We only stayed for one night. The place looked great and the amenities were plenty. My only real issue was we were told we were being put in a non-smoking room and the room reeked of cigarette smoke. It was 5 of us and a child and we were exhausted from a long day of sightseeing so we just settled for the room and didn't make an issue of it. I would make sure next time to be very specific that we want a non smoking room.

Really good service but room we got was outside toward the back, 3 flights up with a baby and kid-related ton of gear for a 1 night stay. Probably not again with family.

The Hyatt house on segundo is very nice. It's like living in a mini house. Everything is right there for you. The staff is very friendly and kind also willing to help in anything they can. It has a family feel with grilling available and complimentary breakfast that has a variety of options.

One of the few places where you can get a 2 bd 2 ba suite. The rooms seem just a little bit older but the staff is very nice and the location is great. There's also a pool, gym and free breakfast.

The place is cleaned, breakfast is decent; however, there is no elevator. So, if you have lots of luggage, and stay on second floor, good luck. By the way, they do offered assistance if you need it.

This is an excellent and well provided |otel, with only the minor issue that the rooms (two room suites with included kitchen and full fridge) are on the outside of several buildings. The included breakfast is quite tasty, and the staff are friendly. However, oddly (and a first in my experience), the omlet station, clearly in the kitchen, won't make fresh eggs.

Our favorite place to stay in the Los Angeles area! Great staff, clean rooms, excellent grounds keeping. Breakfast is good.

Staff was great and friendly. The room was clean and had everything you'd need. Breakfast has a lot of variety and omelets are freshly cooked. I would recommend that they add room service because they have none. There are stores a few blocks from the place.

Had an awesome stay. Comfortable arrangements, good breakfast in the morning, also had a nice swim. Restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores are all nearby so that's a plus

Had a pleasant stay here, got upgraded to a massive suite. Window shades didn’t work well and are not conducive to letting natural light in while maintaining privacy. Complimentary breakfast is a good touch, but food is very average tasting and could use a lot more variety and flavor and healthier options. Beautiful property though, convenient to Manhattan Beach, and has kitchens in all the rooms since it’s more of a long term stay place. Free WiFi included. Decently clean but a bit outdated feeling rooms.

Three room places. Nice pool area. Centrally located. Near many restaurants and retail stores. Beach 5 minute drive.

Very nice front desk staff. We checked in late (after midnight at least) and I was disappointed I couldn't stay longer! The room was huge, very clean, well decorated and had everything we needed! Would definitely recommend!

Second time staying here. The rooms are really nice. I love the modern feel and the fact that it's laid out with a separate room, kitchen, and living room. The free breakfast is bland but it's free, so I can't complain. Overall great place to stay.

Stayed here for an interview and it was an amazing place. Convenient location, breakfast, friendly staff, a basketball court, pool, and outdoor place to grill. Definite recommendation!

The Hyatt House was very nice. Clean. Polite staff. Good location. The only thing odd were that the beds were actually very high off the ground.

Everything was wonderful. Our experience as Hyatt House Los Angeles guests was great. The room service was very good, the continental breakfast was fast and very good quality. And the price was right for the kind of service you receive. I recommend this place

I really enjoyed visiting the Hyatt House Hotel for my nephews birthday party. The hotel was clean and modern. I also noticed security guards patrolling the perimeter...safety first!

There room layout is great for decompressing. It's in a good area for business. My customers are 5 min away

The only reason for the any stars is because of the hotel staff. They were great. The room was smoke smelling. The smokiness triggered my wife’s asthma. The door handles were broken. My son and daughter got stuck in one of the rooms until I was able to jimmy it open. The pocket bathroom door locks didn’t work and no handles to slide the door open. The Hyatt customer service hasn’t responded to my email.

Spacious rooms, but no elevators! basic breakfast for vegetarians but omlette station is good. a/c vents blows air right onto the bed. Location is close to airport anf Manhattan Beach which is good.

This was our first visit to Hyatt House. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were updated and modern, however there was some visible wear and tear. Breakfast was good, not the best but better than average. The omelette station was awesome. Overall we had a good experience and would stay again if in the area.

