Would have rated it better, but the roof started leaking when we stayed. Thankfully, the leak was in the hall and not in our room. Besides that the hotel is nice, though overpriced. Free breakfast (everyday) and dinner (week days) is great! Beds were comfortable! Other amenities felt slightly outdated. Guest service was good, but not great. Oh, and there is no hot tub as shown online.

I have been here at Homewood for three weeks now, due to my mother being in the hospital. I have really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are very spacious, breakfast is great, the Monday thus Thursday dinners are good. I would come here again on a vacation.The staff is great ,good place to stay in

This location is very nice. We stayed for my son's baseball tournament. They were able to accommodate our whole team and extended family in 2 days notice due to our other hotel flooding. They did they're best to get all of us checked in as our rooms became available since we have driven 13 hrs to get here. Breakfast was amazing each day. Staff was very friendly. I would totally stay here again!!

I love it here. We drove 872 miles for a awesome family reunion and stayed here. All the rooms are clean and the breakfast is delicious and talking about customer service.....yes! The cleaning crew are humble and easy to talk too. Parking lot it's so clean. The swimming pool is cleaned daily. Never been to a place where customer service was great. Yes yes yes. I would recommend this stay to anybody.

I love every stay I've had here. I am here now and I love the staff and their food. I was here during a thunderstorm and tornado and I freak out in bad weather but they were so accommodating to us and others and I truly appreciated that. A great stay!!!

Very impressed .. hotel was nice and staff friendly. Was most impressed with breakfast and supper . For the money you would be foolish to stay anywhere else. You cannot buy food and a different room for less. Supper was very good served with adult beverages if you choose.

Very nice and cleanly. Love the feature on the app that they send me a digital key when I check in online so I can go straight up to my room without having to stop by the front desk. Breakfast was good and hot.

Was in town this past weekend for my wife's birthday. And I must say we fell in love with our room and the hotel itself. I won't go into detail but we have nothing negative to say about our stay. JUST AWESOME! Will definitely be back and it's HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

The lady at the desk whose name is Belinda helps my family greatly on a family emergency. My sisters are in from out of town to visit our mom. Belinda was so very helpful to us helping us cancel the second night reservation that had already been paid through a third party vendor. She told us she would work with the third party so that we would not have to pay for the second night. I saw the room and I saw the hotel and both were beautiful and immaculate, but Belinda's cheerful attitude is what makes me give this hotel 5 stars

Very nice, and cozy! They were under construction where we were staying. The hall s had recently been floated and taped. That didn't bother us! Very nice, large room suites!! Will definitely recommend! Breakfast was awesome too!!

Newly renovated. This Homewood Suites is a good bargain. There is a daily managers's hospitality every week day, and there is a different food selection. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The price is good for the area.

This was a very clean place! There is some remodeling going on right now, so there are places where the wallpaper is not on the walls. No big deal! Still the place is very nice and quiet. The room smelled great - very clean. The bed was not super comfortable, but it was ok.

Nice and clean, sheets are very small on the beds. The covers are not sufficient for two people sharing the bed. When you turn, you pull the cover off the other person. The breakfast was good, hot and plentiful. The staff was very accommodating and friendly.

Very nice, spacious hotel. I was just very annoyed that they did not inform me when i booked the hotel room online that there is a $100 pet fee (just to have the pet there). If I knew this, I would not have booked here. I didn't like that breakfast ends early but other than those things it was a great stay. They had a nice gym and comfy beds.

Great staff and they have dinner included with your stay. Make sure you're here on a Monday to experience the gumbo, it's good and spicy! I recommend this hotel for any business traveler.

We really enjoy staying Homewood Suites, however this particular room did not quite meet the usual standards. There were several issues. 1. The closet doors were broken and I had to move them out of the way to use the closet. 2. The hose sprayer in the shower was broken. 3. There was a weird stain on the bedspread.

The staff was great. I received a phone call from the front desk in the morning. Finally, there was no water in the room when we arrived, but the desk clerk found some for us.

We will stay here again. It just needs a little maintenance.

Being that I am very picky about where we stay when traveling. I must say that this hotel exceed both of our expectations. If you like clean, courteous and spacious. You won't be disappointed. The room is super clean!! I usually wait to leave reviews after hotel stays. But I was so pleased, I decided to do it immediately.

I usually have an excellent experience at this hotel, but my last two visits were lacking in service and hospitality. I expected to get the Hilton Honors Gold treatment, but didn’t get that treatment at all. My most recent stay was the “second chance”. They failed. Won’t be staying here again.

Hotel is great! Excellent staff on site. The rooms are amazing and spotless. Had a 2 bedroom suite and it had everything you can ever ask for. Internet, TVs, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, and a kichenette. Definitely will return when in the area again.

The hotel was clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean and kept up. Also, I give the gym a good review. I would definitely stay again.

Super clean, great breakfast and the staff was really great. Only downside is that it was a little more than I wanted to spend but other than that it was a great stay.

