Perfect location! The rooms were modern and the staff was helpful. Parking is expensive (as expected), but valet was convenient. The CVS being connected to the entry was a nice convenience as well.

This was probably my worst stay at a nice hotel. 1) Parking situation was atrocious; long waits for valet which, I believe was contributing to major traffic jam right outside the main doors. We didn't use valet, got charged for it anyway. They did end up refunding that. 2) No towels at the pool. 3) We had a modest sized group that wanted to eat pizza together. Found an atrium on the 4th floor to do that, but there was almost no lighting in the room. It was like eating in the dark. 4) One of the main reasons we came was to get a nice breakfast in the morning before heading to volleyball tournament. Breakfast doesn't even start until 7:00 on the weekends. I love sleeping in as much as the next guy but even to me 7:00 seems late to start breakfast. We had to be at out of there by 6:30am so...no breakfast for us. 5) We reserved a specific room to be close to friends--they switched us upon check-in. Also, subsequently could never get Digital Key to work. 6) Had to wait forever on elevators. If I could have found stairs I would have taken them but that place is like finding you way around Hogwarts.
On the plus side, the room seemed clean and comfortable.

My preferred hotel when I stay in Louisville. It’s conveniently located in downtown within a short walking distance to food and entertainment. The staff is attentive. The breakfast and happy hour spreads are delightfully simple but well worth attending. Free beer, wine, and sangria from 5:30-7:30pm every weeknight is a win.

The hotel is beautiful. My room was very clean and well maintained. Stayed here for 4 day for a conference that was also held at the hotel. I would have given a 5-star review but there is no breakfast included with your stay. There is a restaurant with a breakfast bar, as well as the ability to order from the kitchen but both of those options are pretty pricey. Overall I would stay again but would venture out for breakfast.

This is now one of our favorite places in the nation to stay. Next to St. Louis, this town and this Embassy suites is top of the list! They have it all starting with location; right next to everything. Their staff and service is fantastic and friendly. The managers happy hour is a welcome benefit every night and the cooked to order breakfast every morning really tops it all. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Can't wait to stay again!!!

Had a lovely stay here in one of the premium suites. I was very impressed with the size of the suite, which had twelve foot ceilings, a wet bar area, with microwave and refrigerator. The large flat screen TV was mounted to the wall with a cantilever arm, which allows you to swing it around to the sitting area or bed. I also appreciated the professional iron, complimentary snacks and beverages and premium high speed Internet. I look forward to staying here again and highly recommend them.

So here is an easy quick review. The hotel is beautiful. The location is great for downtown nightlife. Very close to 4th Street and kind of in walking distance to museums and stuff on market St/main St. I gave this four stars because the rooms we had to be in for the event had some pretty interesting conditions. The first room had no ac and the second room had the AC on 60°. It was hard to function and pay attention with stuff like that going on in the background. Other than that it was very nice.

Loved this hotel! The location is perfect for walking to fourth street live. The staff is very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Everyone we interacted with was great! The free happy hour from 5:30-7:30 with drinks and snacks provided was awesome! The bartenders were very quick and helpful! The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The large windows provided wonderful views and the shower worked well. We will definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

The room was very nice. We were right around the corner from the breakfast area & when we arrived, it was the evening bar. I was surprised to find the room was completely quite. We tried to use the pool in the morning, around 9, which was suppose to open at 7 & were told they were balancing the levels; however, we were told that doesn't usually take very long; I was a bit disappointed that wasn't done earlier in the morning, instead of waiting for someone to ask to use the pool. Breakfast was good, better than some hotel breakfasts.

So my Husband and I spent our wedding anniversary here and it was the best decision he could have made. I knew nothing about this hotel so my Husband did a lot of research and found this hotel to be modern and really great accommodations. Also, the breakfast here is amazing and free of course. If you book this place you won't be disappointed.

The rooms were very nice clean and neat. The style was very contemporary in nature with very calming color schemes. The staff was very amenable and willing to serve at any time. The breakfast area although crowded due to pre Derby week activities, was very well-stocked and the staff kept the area very neat and clean. The Omelette buffet was extremely good and the shafts very pleasant! Overall, I would definitely stay at this facility again.

