Our family of 40 stayed here for a wedding. Service was amazing. They were very accommodating to our large group. Would highly recommend this hotel. Clean, great breakfast and awesome staff.

Rooms are huge. Staff is cordial. Only downside is that it was maybe 1/3 full, but they put all rooms side by side and on top of each other. I'd understand all the noise if it was packed.

We stayed here for 3 months while house hunting in 2016. Absolutely top notch, fantastic team, and great place to stay!

The property was pretty great. The front desk supervisor, Michelle Peralta was fantastic and had great customer service. The rooms were clean and well appointed. Breakfast and evening refreshments were of average quality, but good. We were there while we looked for a home in the Charlotte area for relocation. I'm usually a business traveler, and don't usually opt for the hotels amenities. It was nice to use the pool and evening refreshments. However, it was towards the end of a wonderful stay when I unfortunately identified bile in the pool. Upon notifying the front desk, the pool maintenance person came, scooped it out, poured chemicals in, and said it should be fine in an hour. We all left the pool disgusted. I looked out 10 minutes later, and tons of people are at the pool! No one coded the pool, warned them, etc. Upon discussion with front desk, she said she was told it was fine now. Chemicals have to work, and they water needs to be tested. I expressed my concerns with Michelle, and she was understanding. It made an otherwise great stay disappointing. In addition, the beer lines and taps should be cleaned because they couldn't get rid of the fruit flies that plagued the first floor. They swarmed at the meal and refreshment time.

I live basically walking distance to this hotel and discovered it when I got into a serious fight with my husband. Now I try to fight with him so that I can go back. I’ve stayed here three times and it’s magical. Breakfast is awesome if you wake up early. The front desk is sooo helpful and has helpful things like toothbrushes and combs if you need them

Amazing hotel! We came all the way from NYC for AAU NATIONALS and my son's didn't want to leave. Great pool and basketball court! The room was beautiful. My customer service agent Aliyah was perfect and very patient and attentive to my needs. I wish I could put her in our luggage back to NYC. Great personality. Our stay was amazing. Thanks

They have a Happy Hour at least during the week from 5:30 - 7:00 (maybe weekends) with wine and snacks. Close to lots of restaurants. Great service and comfortable suites!

My wife and I stayed here while working the 2017 PGA Tournament from August 6 thru August 13 2017, and it was one of the best experiences that we have ever had in our travels. The staff "went way out of their way" to help / assist with all questions and requests. The rooms and common areas were kept immaculate. The complementary breakfast was truly exceptional, as was the evening happy hours.

Of particular note was the professionalism of the two ladies that were working the front desk during our time there. They always had a smile for all the guests and greeted most by their names. Michelle and Natalia insured that all their guests - coming and going - received a warm and friendly greeting.

We will definitely be staying here again!

Home wood Suites is a fantastic hotel. It has great breakfast foods , and a very cool pool. The only complaint is it didnt have very good TV channels.

Everyone was extremely helpful at check in. Rooms are clean and large... and modern (very nice!) Breakfast and afternoon snacks are good. Location is convenient to shopping/restaurants...within walking distance. Would definitely recommend!

Hotel is extremely noisy. All rooms are positioned either near the basketball court, highway noise from Johnston Rd, the front loading area, or the garbage pickup area. If you're on third shift, the walls are thin enough so that you hear much of the noise from the cleaning crew. The doors to the rooms are porous enough for a lot of noise to come through, but heavy enough so that elderly patrons cannot open them easily on their own.

Keeping true to Homewood suites traditional value, staying here was one of the best decision we made. Free breakfast to some courteous staff although we did have an issue with one of the staff members there when checking in, none the less this place is a bang for the buck. Pleanty of food and restaurants nearby and the hotel itself has a kitchen if you are the cooking type.

Stayed here for the New Year's. Very nice, large clean room well stocked. Amenities were clean and upscale. Room was quite, furnishings were large, clean and modern. Slept in and didn't get to take advantage of the food but overheard from others how good it was. Nice little market place for the stuff you forgot and sundries.

Took a few minutes for anyone to come to the front desk when we walked in for check-in. But the employee was really sweet. Bed was super comfy, shower was really nice, everything was clean. No noise from traffic or other guests. Definitely would stay again.

