I liked it, because of the lake that was 2 blocks away, not to mention the mansions in the area. Parking you will pay, promise! Clean, no bed bug there. Kitchen...total kitchen...breakfast was not good, but free. Can't have everything. Good hotel, hands down.

Stayed at the Hyatt House for 2 nights and it was great! The staff were very friendly and accommodating - checking in and out was easy and there was no wait. The place has a pretty modern feel (spacious lobby and bar, higher ceilings, a large bathroom mirror, glass shower door, mini sofa, etc) which is a huge plus. There's even an exercise room. My room was clean and comfortable, and there was free wifi. The location is good as well - everything in downtown Evanston is within walking distance, including the train and Northwestern campus.

This is a fantastic hotel tucked away in a northern suburb of Chicago near the campus of Northwestern. The staff is friendly and courteous. The rooms are very nice. The neighborhood is great.

Our shower grip was broken, also our toilet seemed to be plugged, before we had even used it, and we were told we had to unplug it! Although, the manager came and unplugged it for us and apologized. Fridge was quite loud at night. Amazing food service, and easy going. No parking, you must pay.

Stayed here with a large group and we can't say enough good things! The staff were great to work with and went above and beyond in making our stay fun, easy, and convenient.

Had a very good stay, beyond our expectations. staff was very friendly, room was clean. Breakfast was great! Will definitely make this our go to Hotel if we ever come back to this area! Loved the location, easy walk to so many different shops and restaurants! Best sleep I've had in a hotel also.

Awesome facility. The rooms and staff are great. The complimentary breakfast was even good. This is by far the best extended stay facility that a have ever lodged at.

The location is kinda diffcult to find. The parking is expensive and very hard to find on the streets. The rooms are great. Great view from the window

Had a great time at Hyatt House. Went for our anniversary. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The patio area off the second floor was a quiet relaxing way to spend some time outside. However, the light in the entry way of our room turned on several times during the night. Overall, a nice hotel in a great location.

Great location for visiting Evanston/Northwestern. Great service - they allowed us both early check-in and late check-out. Very comfortable room. Would stay here again.

Excellent location within 5 minutes walk to downtown Evanston and about 10 minutes to Northwestern. It's a new hotel. The rooms are nicely furnished. The gym is nice. Breakfast is reallt good.

Clean room, great shower, friendly service. Only downside: AC only goes down to 68.

Great location and awesome breakfast. Only negative comment is the room temperature. The room thermostat was set and could not be adjusted, nor did it the room temperature react to the "set" temperature. (Even if set at 68 degrees it never went below 73 degrees.) The room was so hot (even though it was snowing outside) and it made it very uncomfortable to sleep.

I reserved a hotel room block with Hyatt House for my wedding in February. They have been communicative and helpful, upgraded our rooms and when there was a bit of a SNAFU with check-in, they were helpful in troubleshooting the issues. Overall, the service was great. The rooms, breakfast, decor, hospitality- all were superb!

Excellent service, very clean and the location is perfect! Loved the one room suite...felt like our own apartment! The breakfast was an added bonus. We would definitely stay there again. 👍🏼👍🏼 (Lack of a pool was the only reason why I have it a 4 instead of a 5.)

The people who work here are nice and diligent, the breakfast is awesome (omelet bar!), everything is new, and the price is reasonable. It's really convenient for visiting Northwestern. I'd definitely stay here again.

Great place, friendly and nice staff. Perfect rooms. Calm atmosphere. Would stay there again. Quite far to go to the city, but if you want that there are more "nearby" hotels in the city.

Good location. Clean. Friendly staff. Biggest complaint is that the shower door doesn't seal very well, so a little water pools on the floor. Would stay here again.

Located just outside of Chicago, near a park. Parking was super easy.

You can tell the hotel is new. Nice night rooms. Very comfortable beds, our queen had 4 pillows. Nice shower with good pressure.

The contennal breakfast was amazing, normal selection; cereal, begals, muffins ect. But what made it goes was that they even had a omelette bar. Placed what you want on the paper and they will make it.

We stay here at least once a year and have had a great experience every time. The rooms are spotless and have a modern design. The location allows for easy access to Chicago as well as points north for exploring the rest of the Chicagoland area. Highly recommend.

