This is a great hotel in a beautiful area of town. Easy access to the highway and close to grocery stores and shopping. We like staying at Homewood Suites because the refrigerator is so big and having a kitchen helps us to eat healthy. However, the breakfast and evening specials have really good food.

Selected this hotel mainly due to proximity to my company HQ's. That and I typically have good experiences at Homewood Suites properties. This one is just okay. First night in the room next to mine had a bag of dirty cat litter outside of the door for at least 14 hours. The next day it was barking dogs. I got the feeling that I was placed in a block of pet rooms... Other than that, this location just doesn't show the pride of ownership that I see in many locations. The people are nice enough, but the cleanliness is just not there. No one sweeping the lobbies or ensuring things feel fresh. My room was clean, but the overall condition was a bit worn. It looks like there was likely some water damage at one point, as there were many soft-spots and yellowing on the ceiling. Some mildew in the caulking, etc. I can't speak to the food, as I didn't partake in breakfast or any of the happy hours. A little TLC and this place could move up to a 4-star rating for me.

Me and my wife stay there while my son graduated from boot camp in the Navy we had a wonderful stay and the breakfast was magnificent. Keep up the good work God bless you I might just want to come back just for the hell of it

A nice quiet location. The staff is attentive and friendly, and the facilities are pretty and simple. It combines to make for a comfortable stay. While I wish the hallways had more natural light, the rooms are big and full of light. While the in room kitchen is simple, it's functional. Over a great place to stay.

Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. Rooms are clean and fresh towels almost every day. I'd definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.

Great location with access to main roadways, yet very quiet. Stores and restaurants were approximately a 5 minute drive in either direction. Hotel staff extremely accomodating and pleasant- they appeared genuinely happy to work there and assist. Great weeknight social hour, and as always, free breakfast in the morning. Rooms were well-designed and used space comfortably.

The staff is amazing here. Super friendly and helpful. The hotel was kind enough to offer breakfast and dinner during my stay as well as complimentary wine and beer. Rooms were great. Clean, full of toiletries and spacious. I'll be coming back for sure.

I stayed at Homewood suites in Lincolnshire because my husband was graduating from boot camp. It was in between the base and the airport so location was convenient. The comfort level was great as I was staying with my two year old and six month old sons. I loved that there was a stove top.

A spacious and clean suite. Hotel staff has been very friendly. Breakfast options are excellent and coffee and cider are available in the lobby all day. Only complaint is a small one: a sign in the bathroom prompted me to hang my towel and reuse it tomorrow if I want to conserve energy, so I did... but the maid took it and gave me a new one anyway.

It is hard to find! 4 lost Uber drivers... But great value, clean, quiet and comfortable. Coffee in room, mugs, paper towel just a few little details that matter and get missed by other extended stay properties.

We stay at this location frequently, usually for a week plus both weekends. We have gotten to know most of the staff and they are really friendly. Most of them will help with whatever is needed. But the hotel itself is in need of renovation. First of all, it would be nice if it were entirely non-smoking, because we tend to smell cigarette smoke on all floors, mostly in the hall, but occasionally in the rooms. Many of the sofa-sleepers are broken, so we have to check on these when we check in since that is where our kids sleep. When the pool is heated, it is nice, but it can get quite cold. The breakfast offerings can be hit or miss, depending on the day. We keep staying there because we know about these issues and can deal with them. But it would be nice to see some investment in the place.

Update: Things have definitely gotten better! I have seen improvement on all points that I mentioned above. Good job!

This was a very nice place untill the hotel promised me free shuttle service anf failed to provide. Apart from that this is a nice place to stay with family. Food is great and so does their evening dinner. Lot of parking space. Staff are very friendly. Cofee is provided 24/7. Gym is great and so is the pool very well maintained. The only setback is its few miles away from grocery store or any mart.

Most friendly staff ever. Breakfast + Dinner + Gym. Convenient when in business trip. Cozy outside area + SPA and swming pool when in leisure trip.

The staff was awesome. The rooms had weird layouts and the food was abysmal even by free hotel good standards.

I had a fantastic stay. The hotel offered free apple cider for guests, and it was excellent. My group used both the conference room and pool and the facilities were perfect for what we needed. I stayed in a suite and remarked at how much space I had. I would definitely use this hotel again.

I have stayed at this location 3 times now and it is great. The property is well maintained and the staff is great.

Location was 15 minute drive to Great Lakes Navel Station. Great suite with seperate bedroom and full kitchen. Managers reception with food and drinks each evening. Will stay here each time we come back.

The lobby is very modern and a nice place to hang out. Rooms are kinda small and outdated. The sofa sleepers are very difficult to sleep on. My sink was leaking when I arrived however the front desk had called to see how my stay was going and fixed the leak Within 10 minutes.

Homewood Suites are always very nice hotels and this one is no exception. The service was very friendly around the clock. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was even very delicious! I also enjoyed the outdoor patio area. Thanks for a great experience! I'll definitely be returning to this location.