We have never had a bad experience at a Homewood Suites hotel. This one was no exception. Our room was great, having recently been renovated. It was quiet although the hotel was almost fully booked. The best thing about our stay was actually the hotel staff. Every single employee we saw or dealt with were so friendly, kind, and truly gracious. They were the epitome of hospitality and will surely be one of the reasons we will return.

Everything was great! Location was right by interstate for easy access. Staff was very nice.

Great convenient clean place to stay. Breakfast offered is really good, basketball court and balls on site, pool area nice, and very friendly staff! Only complaint would be not being able to pick the location of your room online just the type of room.

Pretty nice hotel. Not the best service. We needed an extra towel and we called them and waited about an hour and they never brought one. The complimentary breakfast wasn't being taken care of very well. And some of fire alarm went off for a minute in the middle of the night. And this giant group of people started fighting right outside of the hotel for like 30 minutes.

Great place to stay if you need to be in Shreveport for more than a couple of days. They have planned events in the hotel every night designed to keep the family busy. However, if you are just passing through then you may want to save money and stay elsewhere.

Dinner and breakfast are free. Barbecue chicken is really good. No problems whatsoever.

We live local but stay here when we need a day of relaxation we love the indoor pool and free breakfast

We stayed here called ahead they had 1 room. They are in the process of remodeling the room had new beds very comfortable. Was clean . I like this hotel because I always have food. They have a full fridge. Had a good night sleep before we left. They do have a breakfast it is just ok . I'm vegan. So nothing I could eat but a little fruit which is fine. My husband isn't so he did eat it said it was ok. They just seem a little unorganized. Maybe because of the remodeling.
I still give it 5 stars because the room was great.

Breakfast is the usual tasty Homewood stuff. The rooms are pretty well updated, but the bathrooms leave something to be desired. My shower was pretty old, had only one tiny shelf, and actually was pretty dirty.

Our family of 4 + a large dog stayed very comfortably. The rooms were clean and wonderful.

This hotel was okay, but nothing to write home about. Staff was friendly. The facility itself needed a remodel or a deep cleaning. It was conveniently located off the highway, but it was not somewhere I would choose to stay for more than one night.

I have eaten many places in Louisiana and always look forward to cajun food when I am in town. Lots of people love this restaurant and it was very close to my hotel, so we decided to give it a try. Staff was friendly and accommodating. A few things were lacking however the staff responsiveness compensated for the miscues.

My husband and I stayed for seven days. The living room and bedroom are spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is small, but has a full size fridge, stove top, dishwasher, small sink, plates, cookware, etc. The eating area is small, but adequate for 2 people.
The hot breakfast every morning was a welcomed amenity with selections such as scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, cold cereals, fruit, yogurt, muffins, juices, biscuits, gravy, grits, and waffles most days. The evenings had a social gathering, offering food such as sliders, pasta, gumbo, nachos, or a game night.
The heated swimming pool is open all year, but it is located outside. The gym is nice to use. And the laundromat is a handy addition.
You have interesting things to do downtown, such as casino's, a river cruise, and lots of restaurants in the area.
The people at Home wood Suites are some of the most friendly and helpful you can find, from the minute you walk in the doors. They really do make you feel at home! We will definitely be back.

Just stopped to visit some friends. The room was very nice and clean. The bed wasn't too bad either.

The room is wonderful and I love staying here. My only complaint is housekeeping me so obnoxiously loud in the morning. I know they want to do their work and go home, but we are paying guests until 12pm and would like to enjoy our whole stay. Hard to do that with so much beat and banging around in the hall.

I stayed in room 427 and was very displeased with the cleanliness of the room. The bathroom and carpet were the worst. Dishes were dirty and there was an odor to the room. This Homewood Suites was in Shreveport, La. Front desk clerk never spoke or acknowledged me.

The room was nice, A/C took a while to cool the room though. Walls are very thin. Pool is great, wish it had a little shade. Breakfast is included and pretty good.

Everything was great the only thing i would say to be wary of is the food it was not as good as expected but there are plenty of good restaurants in the area.

Upon arrival 12:30 AM, the front desk lady (who was very funny) was not at the front desk and we had to wait a moment. Once she gave us our room, we went up and found it already propped open which was alarming and so my husband checked it out and found the shower door broken. We then got a new room and within 30 minutes the fire alarm in the whole building went off (1:45 AM) and the front desk lady and security was no where to be found until the fire department gave us an all clear which we thought was odd. When she returned (after the all clear) she acted like she didn't know what was going on. The sheets were scratchy, pillows sucked, and the bed was not comfortable. I'm so glad it was only for one night. Pretty disappointed.

My family and I, which included our dog, stayed here for 2 nights while a family member was in the hospital. There is a wonderful buffet breakfast that includes waffles you can make right there on a waffle iron, bagels, eggs, sausage, and the standard offerings of pastries and cereals.

The staff was very sweet, friendly and accommodating. Matthew and Kendra, and our housekeeper, whose name I cannot remember, were so customer service oriented and really made each guest feel like they were at home while maintaining an impeccably professional atmosphere.

The price was comparable to some of the hotels in town that were just rooms and not suites.

I look forward to staying here again when our family member has follow up visits in Shreveport.
