Great hotel! Very spacious room with kitchen and good breakfast and evening snack.

Hotel is clean and updated. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was a little disappointing. We went down 45 mins before the end and they were not restocking items.

Rooms were clean, amenities were nice for long stay guests. Continental breakfast was above average.

A very lovely hotel. The furniture is a little dated, but well taken care of. Despite the furnitures age it's still on par with other Homewood Suites I've stayed at. I would recommend this hotel for its location more than anything. It's very convenient, and the parking area is good. Use the street inbetween the two hotels for easy loading and unloading into lower number rooms. The side door leads straight into the elevator lobby as well. Very handy.

Not Bad. Nice Rooms. Sometimes You get interupted at Night by the nearby railway. Services is friendly but breakfast is a desaster. Very small selctive. But everything was tidy.

The hotel was somewhat dated and the bed was uncomfortable. There were also some sound issues from the room above. Otherwise, it was a good stay.

Nice Suites, kitchen, dining table, room for the kids. Nice front desk clerk offered my son a free bottle of water. Nice breakfast too. Only downside is the train across the street but not bothersome.

Dinner staff are awesome, free food, wine and beer is fantastic, rooms are pretty nice. The parking kinda sucks when it's booked and the hotel next to it is booked but out of all the times I have stayed at this hotel that has only happened twice, all in all a great place to stay in Champaign.

The staff was great! Homewood is a great brand because all rooms are suites. I love the extra space! Another bonus is free hot breakfast. The selection was really good. Absolutely nothing to complain about!

Centrally located on S Neil St - food one way and fun shops the other. The rooms are a little small but have a lot to offer.

Beautiful building with courteous and friendly staff. Most pleasant hotel experience I've had in a long time.

My stay was only about 4.5 hours, so I had limited experiences, however the property is newer, well maintained, clean, and what you would expect of the spacious studio apartment style rooms.

My only complaint is they need better signage to reflect which way to the lobby in the long main hall. The only sign visible from your room when exiting is "elevator" but this is the elevator furthest from the lobby, the exact opposite direction you want to go when you stumble out of your room with 4 hours of rest.

My brother uses this hotel whenever he comes into town. The suites are big enough for his family, and they serve breakfast which is nice for all of them. It's not super fancy, but it's always clean and the staff is very friendly. If you're looking for a bigger room with full kitchen, this is a nice place for that.

Had a great stay of a whole week for family with two grown up children. The suite was sufficiently big for 4 people. Free breakfast was ample and changed everyday. There is a Walgreen right next door and other eating places a stone's throw. Very clean and well maintained. Also just a couple of miles from the UIUC campus.

Really enjoyed my stay here. I spent a few nights here for an interview, and I ended up moving to C-U. The suite was huge and well-updated. The free meals were definitely a plus. Close to campus and not too far from downtown Champaign.

We had our wedding reception at the Homewood's "sister" hotel, Hilton Garden Inn, and the Homewood was so accommodating with room rentals for me and my bridesmaids. I really wanted a larger room for the night prior to the wedding for my bridesmaids and I to stay in and a large enough space for all of us to scramble and get ready in the morning. Rachel was super kind and helpful in scrambling to find us rooms to fit us all on the different days.

They have a full-size fridge and stove top in the room we stayed in. They also had a table near the kitchen that was perfect for the stylist who came in to do my hair and make up! It was perfect getting ready with all of my girls! Would definitely do it again!

Staff was very courteous and accommodating to our family and the unuqie needs of a 1yr old with food allergies. Rooms were large and clean, very comfortable. Tasty hot breakfast and dinners everyday. Priced competitively with other hotels in the area and worth the money for a suite. 10/10 would stay again.

It was a nice meeting room that held about ten people. Water and coffee was provided. Front desk employee was friendly and immediately recognized I had no idea what room I was supposed to go to. An employee came in mid-meeting to refill the water. We needed to clear out for the next group (we were running late), but they let us finish up in the lobby.

Check in staff is very friendly although I've waited twice for them to finish phone calls. The room is spacious and clean. Breakfast area is also spacious and comfortable. The afternoon social was not crowded. There is ample parking.

We stayed in a king suite with our 3 boys (ages 7, 5 and 2) so that I could participate in a half marathon. The employees of the hotel were kind, welcoming and accommodating. They extended the check-out time to allow for race participants to recover a bit. They offered early breakfast and complimentary snacks prior to the early start time of the race . Wen to stay at the same hotel next year.

