I've reviewed this hotel on a previous stay. There have been some staying changes associated with a change in management. I'm going to miss Terry. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, but they were transparent to me. It still sucks that you can't turn left leaving the parking lot.

Overall, it was a decent enough stay, but some things were lacking, probably due to how booked they were. We had only one room option upon online check-in despite checking early in the morning up until our evening arrival. The room was comfortable, but smelled of smoke when you walked in. The room looked unusually wide open and marks on the wall made it appear that a desk and table had been removed. The bathroom was missing the towel rod and the toilet clogged after light use. The staff were quick to remedy the toilet and very friendly. Breakfast and the evening reception weren't stocked much in the final hour to 45 minutes despite high traffic of guests, so don't delay if you want to eat. Decent hotel, in a quiet setting. I'd stay again, but expect better next time.

This place is amazing, clean, quiet, comfy. You feel so at home. The beds are super comfortable even the pull out sofa bed. We stayed in a single bedroom suite with kitchen and it had everything, pots and pans, plates, cups, silverware, a small electric cooktop, giant microwave, dishwasher, and full size fridge. The people there we super nice and accommodating. The free breakfast was delicious, 6am to 9 am definitely more than I thought there would be and the pool was perfect for my kids. It went from 3ft to 5ft. Towels were always available. This was a great place to stay, we were not disappointed. I would recommend this place to anyone especially those with kids.

We stayed here while passing through town. The hotel is under renovation and we got a fabulous rate with points. If we would have paid cash, I would have been disappointed because our room was very out of date and felt quite old. Despite that, the staff was very friendly and we had, quite possibly, the kindest, most attentive host at dinner. He obviously took great pride in his work and it showed.

I absolutely love Homewood Suites. Wonderful chain everywhere I have stayed with them there was never a disappointment. Clean, spacious, and as close to home you can get away from home. Anything we needed from towels to batteries, they were prompt in helping. The beds were comfy, water was hot, rooms clean, and the breakfast was delicious! I

The suites had everything you could possibly desire in a simple setting. The room had a fridge for keeping food and drinks fresh, a microwave and a stove to cook food if desired, and a sink and dishwasher to clean up after! The "living area" had a nice cozy area with a small dining table with chairs as well. A TV was nestled near windows facing the pool with a pull out bed under the couch. The bed and rest area is able to be closed away behind doors allowing privacy on either side. Outside there is a heated pool that is open late. There are picnic tables and a grill you can cook and enjoy a meal outdoors if you felt so inclined. A very nice sitting area is indoors right beside the pool area where they serve breakfast. Coffee is available here at all hours.

Great place to stay for business! Nice amenities like a clean pool, gym, and room. The room had a perfect kitchenette. I've stayed many places that were in the same price range and this is by far the best. Giant suite, convenient location, and clean. Staff were excellent, very friendly. There's a great grocery store and several restaurants right next door. Could not have asked for a better value than this place, indubitably.

Service was really nice. I asked for a room with a better view and they offered me one. The breakfast in the morning is okay. The floor hallway I was on smelled like cigarette smoke but the rooms didn't. The interior is very old but the rooms very pretty clean.

Nice and clean. No problems when you need to get in your room a little early. The evening social staff is very attentive and polite. Really nice experience. My go to for Chesterfield.

Nice sized rooms, pleasant staff, and good continental breakfast. Especially appealing is the evening social that they put on with free wine, beer, and snacks. The location was convenient for my needs, good proximity to local restaurants and a grocery store right across the street.

One of the pathetic hospitality service in USA. Big blot on Hilton group of hotel. After checking with spouse and kids and upon unpacking my stuff, got noticed that toilet is not working. Reception staff told that they don't have provision to fix, therefore provided another room. I have really hard time packing and shifting to another room. After I unpack, I noticed that wash basin water system is clogged, therefore unable to use wash basin causing discomfort to me and family. Receptionist told me to change room again which is very annoying as I have pack the entire stuff again and move. At first place, hotel should check each of the the basic amenities and then allocate rooms to guests. I was told that by tomorrow only my problem will be considered for possible resolution.

