My experience was great, the staff is all friendly, everything was clean, and the rooms are really nice. The hallways we're really hot, almost like the a/c was broke, but my room was nice and cool so it wasn't a big deal. The evening social with drinks and food was really nice and unexpected. The food was totally passable, nothing amazing, but good. I would stay here again and recommend it to friends.

The staff is friendly and goes out of their way to make you feel at home. The rooms are very comfortable, like living in your own apartment, but with daily maid service.

Love the breakfast buffet and 24/7 fresh fruit and coffee, tea or hot chocolate.

This little quaint spot nestled in between a business and residential area is perfect for that little get away. It's not far from local and major retail stores, the rooms are decorated in soft tones that surround you for your relaxation and comfort. Now, the fitness room is small, but doable, the breakfast was good, the service was Great, the persons at the front desk were awesome, just represented the hotel above and beyond the call . I loved staying at the Homewood Suites in Plano, TX. Great place to stay. I would recommend for anyone to stay.

They're currently doing renovations to property. They are very upfront and communicative about all the changes. Area of town is safe and close to shopping and restaurants. The bed was hands down on the most comfortable beds I've ever stayed in. They also had an outdoor saltwater pool. Breakfast had lots of options from granola bar, fresh fruit, eggs, meat and potatoes, waffles and other pastries. We were lost at the last minute that we forgot our pack n play and come to the rescue. All in all a great price!

Rooms are fine but were never stocked during our stay. Housekeeping was not good at all. They kept forgetting to service our room and when they did come, either forgot to take out trash, or vacuum or provide towels or toiletries.

Decent place to stay in a good location.. however the breakfast is not that good. I have stayed in home wood suites in other places, they have much better choices than here.

Clean large rooms. Walls somewhat thin, neighbor had teleconference going on and I could hear it all. Nice breakfast and swimming pool sparkles.

The beds are super comfortable..breakfast is an array of healthy selections...the social evenings are good...great staff...love the digital key access to rooms with the use of your phone

It's only a 3 star hotel, but overall the place was clean enough and the staff was very accommodating.

It was really nice looking outside and in the lobby. The room was for the most part updated but displays major signs of neglect. Towel racks half pulled from wall. Cracks in the walls. Broken outlet covers. Tub appears it hasn't been scrubbed or properly cleaned in probably a year. I would not recommend it.

Pretty outdated compared to other Homewood Suites I've been to. Room was small, cabinets and appliances were all old, and the hallway was dirty and smelled like smoke.

It is very nice, but I was expecting more from a suite. Comes with fully operational kitchen including a dishwasher... If you are by yourself or accompanied by one and will be staying in the area... This would be the number one pick!

bugers on the wall bybthe bedroom. waited 45 min to be checked in because room was not ready. tued floating in toliet when i arrived. hotel is dated and needs upgrades. bed was worn and sucked.

If Homewood Suites had a Motel 6 version, this place would be it... Dark, dreary, very old and musty. That said, staff is very friendly and the food is better than average.

This is my first time on this Hotel and is on business purposes. But I'll have to say hope is not the last one. I will like to stay for vacation with my family. This is a really nice and relaxing hotel where they serve hot breakfast and from Monday to Thursday they have even dinner include. The room have and entire kitchen full equip even with dishwasher. On my next vacation I will check this line of hotel to see if they are on the area

Clean, roomy and convenient, but needs some updating. Evening reception is great, breakfast has a variety of items, but hot foods were cold.

Quiet, safe hotel for me and my kid. Breakfast was hot, fresh and full. Sausage patties..not the cheap kind, eggs,biscuits,potatoes fritters, waffles, cereal, fruit..you name it. All temp controlled and clean with staff standing by. My favorite was the availability of hot drinks like tea and coffee at all hours...my kid likes the endless hot chocolate and fruit. At the end if the day i was so happy to relax with some chilled wine as my kid munched on chips. Dishes, pots pans, silverwear all available in room. A quick stop to wholefoods with their free shuttle and your good to go! Bed plush and soft clean!!!with comforter available..yea 😏rooms are more traditional looking..I don't mind as long as its clean!

Nice accommodations. The rooms are clean spacious. Only problem is one of our rooms didn't cool as well but it wasn't too bad for two night stay.

The rooms are decent and the location is good, but the walls are pretty thin and we were staying next to the pool so it was loud. Using white noise apps on our phones though we were able to drown out the noise. Overall a good value.

The staff and workers were very helpful during our stay. The breakfast was very good. We stayed there for three days. The accomadations were comfortable. The hotel was completely booked, but we rested very well.

My boyfriend's mother is staying here for a few days and I helped her settle in last night. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful lobby. Clean, spacious and beautifully decorated room. She was very pleased.

