The hotel rooms are brilliant, but the service could be better. There was only one bathrobe and slipper in the room for the pool. We called for 1 more which took more than 15 min to come. Then at around 11pm we were hungry and wanted in room dining, which they didn't have. Next day we wanted bathing towels, which we called 3 times to remind and it took almost half n hr for it to come.

One thing first: Being Swiss, I love the Mövenpick brand. Childhood memories, fantastic ice cream, nice hotels. So, I was really looking forward to my one night at this property. And disappointed I was: The rooms are in a bad state, the pool seems last to have last been cleaned before the pandemic, tiles are missing, beautiful Frangipani flowers are floating in in masses in the water. The massage jets in the pool are visibly broken. The deck chairs were dirty and have seen better days, the parasol was also in a lamentable state. And as I had a shower in my room after my visit to the pool, I noticed that the shower was really not very clean, hair from other guests still there and the toilet smelled... And the pillows on the bed seem to have seen much, much better days as well. Well, I am still here. Hopefully the breakfast tomorrow will be making up for some of the disappointment... This property is classified as 5 star. I have seen 3 star hotels in a better state. This will - it saddens me to say - be my first and last stay ever at this hotel.

The breakfast was excellent, very impressed with the people working there. Loved the coffee. People like Jack, Martin (restaurant) and Pat on reception sorted out little requests with noticeable professionalism. Location is awesome. Rooms slightly dated but truly excellent value all considered

The staff at the entrance were always very friendly and welcoming asked if I needed anything. That was the best part of the service. Staff at the front desk also tried to accommodate my needs and did a great job.

Location is above average as it is a 5 min walk to terminal 21/ nearest bts station. Wouldnt be an issue if taking grab anyway.
Good price for what you get. Feels like a 4 star hotel.

For some reasons there seems to be a damp odor on arrival at the hotel which made the experience not as great as I remember from before. The room is clean and modern and feels comfortable. The only thing is the theme of the hotel is black in general and the elevator and room that i stayed in seem to be relatively dark.

I enjoyed my stay in the hotel.

They confirmed my test & go package within one day, which is very fast compared to the other hotel I previously booked.

The staffs are really attentive and helpful, the location is central and quiet. The room is clean and the food from room service is very tasty.

Our stay was perfect.
The hotel was located fine from the market and offered plenty of options to eat and hang around the hotel.

Just a little attention to the breakfast would be really nice. Checking the nationalities of guests checked in, and keeping an eye on what that people of that nationality normally eat from breakfast would be great.

Overall everything was perfect.

Classy property with some really helpful staff. Judy at the reception went out of her way to got us our room even though we showed up before our check in time (flight landed at 7am and check was supposed to be 12pm, but she got us the room by 9.30 am!).
The rest of the staff is equally helpful and we couldn't have asked for more. The room are clean and comfortable. There is a regular shuttle service, every 15 mins, to the terminal 21 mall. The gym, pool and rooftop bar are excellent.
Would definitely recommend this to anyone.

The check in process experience could have been better. Arrive at 2:45pm but room type booked is not available, asked to change to another room type. Greatly affected the whole customer experience since day 1.

The foods offered in breakfast had limited variety. And it seems it has lesser food offered compare to last year.

But most staff are friendly tho’.

Bathroom’s showers still have the water temperature inconsistent issue like what I faced last year.

Overall the hotel was fantastic. The Thai staff especially the men staff were one of the best I’ve seen. The only gripe I have is with the only western staff at checking in. First I was told that I had to wait an hour because the rooms weren’t ready for another hour. ( I get it as sometimes hotels need extra time when people check out late.). What made me upset was when she asked me if wanted to pay in US dollars or Thai baht. I asked her if it mattered and she replied no. Then I replied “whatever” and asked to do the transaction in US dollars. About 5 seconds later she lands me this receipt showing a 3 percent surcharge when paid in US dollars. That’s when I told her to stop and told her I wanted to pay In Thai baht. She simply said it’s too late and the transaction was complete. I asked her why didn’t you tell me those in the beginning ? She simply coldly replied “I’m sorry “ ( without any look of remorse) and nothing can be done. then she looked at the customer behind me implying I should just move on . I was too tired and didn’t want to argue at that time . What a horrible receptionist . Only bad service I got in my 14 day trip in Bangkok.
But again I must say the hotel was fantastic, clean and breakfast was decent. The Thai staff and their hospitality was one of the best. Customers should tip them as they are well worth every bit .