If property management is reviewing the feedback, I would urge to look into the issue urgently as I booked for 14 days rather that stating a general statement that "we are regret for inconvenience caused and will look forward to meeting expectations".

Adding woes, WiFi service was also not working 😒

The rooms are a bit out of date, so don't expect a bunch of frills. But they are clean and very spacious. breakfast is great in terms of options (and free), and you can cook in the kitchen. Dinner is hit and miss, but there are a ton of great restaurants around. Plus free happy hour.

The only reason this place is getting two stars is because some of the staff were SO GREAT. But overall a terrible experience.
I really, really wanted to like this place. Having two rooms is so nice with three little kids. We encountered several problems:
At check in we had to wait 45 minutes for them to get our room ready even though.we had checked in online and told them what time we'd be there (which was after their listed check in time).
First night a faulty fire alarm went off at midnight which woke everyone up.
The rooms had several missing and broken items.
They have a schedule printed with breakfast and dinner time in each room. The times were WAY off which caused me and several people to miss meals.
When we got their on time staff refused to cook more food for the late comers who came 15 minutes BEFORE the actusl closing time.
The grass near the door to parking lots had dog poop which myself and my children stepped in. 🙈

However, the housekeeping staff and a member of food service named Terry were absolutely exceptional.

Cordial and eager staff. Suite was equipped & stocked well. Great shuttle service too.

Very nice amenities and very courteous staff. Breakfast would be ready by 6am in the morning and I don't take beef and the hotel staff was courteous enough to tell me everyday about the meat if its beef or not.

Very nice! Staff was nice, the room was nice, loved the manager reception. Only complaint is no hot tub, and the pool is an outdoor pool, so it was closed this time of the year

If it weren't for the staff this property would have received 1 star. The staff were absolutely wonderful. This property is in need of a major renovation.

Room was fine and staff were great. Breakfast the first morning wasn't too great. Everything seemed overcooked and dried out. But the next morning breakfast was fine so maybe it was just a fluke. Overall the stay was quiet and perfect for what we were looking for.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and tidy. Location is great too, not far from afew restaurants. The free shuttle bus also takes you to shopping centres and attractions that are close by. Highly recommended

Our family stays here every summer. We have 5 kids so the separate bedrooms and kitchen really ideal for our big family vacations. Breakfast and dinner buffet is very convenient. Staff is always wonderful.

Decent room, clean, excellent hardworking friendly staff that tried their best to prioritize the customer. Sad I woke up too late for breakfast. Quiet. Absolutely no issues. Definitely would stay there again.

Homewood suites Chesterfield is a very comfortable place to stay They have free breakfasts every day and most nights they have dinner. Every day there is a cleaning service if wanted which I probably like l more than I should. I enjoy that we aren't so far from the Chesterfield library and there's a grocery store around the corner. The rooms seems set up for a couple preferably but with a pull out couch if you have kids.

I transferred over to this hotel because the airport hotel I stayed was very dissatisfactory. The stay was good, but it wasn't my favorite. I was happy that the staff greeted me with smiles. I enjoyed the breakfast as it was fresh. Overall I would recommend this place for someone traveling through.

Nice. Good breakfast (included, free) was a great was to start out our day. The late checkout time allowed us plenty of time to enjoy the heated outdoor pool.

We stayed at this hotel two weeks ago.

Carpets were dirty throughout the hotel--especially in our room. It was filthy. This was the worst part of your stay, since we have young kids who got dirty from the carpeting. Oh, and we found the fingernail of a previous guest. A few ants around the sink, but afraid to complain, since reading other posts about bug spraying, we didn't want them to spray the room.

Room service didn't happen regularly (there were days when they didn't show up at all), but we did have a dog and were instructed to use the Do Not Disturb card on our door, but when we had left and the card was not on the door, the maid didn't come in. This happened at least twice. When the maid did manage to come during our stay, she used an old broken down vacuum that stirred up the dust and made hardly no progress toward deep cleaning.

