Wonderful stay! My room was super clean and comfortable, the hotel is cool and modern and in the center of downtown Portland. Valet and front desk were so helpful!

Amazingly beautiful, elegant taste and perks that keep calling your name even though you want to save a few dollars the next time you're in Portland.

Time after time I find myself booking a room hereto take advantage of the prime location and nightly benefits the hotel offers.

It's whether it's a free wine hour, free massage or free music they always seem to offer something. The drinks are kind of expensive but there are lots of options downtown if you're looking to save since you'll be spending so much on the room.

All in all an amazing place that I keep coming back to, I would recommend using points or some rewards benefits if you want this room but don't like the price. It really is worth it.

Spent 3 days here with a business group for a company offsite. Staff were unfailingly pleasant and helpful, rooms were stylish and spacious, and location is perfect for exploring downtown. Looking forward to returning for a romantic weekend with the Mrs.

Love the Kimpton group- this hotel staff seemed to be a little less attentive and caring as others I have stayed at. I say that because of the length of time they take to get your room ready- provide refreshments when waiting to check in, and the lengthy time they take to solve problems you may have with your room (tv not working, items not being clean, etc). The music and social hour are nice- the lobby is chic and very interesting, and the adjoining restaurant is a nice place to have a brunch drink before departing.

Great hotel. The staff are professional and courteous. The hotel is updated and the rooms are very large. They have fruit infused water, coffee and tea. The only complaint is that the showers are pretty low, but I think I may have been in a handicap room and I'm 6'5". Great experience though.

I'll be 100% honest, I booked this hotel mainly for the bathtub. And I was so glad I did. That was so relaxing! Our suite was perfect. The red couch was comfortable and we enjoyed the skylight for natural light and a sneek-peak at the weather. I especially loved the option to opt-out of room service to save $5 per day you decide to skip it. Very cool. The rest of the hotel turned out fantastic! We used the free bike rental, and the restaurant in the lobby was delicious! Lastly, the hotel was in a great location, so it was super easy to walk to all the major sites, and the bikes made everything in range.

What makes a stay pleasant is not only the accommodation but the staff. I was traveling with my daughter & her husband, my son his wife and my two year old grandson our room were spacious and the cleaning staff was excellent (especially after the mess a 2yr old can make) room service was yummy and reasonable. But, everyone from the doorman to the concierge were pleasant, informative and helpful.

My husband and I have stayed here for multiple anniversaries and birthdays. The staff is always so respectful and attentive and we always have an amazing time. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Location is in the heart of Portland and near many yummy restaurants, including the one located in the building. This is definitely one of the coolest places to stay in the area and I highly recommend it!

Love the look and feel of the hotel. Very unique rooms and hotel in general. There's a built in bar and restaurant as well as a lounge area that has live music. Lots of other bars and restaurants pretty close by as well. Had a few issues checking in since their systems were down but they offered to upgrade and give a few complimentary drink vouchers. Overall, a great experience.

I love the complimentary wine hour and the fruit flavored water in the lobby. The location is great, because it is walking distance to Grassa, Cheryl's, food trucks, and Pearl district. There are a number of hotels and restaurants nearby making the area safe. The lobby area can be noisy if what you want is a quiet area to work. When exiting the elevator to the floor of my room, I am hit with unpleasant warm air and welcomed with air conditioning once I enter my room.

The staff is very friendly and super knowledgeable about the area. The service was fantastic. Their bar and games area are fun places to hang out and will give you the feeling of a hostel’s public areas where travellers go to meet and exchange stories.

My husband and I stayed at the Kimpton Hotel Vintage and it was an exceptional stay. Very clean and classy. The assistant manager Rachel was amazing and we really appreciate her hospitality. We would definitely recommend it!

Had a fantastic overnight stay here with the family. Luxurious accommodations with the nicest staff. Ordered room service for breakfast that was worth the wait. Super fun game room that the whole family enjoyed. Would love to come and stay again.

Fab hotel excellent service, wonderful atmosphere and LOVED the bar and live music after dinner. I saw 2 of the rooms and they were exactly the same kind of wish they varied, by no means a deal breaker.