Good hotel in a good location if you're looking to be near plenty of restaurants and things to do in Louisville. Fourth Street Live is less than a block away. Rooms are well furnished and clean. Drinks and snacks during the nightly Evening Reception are always great. Service is as you'd expect from a hotel like this. Overall a great place to stay if you're coming to downtown Louisville.

Beautifully designed lobby and the suite I have has marble floors with a really nice living room. Love the high ceilings in the rooms and the glass shower. Great hotel. There is CVS attached to it for all your quick needs including an extensive liquor, wine, and bourbon section. Across the street are many restaurants in walking distance.

Hotel is clean and nicely presented. Amenities feel a bit forced but overall very nice hotel. Located in the heart of downtown but during the week there is not a sole around. Very quiet.

Overall I have had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The parking is Valet only, just be prepared for that. The room is one of the best Embassy Suites I’ve ever stayed at. The size of the room is bigger than the norm, including tall ceilings, which makes for an incredible feel in the room.
The entry and lobby area is gorgeous and luxurious, does not feel like a standard hotel. Couches and chairs are everywhere, allowing for plenty of room to sit and work or gather.
The breakfast and reception area is on the third floor, though there is also a bar on the first. The elevators require your room key for use, so you know you’ve got a bit more security.
The hotel is right off of 4th street live, so there is plenty to do and to see. Lots of restaurants on that block to choose from.
The hotel is also just a few blocks from the river (google says half mile), where there are museums, the ferry, the river, and some great touristy shops.
I ordered room service for dinner, and they were prompt and it was great. The only down side is that as directed, I left the tray outside of my door and as of 11 am, post housekeeping, it wasn’t picked up.
Again, all other aspects, great hotel stay.

They had a very nice space for breakfast that did not feel crowded. We have been in some that have felt more upscale like a club experience; this was more like a restaurant with a casual flair. They made eggs to order as well as omelets. We had a 2 room suite that was very roomy and comfortable. We were on the 6th floor and could still hear street noise (we have earplugs for similar emergencies}. There is a safe in the room for valuables. Highly recommend using it. Forgot to put something back in it and it was gone when we came back.

What a beautiful hotel. Great location in downtown Louisville, close to great restaurants and places to see. Be sure to stop in at the bar and meet Billy, an awesome, fun bartender. He made this last bits of our evening fun. Great service and excellent drinks combined with humor and conversation.

Location to all of the downtown hot spots was great. Staff super attentive and very polite. Reception time was awesome. Strongly recommend for anyone going to the downtown area.

Wonderful happy hour, great decor and very spacious rooms. Was disappointed at first to see we didn't get an exterior view room, but the extra space and nice amenities made up for it. Breakfast is good, but recommend that you get up early to avoid the rush

The hotel is clean. The room was great. Our room had everything you could need. Microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot, 2 big flat screens, great shower, comfortable bed. What we really enjoyed was the complimentary breakfast every morning. It was GOOD! We also loved the 2 hour complimentary happy hour...even on the weekend! The bar staff was great. And let's not forget that it IS right ON forth street which is where great restaurants and bars are at. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

Stayed here in Fall 2017. We only asked for a king bed, and we got a bed that was in a suite by itself, with a separate living space for TV/reading, etc. Don't know if we were just lucky or if this is normal. However, it worked great. Although the rooms were smaller, they were luxurious. BONUS: the "breakfast" includes made-to-order omelettes.

I was continuously blown away by this hotel. I loved the modern style and large waterfall fountain when you walked in the lobby. The room was large and had a living room separated from the bedroom with a pull out sofa couch. The thing that made the stay extra special was the staff. The bartenders during the complimentary drink/snack hours were friendly and super attentive. I have never had such great service and we weren't even sitting at the bar. The breakfast tasted delicious and had so many options (build your own omlette, fresh fruit, eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausage, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, cereal, yogurt and more). To top it off it is the perfect location if you want to go to 4th street live. One tip is to park in the garage next door (cost $10 a night instead of $27).

While I enjoy free food as much as anyone, the managers special has declined in quality over the years. You used to be able to depend on the food at the cocktail hour to replace dinner, but the cheese and crackers and salsa at this spread doesn't quite cut it. The staff were all very friendly and the room was very nice. Very high ceilings made the room seem huge.

This place is amazing. The rooms are large and well appointed in a nice and modern style, the lobby is very chic, the free breakfast is bar none one of the best available. The list goes on and on, and to top it all of the rates are extremely reasonable. Do yourself a favor, pay slightly more than a motel 6 and really enjoy your stay.

