Upgrading my original score of 1 stars to 3 stars after further consideration and writing of this review. The 1 star was based on the fact that the hotel refused to provide me a full refund when I canceled the reservation for the second night due to a partial power failure at the hotel. The 3 stars takes into account that prior to the power failure, the condition of the hotel and service of the staff were actually very good.

It was in the late afternoon when a partial power failure occurred at the hotel, It interrupted our meeting and we were unable to continue due to the lack of lighting and AC. We scoped out the situation around the hotel and spoke with the front desk. The woman behind the counter was a bit abrasive and abrupt when we asked what the issue was and when it would be resolved. To be fair, she may have been a bit frazzled by the situation, as she was polite and professional earlier that day, but still we were a bit put off by her attitude.

We waited around for about 2 hours (although, the manager disputed this and indicated it was only about 1 hour) before we went to the front desk to check out and request a refund. The manager politely refused and indicated that we still had to pay for the night since it was after 4 PM (it was a little after 7PM at that time).

We pointed out that we could not stay under these conditions, because although the power company had been called, they did not know when power would be restored. She said that since the situation was not the hotel's fault that the best she could do was refund $50. I took the money and will be submitting a complaint for a refund or credit to the hotel chain (per my friend's and the manager's agreement).

In hindsight, we thought it was strange that she didn't offer credit or another room that had working electricity. Not sure why, though.

Very pleasant stay with complementary evening snacks and a great buffet style breakfast. Very nice suite style room. Would highly recommend

Reasonable price. Wonderful location to get to where family needed to go. Good breakfast and good complimentary dinner which is Monday - Thursday. Will come back to stay.

Super clean and well thought out. We stayed in a studio and it had a fridge, microwave and dishwasher. Everything was spotless. The stafg was friendly. The free breakfast was hot (eggs, bacon, potatoes), along with the usual waffles, cereal and fruit.

Nice hotel, right next to the airport. Friendly staff, okay breakfast. No restaurants within walking distance.

Is a best places, comfortable, the personal is very attendance. Good pool and fitness according the place. The room is comfortable. I recomend.

For my wedding in the area, I stayed at the Homewood Suites aking with the bridal party. The stay overall was great! Angie in sales was very helpful except for a last minute switch, which messed up a couple aspects I had planned. Jennifer and Glenn were great at the front desk. They are very accommodating!

Very good experience, staff was great. Their conference room department is very professional, apperience and first impression is everything, no question about it this Homewood Suites nailed it! Thank you, it was a great day!

Was there for training meeting spent 2 days 1 night. Top notch hotel. Good hot breakfast. Weekday event's between 5 and 7. Free drinks and food. Clean spacious rooms excellent overall. Staff very friendly and helpful

Hotel is clean, but in need of some major updating. The hot water takes a VERY long time to warm up. The pool and hot tub were nice. The hotel gym equipment was always broken. Out of four machines, only the stationary bike worked. Hotel stay does include complimentary Golds Gym visits. Food was ok. Not my favorite Homewood, but nonetheless a Hilton Homewood suites.

My experience at this location has always been for professional meetings. My company always have their quarterly meetings here and it's always a pleasant time. They provide us with notebooks, pens, water, and a bunch of other things for our meetings. The staff is always knowledgeable and friendly; and the facilities are always clean and well kempt. So from a meeting stand point, it's pretty good.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Are pre-registration request for 1st floor away from an elevator was taken into consideration and granite Upon Our check-in. The breakfast, as always, was great. Definitely friendly for families.

Very nice place. Nice big rooms and nice kitchen, frig, stove. Very clean, reception area and people were excellent. Brought our dog, and there was a nice field across a lightly traveled road to walk "Rosie" ..

Great place to stay. The food was great every morning and evening. Very close to DocuWare and the airport. Room was always clean when I got back. Highly recommend staying here.

It's getting close to needing a refresh and the rates are a bit steep, but it's clean, convenient and the staff are top notch.

I blocked off rooms here for my wedding two weeks ago. Everything was absolutely amazing. From the very beginning they were so accommodating. I was certainly impressed with the hotel and I know my guests were too. From the after party, to the honeymoon suite, to breakfast the next day, they made my husband and I feel so special. I highly recommend them!

Always clean, warm and welcoming. Plus they offer complimentary breakfast and evening snack (dinner). Great value for money.

Room was nice, on the first floor by elevators which wasn't awesome, but couldn't hear much. Staff was super friendly and breakfast and evening reception. Room was clean and completely on part with what I'd expect for a Homewood Suites.

Beautiful and friendly. The rooms are close to home while not being at home.... and the breakfast. Every morning has a great start here with more than you can eat.

I was greeted immediately upon entering hotel. I arrived right at the 3pm check-in time and the front desk staff were going over their change of shift but I was still helped immediately. My room was clean and spacious. The only thing I did not like about the room was the tub. It was a very large step to get in and out, definitely not the typical tub height. Both the complementary evening social and breakfast were good. The staff were also very friendly. I would use this hotel again.

