Great accommodation and served my families needs. The area was quite with several closed down businesses in the surrounding area, but it didn't take away from our experience. We found ourselves within driving distance of everything we were interested in getting involved with. Appreciate the effort put in play by the business to meet the needs of its customers while this Pandemic affects our nation.

Nice place to stay. Rooms are clean. Staff is nice. Good breakfast and free coffee all day. Not too far from the beach. Good rates. We frequently stay here when visiting family.

This hotel is a great hotel to spend the time alone or with the family. They also accept family pets. The rooms are very clean, the bed is very cozy. In the afternoon, they offer happy hour from 5 til 7pm, with a light dinner. The staff is very nice and help make your staying very enjoyable. The view from the pool is awesome. Don't forget about the free morning breakfast. I will definitely stay here again next time I am in town. 5 thumbs up all the way!

I have stayed here a couple of times for long weekends. Consistently great service. Housekeeping staff are wonderful and everyone is friendly and helpful. My room has always be clean. Traveling alone, I felt very comfortable and safe at this hotel. Breakfast is plentiful with bagels, fruit, cereals, yogurt, eggs, sausage, waffles, ostmeal..something for everyone ..workout room is equipped fairly well with treadmill, elliptical, bike and free weights. Pool is good size and hotel grounds are well maintained. I love a suite hotel and will stay there again.

We stayed here recently and I must say I was pleasantly surprised! This is a VERY family friendly hotel! If you have issue with being around small children, this is not the hotel for you. We were a party of 8 (4 adults; 4 children) in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite. When we first exited the freeway the area looked a little sketchy, so I was not really feeling good about going to the hotel. The surrounding buildings looked like the businesses there had all gone out of business, so that didn't give me a good feeling, but once we pulled into the parking lot and actually went into the hotel, I was definitely impressed. It turned out to be a pretty decent hotel. It was very clean, the staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Our room was far from the elevator and when we requested a suite closer to the elevator, it was handled courteously and quickly. Also, the complimentary breakfast and evening socials were an added bonus. The breakfast itself was just okay. I left the eggs alone because they looked less than appetizing, but each morning during our stay, I would have a muffin, grits, yogurt and/or fruit. Our kids had waffles and/or cereal. There's definitely something for the whole family to munch on, but please be advised that it will NOT be the best breakfast you've had in your life, but at least you can feed the entire family without having to leave the hotel and spend money which is an added bonus for any family on a budget. As for the evening social, we went one night and I didn't really care for it. They did have complimentary wine and beer, but it was cheap wine and there was a gentleman there from the hotel who had to pour it out for you, which made me feel weird. Like I couldn't be trusted to pour my own drink. It was just weird. The laundry room facilities are also complimentary which was nice. We were able to do laundry before we left which means we were able to unpack clean clothes when we arrived home. As I said in the beginning, a downside is definitely the surrounding area and lack of views. The hotel is approximately 10 minutes from the beach, so please do not expect any nice views. Our suite overlooked the side parking lot and adjacent to the parking lot was a view of a rundown business/parking lot. Having said all that, the overall stay was actually very good! The kids really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the basketball court adjacent to the pool area which made the hotel a 10 for him! And the staff was so nice that I overlooked the crappy view. Overall, I would recommend this hotel! We had a wonderful time in Myrtle Beach and our stay at the hotel was much nicer than I expected. A must for the family vacationing on a budget!

Recently updated decor. Very, very nice and roomy rooms. The two bedroom suites are lovely. Comfortable beds, only downside was their was a very loud heating /air unit located in one of the rooms/(2 bedroom suite). Complimentary Breakfast every morning was varied and quite delicious and convenient. Great staff and grounds.

Room was great. It was our first stay. We were going to meet my grandparents who have a condo. We chose to try a place on our own. I'm guessing a large group came together at least 20 ppl. About 15 preteens left semi unattended while the adults cooked at the grill. Once food was cooked kids sat around with feet in pool while they ate!!!! Food was all in the pool the handicap equipment was being used as a jungle gym. I made an attempt to tell the lady at the front desk who did nothing. We left and decided not to stay any longer and just stayed with my grandparents.

