We are in a first floor room right next the the outside door which slams. The folks on the second floor stomp around and you can hear them loud and clear. Overall the room is nice, spacious and clean. I would stay here again, but I would get a better room location... Prob top floor near the middle not by doors or stairwells.

This is an excellent hotel. I've stayed at this hotel on 2 different occasions and it's my favorite, by far. I stay at hotels (primarily Hilton properties) across the country. I enjoy the campus layout, and their hospitality and personalized service is excellent. I look forward to staying at this property when I visit the WP Museum.

We stayed in a very comfy suite, there was a full bathroom, kitchen, a TV room with a pullout couch, and a bedroom with two double beds. Price was very reasonable. There was a nice outdoor pool as well as a basketball court. Breakfast was delicious, anything you might ever want, including a waffle bar. Lots of neat places to go very close to the Hotel.

Great hotel staff and the rooms were comfortable but a little faded and dated. We appreciated the use of the laundry on site and it wasn't that expensive to run a few loads through. The pool was handy on the hot days. Breakfast menu was diverse and the breakfast room was more than ample for the large numbers that moved through each day. We stayed a week and we were really comfortable there. The only downside came in the form of two small birds that became trapped in the fireplace (fell down the chimney presumably). It took a couple of calls to maintenance, housekeeping and in the end we resorted to prying the grate open ourselves so they could escape into our room and out the door.

A totally amazing family and pet friendly place to stay. Amazing staff, clean rooms, awesome and meals. Management and maintenance are always on top of any issue that may arise. Totally impressed with Homewood Suites near WPAFB.

Great hotel with beautiful rooms and friendly service. Having a full kitchen is super useful when staying more than a few nights. They have a social on Monday-Thursday nights with a light dinner and free wine and beer. We had no issues on our stay, and everything was clean. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in the area.

Stayed here with my 2 kid's they had a blast with the pool and basketball court. Rooms are nice breakfast was hot and delicious. The staff seemed very friendly and made you feel welcome. will stay again in the future

Great place had a sleepover here nice staff um only had 1 problem these teens wanted to make fun of my friend's sister (which she really isnt that skinny but still) so we just told my friend complained about it to the desk lady and she handled it right there

We stayed recently at this location and Kevin, the Guest Services Manager, was incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating to our large group of soccer players and families. We enjoyed a wonderful team dinner and social Saturday night that he helped us with and was a great host! Beautiful large lobby, outside courtyard, and convenient location with freeway, mall, and restaurants nearby. All staff was friendly. Room accommodations were perfect.

Staff was helpful and friendly, breakfast in the morning was hot and slightly different each day. Great location for Nutter Center Event, only recommendation would be to add a covered walkway between buildings for rainy weather.

We stayed in a suite with a king bed. The room was very nice and clean. There were two separate areas: a living area and a sleeping area. The living area had a small table with chairs, a small kitchen with full sized fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and half sized stove. There were necessary dishes in the cabinets. There was also a pull out couch, chair, and tv. The bed room had the bed, another tv, and bathroom areas. The included breakfast was very good. It had many options, both hot and cold. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It would be a really nice hotel to stay at for an extended work trip.

Unbelievable How great the staff of this hotel. We brought a huge group in
the Manager Kevin along with Derrik and a young lady whose I didn't get stayed off the clock not only in the evening but the next morning to make sure breakfast went smooth. Every employee went above and beyond to make sure our group was fed and taken care of. It was a customer service Masterpiece !!!

The accommodations themselves are pretty standard. The room was clean, though one of the knives was covered in old hard food. The bed is extremely hard, though I don't mind it personally. The gym is a joke (an elliptical, a treadmill, a stairmaster, and a couple weighted medicine balls). The staff is extremely friendly, the location is perfect, and they serve a solid breakfast daily. On Mon-Thur, they also have a complementary evening meal. All told, it is well worth the price for the area.

In-laws stayed here. Very nice very clean. Strange they run hot water thru both cold and hot water faucets to keep the pipes from freezing. Your butt gets a steaming on the toilet.

All the staff were like family during my 4 week stay. The service was wonderful. The meals seemed to hit the spot. Such a friendly atmosphere created friendships among guests who were once strangers.