Very close to Stewart airport. Nice clean rooms with kitchens for extended stays. No restaurant on site but they serve munchies every night for guests. We arrived at about 8 and missed that perk. They do have frozen meals in the hotel shop for guests. I would recommend staying there.

Walls are rather thin, someone must have been working out for 2 hours above me and made a racket. The hotel is conveniently located next to the airport. Their shuttle will get you most anywhere you want to go if you ask nicely.

Went for a professional event, I did not stay overnight. The staff was very attentive and the hotel lobby and gathering rooms were very clean. Food was brought out for guests.

Extremely clean rooms, breakfast was yummy and alot of items to choose from. Everyone up to and including a pizza delivery guy from a local pizza place has been exceptionally friendly.

My husband and I had a party to attend nearby so we booked this place for the night. It is newer, clean and well maintained. The staff were available and polite. The room was large and nicely decorated.

The room was big with comfortable beds. We stayed just to sleep for the night, but it was a good experience and I would go back. They seem interested in being environmentally friendly with note cards saying what to do if you do or do not want your towel/sheets washed, and have a separate trashcan in the room for recyclables, which is something I've never seen before.

Rooms are very nice and spacious, perfect for people who travel for their jobs. The free dinners mon - thursday are also a nice touch. The food isn't great but it is free, so it's a plus in my book. Staff is always courteous and polite.

We had originally booked a room at the Ramada for a baseball tournament. Upon arrival your greeted with an overwhelming masked over stench. "indescribable". Went to our "what appeared to renovated " room and the stench was somewhat masked over by a mint smell they spray into the air conditioner. I went to the front desk to complain and I was met by hotel natzi. Once he opened his mouth disgraceful things came out. I asked for my money back and he said " your not getting anything" , you can now leave.
After looking around we found the Hilton home by Stewart airport. They took us in and treated us so well. They even have a fantastic breakfast !!! Shoppers beware of "this" Ramada

Very nice rooms, excellent breakfast, and dinner for free at 5 pm with free bud light beer on tap also red and white wine. And the food is tasty. I used throw away plates but they have nice plates and real silverware available. Perfect for those staying for a few days. Right next to airport and super Walmart is around the corner. Orange County Choppers is also near by if you want to see some awesome bikes. Easy access to highways. The staff is very friendly. Always smiling and they always greet you.

Tv wasnt working it was very hot air conditoner was broken.

Homewood Suites has very nice, spacious rooms complete suites with living area, kitchen, and bedroom. Two TVs are available and the bedroom and living space have seperate climate controls.

Homewood provdes complimentary breakfast and dinner/social evening nights. It includes free wine and soda/tea/juice.

The meeting space available is adequate for up to 150/160 guests, or as few as 30ish.

The grounds at this location are very pretty, with a nice courtyard and places to sit. Amenities inckude a fitness center and pool, and a laundry room for guests. I would stay here again.

Great place. Quiet, clean and very comfortable. The room include refrigerator, stove, microwave etc. It was like a little house. Small pool but just enough to relax with the kids. Breakfast and dinner is included. Great experience.

Suites were nice - basically a small apartment. Refrigerator, freezer, sink with garbage disposal, dishwasher, 2-burner cook top. The bathroom sink is outside the bathroom itself. The only complaint I have is the sofa pullout: very lumpy. The regular bed was quite nice.

Location - basically by itself. I was able to get a pizza delivered, though.
West Point is just over twenty minutes away.

Food - continental breakfast, not much too say. There was a complimentary dinner social listed for Mondays through Thursdays, but I did not attend.

Decent hotel. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and fairly modern. Few minor gripes, elevators are super slow and WiFi has no range into the rooms. Breakfast is a free buffet.

The rooms were fantastic and the beds were warm and comfy. Plus, I always love a waffle in the mornings

Nice hotel. Rooms are comfortable and decently sized, workable kitchen. Great for extended stay. Staff is excellent. Breakfast could use a little wider selection, but it's above average. Coffee is good!!!

Only complaint is the wifi is awful. Very spotty, speeds are straight out of the 90s. you can maybe watch an hours worth of something streaming, or you might get 10 minutes of grainy poor quality before it kicks you off. Signal strength diminishes greatly the farther you get from the door. Maybe good for checking email or the bare basics, but if you want some netflix and chill you'll have to look elsewhere.

The suite was awesome like a one bedroom apartment complete with a kitchenette, full size fridge, eating table, living room, flat screen TV, comfortable bed, spacious vanity, and shower head with adjustable settings.

I have stayed in many Homewood Suites (and Hilton products in general) all over the United States and Europe.

This hotel, like all Hilton products, is just fine by me. Perfectly clean rooms, exceedingly helpful staff, free breakfast, and free dinner too (Monday - Thursday only, unfortunately)!

I couldn't be more pleased with my stay last night.

The way my coworkers and I were treated at this property should be the standard by which all hotels treat their guests.

Can you believe: I don't even work for Hilton. I am just a thoroughly greatful man who spends a lot of time in hotels.

You will not be disappointed with this hotel. If you are, then your standards are impossibly high.
