Location is perfect with direct access to Plaza del Sol. Rooms are good with kitchenette option. Improvement should be the breakfast.

Buen lugar, comodo y bien ubicado. solo que los olores de cuando los demás huéspedes cocinan llegan a ser molestos.

Es un buen lugar, aunque el estacionamiento es muy pequeño, y por fuerza debes dejar la llave al ballet, y mueven y mueven tu carro!! Bien, el lugar es una torre, y aunque las suites son muy pequeñas, la verdad están muy bien organizadas y con todo lo necesario, eso que un departamento podría tener. El área de la alberca y la terraza es muy pequeña, consideró que debería tener más amenidades. No hay hielo ni agua en los pasillos por piso!!! En eso so deberían mejorar, es básico. El desayuno muy bien.. Se acaba algo y en seguida van sirviendo más! Puntito extra! Las estancias y sus sillones son excelentes Y muy cómodos.. Tiene area básica pars ejercitarse y lavandería .. Palomitas!!!! En general bien! Excelente lugar!

The breakfast menu is very boring and there is no availability of food rest of the day. Rooms are good but quality of material used is very cheap and you can feel it. Only thing good about hotel is that it has kitchenette but the utensils provided are in verya bad state. Pets are allowed this is one thing which might motivate or demotivate you to stay in hotel.

I can speak english and hardly understand spanish so this plce is good option in guadalajara as managers employees play little with english 👌... Manager can also talk in english and these are guys are quite coporative if they understand you. a really good thing ,Not much restrictions as i was here for a month i felt guadaljarra is very friendly , i suggest variety in breakfast atleast good english breakfast for both vegan and non vegan people. They have so many asian guests but breakfast is not that great here. Poor facilities in the bathroom , its high time to repair taps and keep working on good customer service

Staybridge Guadalajara Expo is a lovely hotel located in an easy to get to area of the city, directly next to the Plaza del Sol shopping mall, which offers everything you need during your stay.
The hotel itself is beautifully appointed, but the shining stars are the staff. They are attentive, responsive to any question or need, and professional. The rooms in the suites are comfortable. The kitchens are stocked, although there are sometimes less of what you need. A simple call to the desk will fix that very quickly. The only complaint I had was the packaged coffee is very weak; barely drinkable really. However, the coffee served in the breakfast area all day is delicious.
There is a nice fitness room, a lovely pool, a free laundry room, a library, and a business center. The washers fill very slowly, so give yourself a couple of hours if you do a load of clothes. The television has several stations in English with subtitles in Spanish, great way to hone your language skills!
The free breakfasts served each morning are really very good; better than we have had at most other hotels in Mexico. Our stay was 10 nights and the breakfasts were slightly different every morning, offering a little variety in tastes. As mentioned, the coffee is very good, and cafe olla is offered every morning as well.
If this is your first visit to the city, I would recommend catching the Tapatio Tour Bus, across the street from the Plaza del Sol, at the bus stop near the hotel, or cross the street to the Pemex/Oxxo station and catch it there. This is a hop-on/hop-off tour and will give you a good overview of the city. There is also a tour out to Tlequepaque and one to Zapopan. The city tour runs about $11 US and you pay when you get to the Centro Historico.
If you have a car on your trip, there is free parking with mandatory valet service. We tipped 20 pesos each time we took the car out. If you choose to do without, there is constant bus service to anywhere you want to go. Buses run about 6 pesos per ride.
There are several restaurants nearby; if you want good meat dishes that are genuinely Mexican, try the beef and juice place directly across from the hotel, K. Garabaldi. There is also Mr. Pampas, which we never did get to. About halfway around the traffic circle at M. Orteno and Mateos Lopez is Pipiola Carnes Asados, mouthwatering grilled meats of all types, with fabulous condiments. At the mall are Chili's, Vips, and Sanborns, for more familiar tastes.
I really can't say enough about how wonderful the staff and comfort level of this hotel are. We will definitely stay there anytime we go to Guad!