Nice hotel. I love the Homewood Suites chain of Hilton hotels. Complimentary breakfast and evening social. Nice roomy suites. This hotel is clean and comfortable. Not a super modern design/decor, but not too outdated either. Great staff and service throughout a 10 night stay.

I found this hotel to meet my sister's very high standard of cleanliness. The food on the breakfast bar that was supposed to be hot was hot, and the cold items were cold. In case you didn't like the breakfast bar you could either buy food and keep/cook it in your room or go to any of the many restraints around you

Loved our visit here. Breakfast is great with lots of variety and changes up daily. Monday - Thursday evening dinner is a nice feature as well. All staff, from front desk, to breakfast area attendants, to maintenance crew, has been very friendly and are quick to make sure you are enjoying your stay. Also, very accommodating of our service dog. We never once felt unwelcomed.

Overall rooms were nice and what you would expect at a Homewood Suites, however this particular Homewood suites is dated and not being maintained. The only thing they really have to offer is free beer... But if I wasn't mistaken it seems like they open this up to the local community. Or maybe the local community just decided to help themselves. If you are looking for a nice hotel in the area stay at the Marriott.

Legit complaints:

1) Gym - falsely avertised on website as having free weights. See pictures
2.) Wifi - HH member and very poor quality, slow, constantly kicks devices off
3.) Room Noise - I can easily hear others in the rooms above me. Sounds like a family of elephants we're staying here. I was constantly woken up at night from hotel noise.
4.) Room Temperature - thermostat doesn't seem to regulate the room temperature. It just does what it wants fluctuations from 68 to 76
5.) House Keeping - some were great! Others terrible job. Forgot to refill toilet paper, coffee, towels.

Good hotel very close to Wright Patterson AFB. I enjoyed the breakfast, although the evening meal didn't really work for me as a vegetarian. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel in a good location. The rooms are spacious and the evening happy hour includes heavy appetizers, beer & wine for free! I'll be looking to stay here next time I'm in town.

Rooms were large and comfortable, but the hotel feels a little dated. There were minor defects to my room, such as the smoke alarm being detached from the wall. Front desk staff really stood out though - they were very well organized for the wedding party I was part of and remembered the name of my additional guest, who was arriving late and would need a key.

Great! Friendly! Accommodating! Located near tons of retailers and recreational facilities. Suite keepers are prompt and professional. Complimentary breakfast bar and dinner during business days including domestic beer and assorted wines (only during dinner) I loved it and the price is nearly incomparable!

Staff is great. Kevin is very good and took care of me. The dinner reception is great. Food was really good and the Blue moon on tap was perfect. Only complaint is 2 of the treadmills are broken and there are no free weights.

Was somewhat disappointed with the place. The first front desk clerk we had was friendly, helpful, and intelligent, even giving us a discount coupon for a local restaurant because our room wasn't ready, yet. So, we went to dinner, but when we returned, the manager was behind the desk. He was far less everything than the first person. Room still wasn't ready, so we waited in the car. When the room was finally ready, it was a cramped, confined little thing. Very oppressive. When it was time to leave, we were charged a higher price than we were quoted, despite not getting extras. All in all, not the best stay, but I HAVE had worse, too.

One of the nicer chain hotels I've stayed at. The rooms are spacious with a full living room and kitchenette. The main lobby has a nice patio and basketball court as well as a well stocked happy hour every night

Hotel seemed really nice, but our room was quite rundown. Housekeeping could be a lot better. The floor wasn't clean and the bedding for the sleeper sofa was dirty. They made it right, however, so 3 stars. Location was convenient and there was ample parking.

Me and my wife were in Dayton for a 3 day Convention. The 1st night we stayed at the Courtyard by Marriot and the room was very tiny and the Breakfast u had to buy and it was horrible to say the least. So we left and got a room at Homewood Suites. The room was only 10$ more and it was as big as a 1 bdr apt, very comfortable very clean and came with a free breakfast(which was good), and there outdoor pool area is just amazing. We go to this convention every year and I will definitly be staying here again.

Great hotel, all inclusive. Complementary beakfast every day, dinner during the week (free beer and wine included). The suites have a small kitchenette which was a pleasant surprise. Convenient location.

We booked a suite. It was spacious and comfortable. I slept on the pull out couch which was decent as far as couches go. The pool looked nice, but we didn't use it as it had just been opened for the season and was still pretty cold. The continental breakfast was great.