Great location and of course very friendly staff:

I stopped by Bangkok for 2 days before going to Phuket. Although I didn’t choose it for its facilities, I liked the little pool at the roof and it was great to have the air conditioned gym.

The hotel has a modern and relaxing ambient. Bangkok is a great, but it can be overwhelming. It was great for me when I arrive to the hotel after a long day, and relax.

The hotel has the shuttles (small golf cars) that take you to the nearest train/metro station. Although it’s quite short distance, you will appreciate that at such hot weather.

And don’t be scared to use the room service: I was lazy enough to also eat at my room a couple of times. The food is quite delicious and the price is affordable.

I have no pictures in this post, but this is more like a city kinda hotel. You can trust the pictures on the hotel’s website.

We had a fantastic stay at Movenpick. We booked through the hotel website and received a free upgrade to the executive room which included lounge access, a drinks and snacks reception from 5.30pm, followed by 600 Baht credit to spend at the restaurant. The room was spacious and decorated well, and the overall aesthetic of the hotel is lovely. Meals were fantastic, especially a great breakfast selection with live stations. Close proximity to the main road with shopping mall Terminal 21 about a 5-10 minute walk. Would highly recommend this hotel for a couple or small group!

The hotel is a very cozy and lovely one. Perfect location with the shuttle service, which allow guests to move around easily. During our stay, we had two dinners at the hotel. All were quite nice. The variety of breakfast is also sufficient. I would also like to highlight the chocolate time during 4 to 5 PM, that allow guests to have a refreshment before the long night life in Bangkok.

This is a very well run hotel with welcoming staff. The room was very clean and airy and all facilities within it worked perfectly.
There is a very well appointed rooftop swimming pool which allows a customer to isolate from the bustle of the city around.
I have only two critical comments.....the hotel is unmarked and is difficult to find and it is not clear why it should be so "hidden". Second point is about payment. When booking we are told that no payment will be taken from the card and it would only be "authorised". I found that one night had been charged to my card and my bank balance reduced accordingly. The desk informed that it would reappear in my account but it could take up to 14 days. This I found to be unacceptable and stated that I required it to be refunded at once - which it was within 24 hours. I prefer to pay cash for hotels and not use cards.

Service is good, especially to compliment Mr A. Who do extra mile to Ensure my requirement is met accordingly . His professionalism in the service and attitude is the best I had ever met from those hotels I ever stay before. Environment is good and the rooms far from what is had expected. Overall the hotel has impress me in their service and environment during my stay.

The staff at the reception as well as at the restaurant for breakfast were exceptionally kind. The choice and quality of breakfast was excellent. I would most likely come back again if it is assured to get a room with view. My room was dark and curtains needed to stay closed also during the time, as the window was facing a storied parking garage by just a few meters. Anyone would be able to look inside while parking their car.

The hotel staff service is excellent, lots of smile and with warm welcome every time I went to the lobby. The food in the restaurant is very tasty and I enjoyed the in room dining service so much! The hotel room is spacious, clean and tidy with all the amenities I need. Nice interior design with a modern and trendy look and feel. I would love to stay again next time.

Boy, A and Ole were very helpful to us our entire stay 🙏thank you my friends. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying our time in Thailand. The hotel was beautiful, breakfast I recommend and the Rainforest rooftop bar and pool area was lovely. Very nicely located. We actually walked to most of the things we did that wasn’t tour related. We will definitely stay again!

P.S. room service chicken club was tasty if you order up on a lazy day. :)

I have enjoyed my stay at Movenpick Hotel. The food at the restaurant is very good. The staffs are friendly and very helpful. The hotel room is very clean and I like it. Shops are just a minute walk away, free transport from Tuktuk were also provided to nearby shops etc. Meeting rooms were also in the hotel which is very convenient during my 3 days workshop at Bangkok.
I would recommend this hotel to my friend who would wish to visit Bangkok.