Quiet, clean, nice staff. Wish it had an indoor pool and hot tub like many others. The outdoor pool was too chilly in June to enjoy it.

Clean rooms with good service. Food and beverage is lacking compared to other extended stay hotels we've stayed at. Don't expect much. No dish soap in the rooms is a small inconvenience that you don't realize until you need it. Sometimes you don't want to run the dishwasher for just a couple items. If you need to do laundry it's 4 quarters for a washer and 4 for the dryer.

Located near an awesome shopping center, excellent service, extremely clean and beautiful design, and the nicest rooms I have ever experienced on a hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for the American Girl package, they were so sweet to our two little ones. The girls were impressed that the staff knew their names, secretly they thought they were famous. Well who could tell they weren't? The guest even played along! This was the best hotel stay ever!

Over the last 8 months, I have had the pleasure of staying at the Homewood Suites in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte, NC for two weeks or more each month.The rooms are beautifully decorated, the kitchen modern and well appointed and the beds are extremely comfortable. The large bed pillow is the most comfortable pillow I have ever slept on. I checked the Hilton website to see if they sold them, but to no avail. I would love to know who is the manufacturer!
The staff at this location has been, not only efficient and friendly, but have gone out of their way to make me feel welcome. The front desk staff, especially Amie, have always welcomed me by name and remember my room preference when checking in.
Recently, I arrive on a Wednesday evening to check in about 7:45 and Lisa, in charge of the evening happy hour refreshments, saw me and waved. I knew it was past the closing hour and was surprised when she came up to me with a glass of wine, which she knew I usually had during the happy hour. How nice was that!
I can't say enough about Trey. He has checked me in, handled a problem with my TV, and many more tasks which I witnessed him doing. He always acknowledged to me by name whenever I would see him in the building. My last evening I found a Thank You note and balloon surprise in my room when I returned from dinner and I know Trey had something to do with that. Thank you all for making my stay at Homewood Suites, like home away from home.

The location of this hotel was perfect because it was near all the places we wanted to visit (shopping, eating, etc). Could not have asked for a better place. If you are looking for the ideal place to do as we did then this the hotel to use.

I couldn't have had a better experience at this hotel. We rented a meeting room and the staff accommodated our every need. The hotel was clean and classy, and the staff was so friendly. They checked in periodically to make sure we had everything we needed. This hotel is also in a prime location in Charlotte, super close to the interstate and you have everything you need all around the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Really nice newer hotel in a great area. If you have a LA Fitness membership bring your gym clothes because its walking distance which is a major plus for me. All of the great things to bring you to a Homewood are here. The difference over other hotels in the area is really the staff. They make you feel right at home. Very accommodating friendly bunch of people. There is also several restaurants and bars in the same complex.

Room is very spacious and beds are comfortable. AC is not cooling well. Room rate is bit expensive. Breakfast is OK

Suite was clean and comfortable. Loved how the entire hotel was decorated. Staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the grills and outdoor area. Kids can play in pool while you grill dinner and enjoy it outside. Will stay again.

Stayed for 10 days. It is a spacious and comfortable room. Full kitchen too. Breakfast is great, and the week night social with beer and wine are great too. The thing that really stands out is the staff. They were all super nice. Trey was exceptional! He went out of his way to make our stay the best possible. He is the best person I have ever met in a hotel, and I travel for a living. I have stayed at 5 star hotels that could learn something from Trey. An example. It was my last night there and I wanted to thank Trey for making our stay perfect. I saw him leaving for the day, and another guest need a charging cable for his phone. Trey offered to go to CVS and get one for him on his own time. I was so impressed, I am writing this review. So, if you need to stay in Charlotte, stay here. Thank you Hilton for Homewood Suites in Ballantyne! I am a guest for a month and I have just completed my first week. It Is comfortable (LOVE the mattress!) quiet, clean and has everything needed to subsist away from home. The best part of the stay however is the warm and welcoming staff. Most of my involvement has been with Trey Motley, who is the consummate front desk wizard. How he manages to stay so cheerful and pleasant....no matter what time of day, is pretty remarkable. Whether I need tissue or a smile....he has it.

Relocating is a stressful unsettling time and it is really a blessing to go thru this ordeal with my Ballantyne Homewood support team.

It's a newer hotel so it's very nice. Very clean and polished look to the place. Staff was friendly and there are several good residents in the parking lot.
