Good location. Clean rooms. Reasonable. Friendly staff. We reserved a room with a single bed but our room had two doubles. Only stayed 2 nights so didn't complain. My bad.

We loved our stay here. From check in to check out, every interaction with staff was friendly and helpful. The room was well appointed, amazing view of the harbor, and so quiet that we never heard our neighbors. I highly recommend staying here.

When walking into this hotel I was greeted by their friendly staff staff. Naturally I wanted to check in for my stay so they directed me up a marble set of stairs to the front desk. I was third in line to be helped but the wait was short. Check in only took a few min. The room is clean and the views are jaw dropping. In the room I reserved there was two queen beds, a flat screen TV, hair dryer, mini fridge among the other usual amenities. The walk to coal harbor and the Vancouver Convention Center is 3 min at most. All in all it's been a great stay!

We were staying in one of their largest 2 queen beds room since we were 4. The room was large enough, a bit old but nice looking. Unfortunately, we stayed there during a very hot period and air conditioning couldn't manage to chill the room (they verified and a/c was working as intended). However, we were offered free breakfast for the rest of our stay as a compensation. Overall, it is a good place, well located, but definitely not worth the price in my opinion.

Stayed here for a week. Great location, very friendly and helpful staff. The TV guide was weird. It would list a show for the current time but a different show would actually be airing. Also, the weirdest thing was the elevator. There's a sign in each elevator cab that said the buttons might not light up when pressed. A few times, a button would not light up but I don't think anything of it because of the sign. However, it would act possessed. I would try to go to the lobby. The elevator would go down one floor, open the doors (no one is there), close doors, go back up two floors, keep the doors closed, and then go to where I needed. For such a nice hotel and high rates, you'd think they would try and fix the elevators. Working in facilities, I know how expensive it can be but it's a really odd thing that presents a counter image of your brand.

Highly recommend. We stayed in the harbour view room and it did not disappoint. Amazing view of the harbour and very comfortable room. Very clean and the service was top-notch. Great location for sightseeing and for pre/post cruise stays

This hotel is styled older; the elevators have the buttons that I remember from the 80s. Staff seem engaged and professional. The lookout from the 19th floor is somewhat diminished from it's probably heyday in the 70s. It has aged a little, but is still quite charming. Location is prime for a person looking to explore the West End and Stanley Park on foot or by bike.

Rooms are spacious and the air conditioning works great. There was a recent upgrade to their tv service and the signal quality is decent. The carpeting could be cleaner, but the rest of the room appears to be well taken care of. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay. Location is absolutely fantastic, with lots of food and entertainment options nearby.

PROS: I loved my experience at this amazing hotel. The view is incredible and the rooms have very comfy beds. This hotel also gives us access to so many things, such as a swimming pool and so much more (there are too many to mention!) The staff are dressed properly and they are very helpful. I highly recommend this hotel, it is totally worth the price.

CONS: I hate having to pay for parking.

Staff was very friendly, efficient and helpful. The P2B restaurant has a nice view of the harbour, and the food is very good.(Happy hour includes specials on appetizers and drinks -- from 2-6pm). Rooms were a bit dated, but very nice, and had sliding glass doors which opened to enjoy the fresh air and views.

This hotel is very nice and in a great location with stunning views but the elevator noise is aweful. It is so loud all the time. This needs addressing. It's such a shame as the rooms r very clean and modern with great views. Free bike hire is a massive bonus so basically if you don't mind the constant noise use this hotel

The hotel itself is really beautiful. The beds are comfy and the staff is pleasant. But my God...the elevators are the slowest I've ever experienced. It took every second of 10 minutes to go from the lobby to the 5th floor. Also, the room itself is okay. It's clean and the bed is comfy. It's just bare bones for a "nice" hotel. The hot water in the showers is merely warm at best. The robes are very nice though and the views are great! Overall, I recommend if you can get a deal. There's certainly way more expensive hotels in the area.

Nice hotel although I expected a little more for it being in downtown. The hallways were dark and kinda musty feeling. The room was nice and clean. The check in staff was helpful and accommodating seeing as we checked in early. Even though our room wasn’t ready we were able to leave our bags checked while we explored the city

I went to an all day event and the staff were very discrete, polite, well dressed, and we're always at the ready to assist if needed. The hotel was clean, spotless even! Although I didn't stay at the hotel overnight, I'm sure the rooms were just as taken care of as what I saw in the lobby, restaurant, and conference rooms. I would definitely suggest this place to anyone traveling. The view of the harbor was absolutely amazing!