Staff was friendly. Every single employee I passed during the visit vocally acknowledged me. There was one problem where the employee at the front desk told me to contact the maintenance person directly, and another when the friendly and patronizing maintenance guy showed up with the entire backside of his black underwear hanging out? This guy must have been at least 30 years old.

The food was pretty good with fresh hot cereal at complimentary breakfast, hot soup and fresh salad for dinner. Free beer and wine, but we won't be staying again.

Every Homewood looks and feels the same way. The breakfast is more than adequate. The pool and other facilities are very good. The front desk staff is very friendly and accommodating.

My family has stayed here several times and it has been pleasant every time.
The staff is great -- friendly, helpful, and accommodating.
Morning breakfast is complimentary and there is even an evening social time with complimentary wine and beer.
The rooms are very large with a full kitchen and separate living space.
This has become our go-to place when visiting family in the area.

Very nice updated hotel. The room was very clean and well designed. The staff was friendly. The location was great.

This hotel is at a great location. The rooms have kitchens and their is a grocery store right across the street to stock up on. There's also restaurants within walking distance. The evening social is made all the greater by the employees. They go out of their way to take care of you. My only complaint is that you can't turn left leaving the parking lot, which makes for a longer commute if you need to.

Found this place while travelling through. Great area with shopping and restaurants close by. Wife loves the extended stay/larger style rooms.

Accommodating staff, allowing us to check in early. Rooms were neat and clean, and the hotel is close proximity to resteraunts and outlets.

Solid hotel but nothing special, its good if you are in town on business. I stayed in a decent sized 1 bed 2 room suite with a kitchenette. The bath room and other appointments are a little dated but clean.

After driving 2 hours on icy roads finally get to the hotel. Wasn't expecting much but I walked into my room and it was like I just walked into my house. Very beautiful rooms bed is very comfortable, don't hear traffic noise, staff Is very friendly and the breakfast in the morning was also great. Over all a great experience and will definitely be staying here again.

Our stay was amazing, we stayed for my husbands birthday as a way to have a night without the kids and instead of going to an expensive restaurant we were able to make our own dinner in the hotel room using their kitchen and then watched a movie and had a few drinks on the couch in their living area. The bed was great it was super comfortable and the hotel was very clean, i would definantly recommend this hotel to anyone especially someone that is staying for more than one night. It really did feel like a home away from home.

The service at this hotel is excellent. Everybody is friendly and helpful. The hotel is nice. But the door to my bedroom/living room in the suite didn't close all the way, one of the closet maid shelves in the closet had a broken support, so it didn't hold level. The room was smaller than I expected it to be, based on other Homewood Suites in other cities. This Homewood is definitely older than any other I've stayed at. The front entrance doors don't automatically open, either, which was a minor inconvenience.

I was not staying there, but visiting my in-laws who were. I ended up taking the long way to their room because the first sign I saw mentioned that their room number was that direction, instead of not having it listed at all (I could have gone down the other hallway).

From what I could tell of the room, it was very nice. A small kitchenette if they wanted to cook and a door separating the bedroom from the main room. Everything was in good condition and my in-laws said that the food was pretty good. They were also watching my 2-year-old daughter overnight and said that everyone that had seen them in the hotel had been very nice to her.

My stay was remarkable. The staff at this hotel was always smiling and friendly. I mean they are genuinely friendly and so professional. I might say they are in love with their guests.

Bed was comfortable, room was spacious. Loved the full size refrigerator. The pool was big enough for several groups of kids. Breakfast was good and the staff was super friendly.

Amazing customer service from the staff. The young ladies at the front desk did everything in their power to ensure complete satisfaction. Our rooms were clean and even with the full occupancy, the breakfast was continually being replaced. Great stay overall!

The hotel rooms are fine, the tv's in the room are great and there is a nice kitchen in the room with a full size fridge. However, the hotel has smoking rooms so walking through the halls smell like walking through a bar. I love Homewood suites, and the staff is always great, but the smell is terrible. The breakfast was ok, but nothing special.

5 stars for value. Great price for room size, breakfast and location.
