This hotel was nice but very overpriced. The room was clean and comfortable. But for almost $200 dollars per night they could at least have a microwave in the rooms!! Also the ice machine was out of order and it wasn't that quiet.

Quiet. A good place to stay short term. Good for lovers getaway. The pool is very nice. There is a small fitness center.

Had to stay here when flight canceled and all hotels close to airport were full. It was a 30 min taxi away. Staff were friendly and helpful, even at 1am!

One of the better Marriot Courtyards. Think "straightforward" rather than "inspiring" and you're in the right ballpark. Reception staff are friendly but even brilliant smiles cannot brighten the orange and brown hues of the decor.

Alot of simple amenities missing from room. Some bonuses included such as crayons shoved behind the bed. So while I couldn't jot down readable notes I could at least finish up a page in my favorite coloring book.

Typical Marriott - clean, roomy, great staff. Reasonable rates for the room and amenities!

Room was clean and comfortable. Hospitality was outstanding. Restaurant was barely passable. But we don't stay at a Marriott for the food. You shouldn't either. Service was fine; quality and taste of the food was pretty bad. Bar wasn't so good either. I had to ask for a glass of ice with my bottle of pop. That's just not good business.

I had the opportunity to stay here for three nights. The accommodations were typical for a Courtyard. The check-in process was quick and smooth. My room was clean. The morning team at the Bistro were pleasant and helpful.

Standard Mariott in terms of decor. Layout. Next to a large Shop Rite complex and otjrt stores. A bit on the expensive side and a small pool fitness area. Suites kitchen is smaller than typical Courtyard and no complimentary breakfast like many other Courtyards. Clean enough. But no frills.

Pretty typical for this type if hotel. Staff was friendly. Not too many amenities that I've come to familiarize myself with over the years. The lounge is newer but the rooms are typical of a 5-10 year remodel. TV is about 40" but dated. Takes a year to change the channel. Lots of single travelers here so the King rooms fill up quick.

Clean, comfortable, quiet rooms: plenty of AC outlets; everything in the room and in the public spaces is well maintained. Super friendly and helpful front desk (Hi, Myra) and bar/restaurant staff. Best place to stay if your coming to the Oranges. Convenient access to basic shopping center next door and main roads and highways.

Decent place. The rooms are clean and the decor is up to date. The exterior of the building is in the middle of a renovation, but there is no noticeable noise from construction.

Very cozy and clean place. In my opinion the rooms are quite large for the price I booked at. Quiet with wifi and exercise rooms. The only downside is that breakfast is NOT free and pretty much on the expensive side. Starbucks prices to compare. Overall very nice and clean.

The rooms were beautiful and spacious. The beds were soft and clean. The heater worked just fine, albeit a little noisy. The showers were very relaxing. The hotel has everything one might want, except complimentary breakfast. I'm used to getting those with Hampton Inn so when I went downstairs to be told (quite rudely) that they don't serve complimentary breakfast, I was disappointed. Then even moreso at the outrageous prices at the cafe. Still, worthy of the 5 star rating.

Enjoyed my stay. One of the staff went above and beyond trying to find me a room as I needed to extend my stay and they were fully booked. Very good customer service even though I had to go to another hotel.

We stayed for a few days during a competition. The room was fine and the hell offering conference Rob's was excellent. Biggest complaint, and worth a star drop, is Courtyards new 'feature' of Starbucks bars. Having this means coffee is no longer free and, more importantly, only available at certain times of the day. There was also a constant line in the morning as the one staff person Manning the counter was getting people breakfast food and coffee. As we are competing, we often need to head out at 5am, and having to plan coffee for parents is difficult. Even for 8am times to leave, the line always added time to when we could leave. Besides that the hotel was fine. We did have the flair give out in our toilet the last night, but that is the only problem. It was nice having Panera within walking distance.

The rooms were very spacious and the beds we're very comfortable! I thoroughly enjoyed the Continental breakfast, best I have ever had, so many items to choose from, fresh and delicious food!
The staff was overly courteous and helpful, the pool area was also very pleasant!!! I was very happy with my stay!!!

Very nice stay. Courtyard is always a good budget hotel with an upscale lobby. The pillows here were a little hard compared to others. Overall very good.