I do like this hotel more than other ones is this town and it would've gotten 4 or possibly 5 stars if it hadn't been for a couple things. I do like the free drinks and snacks you can get at night, the only problem I had with that, is that the meat tray had string still in the meat. Didn't notice it till after eating some. The waitress apologized and said that the person who cut it up, had forgotten to remove the wrapping. She removed the meat tray from the serving area. There wasn't a clock in my room and the TV is in a bad location, if it would've swiveled or pulled out from the wall it would have been better. The breakfast is great. All the employees seemed friendly and helpful. The bathroom in my suite wasn't the cleanest I had ever seen. The grout lines at the bottom of the shower walls need to be cleaned better. They need to have a hot tub put in by the pool area also. I do like that the elevator takes you right to the pool so you don't have to walk through the hotel. Couldn't get any of the games to work in the game room. They do provide a military discount.

I've stayed at a lot of hotels and the Embassy Suites in Downtown Louisville is definitely one of the nicest. The photos I've seen online really do not do it justice, the hotel is really quite impressive. The hotel is top notch with an elegant modern design. The rooms are cozy, spacious, and clean. The hotel has a free happy hour with light snacks everyday from 530-730 as well as a hot made to order breakfast. The indoor atrium is super neat and the pool is awesome. You have to stay here if you are visiting Louisville!

I love staying downtown Louisville, this hotel is great. Except when you see the frame sticking out of the bed and your wife catches her ankle on it. Be sure to check your beds to ensure there isn’t metal sticking out that you can rip open your ankle on when getting out of bed. Completely unacceptable by any standard.

Everything for the most part was great. Carpets could use some cleaning. Awesome location. The breakfast was absolutely amazing! I'd definitely stay again!

Overall a pleasant stay. The layout of the floor I was on was a little confusing and it was a long walk to my room but the room was clean and quiet. The upstairs bar didn't have as much stocked as I would like to see. Don't know if that's a usual thing but the alcohol selection was a but slim. Overall I would stay again .

The staff was very courteous and friendly. It was very clean and all the amenities were nearly new or newly renovated. The rooms were spacious and it is highly recommended. The location is great, as you can walk to most everything downtown, and the valet service was excellent.

It's location is great for exploring the city. The lobby is very well done and with the bar it has a nice atmosphere. The check-in guy wasn't particularly pleasant. The room was nice, and laid out we'll. The bed was far to stiff for my personal taste.

Best Embassy I've every stayed with. The service was friendly and very welcoming. The valet service was great I highly recommend. This hotel is walking distance to everything you could want for a good night out, but the rooms are also quite at the same time.

My son and I, just LOVE love this place. It is like our second home. Need a break from everyday routine, or not enough " extras " @ home. We can always count on this place to make it feel like home.
The only thing I keep my eyes out for, are the people outside in front of the hotel always begging for money or ciggerettes. I feel there should be a security officer during evening. And i feel the hotel needs roped off.
Other than that. It's great ♡

I throughly enjoyed my stay at the embassy suites. They offer a complimentary FULL breakfast. Being a vegetarian this was key for me. And to top it off every day from 530 to 730 FREE cocktails and snacks. AWESOME! I would definitely recommend staying here. Oh yeah the rooms were very affordable for what they offer.

The hotel was beautiful but the experience wasn't good. They aren't very helpful when I booked the room. When i got there they gave away one of the rooms we had booked. We had a big group with lots of kids and since the hotel was busy they were out of pillows. We were told they were going to bring us some sheets since they were out of pillows but they never did. I was also not happy that when checking in she asked for my card to pay and didn't tell me what the cost would be I had to ask. The amount I was told was not the amount the ran my card for. She failed to tell me the cost for the valet service and that it was being charged to my card them also. The charge for the valet was fine, but when asking how much I was being charged they should have included that. They did however, fix the issues when checking out by giving us both rooms we had booked for free, but the issue should have never happened in the first place.

Distinctly medium, not what I expect from the price. A very large room, but despite that there was no bathtub. No USB ports for charging, which are standard these days. The bed, while clean, had wrinkled sheets / bedding that didn't give an appearance of a crisp clean bed. The only way to turn the shower on was to get blasted by cold water (because of where the shower door was relative to the shower head). And the lobby felt a bit like a building site. Objectively still a nice room, but not relative to what I paid.