Overall, my stay was pretty good. You can tell that the hotel is ready for a major upgrade, but you cannot beat that beautiful view of the mountains and harbor. Having breakfast with that view was a definite plus. The staff was amazing and friendly, and was always ready to help if you had any questions or concerns. Thanks for a wonderful stay, guys!

It felt great entering a comfortable room after a rainy walk. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom has recently been remodeled (very nice). Great tourist hotel, encountered many young families while staying there. A great location at Coal Harbor, a five-minute walk from Stanley Park.

I'd give the service/staff 5 stars easily. Very polite, accomodating and helpful. The rooms I've had were in need of update though. They have penthouse level restaurant for private parties that does enjoy a spectacular view (and the catering was quite tasty). Good place at the right price.

I had the fastest, most courteous service at 10:30 pm last night. My first room was right behind the elevators and it was like being by an EL station. I called guest services and spoke with Briana Dunlop. She immediately moved me to another room which was beautiful and included two breakfast vouchers. Bryant assisted me with delivering the new room key and vouchers and was equally polite with his service. This is a wonderful hotel to stay in Vancouver. It's close to all the sites and the bar and restaurant are great. I have always had great experiences with this hotel. Thanks again Briana and Bryant.

My friend and I came to Vancouver for a girls getaway and she chose the Pinnacle. It's right on the harbor, so the views are beautiful, but somewhat dated. The beds were very comfy, rooms were clean, elevators are super fast, they have parking under the hotel that's $33 per night and the staff is lovely and friendly. It's well-located and only a short walk to yummy restaurants

This hotel made me fall in love with Vancouver; fabulous location: super close to high end fashion retailers, Robson street and Coal Harbour. Of course being on West Hastings there are breath taking harbour views as well as city views...
Excellent service from the moment you arrive. Really good gym facility in the building as well.
Rooms are really fun, decorated with hues of red, always wake up happy especially if you have a coal harbour view.
Definitely recommend - worth the price!

It's always great to talk to them and they will filled up your needs no matter what. Water bottles, bicycles, umprellas, maps are completely free of charge for your daily needs.

Amazing views and good atmosphere in general. I'll definitely go back there again...

Staff were very friendly & helpful.
My only problem was that I thought breakfast was included with my stay. Was later informed it wasn't included so that caught me off guard.

Excellent location near Stanley Park. Large, comfortable and clean room. Very friendly staff. On arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to receive an upgrade to our room. Had the weather been nicer, we would have had a great view of the north shore mountains. Although we had an excellent breakfast, it wasn't the breakfast buffet that we had purchased in advance. We would definitely stay here again.

Great views on harbor side - even in the winter. Nice, clean room with a king bed and mini fridge, wish it had a microwave also. Convenient to restaurants and the waterfront. Urban Fare market just down the block for anything you might need. Would stay again if visiting Vancouver again.

Gorgeous view. We arrived yesterday and so far everything has been great. Comfortable beds. Good facilities. Good location near many restaurants and shops.

My wife and i were there for dinner. Food was quite delicious. Service was great. There was a little accident happened though as there was a little water right on the hallway and my wife slipped and fell. I have asked the server to put a wet floor sign or have it cleaned up but nothing happened until the very end when I reminded them again. Other than that, seats are quite comfortable, and ambient was good. Speed of service was fast as well.

We got a free room upgrade from the front desk lady who was very pleasant and sincere. Room was nice and clean but bath tub had a few hairs left in it from the last guest. Thin walls as well as we were woken up early by the sound of vacuuming.

I stayed at the hotel as well as attended an event here. The event was perfect, the hotel staff and catering was excellent. The rooms themselves are clean and have all the basic amenities. I especially like the lounge couch in my room. I only knock off one star because I did not realize how expensive any food you order is. It's good food, but not worth double the cost of slipping outside and hiring up one of the many local eateries in the area.

Great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Situated a nice short walk to the train and many restaurants/shops.
Highly recommend staying here if your not familiar with Vancouver and would like to explore on foot.
Parking is extra but worth valet as it's not much more expensive then self park.
Lastly views of the water are partial but still worth the extra couple of bucks. City side rooms are cheaper and a little bigger if desired.

Bar and restaurant are great food wise and staff is quick and friendly. Price is high but no more then surrounding higher end restaurants.

Looks for specials as they usually have a deal especially for Washington residents.

Stayed here for a night after attending a work party. My hotel room was quite nice - king bed, mini fridge, a couch - and it was nicely prepared and cleaned when I arrived. I needed toothpaste at one point and I was brought it within a few minutes.

The ballroom on the 2nd floor was lovely; very spacious with super high ceilings. I was impressed with the quality of food, particularly considering it was a buffet.

