Beautiful facility and rooms. Service was excellent and everyone was friendly and helpful. It would be nice to have a fridge in the room. The whole area is non smoking so if you smoke you are supposed to walk off campus.

Stayed as an overnight guest in the ADA accessible room. The bathroom was great. The shower was super easy to get in and out of and the tile did not get super slick when wet. The toilet and counter was at a reasonable height. The bed was a tad on the high side, but it was rather comfortable. I just wish the pillows were slightly flatter but that is personal preference. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay, very close to the hospital which was the purpose behind the trip. Certainly the best for walking distance purposes. Needed to extend my stay and had no issues doing so.

I heard good things about this place and was excited to stay there for the weekend. It was definitely nice when we got inside and we waited patiently to be checked in to finally get into our rooms. But we had to wait a bit due to the front desk attendant having to deal with a situation and being the only one at the desk. Than my boyfriend was not appearing on the system so we had to deal with that situation too. It was stressful, but once we got it sorted out and into our assigned rooms, it was an enjoyable experience with the facilities.

Stayed at the Luskin Conference Center for a 2 night stay for a work event. The staff was accommodating and friendly. The room was the perfect size for a single occupant. My only critique was that the pillows for the king size bed was 4 small squared pillows rather than rectangle shaped. I found myself falling off the pillow in the middle of the night if I rolled over. No big deal though. I enjoyed my stay and would be happy to return for a future stay.

What a great place to stay! My husband was in the hospital for 16 days at UCLA so this was very close to the hospital. Love the free shuttle, very comfortable beds and made being away from home for so long, doable.

Staff is so friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice. And it is very convenient being on campus.

The center is very nice and employees were correctly able to tell me where the event was held and how to get there. Overall very clean and the addition of a bar was a nice surprise and gave room for people to socialize outside of conferences and meeting rooms.

This hotel is nice, clean, and well run. Rooms are immaculate and facilities are nice. There's a restaurant attached to it, with reasonably priced food. The elevator was hard to figure out for many guests. You have to hold your key card on a sensor below the floor numbers and wait for the light to turn green. Only then can you select your desired floor level. I wish this was communicated better at check in. All of the guests that we encountered had trouble figuring out that this was how the elevator worked. hotel is on the pricey side, but I'd gladly stay again if I have to.

The conference center and hotel were fabulous, clean and well kept. We enjoyed our stay there very much.

Love this place! The food is top notch. Service is great and in the heart of the UCLA campus! They solve issues right away. I asked about a weird scent in the room I received, they had an associate bring the keys up right away and took care of everything.

I stayed there for an academic conference, and the clear consensus at the conference is that this is the most pleasant University hotel any of us had seen.

Highlights: Solidly good, moderately priced New American food in the lobby; art everywhere, some of which is almost genuinely interesting; lots of sustainability-oriented details; beautiful front patio; walkable to pretty much all of campus.

Amazing and compassionate assistance and service by ALL the staff. Unfortunately, during my visit to UCLA my family and I suffered a devastating and sudden loss of a young beloved family member who was a UCLA Alumni. As I sobbed to explain my needs, the staff went above and beyond to assist me and my family. They were genuine and kind and I even received hugs to help me get through the moment. Words can’t express my gratitude to the wonderful and kind staff of this amazing hotel.

Awesome experience! Boy, am I glad I booked this place. Right in center of UCLA . Got a great deal and nice rooms. Service is great and they have a free shuttle service to drop off within UCLA campus. For parents accompanying their freshman kids it's a blessing . Staff is courteous and very helpful. Would stay again every time

It is great place to stay if you have to have some meetings in UCLA area, its rate is a little high and you need to pay another 25$ for over night parking

Location is good. Well serviced by transit for out-of-towners coming from nearby, easy to find. Decor and style is nice, fairly standard for a business class hotel and conference center. Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are nice. Digital signs help guide conference guests and keep the schedules up to date. One small complaint, those signs are on a loop displaying the various info, in my opinion too slowly though. Ideally, one could swipe through the pages, but that's really nitpicking.

The conference room felt appropriately cooled and acoustics were perfect. The roof terrace could be improved with more shade structures.

Really upscale and nice place!! Lots of amenities for guests and the staff is all super nice (and there is a no tipping policy throughout the hotel including valet, restaurant, and bar). My only complaint was that there is a charge if you'd like a mini fridge and I did not find this out until checkout. You'd think a place this nice would offer one for free, but even if they're going to charge, I wish they made it more clear. Other than that, a truly wonderful stay! A legendary property that I would absolutely return to.

Nice clean but pricey

Finally had the chance to enter the elusive hotel of Gene Block because of a banquet.

Venue was very nice, super modern and well designed. Definitely felt like a very high class place. Our banquet was in one of the conference rooms and everything was very nice -- set tables and catering.

Food was pretty good! Was surprised by how the catering was decent. Had fish, roasted vegetables, chicken, soup, and a variety of desserts. Honestly, wanted seconds but I was too full after one plate.

Anyway, very nice venue and would recommend for event planning.

The conference services for the conference I attended were amazing as well. I'm assuming the center was responsible for the catering and refreshments, but whoever did it provided a great selection and plenty of it.

My daughter was having surgery at the Ronald Reagan Medical Center and I could not recommend this place more. They were so amazing and efficient and kind. I was tapped out emotionally due to my daughter's medical issues and I was a complete basket case. I was a ball of nerves and tears. I needed food and I needed sleep. I was just a mess, and they were so kind and accommodating. Truly amazing. Further, this was just a quick 7 minute walk to the hospital. It was convenient and perfect for our needs.
