What a truly wonderful oasis in Charlotte NC. The staff is amazing! Jane and her team are the best. Great breakfast and evening reception. Rooms are very comfortable and more than spacious.

This was an interesting property. There was a pond on the one side, an outdoor pool and small basketball court. Instead of one big building there were five or so. Felt more like an apartment complex than hotel. I was a little disappointed in the breakfast. One day the sausage wasn't very good and the next there wasn't a side meat. Make your own waffles and other typical fair. I had an issue where my fridge didn't work so I lost some groceries. The clerk at the counter did a decent job of replacing with things from their little commissary. I would probably not stay here if I visit the area again in the future. I'm a previous trip I stayed at the Springhill suites which is actually better located for my needs and I recall it being a little nicer overall.

Excellent value for the money. The rooms are comfortable and clean. An added value is free breakfast and evening social gathering from 5-7pm. Free food and wine / beer served.

Very nice place to stay..I highly recommend this hotel if you're ever in Charlotte. Plwnty of space..full size fridge, stove and microwave. It had a dishwasher, and clean dishes including pots and pans.

Always enjoy a stay at home wood suites. This one is great location with easy access to light rail(literally across the street). Really close to ikea, shopping, and other restaurants.

This is a great place to stay if you are away from home. The suites are beautiful and very clean. The staff is friendly, inviting and accommodating. If you spend one night or ten you will return and recommend to friends and family. The area is prefect for whatever type of life you are looking for.

The Homewood Suites were very comfortable and well kept. The staff were very friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

The suites were spacous and the bedroom included over head ceiling fan and AC. The suite also featured a mini kitchen (fridge/freezer, dishwasher, sink and coffee maker) Unfortunately due to timing the pool was closed for my stay. They also offered a buffet style breakfast through 9 o'clock. It is also located in a really nice central area. It's about a 5-10 minute walk to the light rail and about the same distance to a small shopping center that includes an iHop and Walgreens which is nice for last minute things. If you're driving it's about 20-30 minutes away from the downtown area.

Located right off the light rail in a somewhat sketchy area(plasma center next door). Older property, but newly renovated. Some rooms are exterior entrance. What makes this hotel 4 stars is the staff. They're top-notch.

I enjoyed the room and space... It's better than being in a small hotel room... Being able to cook on a stovetop was great... You didn't have to eat out all the time... Good variety of food to choose from at breakfast... The front desk, housekeeping and maintenance staff were all professional and very friendly... Great location and very clean... My only complain would be the floors are squeaky... So as you walk across the floor you hear it and the people below you can hear it too...

Homewood Suites was the best stay. My apartment caught on fire and I went to stay at Home suites thru my insurance company. This place made me feel so at Home and the most exciting part besides The stay was the food they feed you a Complimentary Breakfast and Socal Dinner. Delicious food, awesome setup, The staff was Amazing. From the Front desk on down to the cleaning staff. Everyone was Friendly, Amazing Staff. Loved it.

Easy parking, convenient location, great breakfast and happy hour buffets. I will definitely consider this hotel for my next Charlotte stay.

This hotel is located 10 minutes from downtown Charlotte, rail system is across the street. Rates and rooms are good. Family oriented with free breakfast and nightly reception.

Great hotel. It's based off an apartment complex so it's got some outdoor walkways which does suck in increment weather but otherwise, clean rooms, spacious, nice amenities. A in my book.

Rooms are spacious but lacking in maintenance. I wasn't very happy, as an Hhonors Diamond member, to get a room outside of the main building, with an exterior entrance in front of a lake. The were so many mosquitoes!
The breakfast gets 1 star. Eggs were terrible and every time I tried to get coffee (4 times in three days) they only had decaf. Not enough utensils (had to wait several minutes to get a fork) and overall bad quality food.
Did not interact much with front desk but the one conversation I had was very professional and pleasant.

I really enjoyed the hotel. The rooms were great! The breakfast was okay, but they were out of half of the offerings and there wasn't much to have. I left a shirt in the room by accident and called the next day and no one ever called me back about it.

The room was very clean, spacious, and homey, but what really makes this hotel special is the amazing staff. I just moved to Charlotte, and a problem with the apartment I was supposed to move into turned a one-night stay into a week-long one, which would have been a horrible way to start life in a new place if not for the kindness of the Homewood staff. They went above and beyond not only to accommodate me and my mom during our unexpected stay but also to be friendly and helpful every chance they got. They gave me so much advice and encouragement about my move, it honestly made the fiasco with my apartment worth it.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff was welcoming and accommodating. Our room was great and comfortable as well!

Two things against it. Have to walk outside to get to breakfast. The biggest issue I have is the breakfast time 0630 instead of 0600 like most places. I won't stay here again.

Hotel was very comfortable and the staff was incredible. We had to stay here for several days due to a flooded house. The staff made our stay very tolerable considering all we have been through. We can't thank them enough. The room feels like an apartment.

The room is excellent. Lots of space and it feels like an apartment with a separate kitchen, living area, bathroom and bedroom. Nice large TV's. The bed is surprisingly comfortable. The breakfast isn't very good. That's the only complaint I have. There is a nice lake on premises and they are very pet friendly. Highly recommend this place.

Concept of two bedrooms is fantastic! Lakeview breeds mosquitoes. Was woken up by next door guests (could actually make out every word) at 4 a.m. and above guest at 5:30... walking above very noisy. Room appeared clean, didn't feel clean. Eggs at breakfast were appalling! Waffles good, coffee too. Staff was pleasant.

