Room was spacious but we found it very hot. There are five of us staying - 3 Kids under 10 and 2 adults. When we came home tonight around 7:30pm, the room was sitting at 72 degrees and it felt very stuffy. Our kids are having a hard time sleeping as it is hot. I’m typing this review as I sit outside our door with the door propped open in hopes of letting some of the cool air from the hotel go into our room.
It’s too bad because everything else has been great so far. Maybe the bathroom could be a little bigger. It’s hard to have more than one person in there.

Nice room. Bed is firm so good or bad depending on your preference. Room can get warm at night. Good breakfast available with free coffee. Bathrooms feel a bit cramped. Recent hotel experience though.

Almost everything was great. New interior design is great. Breakfast great. Swimming pool that is kids friendly, awesome. Just our room was humid throughout the night.

At 1 time I would if only given this hotel 3 to 3 and a 1/2 stars. However, having just stayed there, I was very, very impressed with the renovations that they have done. The breakfast area, the gym and everything else is amazing. We will definitely stay there again anytime we just want a night or 2 away from home, even though we live a relatively short distance away. This is the perfect last minute getaway place. An amazing happy hour, with servers who are really, really nice. When my husband and I ordered food from the restaurant, they brought it to our table in the happy hour section so we would not have to leave. That is what I call exceptional service as they did not have to do that. The complimentary breakfast in the morning is first rate and makes staying there even better.

Nice place for a couple nights on business. The hotel is currently undergoing a remodel. Once complete, this hotel will be very nice. Rooms are large and comfortable and quiet. Centrally located near plenty of restaurants.

The room was very nice! Very spacious! I definitely took advantage of the in suite refrigerator. The included breakfast was good!

Good spot. Great breakfast bar. Rooms are nice, clean and spacious. Easy access to shopping, restaurants, freeways and of course Santa Anita racetrack. The Great Race Place. Kitchen is currently under renovation, so lunch and dinner menus is limited but the staff is great and are eager to do whatever they can to make things right.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms are wonderful. Well worth the money. Allowed me to take shuttle to Pasadena Convention center. Thank you.

There is a nice open common area where the managers reception and breakfast is held. The breakfast has made to order omelet service and other typical breakfast items. The room was pretty nice. Comfortable bed, large TV. It had a mini fridge and microwave. A desk and chair to get some work done.The location is great, a lot a good restaurants within walking distance.

This hotel is a perfect example of good style and service. It's remodeled inside and has a very modern and welcoming lobby and courtyard. They have a pool and hot tub as well as business center and gym. The rooms are nice and spacious with great interiors as well. As far as service, they offer a very admirable breakfast with cooked to order omlettes and eggs as well as a hot buffet and other options. Their evening reception is a great way to score some complementary bevarages. I would stay here time and time again and would highly recommend for anyone in the area. Fair warning, it's a bit of a drive from LA especially in traffic, so this is a great hotel if you stay in Pasadena or east of LA.

I've stayed here several times during the past year to accompany my mother to her treatments at City of Hope. The staff at the front desk and in the reception/breakfast area are always very friendly and helpful. The rooms are always clean. No complaints. Highly recommended.

Very nice room, clean and comfortable. The breakfast starts at 6am and is the best breakfast I have ever had at a hotel.. Freshly made to order omelets, sausage, bacon and everything else you would expect. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I was here for a week and never had any problems.

Too good. Would definitely come here again. Rooms are big enough. Breakfast is awesome. Love the way they treat the customers.

Although the place was in the middle of renovations, the service all around made our stay very outstanding! Honorable mention to our bartender during happy hours! We will definitely stay here every time we're in the area. Can't wait to see it with the renovations done!

Sleep great finally. Was under renovation but great service and prompt. Food was excellent. Lots of noise outside where they check in, people just hanging out talking& laughing but even that didn't keep me awake. Was great over all... Staff was excellent

Enjoyed my stay here. They were still in the process of renovating, but they did a good job of maintaining a positive guest experience despite the disruption. The happy hour and included breakfast are nice perks.

Despite the renovations it was a lovely hotel. Spacious and nice rooms, complimentary breakfast (nothing to write home about, but the food was decent enough, no complaints), and the pool looked nice even though we couldn't get to it. Helpful staff, though check in took a while (again, because of renovations).

Spent a few days there. Very nice breakfast service. Snacks in the evenings. Good little indoor pool and spa. Not much in walking distance. Nifty little koi pond. Friendly staff. They were doing construction when we were there, only noisy during the day.

