Very clean and comfortable breakfast from 6am to 9am however we never got up early enough to catch it lol.. a lot of restaurants around within 5 to 10 minutes of the hotel jacuzzi and pool from 9am tell 10 I think that's what we loved the most.. we had a great 2day stay looking forward to going back

Good hotel with many amenities. Good pool, working hot tub, Great sauna and good gym. Very good room that is Big and spacious, clean and comfortable. The morning staff (Shiv) Who straight away helped us out with getting a good price for the room and making us feel comfortable. ( John ) hope I have his name right. Who was generous and late night lobby staff (Dimitri) ( he gave us 2x great towels) were very helpful and accommodating. We had a bit of a problem which was not with the hotel but with a few guests and the General Manager Hanan, helped us out and compensated us for our troubles. She was very understanding and professional. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay here enjoyable. Will definitely give this hotel another try!!!!!

I stayed here a few years ago. The bathroom doorknob was literally installed backwards and put in the locked position. With floor to ceiling windows, the first thing people do is run into the bathroom to pee. Had I closed the door completely, I would have promptly locked myself in. I just thought you should know!!

OMG...best mattress ever!!! I had a slight emergency and needed a hotel room that could accommodate my dog, too. I called around 10:00pm and was relieved to hear they had a room. The staff were nice and helpful. I liked the room. While I didn’t care for the scent of the detergent used for their towels, once I got into bed my personal preference for detergent disappeared as I sank into a cloud of perfection! I have a bad back so hotel beds are usually challenging...not this time. This was the best mattress ever. I will not hesitate to use this property in the future.

Such an amazing sty! The room were clean and well maintained. The service was great, staff was friendly and food at the restaurant was delicious. Overall excellent hotel!

Our room looked pretty busted, living room tv had a bad picture and one bed had a broken frame. Table, chairs etc were scuffed worse than goodwill furniture.

Apart from the room quality, staff was friendly, especially the lady servicing the rooms, free breakfast was good, hardly any coffee though.

Overall, would not book again as I personally would opt for a cleaner, less worn room.

We have stayed at the Hyatt House in Schaumburg twice now, and I will continue to stay here whenever we are in the Chicago area. The hotel is clean and modern, the staff is friendly and helpful, the included breakfast buffet is outstanding, and the location is great. It is a wonderful place to stay, whether alone on business or on a family trip.

Excellent staff extremely helpful and so friendly. The cleaning crew is THE BEST. Very clean rooms, hotel, grounds, pool and fitness center.My stay is for 10 days and they are days of pure luxury.

Service is friendly, great breakfast, had to clean out room after it was clean, my shower was cold.

Hotel from the outside was pretty, didn't smell bad. Room was nice, but everything except for the bathroom felt a little dirty. Not sure if the bedsheets were washed, but overall, it was a good experience. Breakfast was really good, too.

Great location right off i-290. Tons of stores and restaurants less than 5 minutes away friendly staff and great breakfast buffet. Made to order omelette s . Great getaway to relax..In the pool

Great place! Room was amazingly comfortable and clean. Loved the kitchenette, was able to prepare my own meals. Had two inconveniences: Dishwasher in room was inoperable, and there was remodeling in the lobby which made it difficult to access the pool. But staff was very kind and friendly and made my stay comfortable enough to make me want to go back!

Gorgeous place with a very pleasant staff. Small but clean pool and hot tub. Breakfast is included and was presented beautifully with plenty of fresh and healthy fare. Close to all the best attractions. We would stay here again for sure!

Room was clean. AC was cold. Kitchen was nice. Morning breakfast was great. All in all nice stay.

Had a couple complaints. Water took almost 8 minutes to get warm in the shower. People at the front desk said it was because of how spread out the building was and that it was even worse in the winter. Not a good sign. (For reference, it was 75+ degrees on both days of my visit) Im my 2 bedroom suite one of the doors had a broken handle. Caused the door to be very difficult to lock. Other then those two issues, experience was great. Breakfast was good, rooms were more than reasonable, beds were comfy.

Didn't know this place was here. The aesthetics outside were awesome. I was there to drop off, so I didn't go to the room, but from the look of the lobby, I'm sure they were just as nice.

Regularly choose Hyatt hotels because they are typically reliable... Not the case at this location. First room had an odor that was bad enough to request a reassignment, the second had a used condom on the floor and a sticky headboard. The staff was very accommodating and tried to make things right at least.

We stayed in a room on the 5th floor. There was a small kitchenette with a fridge and two burner stove, a toaster and microwave as well as a sink. The washroom was spacious and the shower had good pressure. The bed was comfortable and there was a pull out sofa bed as well in case of extra guests.

We were excited about good reviews and a good price on a third-party booking website, however the experience we had was not good. Nothing major but many little things. There was a used washcloth in the tub when we arrived at our room. The headboard was sticky. There was construction blocking off the lobby, so you get to the pool or breakfast room you had to cut through the back stairs and across the second floor. The breakfast table was sticky. Previous reviews said they had a "good breakfast" which it was not. I surmise that (maybe from the construction) the food was prepared from frozen; french toast, powder eggs, mini sausage, not terrible, but not good. The sauna didn't heat well, and looked poorly constructed. The ceiling in the pool area had big stains and a few brown (something leaking?) tiles. Very friendly staff and a nice location.

