Absolutely beautiful and so clean..I would stay there anytime. SHUTTLE to airport every hour and very close!!!

Good value. Breakfast and evening meal cancelled due to coronavirus, so that was a bummer. Easy commute to the airport. Pool was pretty good.

Loved the hotel. Although we arrived really early for our room, it only took a little bit of time for the room to be ready. Great option before cruise or after!

Manager Greg encouraged feedback. Kitchen staff was warm and hospitable. Housekeeping was very attentive to details. Not sure exactly how I feel about front desk service. Great effort but left some very important details out. Overall nice experience.

We were stayed here for 11 nights during which they were renovating the 2nd floor. There were days when the noise was loud but it began after 9a and was done by 6p. By the end of our stay the noise had lessened to almost nothing so I think they were almost finished with the 2nd floor. Our room and floor had already been renovated and it was very nice.
The hotel provides a free hot buffet style breakfast every morning and in the evenings Mon-Thurs they have a free dinner.
All the staff was great and didn’t hesitate to help us with anything we needed.
I would absolutely stay at Homewood again.

They're in the middle of remodeling. The room I had has not been touched yet. The check in has been completed as well as the lobby and breakfast areas. They look very nice. Once everything is finished it should be good.

Spent my honeymoon. Loved everything about it. Read reviews before and was a bit apprehensive, but we had absolutely no issues at all. We were allowed to check in early, room upgraded. Breakfast exact morning was good and plenty, we were out during the evenings. Stayed for a week and stocked up with stuff from walmart to last us. Enjoyed just going to areas closeby for shopping. We wanted some rest so we didn't plan too many activities to get us tired. Movie theatre was closely too, so was sawgrass mills mall.
Would stay there again whenever I visit.

Everything is extremely clean and staff is friendly. Food is great and they serve free breakfast and social dinners from M to Th. Rooms are large and suite style which gives plenty of lounging space.

For being right beside the airport the room was very quiet. Had excellent continental breakfast every day. I would stay here again. There were small cosmetic things in the room and cleanings were inconsistent.

I parked my car there like a park and fly thing. Staff was polite and shuttle to airport was on time. Will do it again

Homewood Suites allows parking for the Fort Lauderdale Airport at their facility. You simply pay a low fee and you can park your car and they will drive you to the airport.

I have stayed in MANY Homewood Suites over the last few years. During this trip, I was determined to stay in on a Homewood property, but was very disappointed with the quality of the room, service, and food choices. Usually Homewood has timely housekeeping in your room. In this hotel, it is hit or miss, and often the housekeeping is not outside your door until when you are having dinner or relaxing in your room with your family. The hotel employees do not speak good English, which is fine if you don't speak English, but a problem if you do. We had to call the housekeeping manager to help my father communicate with one of the housekeepers, and I twice had difficulty communicating with one of the male front desk trainees because he was very hard to understand through his dialect.
The food was also not nearly as good quality as other Homewood Suites. Salad and soup night was very disappointing, only one soup choice and the lettuce was wilted. The toppings for the salad were few, and "old" - like the tomato and cucumbers, they were not fresh.

The pool area is very nice, and there is a putting green, which is fun. There is a shuttle to the airport that is timely, and the lobby is a nice area for a hotel of this kind. The commissary is very expensive ($6.00 for one beer), but it is a nice lobby area. The business center is very user friendly and you can print documents, which is nice.

My room was not very clean, the carpet was dirty, the windows filthily, and the bathroom was less than pleasant (wall paper peeling off the wall, toilet paper holders falling off the wall, and it was difficult to get housekeeping to come daily to help maintain the room. We had to take our own trash out every day, literally. And we had housekeeping come only twice over a nine day stay. We had to keep calling the front desk to request people to come up when we were obviously skipped. I normally do not leave negative reviews, but this hotel could step up their game because it is a huge disappointment. I know it is usually "packed" with guests going on cruises, so maybe there is no motivation by management to make changes, but I will not stay here without absolute improvements in service, quality and cleanliness.