Good hotel overall, but there are some differences from other suites. The rooms are good sizes although there wasn't a mini stove and and full sized refrigerator. The made to order breakfast is good and is pretty quick in the morning. The happy hour each evening is great and comparable to other Embassy Suites.

We stayed 2 nights, the hotel is under renovation, so to use the pool we actually had to go through the outside of the hotel it was pretty cold at night, so it defeated having an indoor pool. The rooms are nice and roomy, bit thwy were cold! Tried shutting off the ac and it seemed to go on all night, tried calling the front desk no one answered. Couldn't get the heater to get going either. Other than that everything was good. Would stay there again.

Positive. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean, area around is full of restaurants and cafes. Free drinks in the evening and omelette made for order in the morning.
Negative. The doors are thin that you can hear all noise and lift going up and down at night. The heating/conditioning system didn't work. There were not enough tables so for breakfast we and many other people had to walk around and wait to sit at a table to eat. It is renovating process in the hotel now so if you want to have nap during the day, don't hope you will cause sound of drills or something like that is heard around. Not all lifts work due to this too.

I was disappointed that the central courtyard was closed off for construction. One of the fun aspects of Embassy is the big common area. As compensation, free breakfast buffet and happy hour drinks were offered in a long, impersonal hall. Of four elevators, one was only for construction workers & two opened into the sports bar. The suite was comfortable except its decor & that on the renovated floors oddly matched the construction theme. Hall carpeting design looked like distressed concrete. Faux marble, back lit bathroom mirror frame just looked dirty. I was also disappointed to learn the rate my company paid during the construction noise and inconvenience.

Wonderful service. Renovations were underway during our stay and will be completed early 2018. Our room was newly renovated and we loved the new decor. The atrium was completely closed during our stay, but the rest of the hotel was beautiful. -1 star for the minor inconvenience of the renovations during our stay, but will absolutely be a 5 once renovations are complete.

The property was being renovated during my three night stay. So, room prices were reasonable, availability was good, occupancy was light. Sometimes noisy during the day.

Great location with clean comfortable suites. Friendliness and excellent service from each staff member we encountered at the hotel. The indoor pool was a nice change for the kids. The chemical level seemed a bit high in the pool and hot tub, though. My eyes were burning and so we're my family's eyes. That might need to be re-calibrated. I look forward to seeing the rooms and the rest of the hotel upon completion. Despite the minor inconveniences of taking alternate routes to avoid construction areas, our stay was pleasant! We'll definitely return!

They were remodeling the lobby and breakfast area, i lucked out and got a remodeled room. Tubs were still old, but nice that everything else was new and clean. Very happy with Alex Martinez at the front desk. Anticipated the needs of our families vacation and took care of us.

This one of my favorite hotels. Especially from the embassy suites brand. However, this occasion was not great for me. There is a beautiful waterfalls and koi pond in the center courtyard. I was working on a project for a client and went to take pictures of the waterfall. When I got to the hotel, I found they were remodeling the courtyard and waterfall. I was able to get some pictures from the upper floors of the hotel, but it was not the beautiful scenery I was looking for. Sure, none of this should reflect poorly on the hotel, the staff, or the brand. I was just a little bummed that my idea didn't work out to plan.

Staff is very nice and accommodating. The time are also very clean and generally quiet at night. There was construction during my stay, so breakfast was moved to a meeting room, but that was the only inconvenience.

From what I experienced they're room are very nice clean and well stocked. Really appreciated the mini fridge. I have one thing that I can't rate, the only thing i cant judge is the building is being renovated.

We had a great stay here. It seemed to be a good value with the 2-room suites, free drinks and snacks, and free breakfast. The hotel itself also looked quite nice with a fountain in the main atrium. They were still renovating when we stayed, but I think we got one of the new rooms. We specifically chose this hotel because we were traveling with our toddler and we wanted the door between the main room and the bedroom. This worked quite well, but the only problem was that the bathroom was on the bedroom side of the separating door, so we couldn't use it while our kid was asleep.

My husband and I stayed last weekend due to a power outage where we live. We had a great time. We were first met by Alec who greeted us with a smile which I love. Our room was beautiful, clean, big and yes air conditioned. We had a wonderful lunch at the restaurant. The food was delicious. We had Sal as our waiter. He. Was so nice and attentive. We went down later to happy hour. We had a drink and yummy appetizers. We then sat in the restaurant and shared bacon wrapped shrimp, teriyaki wings, and the biggest wedge salad I have ever seen. Thank you Pedro for being our waiter. Full hot breakfast the next morning was so good and the best coffee to add. The atmosphere at this hotel is warm, inviting, peaceful and beautiful. We definitely will be back and highly recommend it to everyone.

