We had a wonderful stay! The front desk staff were kind and accommodating. The room was spacious and had all the comforts of home. Breakfast was delicious and we really enjoyed the complimentary snacks and beverages during social hour. We also used the pool every day during our stay and it was always clean and stocked with towels. Highly recommend!

We stayed one weekend when the hotel was completely sold out. They were quite busy with a large block of rooms that had been booked for a wedding. We were impressed that the place was clean, breakfast was plentiful, and service was professional and with a smile.

As for our room, the kitchen was a bit crowded, a tight use of space. Good lighting, a desk to work at, and enough plugs bedside for all your digital devices. Plenty of towels and both an iron and ironing board provided.

Breakfast was crowded and off and ran out of dishes. But the food was refilled promptly. Weekdays they have a happy hour downstairs, with wine and a couple nibbles.

Even though we had booked a month in advance , we paid more than I think it was worth, but likely because it was sold out and accommodations in town were at a premium. I would definitely come back here, if the rate was a bit less.

Rooms were big, clean and quiet. Family enjoyed shooting hoops in the fenced in yard. Never been to the area before just stopping on our drive through. Staff suggested Chips restaurant nearby and that was great. Nice little stay. 4 People / 2 rooms

Clean rooms, friendly staff. I was honestly impressed at how big the rooms were. The free wine/ beer for guests in the lobby during the evenings was the icing on the cake. I'll be staying here every trip I have to the area.

Room size was good, and staff was friendly. Unfortunately the kids were awakened by ants crawling on them! When we lifted the comforter found many other ants. On closer inspection we also found ants all over the carpet in the living room area...so it seemed like it was a widespread issue.

Excellent accommodations. Amenities weren't overly sparse like some places I have stayed on this trip. Service was excellent. It was clean and quiet. What else could you ask for?

Very clean hotel with large rooms. The breakfast was decent. The pool was very well maintained. The location is a little busy. There are strip malls and big box stores nearby.

I recently had family visit from out of town and they wanted a nice place to stay so I called the Homewood Suites in Southington. I spoke to Amanda who was able to get us rooms. Front entrance staff were very pleasant, rooms are nice, hot breakfast in the morning and a Dunkin Donuts in the parking lot. Beautiful stay.

Have not stayed in the rooms yet, but have attended many meetings there. Always greeted by the front desk staff. Meeting room is clean and bright. As busy as the hotel is, it is not noisy in the meeting room. Would not hesitate to book a room for myself, family or friends.

Had my cousins in Italy stay there and Racheal was very helpful in planning and having everything ready for check in when they arrived. She is a great asset to the hotel. I always recommend this hotel!

Very nice service. All neatly clean. Good food, rooms are comfortable, clean and look good. 4 stars instead of 5 because of little details like not having bottle openers/corkscrews and the bathtub fills up of water even if you remove the sewer plug

It is hard to beat this group of amazing people. I truly believe that the atmosphere comes from the top down, and I believe that this is my favorite place to stay in Hartford metro area. The service is impeccable ...you only have to ask once for assistance. They know your name and where you like to stay in the hotel.I even got a Christmas card from the staff here. They really set the bar high for all of the other competition

Very nice, clean hotel. Seems pretty new. The room was spacious and very comfortable with a good shower. The breakfast had a good selection and the seating area is also very good.

Stopped for a quick night stay and was pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade to a king suite! Very clean and everyone was friendly. Didn't get to sample the free breakfast because we had to hit the road.

Good location. Friendly and professional staff. Clean and well maintained. Somewhat noisy as the it is a wood frame building, you can hear people in the rooms above. Kitchen in my room was lacking some equipment.

Rooms are well kept and nice. Staff were friendly. Location is a nice quiet town, close to the first amusement park ever built. I recommend having a car a lot of stuff are within a 3 miles radius.

Homewood Suites was great, has free parking and has a Dunkin Donuts in the parking lot which was great for when we were leaving back home. The facilities were nice and clean, the room we stayed in was in the first floor and was a king sized room, it was a great size for two people. My only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer! It was a great hotel for a great and affordable price and would definitely come back if I plan to visit the area again.

Weve done 2 family vacations to lake compounce and stayed overnight here and both of them are great. They have great group discounts; good evening social; responsive, nice and fast staff; nice rooms; and a good selection of breakfast. My family and I will probably do this again for sure! 👍☺️

Very good hotel..great staff and awesome rooms.
It's bit pricy but worth the cost. The rooms are spacious and include full kitchen with stove microwave and refrigerator. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is typical continental and the hotel also serves light snacks in the evening along with beer. There is a Dunkin' Donuts in the hotel campus which adds some value to already an awesome hotel.

I love the Homewood Suites because all the rooms are suites and I get a kitchen with a full size refrigerator and freezer. In the summer, it means I can.purchase ice cream that will last my stay. Also, the breakfasts are really good. A great.value for the price.

My favorite Homewood Suite within CT. I stayed all of them while here on work. This one is relatively new and it shows. The workout facility was small but very nicely put together. Would definitely recommend this one over all other Homewood Suites in CT.

Stayed here with my wife and two small children for the weekend, and had a great time in the swimming pool. The rooms were clean, updated and very quiet. Prices were very good also. Will repeat for sure.

Our stay was incredible. Upon our arrival, Rachel, at the front desk, was beyond pleasant and very personable. Our room was a studio setup and it was more than we could ask for. Breakfast was great. The manager, Morena, was very sweet. When I informed her of the lack of batter for waffles, she returned with not only more, but also to have put some waffles on the maker for me. Upon leaving, Maritza, at the front desk, was so sweet, exceptional and made my husband and I feel like family. When asked about a later check out, she made sure we didn't feel rushed and truly enjoyed our stay. Overall, one of our top choices to stay when visiting Connecticut.

Friendly staff and hotel has many amenities. The rooms are the cleanest I have ever stayed in. The have a complimentary breakfast and a happy hour Sunday through Thursday. The pool is salt water and a decent gym.

Courteous service and rooms are spacious. They have a gym, fitness center and pool on the premises. Wine/beer /Margaritas are served during their complimentary evening social.

Last minute stay. Wished it could have been longer so I could have used the hotel amenities more. Room was spacious, clean and had a classy, modern decor. I was able to enjoy the complimentary breakfast which offered a wide variety of light breakfast fare. The dining area is very quaint. I will definitely be back. This hotel is fairly..

Had a great time in the meeting room for a wedding rehersal dinner. The staff was very courteous and let us do our thing.

Nice facilities, clean room. Only issue was the insulation is sub par; I could hear everything above the floor. Difficult to sleep in.

Rooms were great! Food was free, you get what you pay for. Coffee was not hot during the night.

Home wood suites had very good, clean rooms. The breakfast in the morning was very good. The pool and work out room were great too.

Went to bring some lunch for a business meeting, the lobby was absolutely beautiful. The staff was phenomenal. Our team was so pleased with the hospitality.

The rooms are very spacious and the chocolate you get when you check in is delicious! The rooms are still swipe keyed and not NFC though.

BEST BREAKFAST EVER!!! Stayed overnight from 4/1/15 to 4/2/15 and breakfast included scrambled eggs with a touch of melted cheddar cheese, wrapped in a soft flour tortilla. In addition, they had these biscuit looking things that had cranberries and blueberries mixed inside. Unbelievably delicious!! Thanks Homewood Suites!!

Everyone has been wonderful. Valerie and Brenda , part of the kitchen staff continue to make us feel at home. The housekeeping staff, especially Mimi and Lule, are both great. They are warm and caring and do a fantastic job. You need more employees like these. They work hard day after day. They deserve a raise and insurance.
