Beautiful hotel and incredibly warm staff. We only stayed one night, but felt very welcome after a long day of travel. They even provided our pup with a great care package. Beds were comfy, property gorgeous and great artwork throughout (like staying in a gallery) The bartender (from Massachusetts) was delightful and helpful. 110% would stay again. Thank you!

Gorgeous setting for a last day drink and snack. Sat at the terrace for drinks which was lovely and excellent service. Had a nosy inside to discover all the gorgeous details and a fab smelling Christmas tree!

Fantastic! Great views from the terraza and really is a great place to just absorb the city.

Food is really good, the boneless chicken wings are a favourite (although this time a little salty). Drinks are well made and good measures.

My only criticism is the glacial service. Although lovely and accommodating it is just too slow.

Will definitely revisit and if things move a little quicker and the prices haven't gone up (it is very dear) I will give 5 stars.

No doubt this place is the best in Seville. Wonderful hotel with history. Located in the best part of the city with a walking distance to everything you need to see. Rooms are amazing. Real royalty feeling. The lounge and the bar is a really good spot to spend your evening in town

Beautiful, palatial hotel in the heart of Seville. Staff is always courteous. Restaurant is top-notch. Your room will make you feel like royalty. Walking distance to myriad historical landmarks and the river as well. Couldn't recommend it more highly.

Went there for a quick drink. The setting is beautiful, the terrasse very impressive. The hotel is very well air conditioned which in the summer months is greatly appreciated !!
Drinks are reasonably priced for a five star hotel.
Service is good but not overwhelmingly nice - just cordial.

Great place to stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful. You can't help but feel like a king/queen when you're staying there. We were there for our anniversary trip so they made it extra special by providing us with a small gift, flowers and rose petals on the bed. It was super sweet and unexpected because they had already given us wine and chocolate when we arrived. Their breakfast menu is great and has a lot of variety as well. Totally recommend staying here!

Because of its rich history its worth wondering around and looking at the architecture, the art and the jewelry displayed in this landmark.

I and my husband went for a weekend and stayed at this hotel. I must say the historical architecture is overwhelmingly beautiful, yet the hotel service is beyond disappointment. First, none of the personnel understands English for real. They would understand something completely different. Example: we wanted to book something for 4pm, but they sent the confirmation to our room at 5:30pm! Really silly and incompetent staff.
At the pool, no matter how much you stress on getting cold beers, you will still get them warm.
Last but not least, the room was spacious and quite nice, bathroom as well yet at times, there was an unbearable smell coming from the toilette pipes.
The food in the fine dining restaurant San Francis is mediocre. Burrata was utterly acidic and the paella a bit too fried and no real taste.
And to get a cocktail on the terrace bar it takes 30min...
This should be a museum, not a hotel. With all due respect.

Stunning building, built to host the great and the good in the 1920s. Fabulous location, very expensive as you would expect. Definitely worth a look inside though.

Superb place to spend quality time with family. The hotel has some antique items as exhibition and some others are on sale; however, they are quite expensive. Overall, good service and fantastic location!

Superb hotel and staff. They took care of everything. The brunch was delicious with great dessert and hot food. Great time, really luxurious. Loved my stay, the room was spacious and the view was beautiful.

Public areas in the hotel are free to visit. Excellent and posh decor. Try the lift inside, interesting concept! Can order a coffee at the café and enjoy the ambience!

I spent my Honeymoon in this lovely vintage hotel. Clean and comfortable. I recommend you to take a night in it or go for a coffee at least.

This hotel is like a 1920s Hollywood set for a film about Seville. The hotel has been meticulously restored and is now better than ever. Bedrooms are very comfortable and the tile work in the bathrooms is amazing. Best cocktail bar in Seville.

Arrived at this hotel during a taxi strike so the journey on was about 45 minutes longer than expected. The men at the door rushed towards us all apologetic (of course it wasn't their fault) and when greeted by reception staff the drama of the last hour slipped away. Concierge also greeted us and really made us feel at home. The room (superior) was large and very comfortable - and the bed lush. I had informed the hotel by email that it was my wife's birthday - and upon returning to our room late that night there was a small birthday cake on the bed with best wishes and a chilled bottle of sparkling wine. Really thoughtful. Of course the hotel is centrally located and offers a variety of bars and eateries. Truly a delightful experience

Fantastic building in a great location. The patio bar just inside the main entrance is a lovely place to stop for a drink in style if one wants to escape the heat and crowds. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Very enjoyable stop!