Location of this hotel was the chief reason for booking however once inside the facility one can tell that extra care is given to create a superior elegant hotel focused on customer satisfaction. The staff were ready to give directions to area attractions and restaurants. This is one of the best hotels we have stayed.

Had a great stay for three nights. Spacious, comfortable 2 queen room. The shower wasn't so great, but that was the only negative in the room. Parking was valet only and can be expensive ($27 plus tips). I parked in the Stewart Garage right behind the hotel, off 3rd St. It was $8/day (much better). Breakfast was very good, with made-to-order omelets, etc. Also enjoyed free drinks and snacks during Happy Hour.

Absolutely LOVED this hotel! I came in town for a concert at the YUM Center and the hotel was within walking distance to the venue as well as being on the same block as 4th Street LIVE. The location was amazing, but that's not even half of it! They have a daily cocktail hour (but it's TWO hours) with small plates and appetizers as well as a breakfast buffet every morning. Both of these were complimentary for guests. I think between the drinks that me and my friends had during the cocktail hour, paid for the hotel room on their own. The only thing I could complain on was how there was an unexpected $50 charge at check in, but I was told this was just a hold in case of room service, damages, etc. and it should be back on my card in a few days. Staff was friendly, the hotel was clean. Would definitely stay here again!

I really like the location with lots of good places to eat really close by. The hotel itself is very nice as well. The whole place look very nice and clean. The bed rooms are decently sized and the beds are very comfortable. All in all I have had a great experience here and would recommend it to somebody else.

Great location in heart of downtown Louisville, in walking distance to lots of attractions and restaurants. Great complimentary breakfast and evening reception. Suites are big and comfortable and modern. Amenities by Giovanni. You can park for free at certain times on the street, and nearby parking lots are cheap, but for the most convenience, and in and out privileges, you'll have to cough up 27 bucks a night (plus tips) for valet parking, they don't have a self park lot.

Lobby is very classy, much nice than most Embassies I stayed at previously. Suite is very roomy and comfortable. Pool is a little small, no hot tub. Made to order breakfast was a treat.

Great location especially if your attending functions downtime. Hotel was awesome, clean rooms, nicely decorated, very clean. Valet parking was great, nice feature to be able to text your car number to valet to have them get the vehicle and be ready by the time you get downstairs.

They have valet but it $17 for day & $27 for overnight which to me is overly expensive. when they know their located in the heart of downtown & parking spots are scares heck nearly impossible to find. So to me that's the hotel being greedy & parking price gouging, cause they know guest will have to use the valet for the reason there's nowhere else to park; unless you want to park & walk 6+ miles to get to & from the hotel. I didn't get to see the rooms you would sleep in/ or guest rooms, but I did see & spent over three hours in the conference room for a seminar; plus of course I walked through where guest check-in/or service desk area. And both were well and I mean extremely well designed. I have & play a Dame on my phone called design home which is a game where you design different areas of house for challenges, using very expensive furniture. So both those areas reminded me of the game and how I designed some of the rooms. About the food we didn't eat very lavish but the dressed turkey sandwich and chips were put together in Tall expensive cardboard lunch boxes.I found it kind of weird that in the lunch boxes they had straws but no drinks. But other than that of the parking issue I found the Embassy Suites a very nice nice hotel.

Really great location right next to the 4th Street downtown area. Free cocktail and snack reception in the evening and a great breakfast spread in the mornings. Bed was super comfortable with plenty of outlets on either side.

Beautiful hotel. The room was very clean, modern, and very spacious. House keeping came barging into the room at 9a. Check out was 11a. A little disappointing. Overall, great experience.

We stayed at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Louisville. The staff was very courteous, beds were extremely comfortable. Overall the hotel was very clean and enjoyable. However, was displeased with the lack of snack vending machines (couldn't find one at all); and the thermostat in the room only had a 7 degree range, making the room too hot, in December of all months.

Nice location near 4th Street live and the university of Louisville medical center. Rooms are large, and the breakfast is good. The evening reception is okay, and the food selection could be improved.

the location is fantastic; right across the street from fourth street live. The room had huge Windows and high ceilings and didn't give the feel of being a hotel room. We decided to give this hotel a try when they had a sale instead of staying in hotels we had been to previously and we are so glad we did. 10/10, we would go there again to stay. Complimentary breakfast and evening drinks and light snacks sent this hotel over the top for us. The bartender was incredible. We will be back for sure.