Nice room, nice pool, great breakfast. Laundry facility on site made it very nice we didn't have to haul dirty clothes. Very clean and updated. They had a place to grill, basketball court overlooking a pond. Hot tub, super friendly environment, my kids made a new friend every time they went to the pool and got to see old ones from the day before.
Hallway and elevator temps were hot. Beds were very comfortable in the rooms. They could update the mattress for the pull out sofa, it's still a spring not so comfortable mattress. Kitchen fully equipped, if my wife wanted to cook she could have.
They also had a pantry for soap pods, sunscreen, and other toiletries and snacks.

We had a great stay. The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. It was also right around the corner from everything we wanted to do. I would recommend this hotel.

My husband and I have stayed here a few times. Staff is friendly.....rooms clean n comfy. Breakfast is really a nice plus!located just right for easy access without all the buzz of the beach. Nice pool too! Pet friendly as well. I'd recommend.

My family and I, including my furry baby, enjoyed our stay. Friendly and nice staff all the way around. Phenomenal customer service. Even though pets are allowed it smelled great nice and clean. I didn't want to leave. We will definitely stay here every time we visit. I recommend Staybridge to everyone with or without pets. More stars are needed for sure.

Just about everything about the hotel was great. The gym needs an olympic bar and some weight plates though. A cable machine would be awesome too. The dumbbells go up to 50, which for a hotel is better than most.

Very clean hotel, great staff. Melanie helped my husband very much in a important assignment, we appreciate her very much. Breakfast was so crowded we could not find a place to sit, should provide more food options and don't show Fox news on TV.

Great place for extended stays. Our room was extremely spacious and very comfortable. The kitchenette was very nice and allows to save some money in cooking in as well as the few dishes they leave for you. Will return I'm the future.

I would have left a 5 star if I wouldn't have found a woman's pleasure device under the bed that was about the size of a Andaconda. If housekeeping would have looked under that bed, 5 stars all the way!

Nice place. About 2 miles from the Grand Stand so you can get away from the hustle and bustle. And its within walking distance to the Boathhouse bar and grill.

This is a nice place to stay. I was pleasantly surprised. Full fridge and microwave. Breakfast included. Social hour with wine and soup (on a cold night) with a nice fire going in the fireplace. There's an outdoor pool in the courtyard and an indoor fitness center.

We booked the 2 bedroom suite and it was phenomenal! It’s was basically a little apartment and we felt more value for our money than most other hotels who charge the same for just a standard room! The customer service at the front desk was exceptional as well! We LOVED our stay and will most definitely recommend and be coming back! My husband plays in lots of softball tournaments that take us to many different places and this was by far our favorite! We were thoroughly impressed with our rooms and the quality we received during our stay!

A beautiful hotel. The rooms were great! Breakfast bar was lovely. My only complaint was that they had the heat turned up way too warm when we got there.

Really nice! We had a 2 bedroom 2 bath suite, one king and one queen....fully equipped kitchen. Beds were very comfy and everything was spotless. I highly recommend....and convenient to restaurants and shopping.

Just checked in. They let me check in 4 hours early, the lady at the front desk was awesome. I checked in on September 15 it was around noon. She was awesome. The room was amazing.

This Hotel was the Best Experience our Family ever had out of going to Myrtle Beach for over 45 years. Regardless of the Closed Down Old Fantasy Harbor, and the old Waccamaw Pottery this is the Best Hidden secret in Myrtle Beach, Great Food, Staff, which were all VERY HELPFUL in EVERY WAY. From the front Desk to the Room Attendants, to the Grounds Keeper's, OUTSTANDING PLACE to stay short or Long Stay. Very, VERY CLEAN room's and dinning area's. Of being a Native Born of Horry County, this is the Best Place I have had the chance to stay at and there isn't many place's or People that I haven't had the chance to stay and meet. This place I would rate as a A+

The suite was roomy and the kitchen area just enough. Housekeeping did not clean the bathtubs in my suite. I had to ask the front desk to send someone to clean and ask the front desk to make a note for housekeeping to clean the bathtubs each day????

The rooms are very clean and the beds are super comfy! They have a great complementary breakfast bar! The staff is very friendly as well! Overall a great experience! My only complaint would be the pool and outdoor area should be open longer than 10:00pm.

Staff is very friendly and the facility is very clean. The Breakfast selection is good and the food is hot. A bit far from the beach, about a 10 to 15 min ride as well as all most of the attractions. Overall we were happy.

