It was a get together for my Grandmother's birthday. We were placed at the bottom level in a room that had access to the walkway leading to the edge of the river that provided a nice view when we opened the doors in the back of the room. The service was excellent and they dealt with all of the frustrating circumstances with the utmost professionalism as well as providing great food and other commodities

Our favorite hotel in Rochester. Spacious and clean rooms with a kitchen, feels like home. Generous breakfast, good facilities, very helpful staff and a great view of the river and park.

Nice view of river. Easy walk on pedestrian bridge to campus. Small pool but no competition. Great breakfast with friendly staff. Room was comfortable and clean. Elevator was too slow..

Nice rooms right by the university. The neighborhood wasn't great but it suited our needs for a large group coming in to town for a wedding. We got group rates that were reasonable and breakfast was served every morning.

I love the Stabridge Suites. The Director, Front Desk, the Food Service, the Food Service Staff and the Staff in Housekeeping. They are very Professional, Friendly and Courteous. I would highly recommend these Suites to all of my friends and Family. Wonderful people....

Beautiful spot for a professional meeting. The location is in the center of everything so it was very convenient. Plenty of space for a large group. Clean bathrooms and staff willing to cater to our temp requests more than once!

We enjoyed the quiet fire pit, right outside of the indoor pool where our kids played & had fun. Something for everyone; relaxing OR exciting - and a fantastic breakfast. Great place to stay in Rochester!

Pretty nice hotel, nice spacious room, right on the river, decent hot breakfast! However if you have allergies, the sheets are not hypoallergenic. They smell like chlorine. My eyes, throat and nose all puffed up after a couple hours under the sheets.

Hotel is in a good location, central to just about everything. For the most part the hotel is very nice with a few exceptions. The pool was very, very cold. The hot tub wouldn't turn on because the timer was broke and the front desk had to turn it on. A simple sign would have made that easier. Plus it was very very very hot. Couldn't last 5 minutes because of the heat. I went to use the treadmill and while I was running on it it just stopped dead and I ran into the display board! Found out the fuse was tripped. Told the front desk and received a "oh sorry". Overworked and needs replacement! When we first checked into our room the heater was running continuous, which was odd. The master bedroom window was open half way and it was 30 degrees outside!
On the plus side, the rooms are spacious and the kitchen is nice to have. View was very nice.

I reserved two, two bedroom suites for my family on a Saturday night. The Tony's were very spacious and nice. Very nice pool and hot tub. The breakfast was well stocked by a very nice server. The breakfast items were a nice change from a HI Express. The front desk crew were friendly and accommodating.

Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was a full spread with waffles, eggs, omelette fixings, fresh fruit, bread/muffins/bagels, cereal, etc. There was plenty of space to sit, with a great view of the Genesee River. The friendly staff made the accommodations even better. Everyone that I talked to was very helpful and nice. The hotel offers a free shuttle to anywhere within 3 miles (including the airport!). It runs until 10:30am (I can't remember when it starts), and then 5pm-9pm. The driver was also very nice and friendly. Overall, a great stay. I wish we were able to stay here longer!

I'm still here for another few days but everything has been pretty good! No issues with anything really other then the smell of the hotel room itself (personally don't like it but isn't a bad small or anything like that, just not my personal preference). Breakfast is nice every morning and the pool is cool too!

I stayed 11 nights, it was a great place. The rooms were nice and clean. The staff was really helpful and friendly. The price was great! I stay in a lot of hotels and motels. I will definitely stay here again.

The staff at the front desk were extremely friendly and helpful. I had a late check-in and they were more than accommodating. The one bedroom suite is incredibly comfortable. THIS is now my new hotel that I will stay at Every time I have to stay in Rochester. Again... very happy.

It's a great location, right on the river. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, though they could use some new couches. They had to relocate me to a different room due to new carpeting but they totally made up for it by leaving a 6-pack of beer that I exchanged for a bottle of wine. They were very accommodating.

Overall the hotel is pretty good. The wifi could be quicker and easier to connect to (couldn't get my Android phone to connect at all; didn't have a problem with my computer), but I wasn't around enough for this to bother me too much. The staff was really helpful, and the free shuttle service around Rochester made life super easy. Never a bad thing having a happy hour with free beer every night too! The included breakfast is relatively simple, just a half-step up from a typical continental breakfast.

Stayed for work. No complaints. Really nice that they have a social event every night with some food and beer, nice pool, workout area, and free laundry (supplies not included).

I was there for a local conference for 2 consecutive days. I did not spend the night, rather commuted there. It is very clean. The location is great! The deck out back is right on the water. They had breakfast and lunch for our group, both were good. After spending some time there, I'd definitely stay there w my family. The staff was super nice and everything from tables and chairs to carpets and bathrooms were very clean.

Room and hotel was clean, bed was comfortable and it's convenient to the airport. Nice restaurants are within a short drive but I didn't find any walkable. The view to the river is nice. The front staff was nice and presentable. I would stay there again.

Room was clean. Bed and linens were comfortable. Easy access to local food/highways. Breakfast was simple but good. Kitchenette was good. Liked the access to walking trails.

Didn't like the couch/chair, our suite was a bit on the small size. Bathroom was not very updated, there were some wear and tear with the walls, floor, etc. could use some new fixtures. Elevator was slow. Pool was ok but kids were diving, doing belly flops, no one from the hotel came to monitor etc while we were there 45 min. Also the hot tub was broken :/

I attended an orientation for my new job at Strong Memorial Hospital. It was pleasant enough. The setting was clean and well lit. There was some AV trouble with the hotel equipment that delayed our start by about 20 min. Otherwise it was fine. The views of the river were beautiful from the back balcony.