The area of the hotel is very central, providing easy access to downtown Vancouver and much of what it has to offer.

Pinnacle has a great location for business. Very walkable to the financial core. Service was quick and efficient. Harbour view from the room was spectacular. Restaurant seems very popular.

4. A loud humming noise throughout the night. Asked lobby to change room, no other room was available.
5. Frustratingly difficult to get an empty elevator. The longest we waited was 15 minutes then took the stairs.

Great location and views. The service was generally okay. But a few issues turned me away from going back to this hotel. First, the WiFi was so poor that I couldn't do much. Forget about YouTube and video chats. Even checking emails would fail from time to time. Second, the carpet in my room looked old and dirty. The couch had a blotch of stain from unknown fluid and I dared not sit on it. Third, on their website, they had the free bike rental service (as of Nov 2017). But the front desk told me that they had stopped offering this for almost a year. Finally, the swimming pool was not half as spacious and bright as appeared on their website.

I stayed in a decent room with a stunning view. It’s a bit dated but it has a comfortable bed. Staff is friendly and helpful. Location is fantastic - ideal for exploring Vancouver!

We booked Harbour front view room and it was great but I expected more. The view had other buildings in between which kinda ruined my view!

Also when we booked the hotel and picked hop off hop on bus tickets, it clearly said that you will get tickets for the 2 days you are staying. But it actually was only for 24 hours whenever you start it. I thought they would honor what we read but they didn’t. They should fix the wording on their website.
I think I will not stay here again. For the price, I don’t think it’s worth it.

Nice enough downtown hotel though a bit worn around the edges. Some of the rooms are oddly shaped - long & skinny or with only a winter window etc. Location is good, staff is friendly, certainly some nice views of the harbour from various spots. Basically an acceptable place to spend the night if you're good looking past various spots that could use a touch up or two.

I went there for my 2 year anniversary, I requested a standard room, I mentioned to them the occasion, and they definitely made sure it was special, they upgraded our room to a sea view room, and left a personalized note with chocolates on the counter... that gave us a pleasant feeling when we got there, the staff in general is so super kind. I loved the location and the facilities.

The hotel is lovely and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The location is superb, so close to the harbour, shopping, tourist locations, and many forms of transport. I love the Sea wall and Stanly Park! Parking was easy (underground) and very reasonably priced.

This is a pretty good hotel in downtown Vancouver. We stayed for 2 nights. It is centrally located near the harbour. Breakfast, coffee, gelato, and the harbour are very close. The hotel offers umbrellas and other small things to make your stay easier. Staff are courteous. Rooms seem slightly older or maybe it's a style I don't know about. But good

Umbrellas to borrow. Bike rentals. Really good location and wonderful rooms. The door/window doesn't close that well so some sound comes through. But we found closing the curtains helped alot. The staff after really friendly and we found our stay was very pleasant.

Went for labour day long weekend 2017 and stayed here. Everything about this place is great. Service and Experience were top notch. The location is amazing and very close to amazing restaurants, shopping and the ocean. I will definitely stay here with my family again next time we go to Vancouver.

Room was fine- nothing to be excited about but had a great view and everything we needed. They also offered bikes for us to use which was nice. We purchased the FlyOVer Canada while booking the room(which they didn't give us until we asked for it). We also purchased the buffet while booking the room, we also had to ask for them to give it to us. On the last day of our stay we had to leave at 3 AM for a flight and asked for a breakfast to go- they provided a juice, fruit, yogurt, and a granola bar. For what we paid for the breakfast we were not happy with this to go breakfast. Also, we paid for the dog in the room and a dog bed and bowl were supposed to be brought up as part of this, which never happened. Overall, the location is great and it was an OK stay. Not impressed but it got the job done.

I booked through Expedia as a VIP and snagged a room with the harbor view. You will not be disappointed. The view is great and that side of the street stays quiet, even during morning traffic hour. Service was excellent although I wasn't able to reach the desk in the mornings to order room service for breakfast (rang busy over and over). Otherwise, great hotel with a great location. Quiet rooms, as well, which helped as I was traveling with a baby who wakes easily.

Great location. You can have harbor or city views. Walking distance to the convention centre. The gym is well equiped with an indoor pool and free weights. The restaurant is not bad...sometimes service is a bit slow.

We stayed here celebrating our anniversary. The staff were exceptional at helping me have a few surprises ready when we checked in. Despite the hotel being full, they were still able to upgrade our room to help us celebrate with a little more style. From the friendly front desk staff at check-in to the helpful bellman hailing us a cab, we were treated with first class service every step of the way. This was our first stay but certainly not our last.

