be in this area again I'd totally stay here.

...have been enjoying this affordable alternative when visiting the SFO bay area for over 3 years now, tried this location while they were undergoing renovations. The staff went way above the bar in accommodating our first visit there (after an unsatisfactory night at a nearby competitor, who in all fairness even comp'd our one night--another story...). My parents accompanied us for a most memorable family reunion and in spite of all the great (Chinese food...) venues in SFO, we all enjoyed the generously roomy kitchenette that was shared by 2 neighboring suites for late night snacks (caveat: this is not a feature in other HH's unfortunately...).

The complimentary breakfast goes a great, long way towards starting any of our travel days and for this repeat Canuck-visitor, this is also a great launching point to touring the famed Napa valley, outlet shopping in Vacaville or Gilroy, or for lunch in the Monterey-Carmel area. Afterwards, both the pool and the hot whirlpool are a great way to unwind...keep up the great work here, folks!

I stayed here last Christmas and it was wonderful! The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, bed comfy, the breakfast was awesome! They were able to accommodate my requests. This is the only review I've written but I had to give it 5 stars because I was so happy with my experience there. It's a great location and a great hotel!