The staff was kind and the location was convenient for me. There's a running path starting on Half Day road. If you head west and then turn south at Olde Half Day on the path, you can run for a long time along the river without traffic.

This hotel is absolutely amazing. We stayed here on the weekend of my son's Navy graduation. It's a little further than the others close to the base but completely worth it. The extra space in the rooms as well as the dining and outside areas made it perfect to spend the day with my son. A little bit of home away from home. The staff was very attentive and accommodated any need we had. If you are searching for a great place to stay for graduation consider them.

Reservation for three rooms for a group of friends. I was able to add another name to the reservation making check in easier for the group who arrived first. Nice outdoor area for relaxing. Complimentary breakfast was good. Employees were helpful. The AC could be turned down a bit.

The hotel is old but nice. When i walked down the hall the vents blew cold air at my face. Kind of annoying. The fridge was loud.

Located in a picturesque part of Lincolnshire to the north of Chicago in Lake County, Illinois. Fairly close to the O'Hare International Airport and very close to the large pharma companies in that area. Spacious rooms and generous breakfast spread with nice, light supper served in the evening from.Mon to Thu as complimentary add-ons. Has a nice lawn and walking / cycling trails nearby.

Room was amazing and service was great. Really good breakfast. Decor is beautiful and upscale. Definitely a good place for families or a longer stay.

Good affordable accommodation. The kitchenette is a little smaller than many other places I have been, and I have had issues with consistency of room service.

Rooms are nice and I enjoy the way they are laid out. The hotel itself is also very nice. The stairwell smells like old fish for some reason, though. Breakfast options are nice.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. Only downside is that it's pretty remote. Not even a gas station or convenience store within 2 miles of the place, which means you have to rely on driving everywhere for food, snacks, etc... Literally nothing within walking distance. It's a nice hotel overall. The only drawback is the location sucks.

Location is close to shopping and restaurants. Room was spacious and clean. Food at evening reception was great as well as breakfast.

Suites are like small apartments - great for short or extended stays, good full hot breakfasts, nice weekday evening socials (very limited vegetarian options), friendly staff. Highly recommended.

The room I stayed in here could've easily cost me triple what I paid to stay there. The breakfast was hot and different every day. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, they really exceeded my expectations.

No Internet the first night at all and no help to get it fixed. Pool was cold. Room was nice, breakfast was good.

Apple cider was hot and full. Would describe the taste as apply with hints of caramel, mint, and saffron. On a 100 point scale the drink is deserving of a 79.5 which is certainly something to be proud of but nonetheless noticeabley separated from the greats of other top apple districts.

Stayed here for 3 days while my son graduated from Navy boot camp. I can't express how amazing, courteous and accommodating the staff has been. Great value and the room we were in was perfect. We Booked a suite with a king bed and sofa sleeper. Plenty of room for my wife and daughter. Breakfast was good: eggs, hash browns, sausages as well as the waffles that the daughter loves with all the fixings. As well as oatmeal, cereal and bagels if that suits you better.

We could have stayed closer to RTC but we had a rental car so that wasn't a deal breaker. Takes us about 20 minutes to drive there. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Everything was great. The courtyard had a huge grill where we made burgers and brats. Good size pool for the kids to play in and the room set up was amazing. Would recommend all the time.

Came with another couple and our rooms weren't what we booked. Ended up getting separate rooms with no discounted rate for their mess up. Rooms are decent. Halls smell of cigarette smoke. Breakfast good. Needs hot tub.

Just completed a four night stay. The hotel recently completed a cosmetic remodel. Very quiet, large and comfortable rooms, friendly staff. We really enjoyed our stay.

Ok, so I'm totally not a robot writing this review. To prove it, here are some human details: I had to go to Chicago for business and just had to stay one night. I called ahead to all the other hotels in the area. This place did not try to high-pressure sale me the room or wheel and deal. They also have NO history of bedbugs on the bedbug registry. The staff was super nice... almost too nice, but that's not so bad. The breakfast was really great, bacon n' eggs, hashbrowns, it was all good. The rooms were totally clean and quiet. What more would you want? Oh, and decent price too.

I like the Hilton I can't stand Lincolnshire. The police in that town act like jacked up meth addicts. If you do get stopped be prepared 1st. to be profiled 2 nd. I hope you like dogs cause that's what's next. Booo to the LE in Lincolnshire.

For work I have been traveling to Lincolnshire, IL for the past six months. When ever possible I stay at the Homewood Suites. The staff is so wonderful and friendly. I am treated like a family member and now call this place my second home. Jamie, one of the Senior managers, does an excellent job mentoring his employees to provide the best customer service I have every experienced and he looks out for me like a friend. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. It is hard to travel every week for work but the employees of the Homewood Suites in Lincolnshire make it a pleasant experience.