Nice setup for a conference. Several monitors throughout the room meant everyone could see the presentation. Staff responded very quickly when a temperature change was requested.

Perfect location for our visit to Rochester University. Rooms were fine, we slept well. Complimentary breakfast was ok.

West facing room near the elevator. Very nice over all. Room isn't bad (it was clean and practical, with kitchen appliances) but it's not high end like a nice Hilton or something either. (But not fair comparison given the price). Plenty of amenities. Breakfast stays open long and there is special gathering of guests with free snacks every Monday to Wednesday evenings. Back patio area near the commons/breakfast area is very nice with fire pit and river side walkway. TV has a bunch of free on demand available. Room near elevator can be a bit annoying because of the constant chime and noise from people using it. Also, no exhaust fan in the bathroom. There is a vent but no switch. And I'm not sure if there is a fan in there.

Our stay was very nice although the pool was not in service during our stay. I would have love to have seen eggs with out bacon in them for people who don't eat meat or pork. The staff was very welcoming and polite. They did offer late check out for IHG members witch was very much needed. Over all it was I very nice stay would i stay again YES.

Went here for a wedding reception and was pleasantly surprised by how great the food tasted. Usually hotel catering is bland but, they were not! The staff were also very polite and timely with their service.

This was a great place for part of our family vacation. We had a 2-bedroom suite. It was nice and had a good kitchen. Having 2 bathrooms was also great.

Excellent place. For 130 I had a mini apartment. Worth the money for sure. My only complaint is that, although it's in an ok location, a couple blocks down is the ghetto.

Great hotel, room had great service and full kitchen, beautiful view of river and right next to a park, free breakfast and great people working there. Pool was closed which stunk.

We stayed here back in February. When we arrived, we found out that we had missed the info. on the web site that the pool was under construction. My sister and I were furious as we had selected this hotel due to the pool and we had kids in the cars who couldn't wait to swim. I cannot even express how accommodating the staff was. They were calling other places to find a comparable suite for us with a pool. They remained so calm and kind even though we were so upset. They ended up sending us to the YMCA pool, giving us a huge discount on our already reasonable rate for our suite, and when we returned from swimming and dinner, we each had movies and care packages left in our room. We were blown away by their kindness. On top of that, the suites are amazing! We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend Staybridge Suites to anyone.

Room was quite nice: spacious, well appointed, and clean. The staff was very friendly at check-in, and again during breakfast the next morning. We will definitely consider staying here again on our next visit.

Great location for University. Comfortable rooms. River view is lovely. 5min walk to campus. Free shuttle anywhere within 5 mins morning and evening​. No great restaurants within walking distance but I'd come again!

The room was great, with two bedrooms and three beds. The breakfast bar, which I value the most. The service is great, as it is both effective and unobtrusive. Staying has been an overall positive experience.

I'm one day into my 2 week stay, and I'm enjoying the room so far. Comfy bed, polite staff, decent internet, and a well stocked (with utensils) kitchen. However, the chopping knife was as dull as a butterknife so bring a sharpener. I haven't had an opportunity to eat breakfast or their free appetizer and drink social nights yet, but I look forward to it.

I've delivered food to guests in this hotel since it has opened. The customer service has always be exceptional while the establishment is beautiful and spacious. It's one of my favorite hotels to deliver to.

Located by the Genesee River across U of R. Great river view with patio available for relaxation by the river. Rooms are well kept and allows small pets with a small deposit. Complimentary continental breakfast and good staff, fairly cheap prices.

This is my first stay at a Staybridge. Besides the Intercontinental, These are for sure the best of the IHG hotels.. My room has everything. Breakfast and dinner is included a few days during the week. Really is a fantastic place for anyone staying 3 nights or more.

I am part of a medical study on the recovery of vision due to strokes because I was involved in a car accident a few years ago that made me suffer strokes in the vision areas of my brain. There is a research team in the university whom my parents found at enlisted me in the program. Staybridge has been their recommended place to stay each time I return for therapy, and I am very pleased every time with their friendly staff, clean rooms, and great events.

I provide textile services. Staff is pleasant most of the time, but a few occasions people have shown visible hate towards their job.

Be careful which suite you book. I accidentally booked the Studio Suite instead of the One Bedroom Suite. They were the same price. I realized this upon arrival, but they would not switch me to an alternate.

The night clerk (8pm) was harried and overwhelmed.

Note that the hotel allows pets. If you have pet allergies, you may want to find a different hotel.

Otherwise, it was okay. The hotel is a short walk to U of R across a nice pedestrian bridge. The breakfast was good. There was hot cider in the evening at the arrival desk, which was a nice touch.

Right by the river, and very scenic with running trails that follow the river. The location is very quiet, only light traffic. It's a 5 minute drive to the airport.

Our room was clean, I had to put the sheets on the sofa bed myself, and I found several stains on the sheets in the closet. They promptly replaced these, and apologized.

The in-room coffee machine was not working quite correctly. The lid was broken and unless you position correctly, the coffee didn't drip into the carafe correct and you get a counter of coffee instead. They also don't replace the used coffee packet once you use it unless you request because they expect you to get coffee as part of the breakfast.

Within walking distance of the hotel, you won't find many restaurants and amenities. You'll have to drive for better dining and shopping opportunities.

For the price, I found this hotel a reasonable value since it's close to the airport and the quiet.