Nice free breakfast. Not the typical continental. Rooms were clean, comfortable & everything worked great. Weekday evenings also had a social w free beer & wine with a different theme (nachos, asian, tacos, etc) each of those nights. Convenient location to mall, shopping, restaurants and highways as well.

This hotel was pretty decent. The continental breakfast was pretty tasty, though they were slow to keep items filled with 45+ minutes left of breakfast time. None of us slept very well because the mattresses were too firm. Housekeeping was fine and the room was clean. It kind of sucked that there was not a cart to be found in our building when we were taking everything to the car early in the morning. I would probably stay here again.

My children love to visit. This staff greeted us in a warm and kindly manner. Rooms were immaculately clean. Every night there is a different happy hour and dinner buffet...free of charge! When there were no items on the dinner buffet that suited my children's particular palette, the manager (&staff) went out of his way to provide secondary items to please their palette. I will return as many times as possible when I travel this route. A+ effort to the management and staff!

Very nice, professional staff with a cozy decor. The rooms are a bit smaller than typical Homewood, but still very comfortable. The only drawback is that the walls are pretty thin, so if you have a noisy neighbor, you'll know it.

This a great hotel! We stay here every year with drumline for WGI. The service is wonderful and the rooms are very well done. Most of the rooms are suites and have kitchens and large refrigerators. They also have lots of electrical outlets and USB ports in the rooms.

Excellent service, friendly staff, great food, convenient, dog friendly, rooms were nice. On our way back home we went to the air force museum and decided to stay the night there and let our boys run and dogs out. Overall great experience.

Loved the layout of the 1 bedroom 2 double bed suite. Private exterior entrance to the room. First floor made getting bags in and out of the room quick and painless. Great staff at breakfast. I wish more Homewood Suites used this Floorplan.

Hotel rooms were located in adjacent buildings to the main lobby which was a slight inconvenience. Rooms were about average. Fitness room lacked any free weights.

This hotel is pretty rundown. I was rather bummed at the quality of the room when I arrived. I guess you can't expect to much from Dayton but I wish I'd booked at another Hilton property.

The room was nice. Has a kitchen and living room area. The staff was sincerely kind. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because some of the kitchen utensils were melted or bent and some were dirty

Love the large rooms and the amount of outlets for plugging in your electronic devices. The breakfast and dinner menu is just right and a good atmosphere. No one is running over you, like is some other places in the morning. Quite night and the staff are very helpful.

Rooms were mostly clean, design was updated and modern, plenty of room for a large group or large family.
Breakfast was really good.
We did have some issues, but the staff was quick to resolve them.

We stay In the king suite and it was a spacious room, we could fit 2 pack and play in the bedroom and close the door. They provided all the basic supplies for the kitchen. But we waited hours for them to bring us the pack and plays and had to call again to request them. But overall a good experience.

Amazing lobby staff. (Front desk and breakfast/dinner) everything was clean and enjoyable. Housekeeping was not up to the standards I expect. Several times towels were taken without clean ones in their place, and the housekeepers leave trash bags and dirty laundry bags outside. Overnight on a couple occasions. Overall I would stay here again, just not for an extended period again.

The suite was very nice, clean and up to date. The only negative thing that comes to mind is the fitness center is exceptionally small. That being said they did have a 1/2 court bball hoop and pool but both were outdoors

This my second time staying at this location for my, Central State University, Homecoming! This hotel brings all the comforts of home in a beautiful and serene setting. The suite includes a living room space with television, pull out couch, desk and kitchenette. The free wifi an added bonus for work, school, or, fun. The king sized bed with plush pillows will ensure you get the rest you need. There is another flat screen tv in the bedroom as well. The spotless bathroom, well-lighted, plenty of closet space with tub and shower. The location, near Wright State University, is convenient for shopping as well as large selection of places to eat, anytime of the day. The staff courteous and helpful and the hot morning breakfast was just the right fit for me. Whenever, I'm in this area, this is where I'd stay!

I stayed at both this hotel and the Holiday Inn next door on the same trip. The beds here were much better and the room was more luxurious with the kitchen/fridge/suite set up. The Holiday Inn however had a much better breakfast option and the workout room was superior.