Really cool place. Stayed here for a work event and was surprised when I checked in that my room had a private balcony with its own hot tub. Enjoyed my stay.

Downtown it is!!!
One thing I love about The place is in middle of downtown. Everything is in walking distance from this place. I parked my car once I arrived and didn't take it out for the whole weekend.

The service is great with friendly staff at the hotel, with even free wine and some cheese and crackers in the evening if lucky.

There is a parking lot right opposite to the hotel with overnight parking availability which is fantastic. It was around $35 for two days which is much cheaper than hotel itself. One downside is you can't do multiple re-enteries. Enjoy!!!!

The hotel was very nice and its central location was very convenient. The room was clean and comfortable. Everyone we dealt with was pleasant. The only draw back was the city street was pretty loud in the morning with sirens and garbage trucks, but I guess that affected all the hotels nearby. I would stay there again.

Shockingly luxurious, top tier hotel of Portland. Humble and simple exterior gives modest expectation until a doorman greets you towards the interior where you will find a very deliberate and contemporary furnishings. Ultra professional staff, everything that can be seen or found in general areas are of top quality. Center hallway is also a loft to a nice bonus game room. Rooms are no different, very nice interiors with top quality furnishings. Very modern furniture, decent views thanks to location, and bathrooms are very nice despite smaller in size.

We had a nice time on New Years staying at the Kimpton. Rooms are clean and have a nice vibe. They didn't have our room ready 2 hours past check in but gave us a free drink for the wait. I would stay here again. Save yourself some money and skip the valet for a garage just around the block.. cost us 5 bucks for overnight.

This was an easily accessible spot we stayed at on a Friday night after a late night flight into Portland. We didn't do much socializing at the hotel but they had a ton of happy hour and wine tasting events for the crowd. We really enjoyed the room, the large showers and the extremely cozy beds. Would recommend for a hip young couple or group of friends.

We had an amazing experience here for our first getaway overnight sans children since becoming parents 5+ years ago. Ended up catching a flash sale on one of the INCREDIBLE Urban Soak rooms to celebrate a birthday surprise and the hotel staff more than met all our needs from check in to check out, including complimentary goodies to celebrate with, customized snack plate from the accommodating Bacchus Bar (while the Pazzo is closed for remodel) and the general pleasant reactions and demeanors expected from a well established Kimpton hotel. It's in such a convenient location too, relative to downtown walking conveniences. Thank you for making it an awesome stay

Can't rate this place high enough! Clean, modern, and welcoming. The staff were so friendly and just went above and beyond. It really is in the details. Free bath robes, free bicycle rentals, and social events put on by the hotel including breakfast and live music just to name a few. The bartenders were amazing and could make just about anything, and the concierge was extremely knowledgeable and could recommend anything from a dive bar to a high society restaurant and anything in between. And all of this for about the best price that I could find in the city! I would say that the only negative is that the restaurant is under construction. Still, great place to stay.

Stayed in the Urban soak room for 2 nights, the only upside was the location. Overpriced and false advertising. The room we chose did not have a "private balcony" rather it was in perfect view of the apartments and offices next door. This room is not the same one they advertise! It was extremely small and the bed was uncomfortable. We will not be staying here again, waste of money. Front desk didn't even have the courtesy to tell us the kitchen was closed due to renovation our first night.
Your money is better spent elsewhere.

Was there for a catered work party, complete with hosted private bar. Interesting decor, good music, and a couple games available - shuffle board and pool. Food was tasty. Wine was all from California, which is disappointing for those who prefer and are proud of Oregon wine.

The staff amd common areas were absolutely amazing. The game floor(s) were a great touch, and the restaurant (Pazzos or something) was amazing. The rooms were okay... pretty typical hotel rooms. They were clean and had a nice Vintage/Kimpton touch to them, but didn't distinguish themselves from any other hotel. The top floor rooms have hot tubs on the balcony as well.

This hotel was beautiful and the rooms were perfect. The staff was kind and courteous. Any time I'm back in the city this will be where I stay from now on.