Very poor service upon our arrival after returning from our cruise. We had a 2 bedroom suite. 7 adults and 2 small children ages 3 and 18 months. There is nowhere to wait for your room with small children. We took a cab to Hollywood Beach (great beach). Got back at 7p m to be told that our room still was not ready. We had to get up at 4 to be on the shuttle by 5. When we were finally able to get to our room we had 3 bath towels and 3 shampoos with 1 conditioner. The beds sleep well which is a plus. This hotel may be better suited for a small group without children

Stayed in January had a much better room than be what we had this time. Very disappointed with our February stay. No help from evening hotel staff. Will be looking for new place to stay next time into fort Lauderdale

Great Hotel with relatively reasonable prices. Good rooms. Good location. Great breakfast.

Definitely, a nice place to stay even for overnights or a week's vacation. There is a manager's special from Monday to Thursday with great food and drinks in the evening, all for free. However, the handicap rooms are waaayyy in the back of the building. A person with bad hips or using a cane or walker have to walk a loooongg way going to the lobby for breakfast or for inquiry. The handicap rooms are even far from the elevators! Somebody needs to rethink about this layout. Otherwise, it is a lovely place to stay. Very nice staff.

Excellent place to stay and leave your car. We were amazed at the dinner appetizers and breakfast. The room was goid and loved the pool. Definitely will go back. Thank you.

Shuttle was slow to pick us up at the airport. Waited an hour. Bed was kinda hard but the hotel was very nice and the staff was very helpful.

I stayed here at least three times as and the staff is always professional and the complimentary breakfast is always satisfying. I am a Hilton honors member so the points add up. It is near Interstate 95 do it is well within driving distance to anything you would want or need to see.

Outside and entrance areas to the hotel have been redone. The pool area is very nice though there is no hot tub. The rooms themselves are okay, but it's time for them to be renovated.

Excellent place to stay. Clean rooms, great a/c, hot showers, fantastic accessories, friendly staff, good breakfast, spectacular happy hour with free snacks. Couldn’t ask for anything better in a hotel. Nice job folks!

I always stay here when in fort lauderdale for work. The parking is free and usually there is no problem finding a spot, but once I did get in very late and there was no available parking. The business center is right near the entrance its open. Funny enough someone did think I was a concierge once and started asking me questions about areas to visit since the computers are right next to all the brochures. I am a fan of the homewood suites room setup with the small living room to work in and then the bedrooms. I also enjoy their breakfast and their complimentary evening reception.

Great place to stay the night before you get on your cruise ship. They don't mind multiple people per room to reduce your cost. Double queen beds in most rooms but ask to be sure.

Very nice place to relax while conducting business. Front desk clerks were incredibly helpful. Cleaning staff kept hotel clean & were also very helpful. Spacious suites.

Very close to FLL airport. We were upgraded to a handicap suite with 3 queen beds, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, and living room. Everything was nice. Only issue was that the air conditioner made a rattling noise.

Well worth the money. The suites are like a comfortable one room apartment. Good free breskfast and is minutes from the airport.

Loved the breakfast every morning and the spacious suite. Very close to expressway and close to Hollywood boardwalk. Would definitely stay again and try to make it to the nightly socials!

I stayed in room 100 while the place was completely booked up. It was right near the elevator, but despite that it was nice and quiet. I had to leave early though so I couldn't review the breakfast, though the restaurant seemed to be really busy the evening before.

Experience was phenomenal! Staff was very helpful. Rooms were clean. My husband and I booked a studio room for a couple nights. The kitchen was fully equipped, from stove to toaster to dishwasher to fridge to cutting board plates knives pots pans spoons cups plates sink...i mean fully! Bathroom clean, working iron and ironing board. I mean i felt at home. I didnt want to leave. Would and will def come back.

