Older property, but very well maintained. I'll be staying again on my way back through. Convenient location to Hollywood casino.

The room was super spacious. It was not as clean as I would like. I could see the dust around the closets and there were so stains on the bed sheet. Luckily, I was booked a 2 room suites so I was able to move to the other room.
The front desk person was very unfriendly when I checked in; however, the staff (cleaning, kitchen, breakfast) were super friendly and provide great customer service.
The breakfast was decent. It's, of course, not as great as the breakfast you would get at Embassy Suites.
The hotel is next to a gas station with a subway and a hardee (?), so if you want some variety in food, you will have to go further out.

The rooms are great, fridge and freezer, microwave and stove top, small dining table (seats 2). Hotel is very clean, breakfast is good, dinner with complimentary beer or wine is very good (menu varies by day). The workout room is very small, pool looks good.

Room is very clean. Our fridge has an ice maker which is very nice. The bed is very comfortable. Lots of channels. Couldn't really sit on the couch; it's a pull out sofa bed but I think the mattress is not right so the cushions tip and sink down. Breakfast is very good. Lots of hot and cold fresh options. I would pay $7-10 for it I liked it that much.

Location was easy to get to, but the layout was absolutely sprawling. It was convenient to get to my car but getting to the lobby was a trek. Front desk staff was super friendly and welcoming! Rooms seemed on the older side, the chair legs were on the verge of breaking and someone had clearly tried to kick in the door between the bedroom and bathroom. The couch cushions would immediately sink into the couch because of the strange shape of the pull out bed, so it was basically unusable. A/C unit made a weird buzzing sound so I had to keep the fan on even when the AC was off to drown it out.

I've stayed here quite frequently over the last few years. The staff is always friendly and the rooms are always clean. Good drinks at the evening reception and decent food, although somewhat repetitive for repeat guests.

Staying here for over 3 weeks while up here for a promotion. Absolutely BEST hotel I've stayed at. Gloria is the chef at night at she is by far the best employee there. She is so polite, helpful, and over great person. Sean works the counter and he is more than happy to help anyone that needs it. Both Gloria and Sean are great and should be commended for their great work!!!!

The location of the hotel is easy to commute to and from. Located next to some of our favorite placea to visit. Also we enjoy the quiet location also. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast this time was okay, could be better.

Good location. This hotel is next to Hollywood casino and the shuttle will take you there with no charge. It is also very close to the Ameristar casino. It is normally the cheapest hotel to stay in the area. The price saving is considerable. Parking is free. Gas station is close enough to walk. Burger King and Subway in side. Dave & Busters is a minute away - they have good food and drink selections.

Hotel overall good with a variety of room selections. Indoor pool.

Great place to stay. The breakfest was great, the hotel was nice and clean, the rooms were lovely. The pool was a fun place for the kids to swim. Highly recommended staying here great time.

It was a nice Homewood! The staff was very friendly and even housekeepers said hello. The location wasn't too far from where we needed to be and it was much quieter than the city center.

Not as clean or as nice as other Homewood Suite locations I've stayed. There are nicer hotels in the area that are similarly priced and have on site restraunts and bars. Not much in the way of dining options near by this location and no room service available.

A colleague stayed here. My experience with it was just picking him up and his impressions of it. He thought that for the rate, the hotel wasn't as good as the Drury I was staying at 3 miles away.

Great place for a family reuinion. 2 summer, 2 weddings. Grill, BB court, lots of lobby sitting area, breakfast area all very well maintained.

This place is a great place to stay. The rooms are large, clean and up to date. There is plenty to choose from for breakfast without waiting. The only drawbacks are the proximity to a busy road and a landfill. That being said, I never once smelled the landfill in my room.

Staff has great customer service! We had a fairly large group staying here for our reunion. Hotel kitchen staff were courteous enough to keep the breakfast bar open a little longer to ensure everyone ate. The rooms were nice and clean as well. Our floor's housekeeping staff Keya always made sure we had everything we needed for our stay.

Wonderful rooms, great location if you like going to casinos but don't like staying at one, and less than 10min away from the airport. Everybody that works there has a smile on their faces and the food that they serve in the morning and evening would make you consider if you want to go out an eat.

Staff is super friendly and courteous. Quiet, comfortable place to stay. I've stayed here several times in the past year, and haven't found a reason to stop coming back. I'll definitely stay here again.

Love this hotel. Full kitchenette with pots and pans, cups, plates. Some rooms have separate bedrooms. Other rooms are just one big suite. Bath and toilet in separate room, sink, mirror and hair drier in open area. Quite space, great staff, guest accessible grill for outdoor cooking, average swimming pool, basketball court. Freshly remodeled. Don't hesitate. You won't be sorry.

