The rooms also stank like cigarette smoke unless you turned the A/C up real high. The gym was teeny tiny, almost unusable, and dirty.

HANDS DOWN, THE BEST HOTEL EXPERIENCE BECAUSE OF THE STAFF!
I was here for three weeks in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey for work to help assist. The staff here was unbelievable. The morning staff was friendly offering to change something on a food item, or asking how my day was shaping up. I never saw a none smiling face during my entire stay! If I could replicate this staff at every hotel i stayed at i would in a heartbeat. The night staff was always accommodating when I seemed to daily misplace my room key and were always asking if there was anything they could do to make my stay more pleasurable. Salute to the staff. The manager was also not afraid to get dirty as there was a time when my A/C unit was dripping water. He was at my door with a shop vac and ready to get in there. Best.Stay.Ever.

I stayed at the hotel for a single overnight while in Houston for business. Overall I would put this location in the lower third of the Homewood's I've stayed in. I did get a nice upgraded 2 room suite, but from checking to the evening reception to check out it felt like the employees and management were phoning it in. At check in, I felt I was interrupting them because there were 3 sitting in the lounge eating and the one that checked me in acted put out about having to get up. At the evening reception there was less offered than I've seen at other locations. It was Asian food night which here meant one stir fry and some rice. At other locations it would also include egg rolls and probably another entree choice. There was the standard very limited salad offering and one option each of beer, red wine, and white wine. Unfortunately, when the bottle of wine was emptied, I never saw it replaced and didn't see staff around to ask. Also with about 15 minutes left, there were no more glasses available and no one around to ask. I did sleep well and the room was reasonably quiet and comfortable. Even with the issues, I would consider staying here again.

The rooms are homey feeling and comfortable. I love that the bedroom has a ceiling fan. Most hotels don't have fans. The breakfast isn't great - it's comparable to a Hampton inn Continental breakfast. But it's not on par with a Hilton garden inn or nicer place. Good value for the price

It's a nice hotel if not a bit old. The breakfast is pretty good although I don't know why they don't serve oatmeal here which is a bit odd. There's a pool and a hot tub, and it's close to the mall. One of the few hotels I've seen with a ceiling fan in the bedroom.

Nice big clean rooms. You have several restaurants within a few steps. Right next to the hotel is Macoroni Grill, Chili's, BJS Brewhouse and more in the mall 100 yards away. Stay here and don't fight traffic when you come in after your busy day! Perfect for beating Houston stress

The Latino cleaning staff were so personable, wonderful and helpful. I felt at "home." We enjoyed the close proximity of the shopping center and selection of stores. We would love for breakfast to improve with more variety so not as to leave the hotel. The front desk staff were super helpful and professional.

It is an excellent hotel. The rooms are very confortable. All The people who works there are nice people and they always have a smile. The food is good, The pool is good, The location is good.

They have free beer for residents on Monday until Thursday, the rooms are nice, and the gym is pretty decent.

I stayed in a single room suite for the week while working in the area. My room was clean and comfortable. Location of this hotel is walking distance to the mall. This hotel has an indoor pool if you desire to swim and not get sunburned during the day. The staff are always friendly at the front desk, during breakfast and during the evening happy hour.

The hotel was easy to access. The room was one of the best I've stayed in. The workers were very polite. The pool and hot tub were very enjoyable. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. I would recommend staying here to anyone.

Staff was very nice and professional. Nice rooms and comfortable beds. My children had a fun time in the indoor pool area. Breakfast was great and dinner is served throughout the week days. Also a walk away from the mall. Great all around hotel.

It's okay sort of. But it's very far from the main city or Downtown Houston. The Willowbrook Mall is just right across the road and the neighborhood conists TGIF, Baker Street Pub n Grill, BJ's, Chilli's, Best Buy, Marshall's, Sam's Club, Ross Dress for Less, DSW and so on so you won't be bored. One has ample place to go fro shopping and partying. The staff is very helpful, but the housekeeping staff are very negligent. They didn't use to vacuum clean the carpet of the room everyday. Very difficult to use the washing machine, the dinner and breakfast was mundane, no variance in it.

WOW !!!! This place was amazing. I stayed there so i could meet my birth mom and family for the first time. They allowed us to use the eating area where you have breakfast for a buffet style dinner. We all met there is was so great. The kids swam in the pool while we all visited. Very clean rooms, services was wonderful. I would and will stay there again when I go back for a visit.