All the staff were friendly. Breakfast was great. The manager helped us when plans changed. I didn't do a blacklight test, but everything was clean to me. I really enjoyed my stay and would choose Homewood suites again.

Perfect Place for a family trip, excellent service from all employees, with greatest professionalism. Family had to stay longer because of the pilots strike at the airport and they were super accommodating to our situation. Thanks Homewood Suites Ft Lauderdale

Staff was excellent, very nice front desk. Oddly this hotel has remodeled everything but the rooms. Was kind of uncanny to go from a beautiful modern lobby and hallways into a room from the 90s. They need to work on the rooms.

Comfortable lodgings except the pullout sofa. Oy! The mattress on that thing was atrocious even for a kid to use.

All I have to say is WOW!! After too long of a day of travel, too much time spent in an airport, a cancelled flight, no reimbursement, we booked a night here. Customer service was TOP NOTCH!! We were exhausted and disappointed we couldn't get home. To top it off it was my fiancé's birthday. We arrived just in time for happy hour (amazing free apps and drinks) AND Benny organized me getting a bottle of wine and Ben and Jerrys ice cream with a candle! So thankful we chose to stay here! :)

Enjoyable stay.

Clean room, free wifi of good quality, free breakfast (and apparently dinner, though this is a work trip and I don't return in that time frame), and an easy check in process.

I suppose the only con is that I ended up in a handicap accessible room, and the shower/bathroom design was not created with any thought of draining water that splashes out over the quarter-inch rim into a slightly concave bathroom floor, so I have to shower without any sudden movements or I end up with several puddles.

Uppn out arrival we were greeted by a very friendly and attentive staff. The hotel lobby was very clean and appeared to be well maintained. Our room was very nice and had an updated decor. The only issue was parking. We arrived at around five p.m. and there were only about 10 available spaces. We went out for dinner and drinks and arrived back to the hotel around 2 a.m. and couldn't find anywhere to park. We even drove to an adjacent hotel parking lot and couldn't find anywhere. We went inside and complained to the desk and one of the front desk workers was kind enough to go and move her car so that we could park in the front lot.

Bad service and no hot tub

My experience at this hotel was an excellent one. From our arrival and to our departure the staff were very polite and helpful. I was very impressed by how much the staff care about the little things that will make your stay more comfortable. The room was amazing, every detail eluded elegance and class. The kitchen area was very efficient and they literally you saw that they keep you in mind because everything you needed in terms of utensils were at your fingertips. The breakfast and dinner options were great. I loved the variety and quality of all that we ate. Like I said before they were very helpful and I didn't get a hint of attitude from anyone so I appreciated that greatly. This is definitely a hotel for families to book because it is children friendly and well equipped for extended stays. I did not give five stars because I was a bit disappointed with the pool maintenance. But other than that this is a great hotel.

I'm not sure where to start and after reading all this negativity what are people thinking!! I had a great experience. The front desk was attentive and knowledgeable. I was helped immediately.
Yes, the shuttle is slow in picking you up from airport, but people need to look at the traffic, look at how the driver has to move the van with the trailer in and out of that congested Ft Lauderdale Airport traffic( which by the way the van driver was helpful and courteous the whole time) I can't say enough good things about all the people at this hotel.
The room service people are honest and trustworthy. They found my car keys in the room after I left on my vacation, they called and notified me before I had landed in my destination. They held my keys in a safe place until my return.(by the way my car was parked there for 15 days and no one took a joyride!!! ) I'll tell you I was nervous about staying at this hotel only because of all the reviews that are online. Well...the hell with them...my experience was excellent and I plan to stay overnight again before my next vacation. Shuttle to airport for early morning flight was right on time...it's just the shuttle back to the hotel that takes time and people just need to get some water and wait it out...it's not more than 45 minutes at the latest and it's part of the package...free. Please give these hotel people kind words because I think they deserve it. I'll see you in 6 months!!!!! Yeah Homewood Suites!!!!