The hotel room was spacious and clean. Gym was very clean and nice too. Only thing is that the swimming pool was small for the hotel size making it busy and less clean

Property was under construction, but that was not a major issue. The breakfast was lacking compared to other Hyatt Houses and there was no bar. The 6th floor smelled of cigarette smoke in the hall, thankfully not in the room. The room itself was nice and in good shape.

Outstanding!!! We would definitely come back here if we should need to travel back to Schaumburg,IL. Very friendly,very clean,the kitchette had everything that a kitchen would need,and if they did not have it you could call the front desk n ask if they have it in their borrow items!! I like that they do not bug you daily for house keeping and they leave it up to you to call when you need or want it. So A excellent place to stay!!

I usually love this place. I stay here quite often. The people that work here are top notch. With that said, it seems to have taken a quality hit as of late. The pool water is not always warm like normal, it seems to be cold most times I come now. The Hot tub jets are not working 100%, in fact the last day we were there, they didn't seem to be really working at all.

They cancelled the evening social which is a big reason why I choose this hotel, it's part of the Hyatt value. Didn't know until after checkin.

Rooms are great, always clean. Had a problem with the bathroom light, service guy was up within 10 minutes to fix. Top notch room service too. If I had any complaint, it would be that there aren't any really firm pillows, but this is a personal preference, and not a slight on them.

All in all, I would probably stay again, but maybe with hesitation. A lot of hotels provide what they provide, and their people are great, but with the colder water, broken hot tub, no evening social, nothing is standing out for me. Would be only 3 stars if not for the people who work here.

This place needs some TLC. The rooms have harsh lighting and need updating. There was a significant amount of noise coming into the room. Nice touch was the friendly staff and the included breakfast.

We needed a place to stay for our family of 4 after a fire at our house. After looking at a number of places, we were impressed with how warm and friendly all the staff was. They went out of their way to help us as we dealt with our situation. We stayed for 10 days until we went to rental housing.
Outstanding staff. Thanks for all your help. Hope management reads this review.

Very nice staff. Driver got lost. Wasn't end of the world. Breakfast is standard Hyatt fare. Their cage free eggs taste horrible. Omelette station is good. Walls were thin.

Convenient location for Northwest suburbs, driving or public transit to the city, or even walking to nearby restaurants and bars. Plenty of parking, which is free. Good variety of options for breakfast buffet, including my favorite, the omelet station. The bathroom spacious but provides little storage and the lighting is not very flattering. Rooms provide enough floor space to work out, which makes up for the relatively small gym. The evening socials are convenient but are not open very long. Good internet speeds. Self service coin laundry very convenient for constant travelers like ourselves.

The location is perfect if you are looking somewhere to stay with a lot to do. The rooms were extremely clean, and pretty awesome that they are suites and have everything you would need to cook a meal. The beds were really comfy and I didn't want to get up! I would stay here again.

This is a nice place. As I have said before, Hyatt Place hotels are pretty typical as far as space, cleanliness, and convenience. This place isn't very personable like most. I just felt like an extra person being checked in and out. They have sacrificed customer service because of being so busy. No one even looks you in the eye and all the smiles seemed fake.

Fantastic breakfast including an omellete bar. Nice little pool with a hot tub. Has a basketball court outside. Awesome restaurant across the st.

Excellent service! The front desk staff was absolutely amazing. Without me even requesting it she offered me a free upgrade to a suite with 2 rooms to give us more room since I was traveling with my 3 young kids. Clean, nice rooms. Clean hotel, clean pool. Great price. Staff were very helpful and friendly when we were looking to order food. Staff offered to assist with luggage and the return of the luggage cart. Very happy with my !

Nice rooms with full kitchens. Breakfast included complete with waffles and omelets. We did have a fire drill at 5:30 am on Sunday.
1st elevator was down all weekend and smoke was detected in the 2nd which triggered the fire alarms. I heard they brought in extra help to carry new guests luggage up the stairs.
People on our floor partied in the hall until 3 pm. Young man at desk talked to them twice.
Next day they said we could move. I thought they should of warned the guests for being rude and not just make us move and have new quests put up with problem.

Loved my stay here. Great room, clean. Loved the kitchen to be able to bring my own food since I was there several days. Free breakfast had lots of choices. Friendly & helpful staff. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Lots to do in the area. Driving in the city each day, but well worth the commute to get such a great room at a great rate!! Would definitely stay here again!

Nice clean place for extended stays. The place itself is a little old but everything functions. Staff is friendly and the facilities are decent.

Wonderful for a long term stay. Their rooms have a kitchen with a stove and full fridges/freezers, along with pots pans and utensils of all sorts. They have a pool, free breakfast with fresh made omelets and a basketball court. They even upgraded us partly through our stay for free because we were slightly unsatisfied with the size of our room. Great atmosphere, very nice place!

