Location was excellent. Gym was quite poor, it was squeezed into a small basement space that gave it a claustrophobic feel. Breakfast buffet was nice. In room television had only 1-2 English news channels, all other were in Arabic and German, would of been nice to have a few more English options.

Beautiful hotel! We stayed in executive suite, very large and spacious. Great service from everyone. Breakfast was wonderful and we very much enjoyed the location, close to everything.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Upgraded us to a suite for a small surcharge and gave us a fairly late checkout, so a big thumbs up for this. Breakfast was a huge buffet with plenty to choose. Location is excellent opposite the main railway station and right next to the old town. Rooms were clean and ok. Bathrooms could do with a little modernisation. Lightning was quite low, not enough to read. TV a nice big 49 inch LG LED. No room safe, which is a big minus in today's day and age. On the whole a pleasant experience. 👍

Amazing breakfast spread. The bed was amazingly soft and a true queen size (not two twins pushed together). Staff is very friendly and supportive. Great walking location near the downtown area and train station. Also a convenient location if one is arriving by rental car.

Location is nice - immediately across the street from train and tram stations, and across the street from the Old Town. We stayed on the 4th floor on the train station side and did get woken up by trams rumbling into the station but other than that it's quite quiet. The room was clean and tidy, though quite small (I'm used to North American hotel rooms). I didn't see in-room coffee anywhere. Heated towel rack was nice. Really nice big screen TV but limited channels, and only a couple news channels in English (we are in Germany, though, so no surprise there). They have basic Internet included or faster Internet for 7 euro (?) per day. The basic Internet is incredibly slow - less than 700k down and maybe 10k up (when are hotels going to learn that fast Internet is as basic an amenity as towels or pillows..?) Breakfast buffet was quite good with a wide variety of foods. Hotel staff were all excellent - friendly and professional.

Great location next to main train station and an easy walk to old town. Dinner at the restaurant was quite good. The staff prepared a buffet dinner for our group of 30. Breakfast was also very goodWith a pl with an excellent selection of fresh fruits.
As with most old hotels, the bathrooms are sub-optimal. Staff was both friendly and attentive.

-Some sort of renovations were happening on the floor right above us so we could hear drilling happening in the walls. The glass protector in the shower did not keep the water out so water leaked a lot on the floor while we showered.

This hotel surprised me in a good way. Location is perfect between the train station and city center. Hotel rooms are nice and have Malin + Goetz products which are really nice. Gym is good for a hotel gym and has free weights. Breakfast is a full buffet in a relaxing atmosphere. I recommend checking out the bar too, you get a free drink if you are Marriott Platinum. The other perk is free admission to the neues museum. I had to learn that from another reviewer and wished the front desk told me that. Ask when you check in to get the ticket. All the staff was friendly.

Right off of the central train station. Perfectly located. The rooms are on the small side but that is common for most of Europe.

I have been there for New Year. Absolutely lovely hotel. Very close to centre, yet situated in a quiet area (it gets quite loud for NY)

Low quality for the huge price they request. Visited Nurnberg at the beginning of March and I almost froze in the room. I had to request an extra heater from the reception, but it still was cold. Especially in the bathroom. Each time I opened the bathroom door it felt like North Pole.
I saw in the last day of my staying there that the towel heater, which was also the only source of heat in the bathroom, wasn't functioning...
The TV was antique and had just a few sport channels.
Good breakfast, but for an unjustified price.
Helpful personnel, on the other hand.

Good location but the property is a bit old

By far the best Nuremberg has to offer. Until this day one of two 5 star hotels in the city. A historical building, of which many parts survived the war. During the Reichsparteitage the hotel was merely reserved for Hitler's honor guests.

In terms of Le Meridien hotels, it is certainly grand in furnishings and service. However, lacking a lounge for SPG members is disappointing when compared to their Asian sites. Morning breakfast is plentiful and delicious. The hotel is situated just south of the old town, close to restaurants and amenities. Very good location for a few days in Nuremberg, next to the main station Hauptbahnhof.

I was there for for dinner gala and they were having a number of option for food. We choose the option for buffet. There were many options for Vegetarian & Non-veg. Quality of the food was also top class, Cocktails & Wine were very good.

Gorgeous hotel right in the city center! Steps away from Hauptbahnhof but a bit tricky to figure out which staircase to use to get there :)

Das Le Meridien Grand Hotel ist vorallem Obtisch ein unvergleichliches Hotel. Alle Details sind aufs feinste Abgestimmt. Preisgerecht ist es alle Male. Es fehlt mir persönlich nur das "gemische Publikum". Ansonsten war mein Aufenthalt perfekt im Le Méridien

Excellent hotel, amazing staff, went the extra for us when our son got sick. Go raibh maith agaibh Le Meridien.

3* hotel. The staff were nice but all of the roads were being dug up so took ages to get to the hote and then to the free parking. Room was dated and felt dirty. Large comfortable bed. Shower was rubbish and they had put the hot and cold taps in a stupid position. Stay somewhere else.

Stayed for a night very nice hotel. Great decour old school elevator. Beds are nice stiff but nice. Very close to a walking platz with a ton of food options and things to see. Very centrally located only a few miles to the castle. Parking is difficult.

It was grand. The location was awsome even when the parking was across the hotel by the train station. The staff was superb and very acommodating. Andrea at the bar served us our complimentary drinks with pleasure. Michaela, Veronika, David, and Sheimaa were truly great at the front​ they attended to all of our needs and gave us very helpfull information. Mary with housekeeping made we had what we needed in the room.

Location is fantastic. Right across the road from Hauptbahnhof station so easy access to the U and long distance trains. Stayed during an expo at Messezentrum. Very convenient. Service was excellent. Rooms are small, but we'll appointed, maintained and clean.

I think the service level of this Hotel is among the greatest I ever experienced. Staff is very friendly, assertive and professional. Even though you dont expect it to be good, ask them for their "local" whiskies. I had some Nürnberg and Munich Single Malts in the library and I really enjoyed them. Will come again, felt better than home.

The food was excellent. Staff was very friendly. Parking is 8 minutes walk from the hotel. Room are a little bit small but ok. Everything was fine. Liked it.

The service was top notch. I liked my room too. The food was great. Minor things here and there were off than I liked them but nothing mentionable.

Stayed there several times, and it has become my absolute favorite when in or around Nuremberg. Friendly staff, nice rooms at a perfect location. Breakfast is very good and I like the charme of the old building, great stairs (rare in LeMeridien hotels...). Parking at daytime can be a challenge, but in the evening and nights is no problem. Always looking forward now to the next stay.

pros: good breakfast offer, good clean spatious rooms and bathrooms. Comfortable beds and a interesting protect-the-environment programme. Very friendly staff - as expected for a 5-stars hotel.
cons: windows are a little old and one can hear the street noise even in the night.

Stayed for 2 nights with a family of 4, and had an excellent experience. The location is super and directly adjacent to the old city and next to the main train station. I had a suite upgrade to an executive suite and it was a truly exceptional room with 800+ sq ft and a fully separate dining and siting room, plus a second bathroom. The room was beautiful and the breakfast was also exceptional in the morning. A truly delightful stay. We had just arrived from the Munich Westin which had beds which felt like clouds, and were the best of the 14 day trip. The only critique would be the beds were comfortable, but on the firm side.