One of my favorite hotels to stay downtown Portland. Great location right on Broadway in the heart of the city if your from out of town. Staff is always friendly and super helpful. Even the small stuff is great, different flavored water in the lobby every day.

Very nice staff. Good hotel location but tons of homeless people around. I wouldn't mind but Portland has a lot of mentally ill homeless so it's not always date to walk around at night. No water bottles is an easy miss. None on the room or with the hotel staff... Mattress is very springy. I am used to memory foam and was not very comfortable.

The location was right around other bars and clubs which was awesome. When we walked in the lounge was alive with people music drinks, it was amazing. The penthouse suite had a pretty sweet view of downtown portland and was a decent size as well. We will definitely be coming back!

The location is fantastic, just a few blocks from more restaurants and Pioneer Square. The bar/lobby is tastefully decorated, warm, and comfortable. A very nice wine list and local wines on tap. Food was very good. Convenient to public transportation.

Very nice atmosphere and decor. Hallways have no AC and you can break a sweat just waiting for the elevator. Front desk staff is very courteous and informative.

The air conditioner was kind of noisy. Literally my only complaint. Super close to a lot of fun tourist spots and great restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful.

What a great place to stay in Portland! Absolutely beautiful hotel, with amazing and friendly staff. Super relaxed atmosphere, and a perfectly crafted Manhattan from Goose. We will be back.

Second visit. The room with the patio spa is amazing! Great view of downtown skyline in the evening was incredible. Fun little game area with pool and shuffleboard, but the space is a little too tight for the pool table. The staff members at the hotel were great; friendly, helpful, and really made us feel welcome.

We stayed here on our wedding night and had such a great experience! Very thoughtful staff made it feel extra special. ❤

Nice place, but sometimes limited staffing without much notice such as sharing the wine bar attendant and the valley with no notice. Location is not bad and the rooms are descent size. Would stay here again.

Went yo a professional event. The space for the meeting was great. The food (grilled veggie and cheese side board) was excellent. If you need a space for a presentation for 50people this place was great.

Awesome hotel in a great location. The bar is cool and always crowded. Rooms are spacious, if not huge! Food is good as well. Definitely an upscale boutique hotel.

Stayed a night here with my wife on the first part of our trip and it was amazing! Staff is super friendly and helpful. Valet was very quick and gave us some tips on where to find the closest food trucks (less than 2 blocks away). We spent the night in the studio room which was nicely decorated and had a pretty high ceiling. Live music and wine hour at night was very laid back and awesome. We also got a complimentary breakfast through our booking site which is basically 1 drink, 1 pastry and a small bowl of fruit varieties. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place with live music and drinks in the lobby. The floor I visited had nice little lounging area right by the elevators. The room I visited was spacious with plenty of art and decorations.

I came to have drinks with a friend who was staying in the hotel. It was a really nice experience. The staff was super friendly and the food was really good. The drinks were awesome and they had a really good special. I am totally going to be back for a happy hour in the future.

Stayed here for one night. All the staff were super friendly. The property and rooms are up to date and modern. The lobby has a wine tasting in the lobby around 5-6 pm daily. The hotel is centrally located and close to a lot of stores and restaurants. We loved the ambiance and the convenience of staying here.

The rooms are awesome. They think of everything. Each room is unique to a winery and you can purchase bottles in your room. They also have free wine tasting every night and by tasting I mean a full glass! And you can come back for more. Atmosphere is chill and the people are super nice.

Beautiful hotel with awesome staff. Had food and drinks from Brian at the bar and it was delicious. The hotels location puts everything easily walkable but even after walking around we kept ending up at the bar here. Very memorable place!

Great property. Attentive and thoughtful staff. Good public spaces throughout the property, including computers running the original Oregon Trail! Wine hour highlighting local wineries was great.

I met a friend staying at the hotel and the facility was great. I will be considering it if I needed to stay at a hotel downtown. The bar was nice and the lobby was very confortable. The second floor had a billiards table and other game tables. Good beer selection and the pizza was good.

I have stayed here a couple times. I love the rooms, and can often get a decent deal on a room on slow nights. Right in the heart of downtown, so great if you want to walk and explore.