Came here for a conference and it's been great. Quiet, no tech issues, close to everything.

Ate at the restaurant couple times and generally happy. But be prepared for the wait. Food takes a long time to go out.

My family and I attended an event at the hotel. It was a very nice facility with a great location and convenient on-premises parking. The one annoyance was that the elevators were very slow given the volume of people using them, and there aren't stairs available to split up the traffic. Otherwise, the hotel was very nice!

We came for a convention with my two kids. It was a clean comfortable room. The staff was very responsive to small requests. I was disappointed because the front desk was not helpful in finding places to eat with my children at all. But the restaurant staff helped us find places and guided me to actvities with them. Somewhat of a noisy room, we could hear the elevator and the staff most of the night so ear plugs were helpful. Right in the financial district, but a 15 minute walk from Stanley Park.

Caring staff. Great service. The desk people were eager to help me plan outings. Restaurant food was great when we were too tired to leave. Views were lovely. I would return here again eagerly.

This is a nice little hotel with an awesome location. It is walking distance to the harbour front with lots of wonderful sights and activities. It is a perfect place to stay if you want to go ride a bike in Stanley park or if you wanted to go and watch "Flyover Canada". The rooms are nice and the service is very nice.

Second time having a staff party at this hotel. Staff are always great and the facility is top notch. Food quality was excellent as well. Parking is available for typical rates of the area. Close walk to transit too. Positive experience over all.

Wow. One of the nicest places we've ever stayed. We have an amazing view of the harbour. It's located close to so many great restaurants, shops, etc... The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. And the cherry on top is the complimentary bikes you can ride around town or Stanley Park. Just an amazing place.

Rooms very comfortable and modern. Found some other facilities out dated such as the pool area. Hot tub was closed with a city inspection notice posted and the general pool area was not up to the appearance standards of the rest of the hotel. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Fantastic location.

Service was great, showed up three hours before check in and they were able to accommodate me very shortly after. Rooms are very nice, staff helpful and polite. Can't say enough about the harbor view as well. Would certainly stay here again.

Went for graduation event. The venue is really nice. Lots of seating room amd good view of the waterfront from the balcony seating area. The food was good quality. Very easy to get to the location is prime for those who plan to spend a day to experience Vancouver as it is very close to public transport, shopping and venues with other activities.

We had mother's day brunch which had excellent variety of food including unlimited king crab and mussels and clams. The service from the hosts and waiter was great. Keep a look out for these special events at this hotel. It might not be a world renowned like some of the other hotels nearby but they have great food

My husband and I stayed at the Pinnacle over the weekend and had a lovely time. Staff were friendly and helpful and our rooms were spacious and well appointed. Would definitely stay again.

Beds are comfortable. The view was beautiful. Well furnished and stocked. Helpful staff. Bike rental free, first come. Close to sky train, shopping, trendy restaurants.

Great hotel with amazing view of the harbor. Staff is really friendly. Only took away a star because the jacuzzi was down our entire visit and the pool was cold.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Great location, nice bar/restaurant. Happy hour options are nice, the view from the restaurant is beautiful. It's very close to the convention centre and Harbour float planes and many restaurants and also Gas Town

Held a conference here back in February 2017 and the hotel is gorgeous. Not paid or sponsored to review this by any means but the staff was very accommodating and even helped us with little things like providing us with scissors and power cables. The rooms are spacious, clean, and the gym is better than some commercial gyms that require expensive memberships. Fantastic food with a great view of the ocean. Wish I had time to take pictures to share.

Only negative thing: the elevators are kind of scary. They're either too fast or outdated as you can often feel the floor shaking at times upon it's arrival. Also tends to be sort of slow which is crummy when there's lots of people checking in at one time.

Love the location, staff are very nice and accommodating. Didn't have a chance to go to their happy hour, but had a really great experience before. This hotel is like home away from home.

Stayed at the Pinnacle for 3 nights, and I can't say I thought very much of it for the price point. The service was amazing and the staff (especially the housekeeping staff) were extremely kind, but the rooms themselves, I can't say I thought very much of them. A collection of mismatched colours and decor, an annoying cable TV system, but most odd... No power points next to the beds. The foyer and the amenities are nice, but there's no lounge at the top of the building to take in the beautiful view. It's a nice hotel, but for the price... You're paying for the beautiful (quite noisy) view, but the excellent service would make up for that, the staff have been extremely kind and the service was without a doubt excellent

Pinnacle is always a great stay. We've been doing business trips here for years and staff is always friendly and accommodating. Not to mention the rooms are top notch and very comfortable for a stay away from home. Definitely recommend.