This is my second time staying at Movenpick Bangkok. Once we stepped into the property, we felt welcome. As we had booked the executive room, we were ushered to the executive lounge for checking in. To my surprise, the front office staff (apologies for not getting her name) actually knew I stayed there before! The personal touch is certainly welcomed and heart warming. Throughout the stay, she had accommodated to our requests and also make it a point to remember us, the guests. Would make it a point to remember her as well if we were to stay there again !

The hotel has good location and your shuttle service to Terminal 21 is very convenient. Your personal is very friendly and helpful. The executive rooms are very clean and comfortable.
Only the the club lounge has a poor selection for the breakfast and snacks in the evening.
The Movenpick Jomtien (we stay there for 2 weeks) is much better, if I compare the same category.
Anyhow I enjoy the stay in your hotel

Unpleasent smell in the corridor. Room was nice, spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet in general ok, but I expected more quality. Limited choice of bread. Bread and croissants tasted not crispy and fresh. In other places the croissants kept warm.
Not enough chairs at the swimming pool.
All in all not bad but not good enough to stay there again.

Movenpick Bangkok is an outstanding hotel nestled inside the busy street of Sukhumvit. The interior and exterior of the hotel is magnificent and the pool area is top notch. The rooms are suitably large with good beddings and very clean. However, I found few shortcomings in the hotel starting with absence of electric kettle which proved to be very inconvenient. The menu of the pool area and the main restaurant is also very restrained and limited giving very few choices for the hungry diners. Apart from this, this is a very beautiful hotel with friendly staffs.

Perfect location great pool and breakfast. Staff helpful slept like a baby. Pity no welcome drink or fruit basket or anything just give us your credit card and here's your key!! Strange since we were staying 8 nights!! Nothing fancy but clean!! Perfectly located to shops and shuttle service great.

Room was clean and new, but a bit small for a 5 star hotel.
Bathroom was nice and clean, excellent shower.
Staff friendliness was excellent everywhere in the hotel.
Breakfast was quite busy, and could have offered more Asian/Thai dishes.

Very nice hotel. However, I requested my travel agent to book two twin-bed rooms but hotel gave us two king-bed rooms. It's a mistake by my travel agent. But Front desk lady promised me to give me two blankets but finally she forgot to do so. Anyway, all staff are very nice and helpful. The restaurants are good. I stayed in Movenpick for 5 days. Hope the breakfast will have more choices in future. Good location and I must book Movenpick again. Thank you so much.

Very nice place. Lovely location. Quick check in. Decent rooms. Neat ambience. Anything exceptional? Really not. But then how much time does one spend in a hotel in Bangkok?

I am staying at this place along with my son, and loving it to bits! Food quality and variety is excellent. Though I suggest they should add a separate counter for halal food items. Staff and service at the Executive Lounge is superb. Only downside is that bathroom floor is too slippery and they don't have a support bar or rod alongside the bathtub. Highly recommended

The stay at the hotel was very satisfactory.

Just one thing I would ask to hotel.
The hotel TV was new model(which have many function) but all the TV have same name in the net.
That's why I couldn't use the Screen Mirroring.

Except that everything was very nice.(Breakfast, pool, poolside bar, service, etc.)

The executive room is clean and compact....everything is there. Love the lounge services and cocktail bar always a great evening especially 5pm to 8pm hahaha!

Just a 5-minute walk from Terminal 21 mall and BTS station, location-wise this is hands down one of the best hotels in Bangkok.
Tastefully decorated lobby area has character; nice rooftop pool and bar with a view of the city; friendly staff who speak English.
Room was spacious and bed was comfortable; bathroom could've been nicer. My room on the 3rd floor didn't have a view though.
Would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

What a lovely hotel. The staff have been more than accommodating and they really go above and beyond the realms of duty. It’s beautiful, and the team have made everything so comfortable and they are friendly. I’d recommend to anyone who enjoys nice things and nice people.

Great stay. Beautiful rooms. Not that great food. Menu has very less to offer. At the heart of all the happening places on sukhumvit road.

The Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the concierge and activities desk team who were so supportive offering suggestions and information regarding the city, the malls, the main attractions and activities including the ideal mode of transport to get to these places.
This made our stay so much easier considering we were first time visitors to Bangkok.