UPDATE: Due to a major billing screw up I am adjusting my review. This stay was paid for by points and somehow I ended up with THREE charges for the stay. It took several phone calls to resolve which is very frustrating.

This place is great. Rooms are amazing, very discuss, and full with useful appliances. Highly recommended if you are here for a short or long stay. It's closer to shopping centers, restaurants, and a 5 minute drive to the beach

Only four stars because of the price and because of the light rail that ran past my room every few minutes. Nice and friendly place, great breakfast. Oh yeah, whenever I got there my room was not for about 30 minutes even though it was a couple of minutes past check-in time. I asked for a late check-out because of this, I did not get one.

Well located for LAX. Spacious and well appointed rooms/suites. Double Queens consist of two separate bedrooms with a well equipped kitchenette. Friendly staff. A simple but plentiful buffet breakfast. Free coffee availible throughout the day

Good location. Lot of stores/restaurants around. Average, very busy breakfast. Very dirty floors. Water went black when washing feet. AC not good. Either 71F/21C or you can set it up to specific temperature but still it drops sometimes to 71F/21C. You cannot turn it completely off. Nice small pool with sun chairs. You can also BBQ by yourself.

Their room availability system was down upon arrival, but the manger was upfront and courteous in handling v the delayed check in process. Overall the room was a great size for the cost. Cleanliness was good but not perfect, one glass in the cabinet was dirty with particles stuck to the glass and there were beads scattered on the floor.

A large group of us (10) went to go see a play in Hollywood. Some of our group had flights the next morning, so we stayed here. Lovely spacious rooms that fit all comfortably, located close to LAX, and even provided a complimentary breakfast prior to us all departing. Definitely recommend if you need a good place to stay near LAX.

I just stopped by to visit my fiance's parents who were staying a few nights. Great location. Walkable to nice shopping and lots of restaurant options. Quick drive (11 minutes) to one of my favorite beach in So Cal (Manhattan beach). Their room looked so spacious and clean. Great blackout curtains and features.

Clean rooms and nice overall atmosphere. The rooms were spacious and well furnished. The pool seemed nice,though I did not use it. And it seemed like a very family friendly hotel.

Room was clean and beds were very comfortable. Seemed like this place had mostly families staying so if loud children don't bother you then this place is great! Very close to restaurants!

Good hotel with decent food and rooms but not so great hospatility.

I stay here frequently as it is walking distance from work. The rooms are spacious a bedroom, bath, closet separated from a good sized living area with a small kitchen. TV in both rooms actually allows the use of other video sources. WiFi is fast enough for Netflix. Breakfast spread is above average for a hotel like this. There's even an omelet bar. Staff are friendly and have always been helpful. There are several good restaurants within a 5 minute walk.

Had the best experience living there for three months. Breakfast is delicious and the staff are attentive and work really hard to keep us happy.

Rooms are very nice. But close to the train so you can hear it at night.

Pros: large suites, good breakfast and close to LAX airport.

Cons: very slow WiFi (around 1 Mbps), shower head was covered in white lime-stone powder like residue and poor hotel service by hotel staff, see below;

Upon arrival, we found several (5 or 6) mosquito-esque winged insects (not a typical small fruit-fly) near the vent and bathroom at which point we called the lobby. I spoke to one of the staff and showed her several pictures of dead insects I captured and advised them they were also found in a room where my friend and his family were staying. She apologized and moved us to a different room (family of 4 with 2 children) and offered us $100 discount for our 3 nights of stay (we did not ask or prompt this offer, instead, they offered it to us). After 3 nights of stay, during a check out, the Hotel staff (female supervisor) advised us they could not reimburse us the 100 dollars they had promised since we had used "Hotels dot com" to pay for our accommodation. After a brief conversation, the same hotel staff agreed to honor the offer and took our information down, promising she would get back to us the next day once she figures how the method of payment for reimbursement. After returning home, I waited full 5 days before writing them an email asking for an update on the situation. No replies, no phone calls were returned. Its been over 10 days and no one representing this hotel had contacted us. At this point, it is safe to assume that they have simply ignored us, hoping this issue (either a false promise of reimbursement or grossly overpromised reimbursement) would go away if they can ignore us.