Amazing hotel, great design and decor. Built just over one year ago, everything is still fresh and brand new. This is a very lovely elegant modern hotel while still feeling peaceful and comfortable. The 4th floor Atriums are a wonderful place to come ane relax out of the rooms. The faux grass floor with real plants and being open above through the upper 3 floors allowing natural light to come through the skylights makes it a really calming place to enjoy. There are plenty of meeting rooms which can combine to meet any size requirement desired. The 3rd floor Orchid dining room is really inviting and open with a beautiful fountain of water columns in the center. Complimentary breakfast as well as complimentary happy hour makes for an unbeatable stay while in town. The lower level houses an indoor pool with a peaceful feel and accent of real plants for a great way to relax. There is an attached fitness center with a nice array of potential excercises and brand new machines. There is even an arcade room as well. Every area of this hotel is very classy and inviting. The guest rooms are very nice with huge ceilings and wonderfully comfy beds. This place will surely not dissapoint. The staff is wonderful and admirably attentive. Top choice hotel in downtown Louisville.

The room was great but there was a contact stuck to the wall in the bathroom. The complimentary breakfast was bad, bagels were stale, bacon was burnt, the soda machine quit working, BUT the staff was so nice!

Great location right in the heart of downtown Louisville. Walking distance to many tourist attractions and restaurants in Louisville. The room was great! Complete with an indoor courtyard to relax in. Complimentary breakfast buffet is complete with an omelette bar. As well as happy hour cocktails 7 days a week.

I really enjoyed this hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is also really convenient. Everything is simply down the street from the hotel. Out had a great selection of bats and places to eat. Rooms are really clean and comfortable. The beds sleep like clouds. Only thing is the room service is a little pricey and the spa is a little small. But for the price it is great.

Hotel staff was very professional upon arrival and during my stay. My suite exceeded my expectations, was well stocked, clean, well maintained and very comfortable. The location of the hotel by the convention center and 4th Street music/restaurant scene was a plus. Everything I needed was in walking distance.

Rooms and building was clean and nice. Water pressure was lacking at best, water heat had to be turned up all the way to be decent.

The free food/drinks nightly is nice, and the breakfast is good as well.

The hotel seems to block Netflix, so that's unavailable, but the HDMI input is still usable so if you have local content it'll work.

The hotel was gorgeous. Very clean! The front desk and hospitality staff during breakfast and snack were amazingly sweet. My only complaints were during our 5 day stay the shower had very little water pressure, our bed was not very comfy and the valet staff was extremely rude! To end on positive note having CVS there was huge plus and great location.

Lovely stay in a euro-modern atmosphere. Our room was spacious and quite comfortable with the couch, coffee table, desk and bar area. Loved the pillow top king size bed and that the bathroom was completely separated by a wall so as not to disturb your partner when using the facilities. We had a nice view of the atrium. The made-to-order breakfast was excellent as well as the staff servicing that room. By the 3rd day we were there, the attendant remembered our drink order and brought it over to us as soon as we sat down. Excellent service. The lobby staff was very courteous and helpful and security was great when we realized we couldn't access a side door after hours even with our room keys, but they quickly let us in. The evening happy hour was also very good and a great time to meet up with the others in our group. The location next to the 4th Street entertainment area offered lots of choices of restaurants and bars. Convenient CVS right by the hotel lobby. Only drawback is when you go outside, there are lots of "locals" in need, so be aware that you will be approached.

Embassy Suites downtown was great! The rooms are brand new, very spacious and accommodating. The staff was great as well. It was perfect for our weekend of events and in a wonderful spot to enjoy the downtown Louisville atmosphere.

The staff was courteous, valet parking was wonderful, we enjoyed clean rooms and surroundings, and the complimentary breakfast and late afternoon snacks were amazing. We had exceptional service both at breakfast and afternoon snack, by Trae and Leandra. They were helpful and friendly at all times. We were made to feel welcome and in no way rushed. We asked to see their supervisor, to commend their excellent service. Josephine came to speak with us and even brought us a map of stores and locations, to make our sightseeing experience, easier.
