Check-in process was smooth, the cable and the TV is hit or miss - the signal coming into the TV sometimes fades out. The breakfast bar seemed lacking, and the dinner options were okay. The elevators are slow and make a loud noise. However for the price and proximity to the university you can't beat it.

The Staybridge hotels always have alot to offer. This location is a bit older than the others I've stayed in but it's still a comfortable stay. I can't say I like the location but it's a business trip so i didnt have much of an option. There are alot of options for restaurants though.

I enjoyed my stay here. Very nice place with a basketball court and friendly staff. If you have a family I would highly recommend this place because you can cook.

I have no complaints. I love staying there. I stayed there for at least 4 weeks.

Great when you have your kids but want some.privacy of your own room as well!

What a Great hotel!!! We are Charter & Tour Bus Drivers and after driving all night we were allowed to get a extra early check in and we don’t have to be in any rush to get up and leave. Most hotels wanna charge you for 2 days when we have to do this... this hotel was very understanding and accommodating to our needs. Beautiful & Clean large rooms with a kitchen separate living room separate little dressing room. Comfy bed and I love the pillows that support your neck instead of flatting out. This is my first time staying at a Staybridge Hotel and I’ll be on the look out on my travels to try out some more!!! Staybridge you have my vote and I’ll definitely pass the word to our other drivers! Until next time thanks for your understanding!

very nice hotel. very clean and i was very surprised at how lovely the amenities were. The location was EXCELLENT.

Nice rooms with comfortable beds and pillows. Its nice to have the option of dining out or cooking in your room. Loved the large hot tub.

I just delivered pizza there but it seems really nice and the staff is friendly. They had free water.

For the quality and the price, this really is the only option in Lubbock. I've consistently received great service and clean rooms.

Very nice hotel; good location; friendly staff; good breakfast. Wednesday evening, they had their "social time" which included grilled burgers and franks with free tap beer and wine by the glass. And sides. Met other guests.

Great hotel. Lots of amenities. Close to anything you need. These rooms are like small apartments. They're nice and modern. Staff has been absolutely great. They have afternoon social hours where you can eat a light snack and drink free beer or wine Monday to Wednesday.

Floor's a little creaky and bathrooms could be a bit cleaner, but overall, it's a nice option for Lubbock and the location to Tech can't be beat. Oh and the wifi is a joke, disconnects and is VERY SLOW, please upgrade it.

Hotel is great, no problems with service at all. Only exception is their Wi-Fi. It is absolutely useless - even to check work emails. Had to go to the nearest Starbucks every time I needed access to work emails which was a huge inconvenience.

The staff is very nice. The hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable. Full sized refrigerators, comfortable bed, and there is a lot of storage space. The pool and fitness facility are very nice.

Great location, friendly staff, dinner and breakfast included. Free beer during dinner was a great surprise. Also they take both pets and service animals.

Pet friendly, clean, and big room. Close to Texas tech college. Staff was nice we booked last minute with our pup.

Very nice amenities. Room was clean, quiet, and up to date and LITERALLY across the street from Texas Tech campus. Includes a full sized fridge, two burner stove, microwave, dishes, pots, pans, forks, knives, etc.

They even have two gas grills at the pool area. I was there for a quick trip, but this would really be great for an extended stay.

I didn't get to partake since it was a quick trip, but they seem to have very nice free drink and food evenings. See photos for a picture of the food menu. Looked GOOD!

Wi-Fi was terribly slow at the end of the hallway - only reason for not getting 5 stars but I would stay again!

Recently we traveled from Dallas to Lubbock for our daughter's birthday. She and her husband live in Lubbock, in the neighborhood called "Tech Terrace" on the south side of 19th street, south of Texas Tech's campus. As we have several times before we spent a couple nights in the Staybridge Suites at the corner of 19th and University. And as it has been in the past, our stay was pleasant, our room was nice, and the prices were good.

My one complaint (and reason for not giving the Staybridge a five-star rating) is that the wifi in our room on the third floor at the end of the hallway was basically useless. They need to get a network expert to fix that. I assume that this problem has something to do with the distance we were from the lobby and the center of operations. But that could be fixed.

In every other respect though it's a nice place and I reckon we'll stay there next time we visit Lubbock.

Staybridge always exceeds my expectations. They were running a little behind on the breakfast buffet in the morning, and i had to leave before they had it set up, but they were redeemed by the Woodchuck on tap for happy hour in the evening.

Very comfortable room; the breakfast buffet had a nice selection & was well stocked even late in the morning. The elevator is a little scary.

Great service. Everyone was polite and helpful. Rooms where clean and free of bed bugs. Ideal location if you need to do something close to the campus or on campus near the center of town did not have to drive for a long time to get anywhere. Will stay again. Will recommend.

It is a great location if you're visiting campus. A little noisy at night from the street, but still a great location.

Location was nice, not too much traffic as well as being close to good places to eat. Lobby was pretty and clean, and rooms were orderly and comfortable and well decorated

Rooms suites are nice for what you pay. Refrigerator stove dishwasher included. Guest services was extremely nice and helpful. Didn't care for the pillows on the bed. Should be choices like I've had at other hotels.

Very nice hotel. Meals weren't great but at least they were included and your room had a full kitchen to cook your own meal.

Our waiter was excellent, always checking on us. She's an excellent asset to the Pecan Grill at the Overton. I will most definitely be coming back! Best server I've had.

The rooms are very comfortable and the kitchen is a very decent size with pretty much anything you need. The staff is very friendly, and the breakfast was very yummy!

Very warm staff. Clean rooms. Good TV channels. Great hot breakfast. Fantastic location where you are walking distance to campus. Would stay here again.

I was there visting a guest, but the lobby and bathrooms were inviting and well kept. Frontdesk staff were very nice.

Rooms were very nice but what made it an excellent stay was the staff. Very friendly, especially Tasha at the front desk! We need more people like her in the world.

The staff was welcoming and helpful. The hotel is very nice and we stayed in a room that has not even been upgraded yet. I can't wait to see the end result and we will definitely stay again. Breakfast was great. This was my first time at a Staybridge.

Very nice staff and nice clean room. They offer free dinner and beer Monday thru wednesday! Pretty good breakfast and the lady even made sausage on a stick for my toddler and I didn't even ask her! Very nice!

Clean, affordable & very friendly staff. I plan to stay here every time i visit texas tech!

It was a very good motel. Maybe 100$ per night but with free laundry and wi-fi internet. But for breakfast, please eat only things that you know... :-)