Room was nice and pretty clean. The "bistro" left much to be desired, no breakfast included and over priced drinks. Front desk staff were nice, bistro staff were not

The hotel was pretty nice but suprisingly they did not have a small breakfast included. We did end up buying breakfast in the hotel cafe but the staff was not very friendly. I am going to assume maybe it was because it was 7 in the morning, but still. Overall the hotel in itself was nice can't really complain.

Stayed on second floor. Bed was very soft. Room was clean and meet my needs. The shower head was a little low. Staff was professional and nice. Free WiFi, but no free breakfast or drinks. Easy to get to.

Very nice suite, clean and spacious. A great place to unwind after spending time in the city. Spent 1 day in NYC and 4 nights attending a conference at Prudential Center in Newark. I was so glad I stayed outside of the city. The only drawback is the hotel is not near public transportation, so going into NYC or Newark you should really have a car to at least get to the train station. Plus, the Hotel offers Free parking.

No fast food around but the Bistro downstairs is good and a TGI Fridays is walking distance. K-Mart, Whole Foods, Panera Bread and a Movie theater conveniently located nearby shopping centers. Which made it easier to feel at home with familiar places around.

I had a meeting in the "Edison Room". The atmosphere when you walk in is very quaint and comfortable, even when it's empty. There's lots of places to sit, the design of the place is lovely, the path in the lobby winds a bit which I thought was a nice design. It's very close to several stores and a movie theatre as well, so, there's plenty to do. I'll definetly keep this place in mind for my next accomodatioins.

I am giving this 5 stars. The only imperfection was that the shower fixtures looked worn. Functioned perfect and water was great. Room was big space and perfectly clean. So was the lobby and gym.

Both at check and out, the staff were very nice and cordial.

The Bistro serves Starbucks. Very clean and kind servers. Even though it was a busy Sunday morning.

Room is spacious. Paul Mitchell toiletries are as nice touch. Fitness center a bit small and lacking more equipment.

I love staying at Courtyards. They are always clean, the service is friendly and helpful, the bed is comfortable and I love that checkout is at noon which allows me plenty of time in the morning after a late night. The Courtyard at West Orange is no different. The location is great being right off the highway.

Check in was very easy. Rooms were roomy and clean. Nicely decorated. Coffee and breakfast bar had a nice selection.

It's a great place to stay. The staff was very welcoming and helping too. Me and my husband were guest of the day so it was wonderful stay.

Near a complex with an AMC. Rooms are decent, the wall were however a little to fin for my taste, I could here people walking in the room above.

The internet speed, for it being free, is adequate. I am able to do my work, stream music, create my routes for google maps, and plan my daily routine at the same time. I was also able to connect 3 devices simultaneously.

This hotel has a nice environment. It was easy to sleep with no disruptions or distractions. The staff were great.

Nice hotel with clean, large rooms and bathrooms. Friendly staff. Decent location. Only one old, very slow elevator however. We walked further to take the stairs to the top floor instead of waiting for that thing.

Location great for walking to some nearby stores (shoprite, macy/sears outlet, panera, tgifridays, etc) but the walls are pretty thin and I don't think theyve changed my sheets for a week now... guess I should really ask them to.

Kindof nice, also Kindof bunk. It's a weird hotel. No smoking at all in the entire place, pretty lame. It's basically a senior citizen fest, and the concierge made me uncomfortable. I would probably not go there again.

The black lady that worked in the morning was especially nice when i satyed in october. Super personable. The dude the night befire was robotic and didn't want to talk but got the job done. Clean rooms...quiet. Hard to fimd at first but a really cool place

Front Desk Personnel were courteous as was the Bistro staff, but that is the only redeeming aspect of this hotel. For over $200 per night, I would think that management would ensure the semblance of a gym here didn't have most of the dumbbells missing or have only 1 in the pair. This is inexcusable for the rate. Further, while there are a few dining options next to the hotel, there is a reason their ratings are low (e.g. TGI Friday).

Update: Manage did reach out to me and provided assurance that the dumbbells would be replaced. It doesn't help me but will bump the review up 1 star since he is at least addressing the problem.

Price is high considering hotels 15 minutes away are cheaper. Placed us in a handicap room without prior knowledge and wouldn't change rooms for the same rate. Bathrooms don't have vents and you have to ask for directions for WiFi. The refrigerator aren't to cold. All tv channels didn't work