Didn’t stay but poped in to get help for a taxi as they all seemed to have disappeared when we needed one. The staff were very helpful in helping us in our late night quest for a cab!

El Hotel Alfonso XIII, en la Avenida de la Constitucion, forma parte de la historia de Sevilla, si bien sus precios son elevados sus servicios estan a la altura, fui de visita como diseñadora de interiores, todo esta cuidado al maximo detalle. Accedimos a una suit que costaba 1.500 euros en temporada baja, lo mejor de esta estancia el baño, el mobiliario de las otras zonas son demasiado clásicos para mi gusto, pero no rechazaria pasar un par de dias en ella, con esa cama king size. El torreon que se puede alquilar para pedidas de manos es muy especial, sin duda este servicio creo que si merece la pena. El bar/ cocteleria es de acceso libre, de estilo ART DECO reformado en 2012, los precios son elevados pero si te gusta disfrutar de un buen cafe por 4.50€ puedes tomar un latte machiatto en un lugar bastante exclusivo con música en directo. Todo el personal que nos atendió fue muy amable.

The atmosphere is what we liked most about the Hotel Alfonso XIII. The enviroment is amazing, it has style and character. It’s location is central and the staff was extremely friendly, professional and nice.
It is a memorable experience, we were thrilled to be there even just for a coffee.

Absolutely superb 5* Hotel. Amazing restaurant situated in a Courtyard setting with a fountain and a pianist. Never experienced anything like it! Food outstanding. Staff very welcoming even if you do not speak Spanish. Highly recommended.

I visited the hotel for a touristic reasons. The hotel architecture is beautiful, And the coffee shop is good and reasonable cheap. The waitress was nice and polite.

A superb 5 star hotel centrally situated and within close walking distance to ALL the main tourist attractions. Breakfast at this hotel is particularly impressive with an unbelievable choice. Everything you could possibly wish for from a very clean, comfortable hotel to enjoy your Seville vacation.

Outstanding hotel. Not cheap but very special, everything is original and beautiful. Excellent staff (concierge in particular). The terrace bar is a lovely spot to spend some time, overlooking orange trees and horse and carriages. Huge buffet breakfast.

A grand and beautiful place to visit. The interiors are detailed abs ornate, creating an air of a bygone era. Moorish influenced, and a wonderful place to go for an afternoon tea or a pre-dinner cocktail

Fantastic venue but our group was insulted by the bar tenders multiples times over the weekend (in the evening to night time). We had multiple rooms for a wedding right in the Alfonso. Very unfortunate given the time and money we spent here.

Visited the hotel late in the evening for a drink on the tarrace. The hotel is amazing, both inside and outside. The drinks are not cheap for Sevilla standards but it was well worth it. Will definitely return when visiting the city again.

A 5 stars grand luxury hotel with a typical sevillian style. Has two open air terraces (one inside and one outside). Very good service. The waiters are very attentive.

This is an AMAZING hotel. Great location and very attentive staff. The only thing I wasn't overly impressed with was the fact you can still smoke by the pool. I was travelling with an infant who loved to play in the water however on occasions would have someone smoking directly next to him.

The food was good. Modern, authentic cuisine. No locals were present. Geared towards tourists looking for classy atmosphere.

We loved this hotel. So perfectly located 5 minutes walk from the cathedral, and within walking distance of all main landmarks of Seville. Great breakfast, fantastic staff all around. The concierge service was excellent at guiding us through all of the places to visit, and made great dinner recommendations and reservations for us. We had a total blast during our 4 days in Séville thanks in great part to the hotel.

Beautiful building centrally located. Staff is friendly although they don't always look happy ; ) Breakfast in courtyard is a must. Great facilities. Treat yourself to a suite for the royalty treatments.