The bed was comfortable, the staff was friendly, the walls weren't thin, the views are great, their dog policy is really great, etc. The vibe is very modern, and they have a free wine tasting for people staying at the hotel, and a happy hour that's half off beer and wine. Parking is manageable if you can afford $12 a night for the parking structure across the street. The valet here is $45 a day. Spent 2 nights here in a corner room and loved it!

You get what you pay for... the price was steep but then the service was phenomenal as well! The rooms were clean and nice along with very very good decoration. We ordered breakfast which came in timely manner and was super fresh and delicious. Its morning and now i am hungry again.

The servers and bartender gave great customer service. The food was okay. The wine cellar room was perfect for our event.

Best sleep I've had at a hotel in a long time. Hotel is modern, staff is helpful and the rooms are comfortable. I'm not sure of the brand of bed, but the bed itself, the linens and the pillows all contributed to an amazing sleep. The only thing that was disappointing was the lack of parking. However, there is a public lot across the street. I'd definitely stay here again.

This hotel was great! My girlfriend and I stayed for our anniversary and we had a great time. It was a perfect location close to some great food. Valet was a nice touch too ha.

Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this little boutique hotel. It was nice to be surrounded by the unique design after having stayed for 4 days in rubber stamped chain hotel. Very "wine centric" in its art and services. The people were a delight and the attached restaurtant wonderful for breakfast. Free superb coffee and newspapers in the lobby early in the morning were a great way to start the day if you don't have the time to sit for breakfast in the restaurant next door.

The staff was professional, courteous, and VERY knowledgeable about the city. Their dog policy is very relaxed. All and all, this is one of the best hotels I've ever visited. We got our room at a considerable discount, but I'd gladly pay full price (if I could afford it) next time.

nice kimpton, with standard hip decor and really nice staff. our room facing the street was teeny tiny but clean and we didn't stay in it much. great lobby, with a pool take on the second floor. the whole thing is wine themed. parking is 40$+ but pretty standard for the city. well located and very close to powells, blue star donuts, etc.

The King Reserve Spa Suite was HUGE! The deep soaker tub was definitely the way to go. It was like being in a hot top, without the jets. We went for our anniversary and they gave us a bottle of champagne to celebrate. The staff was very friendly. The bar downstairs was really nice. The environment was great! Will definitely be staying there again.

This hotel is conveniently located in downtown Portland. The interior decor is fun and playful, yet sophisticated. The hotel's theme is wine-related, which is very Portland and whimsical. The rooms are tastefully appointed. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Service was amazing everyone was so friendly and super accommodating with every possible need, the room was nice the deck and hot tub was amazing very clean apon getting into my room I found a hand written card and a free bottle of wine which was super thoughtful the guys at the bar were very nice all around the stay was amazing and I'll Def stay there again

Wine tasting daily, free coffee in the morning. Rooms are decent, about what I'd expect. Great overall!

If any of you guys are looking for dirt cheap hotel deals I would check out HotelRaven. Com I saved a ton of money using that site.

The hotel is nice and the staff was great. Unfortunately, the valet parking was not. Our car was vandalized. They do not have secure parking. They park the vehicles in a public parking garage that has little or no security. Better have a low deductible on your auto insurance if staying at this hotel and using their valet parking. It should also be noted that they do not offer "self parking". The Assistant General Manager offered to refund the valet parking fee only. Hardly worth asking for them to send the $43 when we won't be able to use our car for a week (the parts will take that long to get to our auto repair shop) and we were stranded in another city on a Sunday. Fine hotels have guests with nice cars. Providing safe parking should be expected. Not warning the guests that the parking is not secure is unprofessional and irresponsible. We would have stayed elsewhere. Never had this problem at other nice downtown Portland hotels.

for the price the place needs better sound proofing could hear every door slam and voice in that place, doors are not padded so can hear them slam from down the hall, the bed was hard as hell and was not comfortable, the shower was so small it was barely usable and the cleaning staff had no concept of inside voices. The cable TV kept cutting out. Over all I won't be back, aesthetics alone won't save my opinion of this hotel I gave it a chance and it failed, for $300 a night, my expectations are high