The hotel was great from the staff at front desk to help at Breakfast Buffet. Loved the homemade Omelets. The rooms are large.

Room service is not good. No extra blanket available upon advance booking. Housekeeping need to improve.

Very nice rooms, very clean, and very nice staff. The room was actually comprised of two rooms, a living/kitchen/dining area, and a bedroom. The only con is that the office is hard to find.

Nice motel style apartments; nice kitchens (with sink, convection oven, dish washer & coffee maker); big televisions. Outside: mini basket ball court and outdoor pool, gym and small business area. Cons: near train tracks. Couldn't hear the trains from our rooms but it's possible. Great service as well!

The location isn't terrible, price is decent considering that. When I arrived (albeit a little early) there wasn't a room immediately available and the person who knew which one would be available wasn't responding to their attempts to contact them. That being said it was only a few minutes extra wait. They provided me with cookies for waiting, not bad. Everyone was friendly, just not exactly prepared for me to arrive.

When I arrived at my room things looked pretty good. A neat little suite with all the amenities. The cell signal is non existent and the WiFi is supplied by att which I thought was weird. They provided the password however and the WiFi connection has been strong since connecting.

The air and lights are all on timers and are triggered if you're present in your room. Handy at times, annoying at others.

It's HYATT, the quality is above the level.
Provide breakfast, stable Wi-Fi, and very friendly staff.

Great hotel. Loved the hospitality of the staff, decor, price, and location. The free glass of wine at the hosted wine hour in the lobby was pretty awesome too.

Parking can be difficult if you have larger vehicles. Breakfast was very yummy, beds were comfortable, tons of amenities

Hotel is nice, but the rooms could be better. In terms of maintenance, the room had a door that didn't sit and created a large draft while sitting in the living area and the edges of the catpet were fraying. In terms of cleanliness, I had a few dead flies behind the couch on the window sill, I had to clean the silver wear and plates before use due to crusty stuff on them. If you are on the north or east side facing out from the court yard, the green line light rail is very loud every 10 to 15 minutes for about 10 seconds. The furniture and decor are nice and really gives the place a feeling of home, all in all.

WiFi is good for a hotel. You can walk to trader joes and several restaurants and stores. Downside is that it is next to metro line so you hear trains.

The Staff is extremely helpful & accomadating!!! They took care of all my needs while I stayed there for 22 days!!!! That's LA for you; Apt move got delayed. The establishment would have received 5 stars of it had an airport shuttle & elevators in the townhouse style setting.. Clean & Hospitable, close to LAX, Manhattan Beach, restaurants, grocery stores, and the I 405 & I 105 freeways.

Nice clean hotel. Friendly helpful staff. We stayed with two little kids for three nights and had an overall pleasant stay. For a Hyatt House it nevertheless ranks a bit lower. The rooms were refurbished but you can tell that this hotel has been there for a very long time. The kitchen equipment (dishes etc) are heavily used and i first thought they were all dirty, but they had just been used, too many times (in my opinion) so maybe a replacement might be a good idea. The heating plate and the microwace were greasy when we arrived. The breakfast was good with a usual mix of hot and cold. The pool was nice and clean, the BBQ area served their purpose well, the market could have more selection. If you plan to come here be advised that the "houses" 2,4,6,8,10 and 12 face towards the train tracks (you can barely hear it, but you can...) while the others face inside towards the pool. All in all a good hotel and location to stay with a family.

Everything is Awesome at this Hotel. This was our second time staying here. The staff if friendly and helpful, they have great breakfast and they have laundry service. The premise is clean and welcoming. They have a great pool for summer nights and a fire pit for s'mores. We love that walls are thick enough to not hear side, upper or outside people making noise and you cn rest. We will definetly be staying here in our future trips. The only things we did not like this time around was that not only are you already paying a good price for the room but they charge now for parking...doesnt seem right. Another thing was that there were people getting very drunk in the patio area and doing nasty things which we didnt want kids to see but good thing we couldnt hear them from our room. Other than that we had a great time with the family.