Overall poor experience. Hotel has nice bones of a pretty old building, but the room was dirty and, more importantly, the service and attitude of staff is very mixed. Some nice people, but more than one or two with an unacceptably negative unhelpful attitude. The hotel also attempted not to honor its own cancellation policy by refusing to "accept" a cancellation. What does that even mean? Also, through a convoluted and dishonest charade the hotel attempted to dishonor the food and beverage credit offered through the amex fine hotels program. Definitely not worth the money and do not recommend. Will not return.

This hotel is just spectacular. My friend got married here. The food was sensational. Their drinks selection is bigger than any I've ever seen. The pink gin was sublime. We had lunch and bubbles in the room too. The tiling was fabulous. The roast veg pesto sandwich was the best sandwich I've ever tasted.

Excellent friendly and helpful staff. Building feels old and somewhat ornate. Small gym facility with dumbells, 3 treadmill and 3 universal type machines. No coffee ot tea in room and no bluetooth speakers in room. Comfortable beds and linens, good sleep quality, excellent breakfast buffet.

Most drinks seemed a little steep, but that didn't matter because the hot chocolate was incredible and surprisingly cheap. The décor was beautiful, and well worth seeing.

Fantastic tapas from Carles Abellan served in a beautiful setting. Sat outside on the terrace on a warm evening. The view is lovely and space is really special with all the ceramic finnials. Sherry Mojitos was just the ticket!

We love this place. Even if you are not staying here, still visit and enjoy the beautiful interior terrace. Great rooms, immaculate service and a location from another century make this a must when in Sevilla.

When you want luxury and a perfect vodka martini...this is the place to go..either to stay or when you want to get away from walking around, tourists, and want peace and luxury. One of my favorite places in Seville.

We stopped in and had a beverage at the end of a long day touring. The American bar is a delight to all the senses. The staff was great. They helped us place a bow on the end of a great day.

It's one of Starwood's top hotel tiers in Seville. Centrally located, amazing rooms, views are typical garden or city views because of location. Service is impeccable, as are dining options. Did I mention the rooms are amazing.

Superb rooms and service. Greeted with an upgrade, the room is incredible the details everywhere are gorgeous. Excellent Spanish wine list. Bed sheets are divine. Magnificent pool and patio.

Tough to decide between 4 and 5. Overall excellent and will return but front desk is slower and less effective than I would expect for a hotel of this quality and concierge was erratically staffed. Rooms, breakfast and the pool area all amazing. Good gym too.

Went to the American bar for a cocktail and to admire the architecture. It is beautiful and the cocktails are good. Service not as good as I would expect for an establishment like this (difficult to get the attention of a waiter to bring the bill and then to pay). The fact that everything is branded "The Luxury Question" rather than "Hotel Alfonso XIII" is odd. It is a constant reminder you're in part of a global chain rather than a unique hotel.

We have enjoyed our stay tremendously! The staff are very accommodating and the place is beautiful. Best rest we've had all trip! The location is perfect. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to coming back in the future!

Glamorous and beautifully restored, this elegant hotel is a must-see. Beautiful public areas, with its old-world architecture and moorish style furnings. The Bar Americano inside the hotel is posh art-deco style and has some good cocktails. Worth the visit for the design alone!

Friendly staff, quality of the food was not up to par to the majestic facade.

The staff was lovely and all however some bathrooms have no ventilation.

Stayed here once before, it's over-priced, massively over-priced, much nicer, better, hotels in the centre at half (literally) the price. This time we went for lunch in the central courtyard, the service was awful, so many staff, and yet the wait was shocking, I think only two people were doing anything. It took half an hour just for the drinks to arrive. We'd been sat for an hour by the time food arrived. The young English girl on front desk worked hard and apologised profusely, and a young Spanish (?) chap did his best, everyone else just stood around out of sight. Lunch was very expensive, although in grand surroundings, it took way, way, too long! Such a shame, we wanted to give it another go, but won't a third time!

Worthless the price. They charged my credit card a huge amount of money as a deposit. A five star hotel but with no SPA or health club! Noise can be easily heard in the room and couldn't sleep or take a nap. Location is great.

Hotel Alfonso was a treat after a long day of touring. Had a lovely meal in San Fernando, staff are absolutely wonderful and experience was heightened by the live piano.

Great room in a great hotel. Only issue was breakfast the second day service totally fell apart, total chaos. Not enough staff and management doing nothing.