Rooms are very nice, and service is friendly. The included breakfast isn't anything to rave about but it is far above the standard continental, offering hot items such as pancakes, eggs, and hash browns. They also offer an omelette station which was a nice touch. The location is great, with a Giordano's just down the street and easy access to the rest of Evanston.

I was surprised to find this Hyatt at Chicago suburbs & was a very good decision, the omelette bar is wonderful , the employees have very good attitude, nice location; definitely is my hotel list.

What a fantastic hotel!!! The location is great, the rooms are like little apartments, the staff is amazing and the price is very good! We stayed at this property last year when it first opened. The staff was excellent! When we stayed for a week this year, the staff remembered us!! BY NAME!!! I would like to give a special shout out to Sarah Kvamme , Rachel H and Marlena Karwowski!! They made us feel like family! I can not speak more highly of this group of people in this great hotel!

What a room!!! Clean friendly service and just a slick hotel. Nice small bar and a great free full breakfast each morning.

The service was great. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was good and the location near public transit was ideal.

Excellent rooms with very comfortable beds. There was just enough extra seating to make it somewhere two or three people could congregate for discussions prior to heading out for the evening.

The morning's breakfast was better than average. The fruit and yogurt was definitely preferred over the eggs and bacon, but the made-to-order omelet was a highlight.

Unfortunately, our room looked "inward" to a parking area leaving us with little view to enjoy waking up to. But, for all the other options it offered, this was a only a small ding.

There was no pool but it was very clean and modern and contemporary. Breakfast was swell and the rooms were very unique looking. There's also a bar on the 1st floor ;)

Incredibly friendly, accommodating staff. We were placed here by a third party, through our insurance company, due to water damage in our home. We have a cat. We arrive to find they only allow service dogs. A few phone calls were made, the ok was given since we did not fraudulently make the reservations ourselves, we were given the lovely one bedroom suite the third party had originally booked. Everyone is happy and it truly is a very nice hotel.

Other than the random bug who showed up in our bathroom the stay was wonderful, breakfast was just what we needed and the valet was super kind

Evenston is a Beautiful Town. Took a Suite. Realy felt like home! Only 30 min from ORD.

The hotel was a great place to stay in Evanston. The rooms were modern, clean, and quiet, and the complimentary breakfast was really great!

Modern and nicely furnished rooms that feel like home away from home. Literally said on several occasions during the stay that the room would be a perfectly ideal apartment. Great location and easy access to all that Evanston has to offer including the University and many dining options. The fitness room has plenty to offer and the checkin and checkout staff were friendly and efficient.

The hotel is relatively brand new and is in excellent shape. Friendly staff, great service, easy to get to and located right in the heart of Evanston.

The rooms are clean and well appointed. The staff is extremely helpful, polite and informative. We called the front desk for two things and they delivered in less than 5 minutes both times. Breakfast was more than we expected; great omlets, fruit, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, yogurt, etc.

Parking is not free and very expensive, but everything about the hotel is excellent. Very clean, good free breakfast, modern feel.

We stayed a few months after the hotel opened and it was clearly still undergoing growing pains. We were initially assigned a room which not only had not been fully cleaned, but had a malfunctioning air conditioner. While the mistake was rectified, in general the employees seemed unfamiliar not only with the area, but with their own hotel's amenities, with all but one unaware of the existence of a printing service listed in the hotel book. Furthermore, parking is overpriced for the area. The location and physical condition of the hotel, however, were good.

Good, clean room. Good workout area. Excellent breakfast, but only served until 9 am on weekdays. Solid experience overall.

Staff overall is friendly. When we first arrived on Friday, August 26 the valet person wasn't helpful at all and his tip showed it... none. Everyone else was very kind and helpful. Clean and comfortable location.

Excellent rooms, excellent service and amenities go above and beyond. They have a gym, common rooms, a patio, and Continental breakfast. Overall fantastic stay.

We enjoyed our stay at this recently opened hotel. The location was convenient for us at it was close to the venue wedding, whole foods, and bars, restaurants. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a nice, modern design. I would stay here again should I ever come back to Evanston.
