Stayed here while getting my son settled in before starting school, it was great . We hadn't rented a car but the hotel shuttle runs within a 5 mile radius and just about anything you may need is within that radius. Monday through Thursday they have breakfast AND dinner! Sure cuts down on the food bill!

The facility it's self overall nice. The front desk ladies at check out was great! The other front desk staff needs more training on having a smile and be more welcoming as well as to remain professional and not use the excuse of being tired that's why my family and I received an attitude. The older male security was a total jerk constantly following us around and harassing us is if we did not belong there. I won't be back .

Nice hotel. Clean and price was reasonable. Super benefits of a full kitchen and a separate sleeping and sitting area. Breakfast food was comprehensive and was good but not great. Helpful staff. Location was good for what I needed but not much shopping and only a few restaurants in close vicinity. A 10-15 minute drive gives you lots more options, though. No road noise ( despite its location right near the interstate) but some other group staying there were quite noisy for a couple of nights.
Overall, i would stay there again or perhaps I would try the Hilton Garden hotel right next to Homewood, although I really enjoyed the full kitchen at Homewood. It's a very good option particularly for a longer stay.

Last night the male manager was great. This morning the female one was curt to my 71 year old mother when she wanted a bottle of water. Phoenix in 100 degree weather and she didn't have any cash😑

Love their social, 5-7pm week nights! Substantial enough to make it your evening meal. Even complimentary beer and wine! Enjoy it sitting by the pool. Friendly, courteous staff, including housekeeping crew! Great stay!

Love, Love & more Love is what I have for Homewood Suites. I recently stayed while on a business trip. I can honestly say without hesitation that my stay there was absolutely fantastic. The staff was ooh so friendly & helpful when needed. Although not downtown Phoenix, this hotel is conveniently located near highways, shopping and entertainment. The amenities include free breakfast, 24 hour gym and a beautiful outdoor pool. I had a mini apartment away from home with a full size refrigerator freezer, a stove top, microwave oven and a dishwasher. The living room even had a pullout sofa bed (even though I didn't need it). If ever in the Phoenix area again, I will definitely stay at Homewood Suites in Avondale; "You get alot of Bang for your Buck!" No, I don't work for them, I'm just an extremely satisfied customer.

We were traveling to Cali and stopped in Phoenix. The hotel was very nice and clean. We were so tired after a 14 hour drive. The beds were very comfy. we were able to get a great rest after a long drive and before another 10 hours of driving. The breakfast was a great thing to start the day without looking for a place in the morning.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Very clean and affordable. The staff is friendly and willing to help with anything. The breakfast is your normal hotel breakfast but the have a light dinner monday through thursday with wine and beer on tap for free!

Nothing fancy but good place to stay if your in town for the game. Decent breakfast, good variety.

Hotel has nice amenities. Elevators were extremely slow, breakfast was barely edible. We called for fresh towels and never received them.

One of the TVs didn't work, and I asked for a high floor and got put on the first floor, but it was a nice room.

Great place to stay. Only quirk I have with the rooms is the position of the motion sensing lights which points into a wall away from the living room. It turns off all the time even when I'm in the room

Third time I stay here, and I'm always happy and comfortable. Good breakfast, and diner during weekdays, as most Homewood suites. Big and clean rooms. Big plus for having 2 elevators (most have only 1). Quiet area.

We had a sleepover birthday party for my daughter here. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The girls loved the pool and the two bedroom suite. The suite had a full size fridge, a cooktop, and dishwasher in the kitchen area. The "living room" had a sleeper sofa, and TV.

This property is very well maintained. Rooms seem to be a bit older, but televisions and appliances are up to date. TV comes with around 100 channels, including HBO. Free breakfast in the mornings, as well as complimentary beer and wine in the evenings between 5-7pm.

It's a clean place that offers breakfast and supper which is nice. They communicated with us and our landlord consistently since we were stay here because our pipes busted. Just our room wasn't tended to during the 3 days we've been here. Other than that, really friendly.

Hitel provides breakfast, and a afternoon / dinner snack. It is a cookie cutter construction and there is not much around hotel. If you can score a good deal on the price, it makes sense. Otherwise, it just another hotel that you will not remember.

Close to I-10, rooms are very spacious and clean. Antoinette at the front desk is very nice and helpful, fastest check in I've ever had.

Very nice hotel, it's clean and the rooms are great and offer plenty of room. The location is also great, not a lot of traffic and right next to plenty locations to eat and shop, plus it has a casino right next door. They have breakfast and sometimes free snacks for dinner served with beer and wine. My only complain about the place is the wifi is very slow, almost unusable. They do offer a faster version, but it's 5 dollars a night.

Recently moved here from the Residence Inn nearby. This hotel is a significant upgrade for the same money. Good breakfast daily with great evening snacks on Monday through Thursday. Professional staff. Pool, exercise room, and laundry are so-so, but normal for this price range hotel. Had two minor maintenance issues and they were taken care of quickly with excellent follow up. Rooms are slightly smaller and not quite as well laid out as Residence. TV has an electronic guide vs the common channel flipping required at most hotels. Would love to see the coffee makers upgraded to equal the Holiday, but otherwise this hotel will my go to lodging for my frequent Goodyear travel.

Nice kitchenette with full size refrigerator. Comfortable bed. Updated furnishings. Free breakfast and free managers reception in the evening with food and drinks, beer/wine, etc.

We have family in the area by this Homewood Suites and stay there whenever we are visiting. We have been staying here since this hotel opened several years ago. They always greet us like family, be sure we have a good experience, and make sure we leave happy. The rooms are quiet, and the beds are very comfortable. Of course there is a blip now and then but 99% of our experiences have been positive. The hotel recently underwent a remodeling and is very modern looking now. I highly recommend this hotel!

Joined trip advisor just to write this review. The front of house staff at this hotel went above and beyond good service. Hotel is very clean and great rooms. Would highly recommend this as a play to stay. Easy highway access is nice also.

This hotel is very clean. It is probably one of the cleanest I've been in. The price may be a bit higher than average but well worth the money. I did have a problem with an item that was absolutely needed but the lady at the front desk was very accommodating, things happen when it's the busy holiday season. The cleaning staff was also very friendly. If I need to use a hotel again I will definitely return.

Best place to stay! Everyone is so friendly. Breakfast here is much better than any hotel I've stayed at. M-thursday they serve snacks, and free beer from 5pm-7pm. Can't beat that!

Stayed 7 Feb 2015. As always, received a warm greeting by name from Antoinette at the front desk. She is a real class act and always makes us feel like we are coming home to Homewood. The room was impeccable and the beds were very comfortable. The hot breakfast was hot and the juice cold. The decaf coffee was tasty but had grounds at the bottom for the second stay here in a row. It may be time for a new decaf brewer. All in all a super place to stay and we will be back next month as long as Antoinette keeps greeting us. She is the best I have seen in 40 years of travels around the world.

This is one of those true American businesses. I like it in here, very comfortable and very clean. The staff makes sure that everything is in shape.

Two weeks into a two month stay and must say I am impressed. Service is extraordinary and cleaniness and professionalism is top notch. Food/drinks are decent and amenities are plentiful. The only thing missing is a mint on the pillow and a backrub after a long day at work.
