Very nice upmarket hotel, we popped in for a cocktail. Staff were friendly but our 2 drinks took 35 minutes to come. Drinks were very nice when they arrived. Not cheap, which was expected as soon as we walked in! Worth a visit if you've got deep pockets and plenty of time on your hands.

The patisserie is really nice and charming, personnel gentile. Cakes are goods but far to be excellent.

One of the most beautiful and best hotels in Paris. Their breakfast is superb although extremely pricey. Did i mention the rooms are very expensive too? But if money is no object then this is the place to stay in Paris

The most famous thing about this hotel (except the six season of Sex and the City) is the Alain Ducasse restaurant. Here, at the Plaza Athénée the restaurant turns the conventions of fine dining establishments on their heads with a distinctive aesthetic. It is two restaurants in one, providing a different ambience for lunch and dinner. And it is just unforgettable!

Best location whether you are travelling for business, tourism or just shopping. Great room, restaurant, and amazing staff - I lost my passport and they helped me find it back. The bar on the ground floor is a mix of local and tourist hangout place

We had dessert and tea here at La Galerie, which like the other restaurants at this hotel is headed by famed French chef Alain Ducasse. It was pricey at about 20 euros per dessert and 20 euros per drink, but totally worth it for my exquisite grapefruit pamplemousse

Just love it! We visited the garden for lunch and a much needed paus. It was amazing. I can also recommend the Dior Institute at the hotel.

We only had a sunday brunch here, but we left the place totally mesmerized. We expected enough from it, but we left even more satisfied....Everything from Hello to Goodbye, from ceiling to floor was great. P.s. not to mention that you cam randomly meet and greet with one of your fav football players. 😉😎

Gorgeous Hôtel. Amazing staff. We went for Sunday brunch and loved every minute of it. I was worried sick a posh hotel would not welcome my 18 month old son but they were so friendly towards him and catered to his every need.

The Plaza Athénée a bygone « Palace » in which the absentee are a commonplace.

The Plaza Athénée is an hotel in which the Sales Director hadn’t his business card handy and of which the General Manager is almost regularly vanished. I know the Plaza Athenée in which there was a time I had diverse signs of attention but above all not any sounding consideration I would say instead and further the years went by an appalling display of ludicrous hypocrisy. Unfortunately these signs seems furthermore false despite of rather sounding efforts made by the
executive committee which most of the time is away rather sadly.
This hotel that I used to go to after the concert with my mother at the “Théatre des Champs Elysées” has denatured over the years.
Today it’s rather sad to see that this hotel is “blasted” by so much equivocal judgements and condescending attitudes towards the common visitor to such a point that it is becoming above
displeasure. The square meter where you ought to be seated is calculated with the utmost precision when entering the Plaza Athenée your freedom to move is at stake, it is highly scrutinized and watched. To find a spot where you would like to sit has become a nightmare, you are forbidden to go as you pleased nor to meet whomever seems to be convenient to your feelings and need as far as any effort you do dress with the proper set of the clothes when you set foot in this establishment is none of their concern.Such an example is for François Delahaye
the Chief Operating Officer the Dorchester Group and General Manager at the Plaza Athenée a true ghost by himself of whom the presence is scarce. He is a ghost by himself who has a extremely short memory of whom he sees from one week to another. Such behaviour is rather unfortunately for others and fortunate for him he compensate all that with an awfully kind attitude, it’s one of his sharp tricks, in doing so he provide you with a smokescreen of illusions pretending he is the sweetest person to you.Upon meeting you one day he greets you highly then the week after such as a shadow he has become an unavailable illusion. And most of the encouragement and promises he granted you with have vanished. A lady instead is sent to you generally the kind of person you never asked for, for the simple reason that she is absolutely not aware of what you talked with Mr Delahaye. And above all she has way less consideration for you that he has for the simple fact that she has no clues about what you and Mr Delahaye talked upon.
For all these great misconceptions I have the utmost reluctances and dilemma to again set foot in
the Plaza Athenee and take as any drinks that anyone among them would like me to take. I am wary to go in a place filled with lost illusions and promises with no future. Hotels are filled with international travellers that they welcome daily. As far as I am affected by and concerned I became rather an unwanted stranger to the place far more than an appreciated and considered individual.

I went there to try the tea time in the gallery. I have to say I was expecting a lot more from a hotel of this standard. Pastries where ok but the service was a bit slow and not very reactive. I left a bit disappointed

A special Hotel. Sex and the City suite and views of the Tower

Such a beautiful & first class hotel it's breathtaking, the upkeep is impeccable. Though a lot of guests are 'snobbish' the staff is so rounded and kind to everyone that enters, they are total first class without being over the top. Everything about this place is perfect from the lobby, bedrooms, food, and staff. THIS is a true 5 star hotel.

Al-Lulu Beach House (Essam Al-Muhaidib)

I originally wanted to stay here because of Sex and the City. And it turned out to be oh so much more! Upon entrance you feel elevated, pampered and really taken care of. We stayed in a 1-bedroom suite with a view of the Eiffel Tower. What can I say? The room was so beautiful that I was smiling just looking around, the bed was extremely comfortable, and they have a beauty pillow which to me was the best pillow I have ever slept on, the bathroom is luxurious and the service is just wonderful. I love their concierge service - when you reserve a place, you are given a card with a concierge stamp on it and it is your ticket everywhere! Our dinner at the Alain Ducasse restaurant downstairs was sensational (although we seemed to be the youngest couple there) It is perfectly located on Avenue de Montagne, just minutes away from the boutiques and the famous Champs Elysees. I think this is the best hotel you can stay at when in Paris. It was a dream come true for me.

Our favorite Hotel in Paris. The suites are exquisite as are the junior suites. The staff works hard to be sure we get accommodations to our liking. The location is convenient to most of the neighborhoods you would want to visit. The restaurants are among the very best in Paris.

We had a junior suite right above the main entrance to the hotel. Awesome view - could see the Eiffel at the end of Montaigne. The suite had a living room that was beautifully furnished and a separate bedroom to match. Bathroom was very large with beautiful high quality appointments throughout.

The staff was friendly and helpful, although they did seem eager to make sure you were a guest of the hotel before giving you the good treatment. The concierge was able to secure a reservation for us at Atelier Joel Robuchon (St. Germain) for the same day as our request.

Great people watching - very international, and well dressed crowd.

Only down sides were slow wireless internet and the pipes in the wall quietly howl like owls at night. Also, the scent throughout the hotel is a bit powdery and strong - the rooms were an exception as they always smelled splendid...