Stayed for two nights for a wedding, room decent size and comfortable bed, however concierge only had a room with two double beds and no kings available. Service was very good, and food at restaurant easy to access for guests. Parking also very convenient!

Good view on the harbour side room, amenities were great especially the gym. Breakfast spot is nice. I'd return for another night.

Stayed for a business trip so didn't get to enjoy all of the amenities but it was an excellent experience. Offer free bike rentals. Meeting spaces were also very good.

Only stayed for one night, but it was a wonderful time. Our room had a fantastic view of Coal Harbour and the north shore mountains. Staff was very friendly, facilities were quite nice, and the hotel had a great location that made it easy to walk to all parts of the downtown core.

Friendly service right at the door. Coffee was a little bitter due to a lack of coffee grains but that's almost any hotel or coffee shop. Me being nitpicky. Very nice place.

Great view, the hotel a bit tied Pinnacle North Vancouver much more superior. Staff has poor service asked 2pm for extra towel and pillow by 7pm still had not arrived had to reask. Had room made up this morning and picture says it all.

We got a great clean room on the tenth floor with a king bed as an upgrade due to availability. We had a great stay!

We felt we had lucked out with this place for the last night of a two week tour organised by trailfinders. Great location, and staff very helpful and friendly. Large, comfortable room, with excellent views.

Had a large corporate Christmas party at the hotel. Started in the revolving space on the top floor, then downstairs to the large ballroom for dinner and dancing. The service was good and the buffet dinner excellent.

Found a great deal on the hotel room so was feeling strong about the value going into it. The room was nice and the hotel is within walking distance of everything downtown and Gastown. The staff was the best part as everyone we interacted with who worked there was terrific. Alex at the front desk is super helpful. Will return!

I went there for professional development seminars. The facilities were very good. Acoustics could be better. Lunch was good

The rooms were unfortunately not prepared available upon arrival of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and provided a good service to make up for it. Unfortunately I was stuck with double beds, so my rest want that great. Housekeeping needs to read the signs on the doors and the two parties between hotel reservations and housekeeping, need to be on the same page for when the Room's are vacant. I had my door knocked on even when I had a "do not disturb' sign on the knob. Luckily, I had the for locked so housekeeping couldn't enter.

Overall, not the best experience this time around.

The servers at the restaurant were very helpful thank you. We had a brunch prior to our wedding rehearsal. The buffet was amazing. I especially enjoyed the smoked salmon.

I wasn't going to mention the loud laughing man at the crack of dawn but the idea of thin walls appears to be a consistent theme and it interrupted my sleep. The room was nice and clean and the balcony overlooked the harbor. The stay was pleasant with two exceptions:

1. Loudmouth-Stupid-Laugh-Guy
2. We thought we signed up for the breakfast but I guess something was lost in translation and they were going to charge us an arm and leg for a not-so-impressive continental breakfast spread.

#2 actually worked out perfectly in the end because we went to Scoozi's which is within walking distance and it was sooooo good. I highly recommend that spot!

Water view rooms are great. The views are excellent. Beds and bedding are the best we've used in many years of travel. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Very accessible because of the entrances on W. Hastings or Cordova. Pretty standard quality for a 4-star hotel. Well priced for being so close to Waterfront. The staff were very kind to us during our convention. The booking service reserved us the wrong room, 2 doubles instead of a king. The booking were very full, but the staff made sure we got the room we wanted.

The best part was the 24-hour pool! So many hotels have limited hours, but we were finally able to enjoy a late-night swim with no one to bother us.

Quick check in. Friendly staff. Good view from my room. Going to try their breakfast soon. Only thing I'm not happy about arr the pillows. They're too soft with no support and no meat.

Loved it. Great room and location. Comfortable beds and quiet while I was there. Not crazy about the sliding door for the bathroom that weighed approximately a thousand pounds, but other than that everything was wonderful. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

My sister came into town for a conference and the hotel was fully booked. She had been advised to wait until around 10:00 pm to ask about any cancellations, but they only confirmed that there were none, and they were fully booked. While my sister went back to the lounge to think, I introduced myself to the hotel Reception and politely asked what they could do to help with the situation, and that they could come and see me in the lounge if there was something they could do above and beyond. Maybe twenty minutes later, my sister was handed a key to a room.
I would like to commend the two who were at Reception on that Tuesday evening shift, and I want to thank the Manager for helping with improving the Customer Experience. Much appreciated! and I will definitely refer guests.

Loved our stay here was on floor 16 in a king room overlooking the harbour and couldn't have asked for a better room or view. Rebooking for our next trip in October. Great staff all very polite, best valet service. Lovely restaurant/bar all very contemporary.