The staff was helpful. The rooms were definitely something I was looking for, and loved it. Very roomy..felt like a mini home away from home. I will be staying here from now on when I come to visit chi town!

We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious and clean. Complimentary breakfast was exceptional - loved the omelet bar! The reason I did not give it five stars is because the pool is very small, the water is cold and there were never enough pool towels.

Great Place. Room has a kitchenette with all you need to make a meal on a cook top. Has a full size fridge, and a small dishwasher. They have a buffet style breakfast in the morning.

It's always a pleasure staying at the Hyatt House. The location is fairly close to a lot of shopping in Schaumburg, the rooms are large and there's a nice gym, pool and mini basketball court in the hotel.

The rooms were clean and nice. The staff was polite and greeted us when we returned. The breakfast was ok and they had a custom omelet bar.

Provides 2 meals to people staying here. Has a small kitchen to cook your own food. Close to several places to eat. Some even cater to the hotel. I enjoyed my stay.

5 stars. I've been to many Hyatts and this is hands down my favorite. It's very well kept, cozy, quiet, and the staff are personable and friendly. Never have I been treated so well when staying at a hotel. They left a free bottle of Chardonnay in the fridge with a card that said "happy new year" and a very sweet handwritten card by all of the staff thanking me for being a long time Hyatt member. It made me feel appreciated and was an awesome welcoming. I'm elated that I chose this Hyatt to enjoy my birthday at.

Stayed in room 320. Great place. Super clean and very friendly staff. Especially Ron.

This hotel is worth the money and is perfectly clean and friendly, with an excellent breakfast. On the other hand, some works of my room would have driven me a bit nuts if I'd been there for a prolonged stay. The closet was tiny. The room was awkwardly set up, with no end tables for the suite's couch or towel racks near the sink. Finally, the vent in the bathroom was very noisy, probably because I was on the top floor. These are picky small issues, though, and I would readily stay there again.

Hyatt house hotels have a good formula. THe rooms are large. Each room has a kitchenette, with a full size refrig.
The Hyatt houses have a morning breakfast, which is pretty extensive, plus omelets made to order. Midweek they have an afternoon social with wine, beer and food.
This particular Hyatt house did a good job all around.

This hotel did was it was supposed to. It did not exceed expectations, but it met them.
For starters, we had room 433, a two bedroom suite. The room was clean. The beds were quite comfortable with plenty of clean sheets.
The kitchen stove/microwave/fridge/dishwasher performed well.
Room was VERY VERY quiet at night.
Doug at the front desk was helpful and welcoming.
Pool was older style, but functional.
Downsides: Only 1 kitchen chair in the room + a computer chair/
No separate work desk (shares eating table).
Starting to look old (paint and trim were "past their prime".
Carpet was worn.
Halls smelled heavily of cleaning products.

Social hour with complimentary beer, wine and appetizers was nice. Free breakfast was good and had lots of options including made to order omelets. We stayed in a two bedroom suite. Bedrooms VERY small. Door won't even open all the way because it can't open past the corner of the bed. In room heating/cooling system is terrible. Room is either too hot or freezing cold. Shower drain backed up once as did the toilet. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Good location very close to a large mall and tons of shopping and places to eat.

The second time we made reservations about a month in advance. When we got there my wife's info was in the computer. And they accidentally charged her account twice. But it didn't show up as paid. The bank says it was. Let us stay anyway, and paid in the morning.

Stayed in 531. Nice room. Full kitchen. Smallish Tv. Great free breakfast with omolette bar. However their shuttle should start earlier than 730. Like maybe 7? Also they should have jogging map suggestions.

Clean and spacious rooms. The kitchen is stocked with amenities you would need for a longer stay. Staff were very polite, friendly and helpful.

Stayed a couple of nights. The staff were very friendly. The service was good. Room was very nice. I loved the kitchen. The internet was mostly good, but it would abruptly cut out for a minute or so with random regularity. But the speed mostly compensated for that.

Very clean and excellent staff. I really liked the setup and how it truly feels like a cool apartment you are living in. The amenities were thoughtful such as having dishes and glassware. I recommend if you need a setup like this.

It was very very nice, the rooms are high quality, the showers are are very fancy, the pools were OK but the sauna was very relaxing. The service was wonderful.

Room was nice and big. There was quite a lot of good food included in the free breakfast. The location was close to the mall, so that was helpful.

Each time we visit the Chicago area which is about 3 or 4 times per year, we stay in this hotel because of its location to so many places like IKEA and Woodfield Mall and many wonderful restaurants. When you walk in, the lobby is bright and clean. The rooms are spotless and the 2 bedroom suite is perfect for families with the capability to sleep 5 or 6 at an affordable price.
The free breakfast is great, not just continental and is very satisfying with a variety of foods from cold cereal to omlettes.
The staff are very courteous and accommodating. You will not be disappointed in your stay.