It has a nice lobby. However very dark. The rooms are dark. The staff is helpful however not very quick and for instance ordered us a taxi without taxi-meter which incurred very high costs.

Very nice place, amazing location, high standards everywhere. Staff were very competent, and had a high range of languages covered between them.

Food standard for both in room and at the restaurants were really high quality and delicious. Prices were very fair. If you're looking at this hotel, don't hesitate to book. It's worth it.

The only minus I would say is that sometimes tuk tuk drivers that drive by the hotel blast loud music, and this could be disturbing if you're a light sleeper.

But this is a Bangkok problem, not the hotels problem.

We had a happy time to stay there. The staffs were really nice and friendly. Especially that one guy, who was standing in front of the building to open the door for guest since evening to late night, he was really polite, funny and helpful. We were about to tip him when we left but unfortunately we didn't see him on the way we checked out the hotel. But the reason I gave this hotel only 3 stars because on the way we left, there was a guy named Bin or Bim, well... He was really rude. We asked him to book a taxi for us to go to the airport, and he asked us how much it cost when we came to the hotel. We said 200 something, including the tollway fee. We couldn't remember exactly how much was it but it definitely under 300B. And we told him that we only saved 350B to go to the airport so please made sure that the taxi driver wouldn't charge more than that. Then he came to call the taxi and came back telling us that it would be charge 340B to the airport included the tollway fee. Well... We were a bit disappointed with the deal he made with the taxi driver lol (and at the end we gave a taxi driver 350B anyway.) but we still tipped him 20B he just took it, looked at it and said "ohh ok" didn't even say thank you :) excuse me?? And the way he talked to us were soo rude. The taxi driver was even more polite than this staff. But beside him, everyone was so nice and polite. Just that guy took 2 stars away from your hotel. Maybe the tip we gave to him not that much, but we could just not give him any. So he should have appreciated it instead of asking for more :)

Movenpick hotel is best especially for one visiting Bangkok for the first time. The hotel staff very cooperative.speak good English compared to other guys in the shopping malls.

The hotel is approx. 10minutes away from the next public transportation station which is great as the area around the hotel is very quiet. The roof top pool is great after a busy day in the city and the view is fantastic (especially when it is dark). Very good breakfast (shot of the day highly recommended) and also good dinner and cocktails. Swiss standards and mindset in the middle of Bangkok.

Very nice and cozy environment with cordial customer support. Their breakfast menu was versatile and taste. Room amenities was maintained with hygiene and necessity.

Room is not sound proof get noise from outside. Staffs are very kind and overall service are good enough. Normal buffet style breakfast provided. It is easy to go to asok BTS station with complimentary tucktuck service.

Location a little deep in the soi and in between 2 bts starions on soi 15 but a good hotel

Nice Hotel, with great staff. If you arrive on your own somehow hard to find and hidden in a small street. Breakfast was great, not the usual kind of greasy "continal breakfast", but good bread, boiled eggs and fresh fruit and vegetables. Most visitors seemd to be asian, so also typical asian breakfast choices, some of them made for you on demand.
Nice pool on the top, not very crowded.

"Seagulls Pick" is always a name with a good pedigree. All their hotels and specially Food Courts are well designed, managed and kept.

Excellent hotel with very courteous staff. Very cozy rooms with impeccably clean washrooms.
Only drawback is the hotel is located a little inside Soi 15 and away from Sukhumvit main road. About a 7-8 min walk. Luckily they have a complimentary shuttle service that drops you to Terminal 21 on the main road.

The hotel was fantastic! Right in the heart of Bangkok and near some malls. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I would say if you are staying in Bangkok for a week this would be a great place to be in and also very family friendly at the same time.

its was good stay, the room is nice, toilet is good, tok tok service was great idea & chocolate hour was lovely. but i didnt like many things such as: location, bad smell, small pool and breakfast is limited

Staff were very friendly, great location, great late night room service, the interior of the room was amazing.

If you ever preferred a glass wall between your bedroom and your bathroom their rooms are the perfect spot for you. Bathroom wasn´t very clean though. The overall experience of this hotel is way far beyond of what you expect from Mövenpick brand in Europe. Service sucks, not worth 5 star.