Location, rooms, and service were great, but they were renovating and has 1 of the elevators disabled, so elevator wait time was longer

We attended a grad party/lunch at Embassy Suites Arcadia. The ambiance was so nice from the flowing stream and bridge to the beautiful high 50 ft ceiling. The buffet had variety and all the food was good. To top it off the servers were very helpful and let us play music and games with no weird looks. We will be back!

Happy hour is okay. They got snacks and cheap beer. The pool was just the right temperature too.

The Embassy Suite was an awesome place to stay. It was clean and everything was so convenient. The people were also very helpful and accommodating. I would definitely recommend staying here! :)

I'm currently in the middle of a two night stay here, and the property is in the middle of what appears to be pretty serious renovation. All told, this is a nice hotel. But it's definitely in need of the reno. Our room feels older than most Embassy Suites and definitely hasn't been shown any love since the 90s. However, it's a nice place. Breakfast was solid as always. :)

Clean, nice breakfast and happy hour. Safe location, professional staff. Because all the rooms face to the lobby it was very, very loud in my room and hard to fall asleep. The decor and furniture were very dated but looks like they are doing renovations.

I love this hotel so much! I stay here whenever I'm in the area. The staff is friendly and I love the rainforest theme. The breakfasts and cocktail hours are also great.

Very nice hotel. The only issue I found was the mattress was not as comfortable as the Marriott mattress, so I didn't rest as well and my back hurt when I first awoke. The water was not hot enough for a bath. Staff was very nice and helpful.

I stopped here because my trip to the hotel ended in the late afternoon and I wanted to have dinner in the in-building independent Italian restaurant. It's a real bonus in cold weather to just go eat and then take the elevator back to my room. Makes it possible to safely have a drink, too. The breakfast room/lobby is spacious..

We have stayed here on several occasions and always leave totally satisfied. The facility and it's location are top notch. Close to great restaurants and other amenities. The staff is great, The Derby is right next door!

It was nice and safe! Clean, good breakfest, gym was nice had good equipment, pool was nice and indoor with Jacuzzi. Everyone was nice too!

We ate there and the workers were extremely helpful and kind. We left them a good tip.

Expensive for what is actually delivered. Loud at night. Cigarette butts on the mini patio outside the room. Breakfast was weak compared to other embassy suites we have stayed at.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The rooms were big and the beds were really comfy! Free breakfast in the morning and drinks at night are fantastic and the staff was super friendly and remembered my name giving this hotel a great personal touch that I always love to findwhen I an traveling.

Reception staff were efficient but not very welcoming. Impressive reception area though! The room was ok, a little run down and dark though and could have been cleaner.
Breakfast was really good given that it's included and you get a choice between the buffet and cooked to order.
Apparently there's a happy hour but we never returned in time for this.
Handy for the tram to L.A. although that's another story!

Stayed overnight with some friends. Very laid back atmosphere, which is a good thing in my book. We needed transportation to and from the event we were attending, and the front desk arranged for the hotel shuttle to take us to and from the venue. Room was clean, fitness center was small, but fine for me, with three elíptical machines, three treadmills, dumbells and weighted balls. I did not go to the pool. Complimentary breakfast was great, with the usual omellette station, baked goods, warm buffet, drinks and coffee. Overall nice, easy stay.

The check in was awesome. Adrian and Antonina helped us alot and we're very helpful. Great staff overall and our stay so far is a pleasant one.

This hotel was really an amazing experience. We spent three days here and it has been better than most hotels that we have stayed at. The wifi was slow, and our room tv wasn't working, other than that everything else was amazing. The breakfast was amazing and had a lot of variety. The happy hours were also something we looked forward to and the bartender, Diane (Hawaii), was very helpful and nice. The rooms were clean. The pool and the hot tub were also very relaxing and neat. Would defiantly go again.

Attended an event in the Santa Anita room. The food service was amazing and delicious. I absolutely loved the oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. The event room felt a bit old fashioned as far as carpeting and furnishings but I heard they're remodeling. My favorite part of the hotel was the interior courtyard. They have an interior tropical style courtyard that was stunning and completely unexpected. The waterfall and koi provide this relaxing and peaceful atmosphere as soon as you walk past the reception desk. I would love to stay at a hotel like this in the future.