Best hotel in town. When I moved to Urbana three years ago, my family and I stayed at this hotel for two weeks. We really felt like home. People at the front desk and the kitchen were super special. Always in our hearts!

Hotel lobby and conference room were well kept, but main bathroom near lobby was in need of repair. Toilet didn't flush correctly on top of it all. Full of other peoples bodily waste. Shut the bathroom down and fix it properly please.

I stayed over on Christmas Eve 2016 on my way to a Christmas Day celebration. When I awoke I realized I had forgotten to purchase the rolls for our dinner that I was assigned. Remembering that Homewood serves dinner thoughout the week I hoped their freezer could save me. I went to the front desk and spoke with Roberta. I explained my situation and she immediately began reassuring me that everything would work out and she would figure it out for me. She went to the kitchen and returned with Angel who was running the breakfast service. He told me Roberta had explained my situation and just needed to know how many people would be sharing Christmas dinner. He encouraged me to enjoy my breakfast and he would take care of everything and find me on the dining room. About 15 minutes later Angel presented me with a tray of beautifully fresh baked, crispy golden brown, diagonally sliced bread sticks. Not skinny little sticks... 2-1/2" wide planks garnished with chives and orange sections. It was unbelievable! I told them to charge my room and they said there would be no charge it was a gift from the hotel. I was so moved by the above and beyond service. Roberta and Angel gave me my Christmas miracle. Kudos Kudos Kudos !!💗

Enjoyed the suite it was very clean as was the entire hotel. The included breakfast was nice and the area spacious. We would stay there again without reservation.

Regular hotel. Had a good staff experience. Pull out bed was not the most comfortable. TV dish went out for a half hour when it rained.

Our home when visiting Champaign. Rooms are spotlessly maintained and it's quiet. Excellent breakfast and attentive staff.

Best hotel stay I've ever had, including Westin and other high-end hotels. The rooms are QUIET, the beds are comfortable, even the sofa bed is comfortable. The hotel is within walking distance (2 miles) of U of I campus, and there is almost no road noise. There is a complimentary breakfast AND light dinner on Mondays-Thursdays. The staff is friendly and greet you every day. The rooms have fully stocked kitchenettes with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, pots, dishes, and silverware. The bathroom is large with an oversize shower. It might not have the most modern furnishings, but it's all fully functional. There is a great workout room with free weights, too, and a small pool. I am so glad I stayed here, and I will stay again next time.

My family recently used Homewood suites for a wedding. We stayed at the hotel, the bridal party got ready there, and we had a brunch there. It was great, they were very accommodating to all our guests. We would definitely go back.

I wasn't at all surprised to sign on here and find the consistent 5 star reviews that I did. I don't know if it's the Midwestern spirit and sincerity, or if this hotel staff is truly just one of a kind, but what a TREAT to stay here during my time in Champaign for work! I always love the Homewood Suites cozy comfort (fireplace in the lobby, spacious suites, the awesome breakfast), but the staff at this particular location really made this an exceptional experience.

During atrocious weather in Champaign, I was greeted by warm and friendly familiar faces of the staff every time the gale force winds blew me back in the door. Colin, Kelly, and two other great staff members (one a bearded guy, and the other a petite girl) seemed sincerely happy to see me ("You're back! Welcome!"), super accommodating of everything I needed ("Oh, don't buy that package. I have a freebie razor for you," "Oh, we'll have Thomas walk room service over to you from the Hilton Garden Inn"..in negative 6 degree weather, mind you!) These guys were amazing. To top it all off, I was disappointed one evening that there was no wine available for purchase in the pantry, when - voila! A half hour later, a bottle of chilled wine appeared at my room door. Unbelievable customer service!! It's so rare to feel well taken care of in a hotel these days, and the staff of the Champaign Homewood Suites were a breath of fresh air.

I stay in a lot of hotels because of my occupation. I stay in some hotels for months at a time. I've been staying at this hotel for around 6 months. It's probably the best extended stay hotel I've ever been. I kinda live here while working so I'm a little biased. But I've also lived in dozens of other extended stay hotels and you dont get the same level of customer service as this hotel. And dinner/breakfast is always nice and way better than Marriott that serve food.