Older place. Recently remodeled. Big rooms. I prefer a hotel all under one roof. Friendly and helpful staff. If you need a full kitchen, this is the place.

Relaxing. The lake was awesome! Yhe pool and rooms were nice. Majority of the staff was Customer Service oriented.

Homey as they name the hotel. Spacious, clean and conformable. It is rigth in middle of brand new shopping area and very close to Concord. They serve real fruits. Switched it from Garden Inn.

Stayed overnight after a concert at PNC Pavilion. Location was convenient and close to the venue which worked out great. Took an Uber to the hotel after the concert. The room was nice - had a ceiling fan which was a plus for us since we like the fan on when sleeping. The room had a door that opens to the outside which I don't love but we had no issues. Otherwise, no frills but I didn't expect luxury - we had a nice, comfortable hotel in a good, convenient location which is exactly what we needed. We will stay here again next time we are in Charlotte for a concert.

Clean room. Good Breakfast. Great location. We stayed for 5 days. The last day our air wasn't working and they credit us the full day and changed our room. Although one of the AC units still wasn't working. Room service is Amazing!

My parents are in town visiting for a week and staying at this hotel. I love the area and set up, there is a nice lake near the room my parents were staying in that was very peaceful. They had a hard time in the beginning because all the burners to the stove of their first room did not work and the second room they were given did not have a phone. The third room was nice but then the maid forgot to give them a bedsheets and they only had a comforter. The manager DID kindly fix all of the problems.

Spacious room, really nice staff, good selection at breakfast and tea/coffee. Room finishes could use some sprucing up; certain things felt outdated.

What I loved: The staff. They blew my mind. The night desk manager did everything right and was very professional, courteous, and sincere. The next shift was just as good. The breakfast. Scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns - all piping hot and fresh. Waffles, yogurt with fresh fruit, Oatmeal, bagels. What's not to love? What I didn't love: The guests above us seemed to be up all night and heavy walkers. There also seemed to be a teenage girl party right outside our window, though I couldn't find anyone around. The rooms were just remodeled and while comfortable and clean, the doors weren't aligned properly (couldn't close without slamming), the bedroom mirrors were cracked badly, and the living room phone didn't have a dial tone. All told, I loved the service, but not the accommodations.

My family and I stayed here for one night after an exhausting to IKEA, which is just a few minutes away. We were pleasantly surprised at the updates that had been done to modernize our suite. The size of the site was perfect, having a bedroom separate from the living room and kitchenette. We were also excited to see that a crib for our toddler had already been delivered to our room, which is not usually the case in other places we've stayed. Breakfast was on point, with eggs, sausage, hash browns, bacon, fruit, pastries, and waffles! This hotel would have been even better had it been within walking distance of the large shopping center and restaurants in the area. However, it was only a couple minute drive to get to restaurants, shopping, and UNC Charlotte.

We only stayed at this hotel for one night but I could've stayed all week! It was really clean, no stuffy room smell, well thought out ( tons of towels in the bathroom instead of the standard 3) full kitchen and nice sitting area! The staff were super friendly and personable! The beds were comfy! Really soft sheets! The only change I would make is to have a wider shade on the window the room was a little lighter than typically found in hotel rooms.Very convenient to food and shopping. I've stayed in a lot of hotel rooms and a wide variety of chains and I would stay here again in a heart beat!

Room was super quiet. A very clean room. Parking accommodations were so easy. A convenient and safe location. An efficient staff. All of that AND a home like feel. We couldn't have asked for much more than that. Breakfast was great and coffee to go!

Enjoyed the layout of this place,there are several buildings laid out like college dormitories. Place could use some security although. Buildings toward back are quiet but also isolated & not very well lit in the evening . Front desk is in main building so should something happen there...good forbid,I'm just saying.
Room wise it's like your own little apartment while on vacation. This place is #5 on my list of top 10 favorite hotels. And #2 on favorite hotel chains

The rooms were clean and nice, the work out room was small but every thing worked and was in good condition. They serve hot breakfast but there didn't refill the eggs for a long time which was disappointing. However, the coffee was actually decent and satisfying

Homewood Suites are the best if both worlds when you're working. There's a full kitchen, but you still get free breakfast and an evening social certain days. This property is comfortable and clean. The pool is nice. Staff is professional. Very comfy stay.

Very reasonable in price and incredibly friendly staff. Room is spacious and clean. Very quiet.

Amenities (Swim pool , Cook out, Fitness center) are good.
House keeping and Front desk were supportive .
Mattresses in the room are not up to Hilton Standard.
More varieties in Breakfast and Dinner , But quality is not up to mark.
Overall - Great hotel only for short stay.

One night stay. Have stayed for concerts and will always stay there. Clean. Courteous staff. Easy access. Too bad there is so much construction around them. They are great. Highly recommended

Homewood Suites is a great place to stay. Top service, comfortable rooms, and typically good breakfast included in your stay. Only in this recent trip did they miss the mark the first morning with their food. However, every other time I've stayed at this spot they have had good food.

Nice place. Free dinner Monday thru Thursday. Not much more that you could ask for.

Rooms are always clean and well maintained. The only gripe is you have to get ice from the front desk but isnt too terrible. If thats my only complaint then were golden