I am staying here at the hotel as we speak and so far all the reviews that gave a thumbs up, did not lie. The staff is really nice and the facility is clean. The pictures didn't lie. It is in a desolate area because business are closed but, overall this was a very nice place to stay. Pool, a place to grill, a nice fire pit to sit at on the patio, basketball rim for the kids, and they also have cocktail hour for free.
I would add the food was okay. It gets a little congested the first part of the morning so sleep in til around 830ish.
Walmart around the corner. Ocean Blvd where the beach is maybe around 10 minutes away.
Now if I was to have a negative it would be that the hotel spruced up the elevator by painting and cleaning the floor but even it wasn't that bad. Also, it is pet friendly. What I don't like about this is that people aloud their dogs to use the bathroom anywhere and although I did not see evidence of dog poop, they still are urinating everywhere and were in the pool area.

This is a very nice hotel. I was a little skeptical of the location being near some empty/abandoned malls and buildings, but this hotel is it's own slice of paradise. Our room was a nice suite with a full kitchen and living room. It was very spacious and clean. The breakfast was great with lots to choose from and it was very well kept up. Outside, the pool and hot tub area seemed very well kept and clean as well, and included a basketball court and an outdoor grilling / seating area. It ended up being nice to be a short drive away from the hustle and bustle of ocean avenue. It felt very private here.

Rooms are nice but not as spacious than same hotel in Charlotte location. But it has 2 bedroom suite which other hotels doesn't have. Breakfast is good and tasty. Has Pancake maker as well which is automatic. Due to the rush on 4th July or not, I m not sure but room were not that clean when we checked in. Otherwise location wise it's good as well. But it's not oceanfront. But beach is around 10-15 mins in local traffic, which is nearby I must say.

Room looks like the photos. Staff very friendly. They allow pets so dont be set off because of irresponsible pet owners. Its not Staybridges fault. Basketball and pool. Bad thing about basketball one bad shot and the balls in the lake..not my shots.. so shoot toward the hotel.

Cleanest place I've stayed in a very long time. Beautiful area to relax with pool basketball court, grill areas etc. Staff is super nice and very helpful.

We have a long history of staying at Holiday Inn's and Holiday Inn Express. There was confusion in a reservation made for Holiday Inn Surfside who suggested Staybridge. We will be looking forward to our next stay at Staybridge 😁

1 BR suite has all the amenities and included breakfast is great. Located inland however is a slight negative although there is very easy on/off the 501. 5 minutes from World Tour Golf Links helps.

It's very close to Medieval times and a great locals hangout called the Boathouse. The hotel itself has a great free breakfast and wonderful ambience with a lounging area downstairs complete with a nice fireplace. Very relaxing and very safe area!

Rented the two bedroom suite. Price per night is pretty good and distance from main attractions isn't too far. Free breakfast and service is good.

This hotel was decent. Had a few nice touches. I'd go back again as I like the amenities which aren't over the top. The location is somewhat below standards though it is quiet just a 5 minute drive to conventional stores and shopping. It is a bit on the pricey side though that seems to be the going theme in Myrtle Beach.

I never want to leave. Awesome free amenities.. amazing staff.. extremely clean rooms and a classy, safe environment. The free buffet has a larger selection than most, not to mention that there's also a free laundry room located next to the gym!! Fairly close drive to the ocean.. yet quant and peaceful. Highly recommended!!!!

I checked in on August 21, 2015, and it was a very unpleasant event. The Holiday Inn Club Vacation made my reservation, I had to change my check in day so I phone Staybridge Suites and Holiday Inn; however, upon check in my room was giving away. I was told that they did not have any rooms available by two associate at Staybridge. It took me till 8pm to get my room. Holiday Vacation Club had to call to get me a room. I don't know why the associate lied to me and told me that they were booked. I was very unpleased with the ordeal.

Breakfast was good rooms are very spacious & big , however the bathroom was not very clean there was a slowing in the draining out of the water while I was in the shower.

Held a mini family reunion (~40 ppl). Excellent accommodations!!! Excellent staff. Outstanding breakfast. Wonderful conference room. At first glance, we were concerned with the abandoned mall and amusement park. But the advantage seems to be that road noise is practically eliminated. :-) Oh, and did I mention the staff?!? In addition to the kitchens in the room we had access to the gas grills outdoors by the pool. Also has a courtesy laundry facility (just plan when you wash; waiting until last minute may run into many others with the same plan). The social event, Tue-Thurs 4:30-7:30 (beer, wine, soft drinks, hors d'oeuvres) was a very nice touch. We will be back!