Stayed here several times. It's convenient to my office in Plano. They have small plate offerings for dinner with wine, draft beer & soda. Rooms are usually clean & beds are very comfortable

Staff was great!! We had a sick one, 4 legged mbrs & flustered me, but Curtis @ Front Desk went above beyond helping us each day and stay. Housekeeping was very gracious after tardy for our late check out.. Manager was also helpful and available...All around great experience, clean hotel & nice people.

The hotel is in a nice area with lots of restaurants nearby. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The was a full refrigerator, microwave and stove with 2 burners. Every room had a separate televison, with awesome picture quality. The hotel is clearly dated, but well maintained for its age. The 2 bedroom suite had a room with a king size bed, another with two queen size beds and a pull out couch. Breakfast was cool. Cereal, eggs, sausage (no bacon), potatoes, danishes, waffle maker, great coffee, assorted teas. We would stay here again and are looking for Homewood Suites going forward.

I stayed in a one bedroom suite. The room was a bit outdated. The temp control in the fridge didn't work and neither did the ice maker. However, this was not that big of a deal to me. What really bothered me was the housekeeping staff was so loud. They screamed at each other down the hall over and over again. I was trying to work and this made it near impossible. I called to complain but really felt as if my complaint was not valid. And it wasn't fixed because the next day, they did the same thing. I stay in Hilton hotels all the time but doubt I'll return to this one.

The staff was very nice. Beverages we're provided for free in the evening. I also really enjoyed hanging by the pool and grill. It was a relaxing atmosphere.

My partner was having surgery, and he needed a nice, clean place to stay. The staff were more than accommodating, going above and beyond to get us what we needed. It was quiet and is in a nice centralized location.

The hotel was located close to the Baylor Heart Hospital and we needed to be close. The rooms were clean, the staff was responsive to our needs. The breakfast was awesome. Perfect mix of several options but not overwhelming. The only issue we had was booking the room. The reservation operator was difficult to speak to and not very helpful. We ended up just using the website.

Felt like a home away from home. I enjoyed the roaring fireplace at the entrance and the option to bring your food for a 'home' cooked meal. I had issues connecting my work laptop to the wifi but the tech support was helpful and quick. Definitely recommend checking them out!

I try to stay at Hilton hotels when I'm on the road because their beds and pillows are consistently in good shape and promote a good night's sleep. In other words, even though I'm not in my bed, I can sleep in theirs and, the the older I get, the less for granted I take a good night's sleep. The staff is also consistently friendly and helpful, these folks are in for a career, not just a temp job. It makes a difference in how they treat you.

This place just serves breakfast and lunch. I had Chicken Fried Steak plate with mashed potatoes and black eyed peas. Definitely good comfort food. Place was packed. Definitely a must try.

The staff at Homewood Suites on Old Shepard was exceptional: especially Todd and Arnecia. They made sure we had everything we needed and they always had a warm and sincere smile! Thank you!! The room was very clean and comfortable, especially the bed and the overstuffed pillows. The hotel may be a little older, but it was well kept, and the price in comparison to the newer hotels, and the Richardson Homewood Suites was quite substantial. I would also like to mention the daily hot breakfast and the Monday through Thursday happy hour with food appetizers: they were the little extras that put it over the top with us. Lastly, it is also in a great location near shopping and restaurants. We will definitely be staying at this hotel again on our next visit.

This hotel had both a complimentary breakfast and dinner (including a complimentary happy hour). It was centrally located to most things north of the bush tollway and the staff was very friendly.

This Homewood Suites location is easy to reach and parking is adequate. The room is smaller than the newer Homewood Suites. Room is dated. The couch has seen better days and very uncomfortable to sit on. TV in the bedroom is small and of different brand and older than one in the living room. Breakfast area is small and the larger furniture makes it even tighter to move around. In all, it is worth what I paid for it but to be at the same level at other Homewood Suites, an upgrade is definitely needed.

I've never had a bad experience at the Homewood Suites, my most recent one included. They have some of the cleanest rooms I've ever stayed in as well as the most comfortable. Every night they have a dinner / "social" which provides a meal, beer, and wine. Their breakfasts are generous in selection. I've stayed at this particular hotel for both business and while visiting family and have yet to be disappointed. No smoking room. Pets allowed at an additional fee.

Very welcoming and attentive staff. Good house keeping that kept the hotel very clean. When I had a problem with unauthorized charges, it was corrected same day. Only down side is the hotel has only 2 washers and 2 dryers; $1 for each cycle.

We have three children, two under 5, so have to be particular about our rentals. We picked this one because of the door separating the living area and bedroom.

The air conditioner didn't work in our first room, but the front desk moved us to a new room near by and comped our first night. The breakfast was good and everything was clean. We will likely come back.

It's sad that the stay was bad for some but I enjoyed staying in Homewood Suites both times and didn't have any issues. Not many hotels provide complementary dinner and the food was delicious (of course some times it was ok but you don't have to feel hungry). Regardig the internet - I've seen only one hotel (for now) with fast and free internet connectivity. The staff in the hotel is very good and are doing fantastic work!