The hotel is located right off of the highway which is extremely convenient for traveling. The rooms are spacious, clean, and the beds are comfortable. The staff are friendly and responsive to requests made during our stay.

Very nice hotel. Room was spacious, the two room design made it feel larger than it was. Staff was very courteous and pleasant. I was surprised that it wasn't much more expensive.

The Continental breakfast is delicious and the breakfast area was very warm and inviting. Wish it had a hot tub... However the stay was comfortable and affordable.

Rooms are always clean. Common areas are usually clean. The breakfast isn't the best (eggs are runny, potatoes a little soggy, etc.), but it's not terrible either. Workers are friendly and very helpful. I would recommend staying here and I would stay here again.

Decent hotel, friendly service. Room was decent for the rate. Was clean. We had a meeting room As well, but it was basically a room suite with the bed removed, folding tables, projector and portable screen. Wasn't ideal but it worked.

The hotel staff was amazing in helping to accommodate me and really went above and beyond. They were extremely friendly. The hotel itself is on the better side of average for a Homewood. The location in general is good if you want to be close to the airport but not next to it and also don't want to fight the traffic over the bridge to St. Charles. The landfill next door is a downside as the smell in the evenings can be strong. Overall, it is a good hotel that I have stayed at a few times now and would stay at again in the future.

This is my favorite hotel for business stays in the Riverport loop. I like the spacious rooms, full desk, kitchen and living room to make my stay more enjoyable when unwinding from the day. My only complaint is that the fitness room could use a little upgrade (machines need service and a few more weights/bands etc.) - as of Jan 2017

The room was nice but smelled like old Chinese food. The breakfast was surprisingly good. They even had a setup to make your own waffles

I found out that all Homewood Suites are not as nice as the Joplin location.
Big disappointment since time of check in . Room not very clean and had to get the 'stink bugs' out. Reserved this hotel in advance and stated I Need a crib or pack and play. When we arrived late from being on the road we were told they would bring the pack and play up. After 2 calls down to the front desk we get told " we don't have cribs and only 1 pack and play which is being used....but if we do find another one we will bring it up" seriously...do you know what you just said??
Now it's 10:30pm with a tired 1 year old. Now I'm ready to leave to another hotel!!
Not happy, will ask for discount in Morning and will follow up this review with results.
It only gets better...1am we wake up to the fire alarms and the fire trucks...ended up being teenagers.

Nice room, but you can't get hotel staff to do their job to save their own life. We checked in on Friday and there were no sheets or blankets for the sofa bed. We called down to the desk and requested some. After 30 minutes of waiting we called AGAIN, finally after 10-15 minutes they brought some, but just sheets no blanket. Early Saturday morning we woke and realized we had only 3 towels, even though we reserved the room for 4 people. So we called to the desk again to see if we could get another towel, guess what we never got. Shortly thereafter we left for the zoo and after spending all day there we came back to a room that was never touched by the maids. Now I don't expect turnover service or anything, but is it too much to ask to get clean towels and trash changed? We had to visit the front desk too get clean towels and extra soap and shampoo. Sunday rolls around and we headed to the museum all day and like the day before we returned to the room untouched. So at this point we have 2 days worth of towels piled up in the bathroom and trash piling up in bags, being they don't actually have full sized trash cans. I've stayed and Homewood Suites before up 2 other locations. One was great, the 2nd we had to change rooms because of a horrible smell in the room, and this one... well let's just say we won't be staying here again. For the price of the room I expected better. For the kind of customer service I would expect a Motel 6.

Elevator was not working at the time that I staying there. The shuttle crew was under staffed which made it hard to get a ride anywhere, but when they were available they were friendly, and they knew the area really well. A lot of places to eat within the area that the shuttles are willing to go.

I stayed in a King Suite and the room was nice enough. Breakfast was what was expected. Annoyed when housekeeping took all the towels and didn't replace them, didn't empty the trash and didn't replace the coffee. I was annoyed but overall the stay was good. Would stay again.

Great suites for long stays and family stays. The rooms are equipped with full kitchen.

The staff, location (close to work for me), and the rooms themselves are spectacular! The hotel offers free shuttle services to any location in a five mile radius. This includes restaurants, grocery stores---you name it! I am very impressed with the staff here. The manager assists in giving rides (sometimes even in his own car!) when all the shuttles are out taking other people. How many hotel managers would do that? Complimentary breakfasts and dinners are offered Mondays-Fridays.

Most of the rooms have a king-sized bed or two queen-sized beds. Guests are mostly business travelers so if you are looking for peace and quiet during the night, this is one of the best places to stay if you are in the St. Louis area! Be sure to book two to three weeks out since those rooms tend to get booked very quickly!
